So happy with this accidental find!
Pros: I chose the Bay Shores Peninsula on a whim, and boy was that a good gamble! The place is really quaint, staff is amazingly kind and attentive, and our room was perfect. There's not a lot of space in the rooms that goes to waste, nice sized closet with small fridge and safe, bathroom clean and well appointed, they even had a little nook turned into a dressing table for us ladies, complete with plugs and a coffeemaker. Good TV plus on demand channels and a wall of DVD movies in the lobby you can borrow. The rooftop lounge area is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The breakfast buffet was nice, quite a few choices and good coffee to boot. Plus they make fresh cookies every day, I mean really, it's like visiting family. Parking was a little lacking because there is construction happening, but that is truly out of their control and the staff helps out with that piece as much as they can. We will definitely be back!

Pros: The Bay Shore Peninsula Hotel is probably the friendless hotel we have ever stayed at, if not #1 it's tied for #1. Extremely convenient to the beach, shopping, dozens of restaurants and whatever you might need are probably within walking distance.
