All was wonderful, nice town!
Very clean and classy hotel. The room was comfy and great! Only complaint was we could hear the tv in the room next to us at 1130 pm.
After giving me the wrong room assignment, the staff gave me free Wi-Fi! However, the Wi-Fi only worked if I was standing in the corner of my room balancing on 1 foot while I held my iPad on top of my head.
The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. It's a nice hotel for couples who want a night of privacy. No refrigerator and the pool closes too early.
The staff were extremely friendly. They were very knowledgable of the area as well. We were in town for a function & not too familiar with the area but the staff made sure we knew where things were. Plus the hotel had asked if there was anything I needed before we came & the fridge was in the room Being a short stay ( 4 nights) I wasn't too concerned about the beds being made but fresh towels would have been nice. They gave us some when we saw them in the hall but only on 1 day the bed was made
I liked the room layout. The premium cost and then no perks. Water $4.00 a bottle, no fridge, dirty bathroom. We typically stay at Hiltons/Hamptons but they we're sold out. We drove out of way thinking that we were staying at a premium location but the pictures most of been taken 20 years ago. The place was ran down, maid service would wake you up and they lost our reservations and did not have our days in right from our booking with booking.com I would only stay here again if the price was stellar but this was one of the pricier hotels in the area.
Very nice room and smart layout. Hotel emailed me asking what I would like and the had my requests available. No bellman available during stay. Poor parking. Floor was designated as a dorm for college, very strange. Broken front automatic entrance door.
Room was very clean. Bed was so comfortable! The furniture looked brand new, very nice. Everything was good.
Serving staff Overall state of shabiness. The hotel appears to be a relatively new hotel, while exhibiting a total lack of care to the physical plant.
loved my stay, room was nice bathroom was beautiful. the bar in the lobby made some great drinks. room could have had a mini fridge.
I liked that it was quiet there, not a lot of other patrons. Whenever I spoke to staff about an issue they would always want to know my room number. Once they looked me up they would say..."Oh, you reservation is made through Expedia....No that service is not available". This happened on 3 different occasions. Patrons are treated differently depending on how they book their stay. The staff didn't even try to hide that the reason my requests were being denied was because of how I booked my 2 night stay.
Clean, nice staff, efficient
The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly. We brought our dog and I was told there would be a $50 charge for both nights. When I arrived I was told I had to also put down a $100 deposit which would be refunded. I was charged $211.48 in addition to the $50 and I am waiting for a call back. Also they advertise a suana but there isn't one.
Nothing The room was dirty and very old.
Large rooms - friendly staff tub showers
The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and a very nice eating area. The front desk staff, with a couple of exceptions, was very helpful with giving us recommendations and driving directions. The hotel was quite Maid Service was marginal. Twice she/he failed to leave us coffee pods. When they were left it would have been nice to have at least 2 per person.
The location was great for a conference in Wheaton. The staff was very professional and friendly. Overall the facility was clean and quite.Take the time to visit Napperville Settlement while you are there!
Breakfast was good for this type Hotel. Room did NOT match the pix on their website! It was like stepping back in to 1986, except they did have a granite countertop on the vanity. It is possible I got an old room. maybe some are updated, I'd ask when checking in! Worst was the broken arm on the Walmart quality desk chair, the gas lift strut was broken too, so sitting at my computer I was like a kid at the table, way low! Also had about 1/2" of foam left in the seat. Miserable and inexcusable!
Very comfortable, great breakfast & wonderful staff! Plumbing system from the 2nd floor was very noisy :-(.
The hotel was clean and nice for the money we paid to stay. The breakfast. The waffles taste like they added something to the batter or spoiled. Took one bite and almost vomited. The sausage taste like frozen patties from a box. Eggs were terrible. Orange juice and apple juice taste like it had no flavor. If you are going to this hotel, make sure it's not for the complimentary breakfast.
Price, location, staff Breakfast (pathetic compared to other Best Westerns), room size, bed size
The size of the rooms were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept fresh and made up quickly and inconspicuiosly size of bathroom counter
It was recently remodeled. It was very conveniently located to the conference we were attending. The staff was extremely accommodating and it was a great value for the money. The bed was very comfortable - not usual for most hotels in this price range. The bathtub/shower was not remodeled but clean and adequate. The fridge was a little noisy but tolerable.
No elevator service for entire stay our room was on 3rd floor
Very clean. Professional and friendly staff. Easily accessible.
I liked the entire stay very much. The staff was friendly (even remembering the last time we visited). The staff made extra efforts to accommodate our schedule to make our room up at a time convent to us. ALL staff, from front desk to restaurant staff to housekeeping were cognizant of us enjoying our stay and were very responsive to our schedule as to not to in any way inconvenience us.
