It was cheap. It had a fridge and microwave. I found a dead bed bug on the mattress. I'm terrified my apartment will now become infested. The sheets were kind of scratchy. The bathroom ceiling had some mold and paint was falling off. The shower head was not very firmly attached to the wall. I got two shampoos and no conditioner.
Price was fair for an overpriced part of Connecticut. good bed. No elevator. Smoke filled hallways. Sad breakfast. Dull and faded decor. You get what you pay for.
Nothing Dirty / noisey / did not feel safe / hoodlums every where
Quick access to the room, check in and check out was fast! The room was very nice and neat! I suffer from migraines so I wasn't happy with their choice of fragrance that they used in the room, some sort of patchouli oil smell or something. They should use something less offensive. Otherwise there were no other complaints everything was fine!
I loved the price and was expecting the price to reflect the place but it didn't. The location was perfect. The room was nice and spacious with very nice furniture sleigh bed. The owner was very friendly and quick to offer help and advice. Me and my wife were there for a wedding late returns and un-bothered late mornings were welcome as you would expect at a bed and breakfast. I got to tour my other family's accommodations which was the same style and luxury as mine but for 3-4 times the price :) would return. The bathroom was on the small side, breakfast could have had bit more taste to it these are your two down falls for being perfect.
This is an antique hole filled with lots of nostalgic charm. The rooms are old fashion to go with the times. The bed was very comfortable, the lobby was decorated in memorabilia. We were there for a wedding in the area and we enjoyed our stay. We did not have the continental breakfast, so I can't tell you about this. The staff was friendly. It is near downtown and we walked to shops and restaurants. There were only 2 plug ins in the main room. One had the tv and coffee maker and the other had a lamp, so it was hard to plug in electronics for recharging
Charming, vintage, I loved the woodwork and the antiques. The breakfast was just junk food, and the bathrooms and mattresses need updating.
