very very nice position near Duomo. You can walk to the metro by walking. Hotel stuff are very helpfull and do their job well.
Great location by the Duamo accompanied by helpful and efficient staff behavior
Lack of staff able to iron a shirt at 10pm. No housekeeper services available.
Location It's a stretch to rate as 4 star. Location was great and it's certainly going for the luxury market. Poorly functioning shower in our room was a disappointment for the price. Worse was the service. It was not that our needs were not taken care of but more the manner (attitude) with which they were taken care of. We felt we got poor value for money. 2 stars.
central location & room we had was grand and spacious breakfast was so-so but then
the staff were excellent - very inviting and welcoming. the room was very modern and clean and the bed was very comfortable. very close to all shopping and restaurants - excellent location.
location. Right next to the Duomo and the Galleria. the breakfast room was a little pathetic. the chairs cut off the circulation to your lower legs and your feet fall asleep.
Style and comfort, very close to the Doumo I would have liked more cleanliness of the room and bathroom, especially, from the very first day, but this was corrected in next day
Location, Hotel Bar
it was cold in the room
The staff was extremely helpful and they spoke English very well.
Breakfast buffet, reception's assistance & location (Milan)
great hotel serving a huge breakfast selection, staff friendly, brilliant location near to shops and sightseeing,
the receptionist , Mr -i dont remember his name -help us with our flight cancellations in order to return to athens -he was exceptional the room was not very nice as the ones in the hotels internet site
Location, Value for money, efficiency, Taxa right outside Not very important, but mentioned here anyway: the view from the window, the bathroom was somewhat worn
The location in the Milan city centre, just 5 minutes walking distance to Dome. The unaccommodating/uncordial staff at the reception. / The waiting: for check-in, for check-out, to get a table at breakfast during apparent peak-time, to find a table in the hotel lobby-bar during saturday daytime as they were hosting a conference.
good location for Duomo and shops breakfast was too busy and not enough food or staff
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel and the new refurbished rooms were really nice. Excellent choice for your stay at Milan.
Close to city centre The rooms are ancient and the price was so high. Would never stay again.
New refurbished rooms are great (but not all floors, other are nice too), nice breakfast
Excellent breakfast. Great location Price for internet access was excessive
The service was very good. The concierge advise very helpful. The location from our point of view was perfect with the shops and Duomo all close. We never ate in the hotel however I understand the restaurant to be very good.
I have always found the Carlton to have all ready upon my arrival. My room was available and all was in order. The staff is always very helpful and informative. You cannot beat the location of the hotel to the great shops. The one thing i find about my stay to need updating is the comfort of the bed. Mattress, pillows and possibly softness of sheets need some change. It is not the most comfortable.
Service is good, the location is excellent for shopping in Milan The classic number is not comfortable and very small, it was street view and it was very noisy in the morning.
The bar and the staff there was a funny distinctive smell in the room and I don't know what was the cause.
Good location, helpful staff, decor and Trattoria Bagutta on Via Monte Napoleone The terrace on our room was a bit grubby, silly internet prices and no internet in room other than the tv.
staff was very helpful and accomodating photos at booking.com indicated swimming pool, but ther4e is no pool. The spa was closed during our stay
reception staff wereunbeliveble bad.
I stayed for two nights the location of the hotel is exellent for somone who wants to do shopping in melan the colors and design of the rooms is outdated and the reception and lounge area is dim and lacks artificial lighting
1 Location is perfect for shopping! Just this! When they gave me the key from the room! The room was dirty! After they are changed the room! Air Condition system was broken! Lamp in the toilet was broken!
Although we had a reservation for 3 nights, we've stayed there only one night because the conditions were like a 2 stars hotel.
Location and staff was very friendly
The location together with the view of the Duomo is, certainly, a big advantage! Also I'd point out a markable originality and cosyness of the rooms. Unfortunately, the level of service didn't meet our requirements. Thus, we waited for the in-room breakfast (consisting of omelet!!!) for an hour, giving constant calls to the room service and were almost late for the train after it. The change of the room also took quite a lot, something about an hour as well. All in all, they don't hurry to make guests' stay comfortable.
te spa relax its very good, wen zou are tired of all dhe shooping in milani dhe spa relax is the beter thing in this moment. the staf it was a litele slowli
Please write at least 15 words Room service. Very unorganized
Comfort, size of rooms, design, location and service Insufficient shelfing for putting toiletries & clothes in the shower area
The room style and location Only the time of checkin and checkout
The location of the Hotel Boscolo is perfect, nice designer Hotel The bathroom is much to small, the superiour room even doesn't have a bath, and the nice shower doesn't have much pressure on the water. The closets are very tiny and they are located in the small bathroom. The staff wasn't so friendly. The reception is just a table, so not client friendly. The seperate toilet is very noisy.
pool, restorant problems with staff
The hotel is realy unconventional and creative in case of design. Services are not coresponding to five star hotel. The pool, which is one of the main atractivness is closing too early (8pm). We changed the room because of broken leg of the bed and broken shower. In the another room was noisy a electric equipment whole night. There was 15minutes waiting for a breakfest table. The breakfest choice was limited less than usual three stars hotel, despite the cost of breakfest was 35E per person. Very far from to be satisfied...
