It was just what we needed after a long flight, clean, spacious, modern and comfortable.
The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food is great at reasonable prices, everything looks smart and well organised. it is right next to the tube station which was convenient. The rates are low and you get much more than you expected for this sort of price. the breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Basically I would use this hotel again if I am in the area – very pleasant stay.
Location The hotel was very noisy and the housekeeping staff kept slamming doors keeping us up. In addition we asked a server about the menu and she rudely told us to ask someone else and walked off.
Checkin was quick. Food at the bar was good (see also what I did not like) I picked the hotel because of the name, I stayed in excellent Jury's Inss before, also because it was (said to be) close to the underground & heathrow, Only at the exit there was no indication where the hotel was located, and the hotel was not visible. So I had to ask around, before finding the hotel. It was a bit farther away than described. At check-in they told me the restaurant would be open until 22h30, and gave me a key-card for my room that did not work. When coming back down to the restaurant I was told it closed early, so I had to go to the (overflowing) bar, and had to wait to get a seat. My room was close the the elevators, and poorly insulated, and I heard the elevators moving up and down, and stopping at my floor all night.
The bed was inviting and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely! I didn't have a computer with me so was grateful I could come in free of charge to write an email. There was nothing I didn't like.
More for convenience,as I have to catch early flight. Proximity to the tube is the other plus points. none
The convenient possision, the room was very quiet, no airport noice. The bar area not very acceptable for eating a light meal
friendly staff, convenient location
Very convenient, great location to airport
My wife needed to see a GP and they quickly called one out for us. They were very helpful.
Brand new, lovely hotel and a superb Garden Inn. Comfortable and crispy clean. Nice staff at the bar and check in. Easy access from Hatton Cross Tube stop. Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.
location for airport
Reasonably priced, comfortable, very close to Heathrow No complaints, would stay again.
First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.
Nothing decor very tired, noisy
close to the airport for our departure home the next day cost means to make our own coffee and tea mini refrigerator nice sized bathroom had to walk along way down a hallway to access an elevator to the 2nd floor and then had to walk back down another long hallway there was urine in the toilet in our "clean" hotel room and the TV was all ready on - it left us wondering if our room had really been cleaned no extra pillows or blankets
Relatively clean I chose the hotel because of its supposedly superior pool and fitness room, but they closed right after I arrived. Why would an airport hotel close its facilities at night?
The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly, but something need to be done for the check in and check out front liners. We checked in on 25 \nov 2010, arriving about 10 pm plus from Paris enroute to scotland, the check I staff was not very friendly. We checkd out early morning on 26 nov 2010, the check out staff was also not friendly. A simple eye contact would have been helpful for the hotel management.
Close to the airport The rooms was far too hot.
The food was great, and the service terrific too. Doors a bit scratched up.
Slick check in, very clean and comfortable
the strict minimum!! 14 GBP for wifi
Close to the international airport with easy access to cheap shuttle bus service. Rooms were clean and heating/cooling easily adjusted. Staff were friendly and good with children. A good menu for kids. Rooms are very small, even for overnight stay. There is no lift so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs which is back breaking if your traveling overseas with a large load. They claim to be 4 star which is a bit of a joke... More like 2 1/2 to 3 mainly due to the fact it is dated (looking worn), lack of lifts to upper levels and lacking 4 star facilities. WiFi was a bit dear. Most places in this pricerange where we stayed offered free WiFi.
Close to the airport. Elegant in its own way. The rooms are a bit small.
Room is Comfortable and modern. Lobby and pub/bar very spacious and comfortable. Endless corridors and small rooms for such a huge hotel.
Location, lounge 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money
Proximity to airport Ability to earn Marriott points The hotel was old and in desperate need of an update.
Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.
What a great location. As a weary traveler it's nice when everything goes smoothly. Staff was very accommodating .
Location State of repair/decor. Food---terrible !!! Seemed cheap for a Marriott --now understand why.
Comfortable room and fast internet and ease of taking the public bus system 5 minutes to the terminal cannot be beat. Hair in the bathroom and in the tea cup suggested it did not get cleaned well, and about a 45" wait to get checked in made the stay less than ideal. Both are probably one-off issues though based upon reviews available.
Staff attention to detail, quality of room and location
Close to airport, clean and upgraded rooms. Dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet was great.
Location Service in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.
Location This hotel is old and not very clean. I am surprised that Marriott has let this hotel go this far in dis-repair. Not worth 200 USD a night.
The staff in reception is really rough, especially some guy from indian or middle east, ask the staff to let me join the novotel club for 3 times, but he did not anything and lie to me.
