Our room was clean and recently remodeled. The front desk staff was very helpful. The shuttle bus that runs from the hotel to the casino area only makes one stop - The Tropicana. It was a long walk from the their to our desired casino (Caesars). It would be nice if the bus made multiple stops especially at night for pick-up. We wound up having to use taxi's frequently. The cost is about $25 each way from the hotel to the strip.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was a TV, microwave, small refrigirator and coffee maker. We had a pleasant view of Atlantic City from our window. Beds were comfortable, AC worked well and everuything in the bathroom was fine. Complimentary breafast was great: coffee, juce, bagels, scrambled eggs, fruits, cereal, yogurt.Breakfaast was from 6 to 10, we took some food to room for our child. It took about 10-15 minutes to get to AC. We enjoyed our stay. Recommended. It was all good.
The price of the hotel is good in comparison,.... But I'd much rather sleep in our car the next time or on the side of the street. horrible! In all fairness, we saw their breakfast and It was good though. The sheets were so uncomfortable and rough, I had trouble sleeping.... My friend's room had blood on their sheets they had never slept on. There was an inch of dust everywhere. It was not uncommon to find small insects everywhere. Generally I felt disgusted just walking anywhere in the room. I saw the recommendations for this hotel, and I must say that most must be really old, or done by the hotel staff. There is no chance of recommending this hotel, unless you do it as a cruel joke.
It was close to the Boardwalk and had a free shuttle. The rooms were small and old and not very clean. The manager was okey once we had to yell as they put us in the worst room in the whole place. THe second room we got was okey but not much better. I would not stay there again.
Iit was wonderful! 4 miles from the atlantic city area. rRoom was clean and big and the breakfast was good as well. If the shuttle would have gone to the Showboat end of the strip, we would have utilized it.. We ended up driving and parking...not a deal breaker.. but.. the shuttle would have been great
The bed was comfortable. The price was good with breakfast included. I didn't like the mold above the door in the bathroom
straight drive to casino, low cost for over night stay, clean and breakfast
Quiet room, good facilities, easy parking. A bit hard to find with that address, but GPS coordinates worked. Not much in the way of food around.
Friendly Staff, clean room, great price. Close enough to Atlantic City to be there in a few minutes but far enough away to avoid the hassle and traffic. I thought it would have a pool but it didn't. However, it is right on the bay with windsurfing right out back.
The size of the room itself and bathroom. Friendly staff My only complaint is that our bathroom had no vent in it to suck out humidity.
Lewis at the front desk was very helpful and friendly (great customer service skills) n/A
Shuttle service to another wedding venue was great. Driver was respectful, buses were well stocked, great experience. The clerk at the front-desk did not know what she was doing. She took my debit card as a deposit. OK I can deal with that, but when we checked out, she must of rang it twice b/c when my wife I checked our bank card, there was a hold of $100. Being budget conscience, that $100 was unaccounted for. When I called and asked for clarification i was told that it could take 3-5 business days to clear.
Older more mature, Valentine's dinner (food good) No refrigerator in room. Asked them. They brought old, beat up frig. Then found 10 dollar fee on my bill. Price fixed Valentine's Day dinner. Service awful. Waited for water for 20 mins. Appetizer almost an hour. Then when I mentioned it to them they apologized and then brought out main course while still eating appetizer. For a 150 dinner that's unacceptable. So service/ bell personnel around. No one helped us with our luggage.
I asked per my reservation for two beds and upon arrival I was given the wrong room. The person at the counter was told of the error then made the mistake again. Eventually I just switched with another couple I knew were staying there.
Beautiful rooms gorgeous hotel and very pleasant staff
Friendly staff and good service Bathrooms need to be updated
clean rooms very nice but set up was strange
Good location. Nice setting. 3 weddings. Restaurants and bar facilities limited due to wedding guests. Noise until 2 am from wedding guests.
we loved the nostalgic indoor pool, and family recreation room. breakfast buffet was well organized, hot, and had plenty of choices for all. i think that the breakfast could have been included for the price, but it would not stop us from staying there again.
Character of place Not much
The bed was comfortable. Rooms were very outdated, had a mildew smell, bathroom was outdated and do not like liquid soap, shampoo etc on the wall where you can not even see it.
Location was perfect for my trip. Grounds looked great! Rooms need to be renovated. Rooms need to be renovated.