My husband and I stayed at the Marriott while attending a wedding in Downer's Grove. We stayed here because it was part of the hotel block that the couple booked for out of town guests and we received an excellent rate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Marriott and will likely stay there again if ever in Downer's Grove. In fact, we were married 3 months ago and honeymooned in Aruba at the Hyatt. We thought that the rooms at this Marriott were much nicer than our room at the Hyatt, which is saying something as we stayed at one of the "premier Hyatt facilities". Given our great experience at this Marriott, I think the Marriott will be our "go-to" hotel from here on out when we travel. In addition to the beautiful rooms - we were impressed by the hotel staff and their willingness to accommodate whatever needs we might have. We showed up at the hotel at 9am after taking a very early flight from Philly, and they were willing to check us into our room at that time (incredible!) so that we could get a little rest in before the wedding. When we checked out the next day at noon, we asked if we could stay a little while at the pool because our flight was not scheduled until later in the evening. Again they were incredibly accommodating giving us an extra hotel key so that we could have full access of the pool and fitness center facilities. We definitely look forward to returning to other Marriotts in the future and you have turned these typical Hyatt guests into Marriott people! Thanks Marriott Downers Grove The pool facilities were wonderful, but we did notice that the pool floor (bottom of the pool inside) could use some work. They might have been looking into working on that as some construction guys were talking around the pool when we entered for some R&R before our flight.
Our room was comfortable and it smelled good! Breakfast is big and good. Staff was very nice. There were a couple amenities advertised that were not actually available. There is not a hot tub. It turned out to be kind of a party hotel so it was load and smelly in the hallway.
Stayed for the grand opening weekend. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Beautiful lobby and courtyard. The price was excellent and was the first to enjoy the room. Located next to shopping outlet. Would definitely stay again for my next Chicago visit.
The room was spacious. The breakfast was pretty good. The happy hour was OK. Lots of family with kids. Occasionally it would get a little load night. Needs more parking. The workout room was one bike, one ellipitcal, and one treadmill.
Room was musty and damp. Not very clean. Breakfast was pretty mediocre and coffee was awful.
The amenities were excellent. Wonderful free breakfast, great coffee, indoor pool, awesome commons areas to have guests over, beautiful courtyard. Big room with porch. We almost cancelled due to other bad reviews but we're very happy with our room and the hotel in general. The staff was very nice and although we did have an issue with the AC, they got it right ASAP and everything went well. WILL stay again when visiting family in the area.. Nice place to have people come meet u at to visit.
Price. Lots of stuff for the price -clean rm, pool, breakfast, workout rm. But just know that all that stuff is at the very basic level, not fancy by any means. Good for a family on a budget - which seem to be the majority of the guests. Overall dated feel. Once was nice, but feels weathered as of today. Tub didn't drain well. Loud ac unit in room. Cleaning product smell in halls and around lobby entrance. Staff does a good job if trying to keep it in good form.
Check in was friendly. We booked at Chicago Club Inn because it advertised a bar. Once we got there, no bar. The place needed vacuumed really bad.
Nice location, friendly staff, welcoming lobby, free breakfast. We have stayed at several Country Inn & Suites and this was the first time we have not had an enjoyable experience. The lobby was welcoming, with friendly staff and signature fresh cookies. However, the rooms are in major need of renovations. Our bathroom was horrible. There had been water damage, the door would not close no matter how hard we pushed it (I think because of the damage to the floor and door jamb) so no privacy when using the toilet or showering. The tub itself looked old and the enamel coating on the bottom was chipping. Upon trying to take a shower, I noticed a weird dark spot on the white shower curtain (fabric/cloth type, not plastic/vinyl. After looking closer and calling my husband in, we discovered our worst fear--feces. Beyond disgusted, we politely called the front desk and asked that they send someone up to swap it out with a new clean one. They were prompt and attentive, but did not ask if we wanted to switch rooms or offer any type of consolation for the situation. I wouldn't even expect this type of oversight for an economy/budget motel, let alone a $100+ hotel & suites establishment. My Country Inn experience has been tainted and unfortunately, I do not think we will take the chance spending our money on this chain again.
- Good value - Good housekeeping - Friendly staff - Includes breakfast and wifi - Adequate sized rooms and furnishings - Dated materials and finishes - Breakfast ingredient quality and coffee are subpar - Maintenance of rooms a little lacking (non-working door deadbolt, caulking in bathroom moldy or missing, linens had holes in them, just feels worn and tired)
Nice place to stay. Gave kids a chance to swim. Large variety for breakfast. Beware of the entrapment tactic in the rooms. Didn't realize water was not complimentary until husband already had a bottle. Wondering if the spare pillows cost as well. The bed was hard and pillows were too soft.
Cleanliness, nice tv, bathroom, bed, refrigerator, etc
Staff members were great Disclaimer: I am a neat freak... but the wipeable surfaces could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly, and the paper materials were all pretty ratty (I know; who cares, right? And I'm all for being green--but it wouldn't cost that many trees to replace them once in a blue moon). More importantly, beds were comfortable and spotless.
Overall the stay was fine except for the loud cleaning staff. When cleaning a room they would allow the door to slam close anytime they would walk in or out. This happened all afternoon by multiple staff in every room. I suggest investing in a doorstop for each person to use to prop open the door of the room they're cleaning so the doors won't need to be open/closed multiple times.
Front desk mgr was very friendly and fun. Room was clean, nice comfy bed. All was good.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were in a non smoking floor of the hotel, yet there were several smokers on the floor. We had to pass them every time we went to the elevator.
