I loved everything, the warm welcome, the beautiful property and the extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Definitely the best of my stay in Greece. Nothing - just note to call ahead if you want a free transfer from the Port. We walked though, and its not a long walk.
Our room was clean and very nice with a wonderful view of the Naxos sunset. Breakfast was great and the hotel's host was a true delight who made our stay memorable and enjoyable.
Nicoletta was so welcoming and her breakfast was so terrific - so many home made dishes!
Nicolette and her staff were amazing. Very hospitable and she went out of her way to make us welcome and to be helpful. We were given a choice of rooms, advice on the island and she phoned the airline to arrange for delivery of our baggage when Olympic air lost it. This is how hotels should be run. Nothing. It exceeded our expectations.
World class family run hotel. Customer service exceptional. Best hotel in Greek Isles.
Grotta is a lovely hotel in a perfect location. The staff was helpful, kind, accommodating, and made me feel like family.
good staff, free transfers to/from the ferry, free use of computer walking back at night on the road
good location, close to beach, friendly helpful staff, We really enjoyed this pretty little hotel. Should have been clear on washing machine situation. They have one for the hotel, but sounded like there was one in the room. Not a big problem though.
Friendly staff and good location
The staff was very helpful, the hotel was beautiful, and the location near the beach was perfect.
The proprietors/owners are very friendly, accommodating, speak good English, and are well organized. The room was comfortable, entirely adequate, but not luxury, and opened out both sides on to a lovely central area with clean pool, and charming courtyard garden on the other. We found the hotel quiet, a very short walk from the beach and restaurants. If you enjoy privacy, you may feel a bit 'over-looked' here. The buffet breakfast was OK, but lacked variety, and while you won't go hungry, it was not great quality - plus you may get bored of the same things every day. However, there are options in walking distance if you want to opt out.
The family running the hotel is exceptionally pleasent and accommodating. The rooms are well-priced, large, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again without giving a second thought.
Owner was very welcoming and helpful. Nice atmosphere, relaxed. Close to beach.
really friendly and helpful staff, nice swimming pool, clean spacious room with balcony, close to the beach and a selection of tavernas, all in all good value for money, and a lovely family break.
Vaggelis (the proprietor) took care of everything! Breakfast, car rental, laundry, internet access, great location.
Very nice staff, good location.
You will not regret staying at Agios Prokopios Hotel. I have never felt more welcomed at a hotel than here. Vaggelis & Effie are some of the nicest people we've met in Greece and really did absolutely everything to make sure we had a great time during our vacation. Our group (6 people) stayed 3 nights here, but really wanted to extend our stay.
It's a nice hotel close (pretty much on) the beach and with a great pool area. Room was a nice size had a good view of the beach/water. Nice walking distance to Naxos Chora along the beach as well. If you really want a double (rather than a twin) you should phone them and specify - even if you put it on the booking.com request. There are some poorer rooms as wel, like above the kitchen so it pays to phone ahead.
quitness of this hotel, good staf and good breakfast. no
The hotel had a great quiet location. Ten minute walk to town. Pool and grounds were great. Excellent value. Beds hard like most of the Greek hotels I have stayed at. I highly recommend this hotel. Best value by far of my six Greek hotels I stayed at. See above. Firmness of the beds. Front desk help could have been warmer.
fantastic location disappointed with the standard of the room, expected better.
Nice location with great sea view. Towels were replaced daily. Very quiet. Lots of private parking. Basic breakfast not including hot items. No toiletry items were supplied. Cleaning service much below average.
The hotel was far from town and very quiet and peaceful. The room in which we stayed was very new and pleasant. There was easy access to a beach, more suitable for wind surfing than relaxing. The staff/owner at reception was extremely pleasant and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. The breakfast was very good. The hotel had easy access to a small market and a couple of "local" restaurants which had very good food and service. The room was spacious and attractive and had a refrigerator. The beds were very hard and sleeping was not comfortable. The location is windy in general, which we didn't know until we got there, and especially so during our stay (20 to 30 mph sustained wind). The beach is best for windsurfing, not relaxing due to the frequent winds (according to the locals), if you windsurf, this is the hotel for you. We found the beaches in town were much less windy and better for relaxing/swiming.
Clean, new, excellent service. Shower - small with water spray into bathroom.
The flexibility and kindness of the staff. The pictures what are on the website, are not really covering the reality at all the rooms. Our view of our room was to a construction site and to a drive-way, nothing to do with sea-view, but the staff was kind enough to be flexible and change our room. The breakfast was quite basic, and limited.
Location on the beach
The hotel looks new and fresh. Perfect location for windsurfing /kitesurfing. Nice poolarea protected from the wind for nonsurfers.
staff was very helpful, everything was clean and quite new, very good location but you need to have your own transport.
The inclusive breakfast was amazing!
excellent staff, art deco rooms design, very spacious rooms, provide towells for beach, 5min drive from Naxos best beach of Ag. Prokopios bigger TV screen in rooms, rooms wireless internet
The room was great one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever been! The bed was easily the most comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was the best bathroom I have ever been and the a/c was so perfectly installed it was very nice to have during the night. The design of the room was very clever and all appliances installed were perfectly matched. Last but not least the staff was more than helpful, the woman at the cafeteria offered to even prepare something that was not on the menu! A wonderful experience!
My stay in this hotel was the perfect getaway. Beautifully located almost on the beach in a stunning seaside town approx 6km from Naxos. It took about 1 minute to get from my bed to the sun lounger on the beach! The staff were friendly and attentive especially Maria whose client care was superb. A real find for the next time I need to get away to re-charge and as a single traveller I felt very comfortable here. I stayed in September which was perfect but apparently it gets very busy in August and might lose some of its charm.
The family athmosphere and friendliness of the owners, just fantastic, felt like home away from home.
A little bit too far from the beach and and port (20 mn by walk Leak of the toilet flush
nice, quiet place. no
Reception frequently not staffed.
The room was clean and nice. There was a fridge and a nice balcony. The hotel is close to the port and "chora".
it's view and the swimming pool the cabin of the bathroom was damaged and the whole room was a little narrow and small.
Very nice and helpful satff. Amazing view of Agios Prokopios. Clean rooms.
The hospitality of the staff, the location, the environment of the hotel and the size of the room. A jewel (diamond) was lost . It was left by my wife on the tble in the room and disappeared.
It is the ideal hotel for a holidays. We liked everything, the place , the room, the pool, the great views over the sea. The staff was really friendly . The shower is quite small.
The swimming pool, the quaintness of the 'village' the beautiful gardens, the uninterrupted views overlooking Agia Prokopios beach. Good value for money, good breakfast and very pleasant staff. A lovely surprise! No
Comfortable quarters and good view from excellent pool area. Reception staff although helpful lacked interest in the job. Remotely located, better to have own transport. Loud communication between staff members broke into what could have been a very peaceful location.
The swimming pool and the size and cleanliness of the rooms. mosquitos
