Cons. I called them the night before because I missed my plane. They ended up charging me twice for a night I never even stay there and twice for the next night and so they ended up overcharging me $176. I was on my way to the airport when I asked the front desks gentleman what the extra charges were about and he got testy with me and wouldn't tell me what they were and was very rude. I booked with them two months in advance and they charged me 2 months in advance they never even waited for me to show up. And the over charge was made the day that I left
Pros. The hotel was cheap for it's location, and the staff was friendly. Additionally, the room and hotel itself were both clean.
Cons. The room was overwhelmingly hot, which made it difficult to sleep well throughout the night, and I couldn't figure out a way to control the temperature myself, or even open the window.
Pros. Friendly, helpful staff
Cons. No elevator
Pros. The hotel is right next to Penn Station affordable when you're in the city for a fair amount of time. The staff was really friendly.
Cons. The room (and bathroom) is tiny! For two adults it can get cumbersome. It would have been nice for the toilet to have a lid since there really are no surfaces to put your things on.
Pros. Staff was very helpful and friendly and in a great location great place to stay
Pros. price & simple, clean room.
Cons. Not a problem for me, but be aware no ironing board, desk area. Very small bathroom with little surface area to set stuff (would not be appropriate for my partner who has many things to set out on counters on the bathroom when getting ready for work). AC was a micro wall unit with remote control, there was a switch (like a light switch) on the wall near it that had to be turned on for it to work (but then it worked fine).
Cons. I ended up with a tiny room and twin size bed. not what I had planned when I booked. not to mention the bathroom and shower were also tiny!
Pros. I like that it was clean, that is about it.
Cons. There was too much noise outside during the night. I could not really sleep, from the cars honking to inebriated people outside making too much noise. I guess thats the price you pay in New York City. The rooms were really small for the price I paid. There was no hot water and therefore could not take a shower. The bathroom was also awkward in where the sink was placed to the side. Would not recommend someone staying here. It is too expensive without the amenities to justify the price.