Location was perfect. Rooms very nicely done up. Got a great rate as it was pretty much @ the eleventh hour.
Excellent design, in room amenities and overall feeling, excellent location, but may get stuck in traffic to get close, so be prepared to walk "last mile" if you want to get there quicker, new and trendy Poor breakfast (charged extra 35Eur pp, without info that it is not included in price, not a value for money), little additional suggestion was offered - just menu handed, poor English of some staff (I guess they were not yet comfortable with their skills as hotel just opened), although express checkout was ordered in the evening, next morning had to wait for checkout, not yet many guests so hotel felt deserted
design, location, furniture
geographicalk situation close to my meeting place small rooms, no restaurant
staff is really nice bedroms too small and with a heavy decoration.
This a nice small hotel with a posh interior decor reminiscent of 19th century. You can enjoy your nightcap in a charming small bar room of the same style. The location is close to the center (20 min non-boaring walk, 5 min taxi drive for 8-10 Euro, or take a tram). The breakfast is not too fancy, but quite fair. If you arrive late and want to have a dinner somewhere near the hotel, do take advantage of a restaurant a few steps away across the street. It appears to be very popular among local people. The place has a good menu at a fair price and excellent choices for break oven pizzas. Rooms on a smallish, but this is quite expected for a hotel of this size near the center of Milan---cannot really complain; just a note.
too small rooms
It is near to the center. The room was very smal.
Tastefully appointed in an ornate Italianate style including the lobby, rooms and restaurant. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Very nice bathroom with functional shower. Close to the main train station, local airport and 15 minutes walk to the Duomo. Cannot think of anything I didn't like.
Location was perfect. Room was called a double, however the double consisted of two twin beds pushed together!!
The breakfast buffet was fantastic and there were fresh flowers at reception. The room was beautifully furnished. The bed was so big compared to the room that there wasn't much space for my small suitcase and it was hard to walk around it. To get to the bathroom and back I had to move the chair from the little desk.
Location; helpful hotel staff Room too small, too dark..
The rooms were clean. One of the rooms was extremely small Breakfast was poor.
The breakfast is very good and the location is perfect.
central, very nice and romantic room no internet wireless
location very old room
Restuarant staff very nice pleasant people the bed was so hard and only news channels on tv in english tv was changed for new digital one but system needs to catch up with it lol
lareg rooms & the size of the bed
fresh breakfast, location even we booked non smoking room, it stink from the cigarets
The location is good...very accessible to the places we'd like to go to.
Breakfast was good -- varied, tasty, and fresh. Good location -- minutes to Duomo and other places of interest. TV had free channels in a variety of languages. Everything (except what I list under "didn't like") else was just fine. In addition to what I pre-paid while booking, I was charged 5 euros per day for some sort of cover/tax/fee -- does not seem right. The front desk clerk was polite, well-informed, and spoke good English, but his breath smelled unhealthy. The shoe-shining machine on my floor was out of creme. I reported the problem Saturday afternoon, but it remained unaddressed through Sunday and Monday morning, when I left. The hotel's plumbing and other fixtures are ancient -- even if in good repair. For example, I was unable to figure out, how to raise the water-temperature in the shower to my liking.
hotel staff and location
good location extremely noisy
location very poor breakfast, room extremely noisy
very pleasant stay, good service no
clean room, room has been renovated recently location is too far away from metro station
good location-near the center-perfect for a weekend in town services-breakfast-internet connection
the staff's friendlyness
Friendly staff The elevator did not work properly
The central position and the ease of access I think is a very below standard place, despite the 3 stars and the recent renovations
nothing no parking, no breakfast, poor room, no lift, very old bathroom
Breakfast is too small...
All was very good.
The location was the best feature. It was close to the sites (Duomo etc.) and various means of public transportation. It has an "old city hotel" feel but it was clean and affordable. The staff was barely civil. You felt like you were bothering them by asking for a receipt or about where they serve breakfast (We never discovered the answer to that question... we had breakfast outside the hotel.)
It was close to the duomo, staff was nice and friendly Breakfast, tv channels, no cable, no fridge, bedsheets seemed dirty
Located near the center boring breakfast
It was cheap It wasn't cheap enough. A spontaneous trip to Milano was almost ruined. They greeted us with a "can't park here" when stopped outside the hotel, in the hotel designated parking for visitors, as it was raining and we wanted to check in before parking the car. They were obviously annoyed for our late check-in although we confirmed on the phone that it was OK to do so. We were denied access to their 24h parking garage with a "what did you expect at this time". They had a bad attitude and didn't care if they would turn us away as the room was non-refundable.
The close proximity to the Milan Duomo was great. Only a 7 minute walk, and past a wonderful boutique cafe with 1 Euro expresso's ! Very Basic & no lift for luggage.
Close to Duomo, excellent public transport connection, the room itself was quite cosy (despite tiny bathroom) and the price was really good for high season. Breakfast is very very humble (coffee + croissants & some pastries). Hotel does not accept credit cards.
it was close to Duomo I couldnt pay with my credit card
Great option if you want to stay in the center of the city, very clean and comfortable, good value for the money.
