Cons: I found nothing to complain about.
Pros: Central location for the events and activities we attended.
Pros: Everything in the hotel is beautiful and tasteful. Our room was great, bed was comfortable, loved the robes.
Cons: One of the elevators was out of order, we mostly used the service elevators to get up and down. We were not particularly impressed with the staff. They were adequate, not really cordial. Pokemon players outside at night were creepy.

Pros: Great location when attending an event at the Excel Center.
Pros: Beautifully maintained historic hotel in quiet downtown St Paul. Very clean and quiet rooms
Cons: Need a regular fridge and expensive snacks.

Cons: Breakfast did not meet expectations as the omelet station and biscuits and gravy were not filled (the only other hot meal option was a waffle).
Pros: Friendly staff and very clean
Cons: Lumpy, old mattress
Pros: Very clean and service was wonderful!
Pros: Good breakfast selection.
Cons: Woman at front desk was totally unaware about local hiking trails or parks. Wasn't sure if you were able to walk around White Bear Lake.
Pros: Breakfast was awesome.
Cons: Yes the parking was not good, anyone pulling a trailer of any type would not find good parking and not able to turn around with it easy either!!
Pros: food was great, room was awesome.
Pros: Friendly staff.
Pros: The hotel was sparkling clean and very attractive inside. Awesome pool and steamroom. Great breakfast and they even put out snacks in the evening. Fast internet. Fridge and microwave inthe room along with a large tv with extensive channel choices.
Cons: Pillows are filled with chuncky foam. Not very comfortable.
Pros: Front desk staff excellent. Quiet and comfortable rooms.
Pros: Very nice and clean. Good breakfast selections. Rather small hotel, which was nice.
Cons: The two doors into the hotel are not automatic -- pretty awkward with luggage.
When visiting White Bear Lake, AmericInn Lodge and Suites White Bear Lake is a great choice to consider. Guests can get a morning swim in at the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with pillowtop beds and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice hotel. I like nice hotels and this is one.
Cons: Only noteworthy problem was that I found a pile of a previous guest's clothes in the closet. The pillows were kinda strangely designed and I'm not sure if it was comfortable because I was exhausted, but slept well.
Pros: Beautiful and comfortable accommodations.
Cons: Nothing. It was very nice.

Pros: I recently stayed here during the 2016 U.S. National Figure Skating Championships which took place in St. Paul.
This hotel is really nice, tucked neatly right off of I-94. Was easy to find and is in a quiet buisness park just outside the Minneapolis Metro area.
Check in was seamless (I used e-check in) and they had everything ready to go. Really nice staff at check in.
The rooms are very nice. Modern decor and very clean. I stayed on the south facing side (718) which meant no noise from the Interstate. My room was the two room suite but is really more like 4 rooms with a sleeping area, common area with sofa, kitchenette/mini-bar, and bathroom.
Everything was really clean and comfortable. The bed was heaven. Having the microwave and mini-fridge came in handy. The bathroom very spacious...plenty of towels. Lots of closet space and the floor was really quiet...never heard a peep.
The breakfast was delicious as well. Ate there most mornings. Made to order omlettes and everything else.
Attending an event in St. Paul I had been concerned I was staying a bit far away but the travel time to St. Paul was only about 15-20 minutes...super fast. Just get on I-94 till you get there. The hotel is really only about 7-10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Very accessible.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The price was perfect as well. Really upscale stay without breaking the budget. All staff always with a smile and very friendly.
Pros: We stayed at this propertry a year or so ago for my sons wedding. This weekend was another event, the christening of his son at nearby
St. Anthony Village. We really appreciated the space, the managers reception, but especially the great breakfast.
Pros: The view from the seventh floor was wonderful, we were able to see the Minneapolis skyline and the Earle Brown Heritage Center. The trees were just starting to turn and it was simply beautiful.
The sound proofing was incredible. There were 200 hockey students staying the same weekend we were there, with some in the room next to us and we did not hear a peep from them when in our rooms. Could sometimes hear them when in the hallway, which didn't bother us at all, after all, they are kids.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh food, which could not have been easy as the hotel was booked, on top of those 200 hockey students.
Overall a great experience and we think we have found our "home" away from home when we go to Minneapolis to visit family.
When you stay at Embassy Suites Minneapolis - North, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Target Field and Basilica of Saint Mary. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Flying Spoons, which serves American cuisine. An indoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like sofa beds and refrigerators.
Pros: Room very comfortable. Temperature easy to regulate. Excellent breakfast offered. Food fresh, right temperature. Dinning room provides plenty of seating and comfortable. Nice to have a pool and exercise room available.
Cons: Difficult, but noise in pool area when large number using pool makes it less desirable to use.
Cons: Although we called to request it, room service did not come to change the bed or offer new towels in the entire three days we stayed there.
Pros: This hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: My room was not very clean. The counter had crumbs on it and the drawer in the fridge had what looked like wilted spinach in it. The carpet also needed to be vacuumed.
Pros: Staff was excellent!
Pros: Friendly staff very helpful
Cons: Everything was just how it should be
Pros: Comfort, well layed out room with a full kitchen, very clean.
Cons: Small bed, trouble getting very many tv channels.
Pros: Loved the location the staff was nice and very attentive to our needs
Pros: Room was good sized. Good breakfast too.
Cons: Credit card machine not working correctly at check-in
Pros: Staff friendly , clean room , very good breakfast, we've stayed at a few different Residence Inn's , they're pretty much our preferred place to stay, love the large rooms, and always been very satisfied.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Pros: separate bedroom was a great asset...great staff...wonderful breakfastmore quiet than most hotels
Pros: I liked the layout. It feels like your staying in an 1 bedroom apartment and not just a single bedroom.
Cons: I did not appreciate discovering a few false advertisements on their website. There was no stove in our units and the hotel did not have rollaway cots available due to their being a fire hazard. Very small, loud and busy pool.