The hotel was an older Hampton Inn, but it was clean. The TV is on the smaller side, but acceptable. My wife and I checked in and went to the room. It was nice and clean, we watched a little TV and enjoyed the room until it was time for bed. The next morning, the breakfast was mediocre. The bed in our room was horrible. The mattress was old, very thin and not comfortable at all. While my wife tried to sleep in the bed, I couldn't. I ended up sleeping sitting up on the sofa. I have never experienced a bad night in a Hampton Inn like I did in this hotel.
When I checked in the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rating for the hotel that I saw was 3 out of 5 stars so I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again. The bed was a bit hard for my taste but the pillows and blankets made up for it.
Great breakfast and nightly reception. Also, the room size was fabulous. I was very happy with the quality as well. Very nice properlty.
Everything!! It was clean, the staff was friendly, And the food was amazing! N/a
Room very clean and has everything you could need.
Quality of room Staff Breakfast No blankets for pullout
The room functionality/design was quite possibly the best I've EVER been at. Tons of desktop space, huge refrig, space in the kitchen, big bathroom, etc. It was either new or at least appeared new. Overall the room was very, very clean. However, there were some ants near the shower. Also, the internet was slow during certain times of the day.
Full breakfast was great (especially the individually-made omelets on weekdays); the room was very comfortable and had lots of storage spaces
The rooms were well laid out and the shower was fantastic! The breakfast had good selection. There was hair under the pillowcase in the spare pillow and no extra blanket. The heat and air really worked well in the living space but didn't affect the bedroom unless you left the bedroom door open, which is annoying with kids.
Staff I called twice to confirm my reservation the night before and to confirm that they had a swimming pool and if THE POOL WAS IN WORKING ORDER. Yes, to both, yet when we got there with the kids the pool was closed due to repairs, had been closed.

The hotel was quiet, clean and had everything that I needed. I did like the snacks in the evening a lot. The breakfast food tasted good and there was a nice variety to choose from. Can't think of anything bad. The only thing that could be improved on is the time that breakfast starts. It would be a bit better if it started at 6 am vs 6:30 am. This is just an improvement opportunity and did not factor into my scores above.

Everything about the room No
WE NEEDED A ROOM NEAR WHEATON. WE FOUND THIS MOTEL ON THE INTERNET. WE WERE HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING.
I did not stay and had the hotel cancel the reservation. Please return my money
The high firm beds. Prepay ahead. No other motel chains have ever required prepay. I have always paid at the end of my stay never at the beginning.
The room was clean and well appointed. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with all request and questions.
It was nice and being off a busy highway it was pretty quiet! The check out time is noon so we didn't feel rushed in the morning. There were only 2 towels in the room. Could of used a couple more. There is no elevator so I'm glad the weather was nice when we were there.
The pay movies Terrible customer service, they ran out of towels and linen. How do you run out of towels and linen when you run a hotel??? There are much better options in the area, it's not worth the savings.
The hotel is only pet freindly under their terms. You are discouaged from leaving you pet unattended in the room.
Clean. Recently renovated. Kind staff. Tiny/hot workout room. Good internet/downloaded a lot of work files easily. No pool. Windows open to exterior/fresh air. Continuous fan is an option on heating/ac unit.
The day and night clerks at the front desk were both helpful, efficient and friendly.
I have stayed at this hotel many times on business. It has excellent rooms and amenities within the rooms - refrigerator, microwave, DVD player, etc. It is luxurious for the price and the best Best Western I have stayed at. It is a great relatively inexpensive place to stay near Oak Brook IL This hotel has half-basement rooms (which I had on this stay). While the room was huge, it did not have a chair or love seat. The desk chair was not adjustable nor was it comfortable.
Convenient to downtown Naperville. Close to restaurants: Rock Bottom Brewery, CA Pizza Kitchen, Starbucks, McDonald's and others Convenient to theater, bowiling If you forgot something target is nearby Quiet-- DId not hear road traffic from the room nor did you hear people outside your room. We did bring a noise machine though so that may account for that Wish breakfast had been free Wish I had my latex foam pillow from home. Hotel pillows are never any good
The bedding is outstanding! The staff is helpful and the accomodations ideal for our needs while visiting family in the area.
Nice newer facility with great parking and amenities. Breakfast was not free.
Great facilities, nice staf, nice location For the price in the suburbs I come to expect complimentary breakfast, not for a Hilton company though. Also, overall it was clean except for the big toe nail I found. Guess the vacuum isn't able to go up against the wall.
EZ check-in and gracious hoists. However, I think I lost a necklace in my room, a crucifix that I'm very attached to. Has it been turned in, or is it under the bed??
Comfortable beds, spacious room, nice staff. Hallways needed a bit more vacuuming, hard to keep up with the ice melt.
It was really easy to find right off the high way. Clean, spacious rooms, great for the money. Nice that there is food right close by and outlet mall not far either! The shower pressure was really low. Had a hard time rinsing out my hair. And walls are thin, but nothing a little sound machine on my phone couldn't take care of. But would have been more annoying, had we been staying more then one quick night.