Location of hotel, which allowed quiet ambient atmosphere during the short stay
Good service and a decent room. Free wifi. Overall, I was there for 2 days before I left England so it served its purpose. Check in was supposed to be at 2 pm. I got there around 3:30 and still had to wait about 15 minutes before getting my key.
The food at the restaurant was excellent - a fantastic meal.
The staff were polite, helpful, and unobtrusive. Also they were well turned out. The evening meal could have been better, however the full breakfast was excellent
Extremely polite and service-oriented staff. Convenient location. Good value. Flexibility in accomodating a family of four in one room, a rarity in Europe.
The staff were very good. Public areas ofthe hotel a bit tatty but the rooms excelent.
Location adjacent to M4 -good for connection to London but tube connection better than bus routes. High taxi fares in the locality because of this High taxi fares-charged £28 for 7 mile trip.
Convenient for our touring itinery.
It was totally fine for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. The pull out couch was actually more comfortable than the beds themselves. The air-con did not work in our room and they gave us a small fan to rectify the situation. The front desk staff was also very helpful on the phone, but never followed through with the requests we made.
Comfortable, clean hotel. No real complaint about the hotel itself but it could be better signposted from heathrow/M4 and the junction
clean, modern and comfortable
This is boutique quality hotel with new amenities, at an amazingly low price. They do this, by offering small, but very nice, rooms with single beds. Its about a 10-12 min walk from the Hounslow East Metro station (4 stops from Heathrow), which isn't actually that bad. Fare is 1.5£, taxi is 20£ or so. (Turn right when you exit Hounslow East.)
The swimming pool was fantastic Enjoyed the fact two tv's. Nice to have the childrens area sectioned off from the adults. It would have been nice to have had a sofa in the room instead of a chair. Also toiletries would have help (Shampoo, Conditioner etc. No hot water in the morning.
The hotel was extremely clean, the staff efficient and friendly and the whole safari theme was wonderful. The outside decking and rooms overlooking the safari park were terrific. The pool and spa were lovely and our room was stunning. We will be back again. The breakfast was fabulous but very expensive
Excellent food, good swimming pool, friendly staff and within walking distance of Chessington World of Adventures
lovely location and spacious accomodation
We have stayed in hotels allover the world and have never found staff so friendly, courteous and helpful. It was an absolute joy and we will return Not enough Coffee in the room!
Very helpful and friendly staff, didn't had a fridge in the room to store my baby food but staff helped to keep them in the concierge fridge and delivered bottles as per requested. Comfy, clean and spacious room size and bathroom. Great place for the family to spend the weekend. Would definitely go back again
Nice themed hotel ideal for trips to chessington. Super friendly staff try hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. THere were also lots of little safari extras. Overpriced food in the restaurant.
Brand new hotel, only open three days when we arrived. No problem with late arrival. Good english and buffet breakfast. Right on site at Chessington World of Adventures. A great place to spend the weekend and I would imagine a great weekday hotel for business visitors to the area. Night team still learning and had to deal with influx of late arrivals. Found someones laptop in our room which was a little worrying at the time but its new and these things happen. Would stay there again.
The view of the zebras and antelope, and a section of the zoo opening to guests early evening. A real treat. This hotel is good to stay in as a one off. The food was very pricey, I paid for a continental breakfast £12 for a bowl of cereal and a slice of toast.
Having a pillow is a great idea. It was set in a lovely location and everything was clean and new. It would have been good if plainer snacks were available in bar and restaurant and some staff were difficult to understand .
Quiet, easy parking and communal rooms were very good Not possible to eat in the evening other than on your knee and we couldn't get afternoon tea either
free wifi & parking, nice bed the hotel was quite empty & they still put up on the 3rd floor..lots of steps, that somehow happens very often when booking thru your website.
We felt really welcome upon arrival. The atmosphere was very homely. A beautiful period house with perfect interior. The breakfast was more than enough and in a cosy formal sun-soaked breakfast room with a view onto the garden. Don't miss the billiards room for a game on the huge table! The pool was also excellent. Great place for a romantic weekend or family reunion. 10mins from Hampton Court Palace (Henry 8th home), great day out.
I like everything about this place. The key is too big.
Fantastic location so peaceful , welcoming ,food was fantastic , best pasta I have tasted in a very long time - just an overall great experience throughly enjoyed my time with you , I have already recommended it to my business collegues ! I struggle to think of any ...