Staff was great. Very clean. Food and cocktail service was also excellent no complaints
Good place to stay with out breaking the bank I could hear the people next door
The room and Continental breakfast Elevators not working properly
The breakfast was terrible and the wifi sucked
This hotel was poor at best. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms and in the hallway and all the other guests do not care if they are loud or if you have to get up early for what you are in NJ to do. This location is super close to Atlantic City so if that is what you are in the area for and you don't care about anything else in a hotel then book this hotel. If you actually want to sleep at some point in the night or you are not here to go to Atlantic City, find another hotel.
Continental Breakfast was good. It's not for allergic people, a lot of tenants with pets.
the staff were very nice and attentive. We didnt have heat in my room and they switched it to another. The only thing the room was smoked filled for a non smoking room. Usually only 1 elevator worked and there was a wait but if we needed anything for the room, the staff would bring it over right away.
We asked two times at night to get additional towels but nobody paied attention to us. Not recommended at all.
Staff was helpful. And the hotel was close enough to the boardwalk, so very convenient. A plus, free wifi, versus a larger hotel that charged a fee for internet. The shower did not have a liner. But the overall the room was clean.
I loved it me and my bestie would go back again. Nothing.
Room seemed clean... The commute was very convenient to the city While sleeping when to roll over and spotted a bug on thepillow case!!!! Nd I was drunk soy mouth was open LOL! Needless to say prolly won't return there
Friendly staff Tired facility. Slow sink drain, slow toilet flush, disconnected alarm clock with no available outlet, mediocre breakfast, lousy pillows, sagging mattress. It was good for the price we got, $55 per night, but otherwise steer clear.
AREA, STAFF NO MORE HOT BREAKFAST
Kim at the front desk was very accommodating as we were a couple hours early for check in but she made sure to let me know to call before checking in to see that it was possible. Sure enough the room was ready and we were able to enjoy the hotel and the room was very clean and neat and we enjoyed our stay, we will definitely be coming back again!!!
My stay was comfortable, I would definitely stay here again. Need more cable stations and the pillows need to be replaced.
The staff was super nice, and all accommodations where quick and easy. Nothing the hotel could control however our neighbors where pretty loud and woke us up a few times. Its pretty easy to hear through the walls.
The room was clean. A little dated but clean and comfortable. Free breakfast in the am is very convenient. Location is good. Good pizza place right down the road called "Carluccio's Coal fired pizza".
Nice to have full breakfast offered in hotel included in price with young kids. The room looked to have had possible water damage in the past?
Everyone was so friendly, from the front desk, the housekeeping staff to the breakfast personnel. Our room was clean, breakfast was perfect for me and my daughter, so all was good. To be honest, it was perfect for our quick weekend trip. Nothing negative to say and I would stay again.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful Cleanliness of room and all areas. Great breakfast. All aspects top notch.... Nothing. All was great!!!!
Breakfast, coffee offered 24 hours. They gave me a room on the first floor. Noisy and uncomfortable. The corridor smelt like cigarette smoke.
The staff was very friendly. The location, right off of the Garden State Parkway, was extremely convenient. If you are trying to go to Atlantic City, this is definitely the top selling point of the hotel. To stay this close to Atlantic City for under a 100 dollars on a Friday night was a great deal (it would have been closer to 200 a night in AC for a comparable hotel). Additionally, the free breakfast was well maintained and definitely had enough variety. The pool area was very nice and had a lifeguard on duty. There was also a small playground area and a diner next store. When you think Days Hotel, you should think Holiday Inn Express. I was a little surprised that the hotel is rated as three stars on Kayak. While everything seemed to be extremely well maintained, a lot of the facilities looked older - for example, the elevators, desk in the room, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but only if I can get a good rate.
Extremely friendly staff. Great value with the free breakfast. Centrally located near numerous golf courses.
Location, staff, breakfast nothing in particular

stayed several times and we actually cook our dinners there ..it's just perfect
Location The site was undergoing renovations. This was not communicated on the website. The gym was closed. The breakfast was served in a converted suite. We feel some level of refund should be provided.
When I arrived at 5:30 the room was not ready and as well as the people in front of me in line. The front desk staff said they were behind. after voicing my disappoint they switched my room to a ready room. The hotel should be better prepared.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept on.
We fell in love with the room, for what we paid we were expecting something different. However we absolutely loved staying there, we enjoyed it very much. Will be coming back again

Bedding was very comfortable... kitchenette & refrigerator were very clean. We actually added an extra day to our stay. The entries and exits to the parking areas off the main street were tight. They need to be wider two cars passing each other entering and exiting.
