Monica and Rosa were wonderful hosts! The house was beautiful, food delicious and our room was very comfortable.
That we had to leave
Monica and Rosa are amazing people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of.
This is very nit picky, my wife didn’t like that the toilet in our room didn’t have a lid. For me, the house is a little hot and stuffy, can’t imagine what the summer is like.
The Canal Street Inn is a beautiful old home only about 1.5 miles from the French Quarter. We got in the street car right in front of the Inn so getting around was super easy. The Innkeepers were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious! The bed was super comfortable, and our room was very large and spacious.
I felt like I was staying somewhere out of a movie! I love the whole breakfast process! Also my host helped us find cool places to go in town
-For Mardi Gras the Endymion parade passed right in front at the hotel, and the management organised a party to celebrate, there was plenty to drink and eat and we had an amazing time. -The staff was super friendly, and cooked our breakfast to order every day. -The room and facilities were very clean -It was very quiet -The property is a stunning period building with an interesting story
-It’s a little far from the the city centre, but well connected, there’s a street car stop right in front of the the property -The double doors to get inside we’re a bit frustrating -We couldn’t get our bedroom door to open, but the innkeeper fixed the door handle rigger away