Everything was fine. Staff, location, facilities. A really beautiful place. -
Got a free upgrade, room was lovely, pefect surprise setting for my partner. Room came with a Bose sound system, nice bathroom, big bay window with great views to London and the surrounding countryside. Even had a little fridge which is a rarity nowadays. A shower curtain would have been good.
Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. lovely place for weekend getaway.
The area My room
Good service, attentiveness of the staff, excellent facilities We were not advised when we booked that evening meals are not normally provided in the dining room. Supper trays were provided and the quality was good although limited to "sandwich or burgers"
The room was clean and spacious. Check in staff was unwelcoming. Almost was given a smoking room until I complained. Breakfast was expensive and did not live up to the price. The location is far away from the airport and suited to business travelers. Will not book a room at this hotel again.
Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25 For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
The assistance of your staff.Did not like being charged £9.00 for taxi to Terminal one as I thought £4.00 was figure mentioned by your staff.Patrick Madden.
We requested non-smoking and breakfast, but it didn't arrange. We waited many time for check-in and check-out.
Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
It was equiped with a very nice staff no breakfast deal in a quite handsome amount of money
Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow. Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes, the receptionist made a new reservation, and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
Proximity to Heathrow airport. Quiet. Brilliant breakfast.
Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible
Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.
Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow! Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.
The two large beds. The slow reception staff and Jacuzzi was not in order when we went to health club (although we did go within an hour before closing)
Location, spacious rooms the isolation between rooms is very bad, my neigbours were very noisy all night long, that woke me up several times at night
Staff very helpful and pleasant. I was surprised to pay almost 40 British Pounds for an evening buffet. This would be very expensive for a group or a family of 4 or 5.
the room, bathroom hot food stops at 10pm, would be better if this was later
The staff are welcoming and do there best to help. I did ask for additional towels which I never recieved and keeping a average room temperature was difficult tin the cold weather.
Very comfortable, the food was so good, and the room was very nice. The staff were rude.
Free upgrade to Exec Room Bathrooms are I bit dated
Good room, short way from railwaystation
It was good value at the weekend rate and very conveniently located near to East Croydon Railway Station.
Easy access to station, value and comfort for money and very friendly and helpful staff.
The buffet supper our bill was over charged!!!! the receptionist didn't know how long it would take to the airport The staff seemed to be working very long hours
because of booking with booking.com they gave my 18yr old son and me 55yrs a room with a twin bed checking in at midnight after driving 8hrs from Germany. They said they could upgrade me with a surcharge. After waiting until 1am they gave us another tiny room with 2 single beds. All this although I had booked a double room for 4 nights.......
Cleanliness of Holiday Inn, every member of staff efficient. Location on riverside and close to Kingston and Hampton Court. Lovely area. Good car parking facilities. No bad points.
My brother and his wife stayed at this hotel on their anniversary. I live locally so the location of the hotel was idea. The hotel room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the river. There are also lovely pubs and walks close to the hotel and the busy market place of Kingston Upon Thames is just minutes walk away. The bathroom was a little cramped although beautifully appointed.
I liked clean beds and towels. I didn't like layer of dust on TV, 50% of expired milk in a fridge, slow and paid internet (at least should be fast).
Professional attentive staff- good location for my business meetings;
It was close. Check-in & check-out was easy.
Clean, Breakfast good, Staff good & helpful. Ignored at the bar, Shower temperature too hot and hard to control the temperature to the right setting.
Breakfast was a bit chaotic, I dont think there are enough staff to clear, clean tables, replenish bread, fruit, etc. But all staff smiley and helpful, just overworked at 9.A.M. when we breakfasted
Very helpful staff.very new and clean environment. Car parking difficult.breakfast a lot of money
Comfortable, clean room friendly staff Air-con unnecessary,(1st of May in England!!) obtrusive and couldn't be turned off without turning the power off. Breakfast was disappointing - eggs cold, sausages hard. Very expensive for what it was.
Hotel was of poor standard and looked nothing like it did on the website. the room was dirty and the food far to expensive. Hotel staff had very poor understanding of English or they just didnt want to know. the way out
First class all the way Limited menu selectin in the sports bar
Relaxed atmosphere, good food and efficient staff. The excellent poolside atrium closed at 10 p.m. -- a pity because it was a very pleasant place to sit and relax after dinner.
the room very comfortable....near airport. dining a little pricey..but breakfast buffet very good
nice room, very comfortable. cheerful and friendly staff. Willing to help. Quite nice swimming pool. Starbucks in the hotel My room was beside a stairwell leading to the carpark and it was left open often. shame the starbucks wasn't 24h
The size of the room and the Hotel's location poor service at the restaurants
The bed was very comfortable and the room in general was very spacious. Staff were courteous and professional and the choice at breakfast was impressive. The corridors are a bit like a 'rabbit warren' and difficult to locate room.Television required better instructions on simply being able to watch basic channels (button 1 didn't give you BBC1 etc).