Nice updated rooms (loved the kitchen with modern appliances) especially for the area. Did not receive any room service during my stay. Had to call to get clean towels.
I loved everything about the room. Staff was friendly. Complementary breakfast was good. Location was great, 15 mins from AC boardwalk. The jets in the bathtub didn't work. The jacuzzi in hotel was cold. Room was muggy when we first checked in but after we turned on air conditioning it was fine.
The room & free breakfast! The Pool/Jacuzzi & parking at night. So my cousin & i wanted to go swimming but when we got there, something was off. We got saw the pool and it was completely green. So green that you couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. It totally looked like swamp water, so I turn to the left and there was the jacuzzi. It was the same color and the bubbles did not make it better. And then it didn't help that the amount of chlorine that was in that pool and jacuzzi just burned our eyes so bad that we just had to leave the room. So I proceeded to go to the front desk and ask why was the pool green? The manager at the front desk said "it's because a lot of people been in the pool" like what? I've been in plenty public pools & they have been as clear as can be, so that was a lie. So my next question was how often do you change the water in the pool? He goes on to say once a month. When he said that I knew I was not going natural because it was filthy. Then he tried to clear it up and saying they change some water weekly and add more chlorine. So it kind of made it seem like he was saying chlorine what's the answer to the swamp water but we all know that insane. Moving on now the parking at night was not a good situation. We went to AC and came back around 2 a.m. and there was no parking at all. We had the end up parking in a handicap parking spot. How do you not have enough parking for all your guest. Not a good look.
Close to AC where we were headed for a show. It was all good. Bed/bath clean. Hotel is transitioning and doing well with it. We did not discover aby inconvenience Only off thing, and it's not really a bad thing, but carpets appeared to need replacing. They were clean, but seemed older/worn.
We had stayed at a different hotel down the street previously and had a terrible experience, so Clarion Inn was a breath of fresh air. Nothing fancy here, but the rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, and the lobby is welcoming.
The hotel was quiet and family oriented. The staff was attentive and very pleasant especially the receptionists. This was the only hotel in the area that did not have horrible online reviews and it certainly lived up to the good ones it received. It is close to Stockton College and easy to get to. Plan to stay here again.
what i like about the stay was that is was clean and the satff were friendly....
the jittered tub ,don't work
Very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and professional.
Sandra at the desk was terrific and very very friengly!!
paying extra for a 3 bed suite and having to pay extra for our third person.
Very nice staff. Very nice remodeled, modern rooms. Comfortable beds with flat screen tv. My girls loved the pool. We would surely stay there again. Room service was through neighboring restaurant/bar which was nice.
The staff was very friendly and the beds were very very comfy! Breakfast was nice I loved the muffins the pool was also nice I would definitely come back the casino is not too far because I drive Just the toilet seat was a lil chipped but not a big deal
I needed an affordable place to spend a night near Atlantic City. This fit the bill perfectly. Clean, friendly, not too far out of town. I didn't have the time to try the pool or sample the breakfast. If I had to find something to complain about, I'd say that the pool could be open later and the breakfast could start earlier, especially on the weekend.
I've stayed here on multiple occasions. I love that it's centrally located, has a pool, and that breakfast is included. They are also pet friendly and the rooms are a good size (a big plus when traveling with small children). The staff is also friendly. During this last visit, I noticed several issues and wonder if this is a sign of a decline in the quality of this hotel. Our room was dirty as though housekeeping was doing the bare minimum: sticky carpet, food under the furniture, an abandoned toy under the bed skirt, hair on the shower curtain, dust in the corners. Breakfast was meh (waffles were the best part, other days they had two types of eggs with pork and no alternative for non-pork eaters) and we had to wipe down our table before eating because no one was taking care of that. To make matters worse, I was charged twice for my stay. I really hope that this was just a rough patch and they turn it around.
the prrice arrived at 2:30 PM and wasn't permitted in the room until 3PM, even though the room was ready. (really sucked) we had a family of 7 next door to us(rm 115 to be exact) that was made for 4 people. Had 3 guys right above us that were blaring music and screwing 1 girl. that sounded wonderful.
It was nice and quite and staffe was nice. Need more pillows and door was hard to close.