Pros: I loved the modern look of the hotel. The bedding was of good quality, which is a huge plus for me! We had a beautiful view of the river from our room. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Xcel Energy Centre, which was our destination, so I liked the proximity of the hotel to the venue. Overall I was very happy with my one night stay.
Pros: We were given an updated room. While generally nice it was a bit cramped with two queen beds. The staff were friendly overall.
Cons: A bit cramped even though it was a updated room. While the staff was generally friendly, getting someone to answer a phone at the front desk and the Valet was slow and frustrating.
Pros: Very clean rooms and beds were comfortable. We had a newly renovated room, it was small but very nice with a lovely view of the river. Good location. Staff was helpful.
Cons: The cost of the room was more than I'd ever paid. I was also under the impression that the parking fee was included in the price of the room, which was not the case.

Cons: Pool not heated. Rudy's uses hand towels instead of of napkins. Ordered a $58 bottle of wine, young man brought it out opened; they need wine training. Hotel decor very dated.
Pros: The pool deck was dirty and smelled.
Cons: The hot tub water was brown.
Pros: Clean, good value for the money.
Cons: Bed pillows were way too thick. I ended up pulling a pile of clothes out of ny suitcase to use as a pillow instead!

Pros: Room met requirement but was small. Room was clean and ready for guests.
Cons: Front lobby was dated, needs update. Elevator very slow.. Breakfast met minimum requirements.
Pros: It was near a lot of nice things.
Cons: I got food poisoning from the complimentary breakfast.
Pros: Clean. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Need bigger coffee cups.
Pros: The rooms are clean and it seems to be newly remodeled.
Cons: I have always enjoyed the breakfast before. Did not care for the new pancake maker and prefer to have the waffle maker back. It seemed like they are were out of several things during breakfast.
Pros: Great bed and pillows! Slept wonderfully.
Cons: Bathroom was small but functional and clean. Showerhead was huge and water pressure was perfect.
Pros: Starbucks across the street along with many places to eat.
Cons: The room was a bit small.
Cons: Older rooms
Pros: The staff was friendly and the room appeared to be clean, small but satisfactory. The breakfast was very good too.
Cons: I needed a small meeting room as our room was too small. We ended up using the breakfast room. Not private but it worked out.
It was sort of dirty and the service was very limited. The front desk should have someone manning the desk. We stopped 3 times with not much success. The hotel needs someone at it! The bed was very comfortable.
Pros: It had a nice breakfast, and free wifi
Cons: There was never anyone at the front desk. The room smelled funny. When we opened the refrigerator to put some food in it, we almost threw up. It smelled like someone put some rotting meat in it. We refused to use it. The fan in the bathroom was broken.
Pros: Great beds. Walking distance to Starbucks and restaurants. Clean. A family hotel without all the pricy glitz that average folks can do without. Breakfast.
Cons: Our double-double room was pretty cramped. Elevator carpet needs to be replaced.

