Cons: There was stain in the tub and the drain was broken, when I complained the woman at the front desk was rude and never send anyone to fix it
Pros: apartment feeling
Cons: horrible staff. young kids who are biased when it comes to parking. we are a caucasian family, handicapped/disabled. we waited all day for parking, and each time were told their lot was full. right after i asked for parking a third time in the afternoon and was turned down, a hispanic couple came in and got "the last parking spot of the day." This happened twice during my week long stay. the apartments have out-dated furnishings. the beds are HORRIBLE if you have any kind of back pain. One bed was do-able, the second bed sunk to the floor in the middle. luckily we travel with an air mattress, and that saved the day. the grounds are pretty, i'll give them that...but the complex backs up to a ghetto-A$$ gas station that is packed with druggies all night...definitely not an environment for young children. it was my first time to south beach and i didn't know anything about the location of the hotel. it's a little distance from the beach, but i was fine with that. my biggest complaint is how biased the staff seemed against white people, and how quickly it seemed they could fulfill every request from a hispanic with such ease. i won't go back. there's plenty of hotels in that area...just pay a few extra bucks and get a hotel with plenty of secured parking!!!
Pros: Grounds get cleaned every day.
They do respond to issues, and the do come to fix, but it doesn't always help
Cons: The shower was either too hot or too cold. Try to imagine, while taking a shower, one minute it's freezing water, then it's burning. You spend the whole time in the shower maneuvering the faucet.
They tried to fix, but wouldn't work. I got tired of calling them again.
I think it's the way the plumbing is set up and perhaps it's the 'tank-less' water system.
No way to get another paper towel, you get only 1 per stay. No way around that..
The room was cleaned OK, but not great. There is a little bit of a weird (musty??) smell when you walk in, but you get use to it after few days.
Pros: Spacious and clean with a full kitchen
Cons: Advertised as best airport hotel but it's quite far from the airport with a shuttle that only runs once an hour. This wasn't mentioned until I called and asked.
Pros: The staff were all super friendly and helpful
The rooms were clean and the kitchen had utensils, pots, and pans which we did not expect
Cons: Parking was the biggest problem. I was not informed that i had to reserve parking ahead of time.So it was a surprise that I had to hunt for parking that night on July 4th weekend. The staff was helpful in reserving us a spot by day 3 of our stay out of 6 days. But even after getting a parking pass, parking spots were no where to be found. You had to park your car and never move it in order to keep your spot.
Pros: Awesome Place Awesome Staff
Pros: The setting was great and we were able to get good sleep after our long adventures days.
Cons: Only possible negative was some of the furniture was a bit worn, but the price was right so I didn't mind
Pros: The ease of check in and check out, the staff, well kept apartments and grounds, and the location