Cost effective , clean , close toAC continental breakfast was lacking no real milk or creamer for the coffee pastries that were about the size of a half dollar that was it
Was cheap That it said breakfeast included there was just coffe and muffin and the room was not that clean
The room was so bad they moved us to another property. The room was so bad they moved us to another property
The price Amenities were poor. Power outlets broken, smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling.
The beds we're big and nice an comfy. The attitude the guy in the office had towards charging our phones since we stayed there but he kicked us out!!!! Nasty service but nice place.
It was OK in a very plain and functional way in terms of all things visably clean and operating. I will stay there again when saving the most money is parimount. It was an overall rundown appearance BUT with more cable than most even my home. AC was great. 1. The SMELL of the lobby - that moldy/funky/disinfectant/cleaner smell. YUK! 2. The large seemingly growing black stain (mold?) right behind the main desk. 3. The mattress was like sinking mashed potatoes - you sank close to the ground (sitting on the edge drove my knees nearly to my chin) BUT it was NOT hard on the back or uncomfortable to sleep on! This is an economy ONJLY place for men travelors... hot shower, TV and do-able bed.
Nothing Mattress, blanket disgusting dirty and noisey left after one hour.
It was cheap, closer to the city and wawa It wasn't clean, bed had some nasty things on it so we had to change the room. The other room was ok, it had lamps but no socket,so we had to move the lamp to start it.
Renovation in progress Loud due to bridge building site and renovation of other rooms. very unclean appearance
The location was extremely convenient to Ocean City, yet affordable by not being right in town.
Clean rooms, short drive accross bridge to Ocean City.
Was given a room and when opened door room was still dirty from last occupants. Never got an apology. Will not return
Counter staff was very nice Smell of cigarette smoke throughout the whole facility. Doors were broken, very dated facility, air conditioning barely worked .. Overall this was not a very plea sent property
clean room, no bed bugs, very affordable with Kayak.com, kiddie pool and regular pool, large bathroom. 6 mins from albany ave beach, good access to all highways and AC. Wifi worked good. We did not get the strong mold smells in the hallways or room that other guests mentioned in earlier reviews, and we stayed there for a week. Continental Bfast has poor options and is over crowded, Back door Unsecured and access ramp needs repairs, smelling weed in hallways on a few nights, the few luggage carts they had were worn out. They should do better landscaping in areas guests frequent.
Very convenient location on the boardwalk & ocean. Comfortable beds. Decent restaurant. Decent pool. Outdoor fast food. Clean. For over $300/night I expected the rooms to be nicer. Bathroom was redone with granite but could have been better. Old wallpaper remains. Peeling paint on door frames. Old furniture. Popcorn ceilings
The Port of Call was very clean and conveniently located. The bed was not a comfortable sleep.
I was in town for work and we stayed in the casino's most of the week but the prices went up so much for the weekend that we had a book a room elsewhere for 2 nights.. we showed up at the Royal Lodge checked in and went to the room and it was so dirty that we couldn't even sit on the bed as thete were blood stains, dirt mildew everywhere. We went back to the main office and the owner would not refund our money. We even told him we would pay for the night just give us the night back that we weren't staying. he was unreasonable and would not give us any money back and we were only in the room for 5 minutes. we saw another couple complaining about the room next door and they were calling the cops and as did we. The cops showed up and told us that this is normal for this property that they receive a few calls a night when guest check in that aren't looking to do crack or prostitutes in the rooms.. I have stayed in some bad places in the years of my travels but this is by far the worst experience and dirtiest Room I've ever seen. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and they should be condemned for the way they are kept. Don't ever stay there I didn't like anything with this hotel. I highly recommend you spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else as this may be one of the worst properties in the country. if you are looking to do crack or take a sleazy prostitute and lay her down in a bed that is dirtier than her by all means go to this property.. any reviews that said this place was legitimate to stay at are made up by the owners family.. please do not believe them
Couldn't find my information. Took him about 15 mins. Then told me I would have to switch rooms. That issue was taken care of. Remote didn't work to the TV. Jacuzzi wasn't cleaned out properly. Bed didn't have fitted sheet and room had a bad odor. Water pressure in the shower was very bad.
Beds were comfy. The table lamps and the other light were out, the room smelled like sweaty guys, stains on the walls, water tasted like rust, the extra cot was broken before we came into the room. Got a family room and wasn't like the picture. Needs hotel impossible. Never again.
