The hotel is in great proximity to local public transportation. The hotel itself is a great value and very clean.
The area is a bit schetchy. I would not suggest this location if you wished to be in walking distance from attractions.
Scammy hotel. Inconsiderate management
Pool not open. They charge for anything and everything, making it feel like Vegas. Difficult to park, deal with mgmt and to utilize hotel features. Pool was closed every time we tried to use it. On paper this hotel looks like a good choice but in reality it is like a cheap motel.
Clean, spacious room. Nice little courtyard, pool area was nice as well. Conveniently located near some great food options, a little walk or drive will get you to nearby entertainment options. I would stay here again.
Would be nice if parking was included, but like most places in big cities it was an extra $25, but the parking is gated and ensures your car is safe.
The staff was very friendly and courteous, the free breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were kept clean and comfortable. The courtyard is a great place to sit quietly and read a book when you're not out and about.
The location wasn't amazing and the parking was not free (but then again good luck finding free parking anywhere in LA).
Nice place and location. Good price. Had ants.
Everything but ants.
Horrible stay, no respect for customers
Tried to turn up thermostat but was instructed to plug in small space heater. In a very shady part of town. Problems with the electrical, couldn't run space heater and oscillating fan at the same time. Also while we were there the hotel was tearing up all the old carpet and the smell was horrible. the mattress was also very hard, woke up to the workers each morning hammering and banging away bright and early.
Great deal. Much better than expected. Would stay again for future visits.
Close to Metro
It was good service overall and close to the metro and bus lines so getting places was easy and made it nice. The area of town though is not very pretty but it's hollywood
-Proximity to Sunset Blvd., stores, Citywalk. -Friendly staff.
-Overnight Parking was not listed before purchase & super expensive -- $25 per night! -The floors were dirty when we got into room. -The mini refrigerator was not on when we got to the room. -Air conditioning vents had funky smell. -Vending machines had few options & was broken.
This hotel is garbage. We were there for about 40 min at 1030pm.we were laughing but all of a sudden a man came to the door with his hand in a big of chips(looking unprofessional) and said he was from the front desk.. He then proceeded to tell us the next room couldn't sleep. Fine. We kept it down. The next night our toilet flushes for 3 hours and we couldn't sleep... Their solution was to SHUT OFF THE TOILET COMPLETETLY. THIS WAS 337AM.
My boyfriend had to use the lobby bathroom at 4am.then the asked f we wanted to switch rooms at that time of the night. But I had finally fallen asleep. So he obviously refused. Because it was after 4am,. The next morning we argued with the manager.... She kept us waiting then asked what we wanted. I wanted our parking comped.... She gave us 2 nights.... Highly disappointing considering the toilet flooded our bathroom and our belongings got soaked. DO NOT STAY HERE. JUST A SCAM. NO HOSPITALITY!!!!, argued with manager for a while before Giving up. She was nice but clearly full of horse shit. She pissed us off alot and almost ruined out trip. Try having your stuff soaked in toilet water at 4am and being told "sorry we will make sure it won't happen to the next person" these people need a refresher course..... I time.
Nice Amenities - staff/location need help
Lots of places on site to spend time. Courtyard, pool area, 3rd floor patio, and dining area. If we had planned to spend more time at the hotel. You can see there has been an effort for upgrading the rooms with higher end finishes. The breakfast was great, lots of choices with omlets to order. Close to subway to take to Universal and Hollywood.
The woman at the check in counter was snobby. And the internet went down when i was checking in and i had to wait 30 mins to complete. They did give us the key to the room while we waited. $20 a night to park!!! The area outside doesnt look good for family.
