connected to outlets and cafe du monde! On the river
Staff was great, especially Kelly at the Front Desk
You're being nickled and dimed. Had to get a few pages printed, which were $3.56 each (double-sided) and it came to almost $200 for 50 pages. Wanted to go to the gym, which is an additional $12. The hotel is quite spread out. Going from my room in Building 3 to the gym was a 20 minute walk (and I walk fast). Not a big deal for me, since I considered it part of my cardio workout.
Everything has a huge fee associated with it, the valets were unfriendly and purposely gave us bad directions because we used self Park, our room felt like a motel six, the bed didn't have a comforter, when I called they acted unconcerned and sent up a thin scratchy blanket. The tv signal was terrible, the remote was from the 1990's, it literally took 4 seconds to change from one channel to the next. all of the appliances were unplugged. We were scheduled for 3 nights but we cancelled the last two and switched to a bnb in uptown. MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE. The same price when you add up all the extras the Hilton tries to gouge you on.
We really enjoyed how clean the hotel was. Our room felt comfortable and clean which is a big factor for our hotel stays. We had a horrible experince at check in but the manager that took care of our concerns took great care of us and genually seemed to care.
When we were checking in I was not greeted nicely at all. The front desk employee seemed like she was put out by me being there. She was very rude towards me from the jump. I was asking questions about our stay because we are not familiar with the area and where to park and she basically told me to go figure it out myself.
Close to Riverwalk and restaurants, a short walk from the Quarter
Customer service, smell and cleanliness, parking fees, pool
Housekeeping was great
They didn't honor my Yasir price
We upgraded to an executive suite and had access to the top floor executive lounge. Beautiful views of the city and river. The location is great being on the water and right across the street from Harrahs Casino. Just a short walk from Bourbon street for nightlife entertainment. Very friendly and helpful staff
Self parking is expensive ($35/night). Executive rooms are a little small for the money.
We were not able to check in until eleven that nite
The downtown location is great. They looked after my bags on my last day after I checked out. Free internet and printing at the cafe by the front desk.
They gave me a room with no view whatsoever. I asked for late check out which the front desk attendant said she would put for me luckily the next morning I confirmed it because she didn't put it. They charge for everything so be careful because there's no free wifi. I had a housekeeping lady open my door while I was in bed in my underwear after I repeatedly told her not to open the door out loud.
The room was very nice, bed comfortable. Convenient to the French Quarter
Didn't have much of a view. Any thing extra was costly such as wi-fi, access to the health club, parking etc.
Cold, heating unit did not work door deadbolt did not work had to change rooms breakfast was uncooked restaurant was very disappointing
great location, near the casino and not far from bourbon and the quarter
the room was a little smaller than I expected.
The hotel is very impressive
Paying $35 to park
