When I wanted to amend my booking for single night it was a struggle. Intially iam told they charge me more I agreed but later on they told me for single night room is not available hence I had cancel my booking and I had search for a room in the last minute
Polite receptionist, clean/well equiped room, great breakfast! Only one, my husband went to the bar and had a pint, he had to give it back cos he said it tasted of detergent, the bar tender was very polite and obliged with another pint.
Good clean and comfortable hotel with polite and helpfull staff. None
Service was really good and very friendly.
The ease of access to the city centre and main attractions
Easy to find. Good location. Value for money. Nice friendly staff. Very accomodating. Ideal place for a city break for those on a budget or for a night out. There were cobwebs in the room.
relaxing,friendly walks along the harbour
Quietness - very helpful reception staff Non-English speaking service staff - it is a hotel after all!
very quiet, clean and friendly staff. good breakfast was not included in the price. The extra was too expensive. Most Hotel offers good choice of breakfast and sometimes one evening meal. Well that is in Ireland. But the hotel was not too far from main centre so we found good places. We have even found, offered a big bowl of porridge for only 1.99 £!
staff helpfull with wheelchair mother and gave her tea coffee when we were out. Thanks nothing got what i paid for
Location mainly plus the bonus of free parking.
Arrived at 4:00am, check-in was aranged and I was expected ! Beakfast after 9:00am was not possible
Good location, reasonable rate, comfortable and clean. TV broken
It was central to everything that we needed. Good value for the money we paid.
Too much smoking. Limited bar area.
the staff were excellent, and the gardens pretty, we were not expecting it to be as pleasant as it was, a nice surprise and close to the city. would stay again. hotel needs a bit of tlc found shower difficult at first but fine when mastered.
Breakfast. The staff at breakfast were welcoming, polite and could not do enough for you, The welcome, a receptionist who did not talk to you and when you asked about breakfast were pointed to a door and told "there". Asked the time and then told us! Hotel needs to be updated as very old and dated.
Clean , friendly staff. needs new decor very old fashioned.
friendly staff, nice bar neighbourhood apparently in decline, WiFi only in some areas of the hotel
we fet very comfortable and the late check out was an added bonus
Spacious room, large parking space , fine stay
the staff are lovely very helpful an friendly we will defo stay again
Convienient and easy to reach liverpool city center surrounding areas n/A
Access to the Hotel was difficult to obtain due to roadworks hopefully this will improve. There doesn't apper to be access from the dual carriageway if you are heading towards Liverpool City Centre.
Breakfast was delicious Leak in ceiling resulting in wet bed
Excellent breakfast; helpful breakfast room staff good location for city centre Required payment at check-in, but couldn't accept cc initially
The friendliness and helpful attitude of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. A bit too much furniture in the room, the twin was a bit cosy for two people.
Breakfast was good, just spoilt a little, by the cramped room. Too many tables and chairs squeezed into the room, and the servery, at busy times very cramped. Our room was "down the street" from the checking in desk, and a trip to breakfast was open to the weather. If there is heavy rain, you get wet. Non of which is mentioned on the web site. Biggest irritation however was that our room (90) has a bathroom, sorry Bathwardrobe of just 28inches deep. It was impossible to use the wc at times comfortably and dry oneself having used the shower. For a price of £105 our cost for Saturday night, is a joke. Quite disgraceful and misleading. Glass shelf here not useable due to dodgy workmanship, also a largegap between those wardrobe style doors. Nothing we saw here should be described as "Executive". Male staff on the desk could not be bothered to greet customers coming from the cold, to get to breakfast
Staff v good, all rooms & corridoors v clean, well appointed, breakfast 1st class Unfortunate drain smell in room on 1st night but moved and very apologetic
The bar area and lounges were very nicely decorated and pleasant. The all inclusive breakfast was excellent. The room was poor, There was a light missing, decoration overall was poor and we thought the price was excessive at £89.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean with nice touches. Excellent breakfast. In nice street but generally run-down area.
Very clean and new, cheerful helpful staff. Large clean bathroom, great shower.Great breakfast. Bedroom was a little small.
Staff were fab and the room adequately met our needs. The area the hotel is situated in is awful - we actually did not want to go out of the hotel because it was so rough.
I heard neighbors conversation in my room in early morning.but breakfast is good.