Nothing Online pictures are better than the hotel room. Dirty Carpet. Cable didn't work. Dirty bathroom. Bad smell. Roaches inside room.
You cannot stay that close to AC for any cheaper. The adage you get what you pay for is true tho.
The location That my door find lock at all and my phone from the room didn't work the first night and the ax didn't work eather
When we arrived we went to go check in but waited for at least 5 minutes to be attendeded, when we where finally atteneded to they took a very long time to give us our key. When we got to our room we couldn't help but notice the rotten smell of cigarettes ( in a smoke-free room) and the scent of a backed up toilet. The floors where also very dusty and dirty. When I went to go use the bathroom the floor felt like it was ready to cave in, the toilet looked dirty as did the tub. I personally did not want to shower due to the condition that the bathroom was in and at a point was grossed out. The bathroom looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks and both the tub and toilet had black marks from the lack of cleaning. That's not all though, I also found a blood stain on my bed, a cockroach on the floor, the pillowcases where also very dirty. Also the "complementary" breakfast doesn't come with the room, you actually have to pay $1.25 for a cup of coffee and a cheese danish that you could buy at a gas station. Another complain i have is that the tv doesnt come with a channell guide so for those of you unfimiliar with the cable provider than you will have a tough time navigating the channels, not only did it not come with a guide but the remote barely worked. There was virtually nothing good about this hotel excelt for the location. Overall I strongly recommend that noone stays here due to the poor condition on which the rooms where in. Also the room is not worth the money that we paid, save your money and spend it on a nicer hotel that actually bothers cleaning the rooms.
If you're looking for a cheap greasy hotel just outside of AC this could be your place It is super greasy! Terrifying stains on the sheets. Weird staff, disgusting stains everywhere, bathrooms are hellish... It's greasy alright
It was the dirtiest place I have ever seen I lived how there was food in the microwave the toilet paper was on top of an empty roll not changed and by all means the flys not I could not catch to kill .. I think they lived there since this place was built.
I stay with the Marriott every year for Thanksgiving to see my family. This will be the last time I stay there. Front desk was very rude at check in didnt even ask if I needed anything for the room. Room was dirty. Found trash in the couch. Had to call the front desk 3 times about noise and no one came. Went to the main office only to fine the night security playing games in the arcade and front desk sitting in the main living room looking at tv. Gets better. I asked to talk to the mgr. Spoke to wellington who told me I have to be mistaken his LP
Great place to stay, but try to get the 3rd flloor suites as you can hear people walking if overhead. Also, be prepared for an execptionally early checkout 10AM. Awesome suite with fireplace, and nicely kept.
Great setup - tons of space, excellent facilities, great having the golf practice facility right there too. Could definitely use a shuttle to get back and forth from downtown AC.
My family of 4 one being a child, stayed the week of the 4th of July, it was very busy, but it was still very satisfying. The staff is very helpful! The rooms are beautiful!! Full kitchen, laundry room in your actual room, secure porch that you can feel safe having your children on, everything was clean and kept nicely. You have to do your own trash take out though if you are staying more then one day. Nice outdoor pool, and indoor pool also. Plenty of golf! Nice restaurant on site. Theres a shuttle to take you from place to place that is free! Nice game room for the kids. A perfect 10!! Go... try it! you will not be sorry. =]
Very large Room The room did not have proper lighting for it's size. Bathroom needed better fixture and/or newer lightbulb.
I stay on business so just need a clean room and comfortable bed this hotel exceeded our needs with complimentary unadvertised breakfast, friendly staff, very clean, great location in Egg Harbor near my work location - Great Experience! No the opposite they had a gold course and winery would be a great place for a business meeting/retreat!
The hotel was very charming great pleasant staff. Gorgeous lobby. Everything was clean. Perfect outdoor sitting area and beautuful pool area too. The room itself was very spacious but could use some updating.

VERY quiet. The wine tour and tasting was not only informative but well run and very worthwhile. The faux french vineyard motif was a little much.
The hotel was charming and lived up to the pictures and previous descriptions and actually surpassed expectations. The winery was charming. I would highly recommend to friends and family. I will be going back to enjoy the golf course next time.
nice for an adult get away Check in is at 4pm, even though the conformation listed check in at 3pm.
LOcated too far off the highway. No food or bar service after 8PM
Very clean. Staff was nice. No continental breakfast. However coffee and tea was good.
Food and golf The room was outdated
Quaint, Carpet needs replacing, bed was too hard.
