Pros: Friendly staff and excellent hot breakfast in the morning!
Cons: No....this is my hotel of choice when visiting Oswego!
Pros: Hotel was conveniently located near all the local eateries & shops.
Cons: The locks located behind the hotel were filthy. A lot of trash floating in the water. I know it is not their fault, it just took away from the experience.
Pros: The location. It overlooks the river. The restaurant is also nice but a little pricey.
Cons: The tv kept losing its signal, plus there was no TV guide channel to know what was on. The hotel WiFi kept disconnecting. The vending machine wasn't working and there was no ice in the ice machine.
Pros: Clean and staff friendly, breakfast offered better than expected.

Pros: Loved the decor; the fluffy and abundant towels; the cleanliness of my room and hotel; the coffee and muffins in the morning. The staff was lovely.
Cons: My room faced the street, which was noisy with traffic and students into early hours of morning; room did not have a guide to TV channels; reminders for quiet and not using towels to wipe up spills seemed as if hotel catered to college crowd.
Pros: Beautifully appointed. Clean and classy. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Cons: Had to carry luggage upstairs. No iron in room, but they ask you upon arrival and take you to your room (and will bring it if you ask).

Pros: The location- room with balcony on the river was so relaxing. The highlight of my stay!
Cons: Not really- I personally had trouble with the room temperature controls but did not seek help from hotel staff so it was really my own fault.
Pros: The water and its close to SUNY Oswego. Desk staff so rude to my daughter. They really need to be more helpful and much nicer at the front desk. Staff on the Water has wonderful staff and the food is great!!!
Pros: Its was very clean and beautiful. They had the best breakfast i ever had.

Pros: The staff was very helpful (we had a late check-in and spoke with the desk the next day), and the room was comfortable. The price was appropriate and it wasn't too far from Oswego.
Cons: The door was crooked in the frame so we couldn't bolt it closed. Half of the lights via switches did not work. When the staff cleaned the room and bathroom, they left a previous guest's soap in the shower. After I requested our room not be cleaned (we were only staying one more night) I spoke to both the front desk and the ladies in our hallway with carts, but the room was still cleaned (there were no do not disturb signs). This wouldn't have bothered me so much, except they once again did not clean the old soap (or now my soap) from the bathroom shower. Most notably, they didn't empty our bag of trash from the closet area, but they did throw out a zipper from my backpack which had fallen off, so I had to buy a new backpack at Walmart to pack my things before traveling home. That was extremely annoying.
Pros: The cost and location were excellent for our trip. Also enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning.
Cons: The heater didn’t work properly. We returned from our outing the room was 98 degrees even with the thermostats all the way down and the unit on low. We had to shut it off for the night to even sleep. Also the box spring cover was very dirty and needs serious cleaning under the beds. It would have been nice to be able to see the bar but they closed so early like 9:30 pm we kept missing it.
Pros: the bar service and personnel, the continental breakfast, the morning cook, the roadway access, outside grounds had horseshoe pits plenty of tables and chairs and a pretty good view of the river
Cons: pool had algae, beds were hard as rocks with small compacted pillows [2 on each for 4 ppl], pool tables were taken over Saturday night with a tournament so no guest could use them, ice machine 2nd floor not usable, bathroom towels only 2 of each kind for 4 ppl on arrival had to go down and request more, lamp by beds had to be unplugged in order to be turned off, WiFi was sporadic when it did work and nvr exceeded 50% on any channel, air conditioner worked but was taped and pieced together fascia, nvr saw a spa, no hair dryer or microwave, CRT small TV on a huge 2 door armoire, grout between bathroom mirror and sink was dirty and nasty and nvr looked like it was cleaned, the hedges around pool were trimmed and clippings left there on sidewalk to pool
Pros: The location on the river is nice.
Cons: Blankets were dirty. Key system was broken. Side door unlocked and broken. Ice machine second floor broken. Price was high.
Cons: I had a glitch in my computer when I made my reservation so I called to confirm. The lady said "if you reserved online, you don't call me" and hung up. When I got there, there was a no smoking sign but the entire place reaked of cigarette smoke. It was dusty and dingy. The room door would not open or close without kicking it. The bed was so sunken in that you could see a crescent shape to it as soon as you walked in the room. I could have spent $50 on an air mattress for the floor and would have been more comfortable than in that room. The carpets were so dirty and stained that I was afraid to take my shoes off. The bathroom light was too dim to see enough to take a shower, which didn't matter because they gave you one small shampoo/conditioner combo bottle to share. One of the toilet paper rolls were empty and the cardboard was still on the holder. And there was supposedly free breakfast but no one told us this upon check in. I have lived in the area my whole life and Riverside Inn used to be a great place. Whoever took it over to turn it into a Red Roof really destroyed any sense of class that place had left. Such a shame.

Cons: Some things showing their age. Broken bathroom window . and door wouldn't latch
Pros: Nothing. There's ample free ice for fisherman. There's a dunkin donuts in the parking lot and a ruby tuesdays next door
Cons: This hotel is terrible. I vowed to never stay here again, until I happened to see a price of $27 a night which I have never seen in 20 years of coming to oswego. I think I over paid!
Here's a break down of the room

-a vending machine that has only one bag of m&ms left
-a mattress/pillow combo set that is guaranteed to have you visiting a chiropractor when you get home

Pros: Good value for the price. No bells and whistles.
Pros: For their bad reviewers - stay at a Ritz hotel.
Room was clean - no hair or tooth paste scum
Beds were comfy - pillows fluffy & bed comfy
Shower pressure was great!
The staff were friendly
The location is choice!
Hallways look freshly carpeted and repainted - except for was customers scuffed the walls.
Enough space to park boats & trailers and overall safe neighborhood outside.
Can't review the pool that was in the back. I do believe they review these posts as all the things gripped about below looked like they improved or newly renovated.
Cons: Yes a few stains on the white towels but you could she'll they were clean. For what I paid for this place is good.