Easy to find, very good parking deal and helpful and very efficient staff. Room very quiet considering its proximity to Heathrow.
Had an unexpected layover at LHR. Hotel was convenient to airport. Kind staff, was upgraded to a Club floor room. Room was nice, clean, and comfy.
excellent facilities. main restaurant closed. drink and mini bar prices too high
I always sty at the Bosco when in London since it is near the office I need to go to. But for London area I must say this Hotel sticks out positively. The staff is very nice. It has everything I get in a 4 star Hotel in London as well. but is is half price. Can strongly recommend to book it!
We only had a overnight stay in the heathrow Marriott so none of the above catagories apply, Nevertheless our short stay was very comfortable, and I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel
Cleanliness of room N/A
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet despite being located across the street from the hotel. n/a
Close to the airport, quiet, well cooked breakfast, excellent Italian restaurant far too expensive for a transit hotel, no warmth, bereft of human kindness in architecture and facilities, matress well worn, so poor nights sleep before travelling, need a second mortgage to buy food and especially drink
Convenient to airport. Shuttle bus is GBP 8 per person. If 2 people that's GBP 16. Taxi is GBP 18 - go by taxi! Hotel has a pretty good restaurant. Room upgrade is not worth it - rooms are the same as regular (having stayed before in many rooms here). Good gym and pool. Only 1 computer station in the exec lounge. Should have at least 2. Lots of times had to wait >30 minutes.
I thought the reception into the hotel was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean.
The location, the services. And we really like the casual coziness of the Barhemia lounge and cafe. We always enjoy relaxing there, watching tv with food and drinks.
Family room was offered hence we could stay in the one room as a family. Price of the restaurant
Overnight stay at Heathrow, prior ot flight
The Execuitve Lounge was very small and uncomfortable and certainly not worth paying for an upgrade to get use of it.
This recently opened hotel is a beautifully decorated and fitted hotel close to the amenities of Surbiton. It has a good ambience and my room was extremely comfortable with a very well fitted en suite bathroom. The breakfast was good. I will definately be back, and although on business this time I intend to stay with my wife in the future when we are in the area. I could not fault the hotel.
excellent and friendly family run hotel and good food.
Room clean, modern and comfortable Heating did not work in the room. The breakfast was served cold.
The hotel has been tastefully refurbished and was beautifully clean. We found staff helpful and welcoming. Set a pleasant area, Villiers Lodge is conveniently located within walking distance of bus and rail routes into the city and local sights. Excellent value for money!
Very comfortable, cosy and for me well placed as I needed to go to Clayhill Hall of Residence, very close by. Heating at night was not available. Needed to speak to someone at night and no one was availabel had to phone.....not practical at all.
Nice reception area, great location, friendly staff who allowed me to book in 3 hours early The room was tired, carpet was very worn
I do like staying at the Jurys Inn. I have stayed on two other occassions.
The hotel is nice. The rooms are clean. It is close to the train stattion. It is a real value vor money.
Its access to east croydon station and london Where do I start? The carpets were torn in my room under the beds and when you sat on the bed it went flying across the room. Not enough towles in the room only 2 for 3 people, when I asked for more we got them only for the cleaner to take them away before we got to use them,tv was not tuned in, we were there on holiday yet the cleaners knocked on our room door At 8 everymorning.the tables every morning were dirty yet the breakfast was ok but far to expensive for what u got. The staff were good.
The flexibility and helpfulness of the staff - eg. Room service not normally provided, but an exception made when it was noticed that I was pregnant, and a meal was brought up to my room. A lovely gesture.
I have stated at the Jury Inn's on a number of occassions. I do like staying there. If I do go else where I do compare Parking is the only problem.
Ridiculously comfortable beds, friendly service (especially the girl from Ireland with the long braids!), super clean, free coffee and tea. Doors to rooms slammed shut a little too easily
location close to public transport shopping centre and high street clean and comfortable room with all mod coms no
The price of the hotel. The price of the food in the hotel.
room was ok, basic standard breakfast area a bit on the shabby side (stained carpets and chair upholstery)
It was a very pleasant stay and a lot better than I was expecting. Your staff were friendly and very helpful.
