Upon arrival in Rm 317, I noticed the room had no toilet paper and bathroom/shower was in terrible condition. The heater didn't work and we waited in the cold while it was replaced. The heater stopped working during the night, when temps were at 0 degrees in the Washington, DC area. We couldn't call to report it because the phone didn't work in the room.
Quite ok where you need place where to spend a night Room could be renovated / renewed
Not one thing Room was like the slum area of a city in bad shape-- did not repair Gapping holes around door- can see outside around air conditioner - Air conditioner needed serviced- air conditioner ready to fall out of support box- wet spots and worn carpet - broken tiles on bathroom floor at least 7 and almost fell on them - water was hot enough to do damage to the skin' Broken box springs wood was extending from the box springs Linen on bed did not look clean musty smell - room 108
It was clean. Bathroom door didn't have a lock or handle. There was a big hole in the bathroom door. The tub was stained and marked up. The room smelled very very bad. The sink was cracked very bad. Did I say the room smelled very bad.
Breakfast decent Large hole burned in blanket. Other holes burned in comforter. Beds very uncomfortable. Tv very old
They would have been better to not have a breakfast station. It had ants and everything seemed not fresh. The pillows were hardly pillows.
Staff were great Price was relatively decent Lobby was nice Free Breakfast was lacking Hallways were a little dirty Room was a little dingy
Advertised as continental breakfast included. Staff could not bothered to keep coffee in the urn. Overall good experience but the desk staff frankly sucked.
We were welcomed by the manager with open arms. He was very accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. The purpose of our trip was an over night trip on the C&O tow path. The manager arranged for us to leave a car at the Inn for 2 nights before we arrived. NA
The manager, Abi, was readily available to answer any questions and assist in any way he could. The rooms are very clean and functional. It's not a luxury hotel, but it certainly served its purpose. The only negatives I can think of would be the pillows and towels. The pillows are on the small side and there are only two on each bed. The towels are thin and rough... But I would definitely stay again!!
The owner/manager took the time to walk us to our room and explain the air conditioning, lights and TV. Very helpful and courteous.
bed was really comfort, and room was really cleaned. owner is so kind and friendly. great value for stay here. free breakfast. i could not use wifi, it was not just working. no connection.
