10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole place! The owner was friendly and full of good information and recommendations. We really enjoyed our time there. The ground were lovely. Loved hearing about the macadamia nut trees, plants, etc. We enjoyed the “lava” movies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kelly the owner/manager was great! She gave excellent recommendations for sights and an excellent insight into this part of the big island.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, breakfast was good and the host had interesting story's to tell about the vulcanic action on the Island. Even a video show of spectacular eruptions and flows of lava. You can wander around on the macadamia plantation. We had a great stay.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners were amazing and made you feel welcome in a beautiful location. They enabled us to really experience the Green Sand beach and a Black Sand bay that only the locals know about, they made the day possible and far better than if we had tried to do it on our own. Their hospitality and friendliness made the stay memorable and we would return to visit again.
Cons: The property is rural/more like a farm homestay and would be minor drawback if that was not what you were looking for. There was some noise, insects and animals (Roster and large Dog) being a hobby/small farm. Whilst the room was clean there was room for improvement to make it spotless.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful!
7.5 Good
Pros: Great centralized location on the southern tip of the Big Island. Host gave a great presentation about the latest lava flows and things to see (Host had great travel tips for seeing Black Sand Beaches (with sea turtles just sitting around on shore) Green Sand Beaches, snorkeling areas etc.). Property swimming pool was great to cool off in after a long day of sightseeing.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a little better. Could have used some orange juice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Local knowledge, being welcomed in & hearing the history of the property and opportunities that ...you really only get to visit if spending time talking with local residents
Cons: Nothing, everything was great and getting better.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice basic Continental Breakfast and facilities public space.
