Our bathroom toilet did not work properly as well as the sink drainage.
The whole place is right off a highway exit, down a dark road. When you first enter, the I hate my life staff stares us down until we greeted him. Less than enthusiastic check in and when we asked where we should park, he simply said, parking is first come first serve so wherever. We bought our luggage into the room, which was old and smelly. I want to note that I'm no diva and am usually satisfied with a standard hotel room, no frills needed. This was terrible. Carpets were stained, It smelled musky and dirty. I couldn't even bring myself to take a shower in that bathroom. There was a overwhelming stench of mildew. The comforter had stains on it. I mean, it looked like a urine stain and another spot looked like blood. It was a nightmare, if I felt like it would be safe to sleep in my car I would've. We paid over $100 for one night, I'm not sure what you can get in that area for that price range, but if I knew 3 stars was like this I would not have hesitated to spend more.
Convenient to all shopping/dining needs. Hampton Beach is a short drive, which is nice not having to deal with the beach's congestion every time you go out. The bed was like sleeping on just a box spring. We had a room with a sleeper sofa. As a sofa, you couldn't even sit on it, you would sink right down to bars of the sleeper. Extremely uncomfortable. They really need to invest in new beds. We had ants in our room. The chairs in the breakfast area were disgusting and one of the tables had the same syrup or whatever spilled, on the table for days.
Excellent location. 10 minutes from the beach. Right next to loads of dining and shopping Terrible condition, disgusting stained carpets and linens, facilities and building is extremely aged
Nothing Dirty, they misrepresented their hotel, no premuim bedding.( sheets don't even fit the beds.) No covers under sheets, or pillow cases. Beds were terrible. Room darking shades are dark red curtains, with something white all over them, we didn't want to guess. Our room had a door knob, not a very good one either, no dead bolt, just a chain. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Big room Nice bedding and pillows Clean Microwave and fridge in room Free coffee all day Good breakfast Everyone was very nice Right off 95 GREAT PRICE!! Nothing, this hotel exceeded my expectations
Got the suite and it was big and spacious clean in the room. Good breakfast room. Nice pool area. New staff help at night did not know how to work the TV, took second day late at night to get help for the TV to work. We were there for only two nights. The outside needed paint and inside needed new carpet.
The staff were super friendly and approachable. It was conveniently located to a lot of the sites and historic spots of Newburyport and Amesbury. Was a short drive to most things. Only had an outdoor pool. But overall cannot complain. Was a great value and a nice stay.
My daughter and I stayed there because it was close to Hampton Beach and a concert we attended nearby. The hotel was located conveniently to the highway, the room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. We slept like babies. The complimentary breakfast was well thought out and very filling. We left with a smile on our face and would definitely stay again. The view outside our window was of numerous parked trailers which wasn't very interesting or appealing. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.
Staff was very friendly the room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Pool was clean and refreshing also the breakfast was all we needed and good.
Traveling solo, I still got the King Suite. Room is clean, the fridge was convenient , I did not need to use the microwave this trip. The bed and linen were very comfortable. A/C worked fantastic. The bathroom is large and has plenty of counter space. There are upbeat sayings printed on the walls and doors. The gym fit my needs, did not have occasion to use the pool, but it looked nice and even has a special needs chair lift. The breakfast had a varied and delicious selection: fruits, egg dish, meats, yogurt, cereals, juices, make it yourself waffles, pastry and toaster. Location is convenient. Will stay here again. No complaints. ;-D
Location to Hampton Beach. Nice hotel
Very clean inn. Friendly staff. Lots to do if you bring your family, have a game room, pools, petting zoo, obstacle course, outside seating, nice continental breakfast, and quiet hours. After 10 it quiets down which is nice at such a big place Parking was the only downfall. They have a big parking lot in the center of the grounds with the rooms surrounding the parking lot. My room however was on the outside perimeter of the inn. Very few parking spots on the outside perimeter of the building meant I had to do some walking around the building
The price was very reasonable, the beds comfortable, and it was right off the highway. Needed a place to stay for the night while I was having some work done on my house, and this place fit the bill. I would stay here again. 1) The woman working the front desk has NO people skills. Acted as if I was interrupting her when I checked in. She could use some coaching on her customer interaction skills. 2) The weird pool hours: Pool hours are 9am-6pm (why close so early?), but check in isn't until 4pm, and checkout is at 10am. So technically, you can use the pool for 3 hours, if you spend one night there. We used the pool post-checkout, but it would have been nice to use it the night before after we checked in.
We did not feel like it was a place for our kids to stay when we pulled in, so we left and got a new hotel and forfeited the money we spent.
They have a lot of options. They charge more for the room front of the pool. I didn't ask for it. And they didn't told us.
