Great location and very clean
I reserved a double with a view way in advance of the Conference to insure a room in the host hotel. Guaranteed per the reservation contract. No double available upon timely arrival. Prepaid over $600 for 2 night, wherein other conference attendees paid half the amount. 18th Floor, low water pressure. Mattress extremely hard. Weather was bad, so the hotel was convenient to access the Convention Center. This hotel deal was no deal at all for me. Seriously punitive foe me, though trying to take care of lodging way in advance. Over $600 for a single bed, 2 nights for a Regional Conference? Never again!
The food at Draggo’s was outstanding
Great early check in!
Staff was great! Easy check in at 6am.
Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.
For $300+/night, charging to use the health clubs seems a slap in the face. At the end of the day, I did not get much more than I would have for $120/night, and will look elsewhere in the future. Sure, the Riverside was the hotel of choice for the ACS meeting, yet I can walk, get to see a bit more of NOLA while doing so, pay much less money, and (in the end) pay much less for what I need -- a quite place to sleep.
Nestled in New Orleans’ Warehouse District, Hilton New Orleans Riverside offers comfortable accommodation for couples, guests, and travelers. The guest rooms feature flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, a work area, a coffeemaker, and more. Some rooms also come with lovely views of downtown or Mississippi River.
Guests have a plethora of dining choices. Drago’s offers New Orleans local favorites like gumbo and charbroiled oysters, Le Croissant serves traditional New Orleans breakfast dishes like beignets and crawfish omelets, and River Blends Café is the hotel’s on-site coffee house serving quick breakfast items, sandwiches, and coffee drinks all day.
Much more than just a convention hotel, Hilton offers amenities such as an expansive gym with tennis, basketball, and racquetball courts, fitness classes, two outdoor pools, and saunas. Spirits Bar is a great open-air spot to grab a cocktail while a speakeasy atmosphere is found at the Public Belt bar where guests can enjoy live music. Guests can pick up on-the-go items—and anything else forgotten from their packing list—at the Marketplace. In-room dining is also available.
Attached to Hilton New Orleans Riverside, the Outlet Collection is an indoor mall boasting more than 75 retailers. Guests are within walking distance to the French Quarter, Harrah’s Casino, and Audubon Aquarium. A Saints game at Mercedes-Benz Superdome is less than two miles away, while the nearest airport, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, is 16 miles from the hotel. Other nearby attractions include the Café du Monde, and Jackson Square.