Pros: The Hotel was beautiful an very clean. Rooms were nice and comfortable, bed was very comfortable, nice shower.
We will definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like but a continental breakfast would have made the stay perfect!
Pros: Hotel felt very clean and modern; smelled good (that is a big thing for me :) I liked that it felt like it was tucked back away from the hustle and bustle
Cons: Nothing that can be changed. It is a bit close to the highway which makes it difficult to converse out on the patio but the scenery out there was absolutely beautiful.
Pros: everyone was helpful and friendly, room was very nice and clean. The hotel had a starbucks and food off the lobby, also free newspapers. Even though a lot of people were there for a college game the hotel was very quiet. I plan on staying there again.
Pros: Nice facilities and a nice helpful staff.
Cons: A little noisy. Our room faced the main highway. We heard sirens from emergency vehicles multiple times.
Pros: It's farily pedestrian friendly, though not for lovely walking. But the walking trails are well kept. The staff is great. Rooms are comfortable and neat. It's a handy in and out to the highway.
Cons: It's in a business park area. I prefer a neighborhood location, but it is very handy to highways. I had troble opening the window. I think I stayed there once in summer and the windows wouldn't open. This is a major drawback for me. The back entrance was very smoky. I mentioned this to the front desk and they said they were aware and were trying to find the smoker. (I met one man smoking there on my way out so hopefully he was the only one.) The rest of the hotel was Aprl fresh though.

Small, but nice pool and hot tub. Fitness center is roomy with many machines. Love the Keurig coffee/tea in the room and bed and pillows were comfortable!
Pros: Nice rooms and amenities.
Cons: Hotel was nice, but check-in is posted as 3pm and our room wasn't ready until 3:30pm and our itinerary said we had an adjustable bed, which we did not have.
Pros: Everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Very clean hotel!!!
Cons: Considering the cost of the rooms, I think they could throw in free breakfast. Most hotels do. Too much chlorine in the pool.
Pros: The hotel clerk was very helpful and understanding of our situation and helped us out with many things.
Cons: We booked the wrong hotel, but we called in advance before we booked it to see if it was the right hotel and the telemarketer said that it was. It actually wasn't the right hotel. It was 20 min out of our way.
Pros: Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The room - spacious with nice TV, and love the hardwood floors
The lobby area - beautiful architecture, comfy chairs
Cons: The staff - not very helpful, couldn't suggest places to go eat other than "go to Minneapolis - there's nothing good here"
Shower - very small
Location - granted it was a Thursday, but the hotel felt dead and there was no one at the bar, so staff from the front desk would walk over to the bar to serve people as they came up, and when we finally tried to go out every place nearby was closed or practically empty
Pros: Updated room
Free coffee and water
Cons: Parking not included
Pros: Charming Hotel!
Beautiful, romantic atmosphere. Multiple lounges with plenty of space to hang out. I had a king delux, with 2 beds, and 2 bathrooms! The beds were really comfortable, and the full kitchenette was much appreciated. The gym and pool were top notch (St Paul Athletic club) The free breakfast was great. Location is 4 blocks to Excel center or Science museum.
Cons: The window blinds were not enough to fully darken the room, I would have appreciated curtins too.
Pros: The old world feel about the place. Attentive staff. Exercise facilities. Reasonable cost.
Pros: I love the fact that you use an actual key to get in your room. I love how classy it is yet simple and humble. The view of downtown St Paul is amazing. you are right outside of the lightrail which is very convenient if ur flying or taking the bus. oh yeah and the man I brought. That was the best part!
Cons: The free breakfast was free for a reason. soft boiled eggs or boiled. The waffle tasted old. fruit was frozen and not fresh. So as it thawed it wilted.