Big rooms, big beds, good access to motorways
the comfort relaxing atmosphere friendly helpfull staff and good food value
staff were really good anddid alot for us yes when we got back to hotel at about 1.00am the electrices kept blowing fuse there was a leak up above and the bed was wet through the staff got us in to another room they were very good thank you
Easy to locate, conveniently situated, know what to expect form a premier inn, loevly location and outlook from the hotel windows, good that the windows could be opened to allow fresh air into the room No cleaning done overnight so floor in breakfast room was dirty, bar staff seemed preoccupied at times and service was slow, husband left standing at the bar for over 5 minutes once his drinks order had been taken, and the member of staff who had served him was standing at the end of the bar talking
Very efficient & quick check-in; very friendly & helpful waitress at breakfast; room had all features needed! Not bad, but 1 of the beds a bit squashed for access; would have likesd a snack vending machine
Its a friendly good value hotel in a nice quiet area. I stayed with my wife and two sons on a weekend break and attend a match in anfield. We knew prior that there would be soccer supporters there but not of the noisey variety and that there would be no difficulty getting a good nights sleep. Just a little too far from city center
Family atmosphere,staff were very. frendly
Nice place and staff No air freshner in toilet and cleaning product (shower gel/shampoo/tooth paste)
It was located very close to family friends who I was visiting, easy car parking. city centre accessible. the sound proofing on the rooms was not as robust as I would have expected.
The restaurant was very good as was the bar. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The first room had an 'offensive' smell coming from the bathroom. The second room was better but there were no cvlosers on the3 doors which meant they slammed on closing (also in the corridor). The stairs next to our room led to the bar and this meant that it was very noisy during the night. sleep was very difficult. The floors in the corridor were also very noisy. Having stayed in premier inns around the country this one was a disappoinment.
Restaurant was full on the evening due to prior booking, bar food available but for proper meal had to go outside the hotel
We had the best of meals on Friday 19th Nov, beautifully served and presented and memorable and a good price. Breakfast also very civilised. The location was unexpectedly beautiful and the Gormley beach art breathtaking, making for a good walking experience after breakfast each day. We also enjoyed the excellent public transport system, we used the bus and the train, to get into the city centre. The shower was not to a standard that I would have liked, very meanflow and difficult to regulate! Saturday night in the hotel ws disapppointing and we would have enjoyed bar food availability to have gone on a to 8oc. After a very bust sightseeing day we just wanted simple food and relaxation.
Location of hotel facilities and friendliness of staff Service slow at times on reception took long time to check on as result
Decor and ambiance in public rooms. Approachable but reasonably discreet staff. Location: Liverpool accessible by rain, and coast ("Iron Men") across the road. Personally found the bed not particularly, but wife disagreed!
Excellent staff, very helpful, convenient, comfortable, very good food with good service. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing at all.
It is beside a lake and near the sea. There are some pleasant walks nearby.
Good room size and very clean (Big plus for us). Had problems with the tv and could not find instructions. No sky to watch football. No fried eggs available only scrambled (this may have been available on request but didnt have time to find out)
Hotel is ok, certainly better than it was a few years back. Buffet breakfast is ok, but some of us prefer cooked to order; fried eggs not offered at all!
Excellent value for money, very clean, breakfast really good.
friendly, helpful staff
Nice, clean and friendly hotel
Plane was late and waited up for me and was very pleasnt
Quiet hotel, carefull staff,
This is a small place run by competent and friendly staff who provide excellent information for visitors to Liverpool. It doesn't have an attractive facade but don't be deceived by that.
Superfriendly staff, nice&clean rooms, breakfast included, definitely freat value for money
Small and friendly family run hotel. Basic with improvements been made all the time. Really comfy bed and fab fluffy duvet. Rooms are great, have everything you need, but would benefit from a little more decor.
Room was well decorated and staff were very helpful and friendly.
fantastic quality/price! is not different from Ibis or similar budget chains, but costs much less, has a parking, some breakfast at no additional charges and is rather conveniently located if you travel by car
The owner was really helpful, the rooms were very spacious, nice decor, clean and comfortable. Lovely room just off reception where we could make our own breakfast, all supplied by the hotel. would definitley recommend It's situated on a busy road, not much in the area, but it's on a regular bus route into the city centre, and taxis are only about £5
Friendly and very helpful staff. The room smelt of smoking by previous guests.
