Clean, location, courteous staff.
Restaurant was just ok. Probably, could gave gotten better at whole foods across the street.
Very modern and cozy, clean and very warm. Stayed in December. I would say most hotels are cold in the winter but this was not. Also very quiet, my daughter and I slept extremely well. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. It is in an excellent location. Walking distance to all the tourist locations but off the beaten path in a more quiet location.
The location was amazing, as were the staff--super friendly and helpful. The concierges both gave excellent recommendations for food and activities, definitely exploit their knowledge!
Unfortunately, I think we got unlucky with our room. We had several issues with the bathroom and air-conditioning, which the engineer promptly fixed. Be aware that upon booking and arriving, you should request a higher level of a standard room. The basic level is VERY small, especially for two people.
Room T which could not be controlled.
location. bed comfort. no bed bugs.
the rug was dirty looking. a chair would have been useful.
The staff was great - especially Tommy the bellman. The location is awesome!
The morning we checked out there was no hot water to shower.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful.
The room size was a little cramped for three adults.
A non-frills hotel, but being a Thompson Hotel it offers high quality service, clean rooms and good value accommodation. All the hotel staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay at 6 Columbus.
Rooms don't have a view & lack of business center.
Location close to Lincoln center. The little Japanese restaurant was good for breakfast.
Bedsheets cover smelled of smoke; apparently this was not a smoke free hotel or room.
The location near Columbus Circle is great, but the hotel is hard to find since it lists its address as 6 Columbus Circle when in fact it is on 58th, near 8th avenue.
The air conditioning worked but we could not make adjustments, just turn it off. Then it would not turn on again.
Comfortable bed, nice tv, extremely clean bathroom. Really liked the heated floor in the bathroom. Bar and lobby were very nice.
The room was clean and the decor was very trendy. The staff were very helpful and kind.
