We book on Friday afternoon while driving. After a 10 hour drive we got to the hotel and I went inside to check in, young man tells me they overbooked and gave our room to someone else. I called 30 other hotels and they all said they were full. I had two crying toddlers in the car, we were sooo tired after driving all night. We also were charged for the whole weekend even tho we never even stayed…...

Angelo, Aug 2020 - La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs Airport South
Pros (+) The price point was good and the people friendly.
Cons (-) The lack of cleaning. There was a Hershey bar and trash under the bed and house keeping requires a call 24 hours ahead of time and they don't bring new linens. You have to fetch them yourself. I understand if they don't want to touch your old ones, but why not the new ones? I understand COVID, but that shouldn't stop them from doing their best while taking precautions.

Cons (-) Internet didn't work. No mirrors in bathroom? No power for hair dryer? Hotel is a mess. Way overpriced for what you get.

Pros (+) The beds were comfortable...
Cons (-) The tub wasn't clean and you can't smoke anywhere on the property. The breakfast milk was sour, the cereals were stale, the toaster is old and slow, the waffle maker was old and didn't work properly, the waffle batter tasted old and made mushy nasty waffles, and even the fruit wasn't ripe, the bananas were lime green and hard. We were very glad to go home.

Thomas, Nov 2015 - La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs Airport South
Cons (-) The heater created a room full of smoke and set off the smoke alarm. When I called down to the front desk they said that happens every once in a while and didn't seem concerned. When we checked out (they did comp the room) we asked why it didn't trigger a master alarm in the office or front desk. They thought that it should have but didn't and asked the maintenance person to check it out. We left ...