Pros: Good location. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Complimentary happy hour.
Cons: Hot tub wasn't hot, even for bathtub standards. Our room was next to the elevators and it was loud because of the flimsy glass doors. Parking is $15 per vehicle per night which is a huge ripoff. Wifi isn't free either.
Pros: I like that there are water features, glass evelators, lots of plants, and a nice dining area. Also there is a nice workout room.
Cons: Issues checking in
Pros: Needed to be close to the hospital. Daughter was very ill. Didn't know how long we needed to stay. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Would recommend this establishment. Comfortable, clean rooms. Laundry available. Food was excellent. Thank you!
Pros: Once you check in, you may not want to leave until check out.
Everything under one roof is provided.
We were greeted in a friendly manner. Very nice atmosphere in the lobby and center courtyard.
While a free shuttle was advertised, it had been booked by a whole company for 2 hours in the early morning. a little frustrating, but the staff did suggest alternate transportation (Uber) and that did get me to where I needed to go.
The opportunity to eat a complimentary light snack and beverage was appreciated after the stressful I94 drive
Corky's Pub was good food at a fair price, fast and efficient wait staff.
Made to Order breakfast was wonderful from 6-9 am!
Cons: PARKING $$$
While absolutely no fault of the hotel, the construction mess around the Capitol is very stressful. People drive too fast and a bit rudely. Be prepared and drive attentively.
Not enough parking, It is quite expensive to park around this area.$15/day in the hotel lot for registered guests. Arrive early to get a spot.
Pros: We liked that it's close to the freeway -- easy on, easy off. And we really loved the breakfast in the morning -- so much better than a hotel's standard continental breakfast. Was a beautiful, luxurious little getaway for our little family (2 adults and a little baby).
Pros: We like to stay at the Embassy because we like the made to order breakfast and the managers reception. The rooms are large and comfortable. We will return next year!
Cons: My only complaint is that they give you only one wash cloth.
Pros: Staff was great. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was great too. Great value.
Pros: Very nice hotel, large rooms, fantastic included breakfast. The only downside was the highway traffic noise, which was inescapable. Request a room that doesn't face the freeway.

Pros: The room was very acomidating, peaceful, nice pool, friendly staff, and great location.
Cons: The ice machines were only at 1 end of the hallway, the soda machine only took cash, and the wallpaper in the hallways were peeling off looked very tacky. The room door you had to make sure you pushed it shut.
Pros: the breakfast was decent.
Cons: i was at centerstone for a 3 day business trip. wifi was spotty at best. the only thing that is worse than no internet connection is inconsistent internet connection. on two of the nights, the guests next door partied well into the night, waking me up. i'm not a light sleeper mind you but, screaming at the tv, screaming at each other and wrestling were enough to wake me up. this inconvenience was very upsetting considering i had an early appointment the first morning and a 6 a.m. flight to catch the last morning. on both nights (early mornings, really), i called the front desk to complain and they promised to send someone up to take care of it. the noise did not stop on either occasion. i understand that the hotel can't control all the guests but, a concerted effort to stop the disturbance would have been appreciated. i won't stay there again.

Pros: Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Wifi was good, and was always connected for working. Dining area was clean and had ample room along with charging stations at each table for phones.
Cons: Poor breakfast (microwaved eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy). No exercise room or amenities. Worst part: there were ants in the bathroom.
Pros: Location was great for our event, accommodations were very nice and clean.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Can't think of a thing!
Pros: The rooms were very nice. It was a good location and central to all of our needs. They have a beautiful commons area in the works, and I can't wait to go back and see the finished product.
Cons: Unsecured entrance that anyone could come in and out of the building without the use of their room card.
Cons: They are not done setting up the business. The sauna is under construction and they will have a breakfast once that is arranged for.
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Nice size room
Cons: We were in town for a funeral and were only in the room to sleep. The bed was too soft and loud.
Pros: Quiet, convenient location.
Cons: Room not ready when we arrived at 1 pm, told to come back a hour later. Came back one hour later and waited at the front desk for 25 minutes for the front desk clerk to come back. Sign on desk said, "helping a guest, be back soon" Really, leave the front desk unattended for that long!. Also, 4 person in room, 2 adults, 2 kids, only towels for 3. So much for their "Strive for 5*" motto on everyone's uniform. Left two messages on manager's voice mail, no call back.
Pros: Lot of space in the room
Cons: My sink get stopped up
Pros: I liked everything about everything was in the area that we needed and are family was also!
