Great value. Very well maintained facility. Comfortable rooms. The best was the staff (particularly the concierge Gerardo L.). We would be delighted to stay there again. Nothing.
Not a great stay. Room service was extremely poor - took over an hour to receive the food...miuntes after receiving it the fire alarm bell went off and we had to vacate the building...
The room the view the amenities the staff all excellent The smell of chlorine in the lobby
Rooms were amazingly comfortable and the view of the harbour and city were spectacular. In my particular room, the WiFi connection was rather unreliable. Hotel staff was somewhat lacking personality but generally speaking were efficient and informative.
Great location and reasonably priced.
Toller Blick auf die Skyline, nettes Personal, schöne Zimmer, 25m Pool, gut ausgestatteter (moderner!) Fitnessbereich
The view was spectacular and the room was immaculate and the staff were supberb
Very comfortable hotel to stay. Highly recommended.
So many things going on and nice shopping in area Construction
Pinnacle Hotel was a refreshing change for me. Enjoyed my stay and I would go back there for sure.
The rooms are very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The location is excellent with easy access to everything. Parking is a fair price compared to other hotels however it is not well marked and difficult to get out of if you do not have a very compact car. The details on the room are nice (umbrella, robe, etc..). The restaurant was excellent and had a very good selection. The lobby feels very cold and not warm and inviting, however this is probably related to the unfriendly front desk staff which is sad because although I loved the hotel, the snooty front desk staff I experienced would prevent me from staying here again. The parking is difficult to locate and not well marked from the street.
I liked the pin cards for the elevators and doors. I felt very safe. The rooms were very luxurious and well laid out. Very comfortable and clean. There was nothing not to like.
It was close to everything - especially Lions Gate Hospital - also there were a couplel of excellent restaurants close by. Didn't like the fact that there was an extra charge for parking.
Although this hotel is in North Vancouver, I found better value at this hotel compared to any one I have stayed in downtown. It is on top of Lonsdale Quay, which provides a number of great public transit options. Most importantly, you are a 5-10 minute SeaBus ride away from downtown. So you can go from your hotel room door to a bar in GasTown in less than 15 minutes. On weekends, the market below the hotel is bustling, so lots to do in the mornings.
Partial water view. Balcony. Lots of local produce stands, close by coffee, and hundreds of mall shops, if you like that next to your hotel. Nice pier out to the bay with a view of (south) Vancouver. Remote location. Hard to find, especially at night. Parking garage is vast and confusing requiring a walk thru the mall. Carpets and bed spreads need cleaning. Decor was bad late 90's Chinese black lacquer furniture with maroon bed spread and gold lame wall paper. Bed was mushy. Overal not very friendly.
location, value, good accommodation Nothing
I was close to the elevator so thought it might be noisy, but it was very quiet. Nice being close to shops and restaurants downstairs. It was good to see a security guard in the underground parking.
Very convenient location and well priced; we will stay again.
Great location when you are in town without a vehicle. Friendly staff, right above Lonsdale Market, Sea-bus and bus transfer station. Hotel is looking a little dated, needs new plumbing fixtures and decoration updates.
Location is very convenient Heard that parking garage has had break in peoblems
We really enjoyed our stay beautiful room, wonderful view of the water front and the shops below were lovely
A nice hotel in a great and convenient location. Good front desk staff, always very pleasant and helpful. Numerous and interesting eating and shopping opportunities in the area. Wonderful waterfront location.
Location Facilities Price Should be 2 stars
Near to downtown yet its steps away from the mountains Noise the showers made
The vibe and location is awesome! Nothing. All was great!
the view, the location, overpriced, hotel just generally need an update and some attention to detail if they're going to charge those rates.
The front desk was very helpful. Being on one of the upper floors was great for the limited view of the water.
The staff was very friendly. The location was very nice. The view was amazing. Lots of noise. We could hear neighbors just talking and laughing until 2:30 in the morning. You can hear all the traffic and business noises. No information on simple things like ice machines or vending machines.
Great upgrade, the view of the City was great.
good location and great confort. Could do with wi-fi No wi-fi
I'll come back to this hotel . Everything is
Loved being in the middle of the action on Robson street & walking to all of the shops. I did not like the tiny bathrooms.
convenience location Extra charge for everything. food is very expensive
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very comfortable, stunning views. Spending a lot of money on a 5 star hotel is OK but to be charged extra to use WIFI seems greedy. In 5 weeks in Canada this is the only hotel we stayed in which charged. It was also the most expensive.
Very comfortable bed and pillows - Everything I needed was in the room. Check in and out were very fast. It was an enjoyable stay and the location was perfect.
great location for prior to a cruise! restaurant has excellent menu! delicious and healthyh!
Proximity to the cruise ship terminal. Easy to get anywhere in the city by walking, bus or subway (Sky Rail). Extremely courteous staff, very helpful. Will definitely stay there in the future. Nothing
Good location - upmarket service You have to go through the parking garage to get to the gym - and it was cold!
Beautiful location and elegant decor. Room and bedding very comfortable and spacious. All service was friendly and prompt. Bellman was especially helpful with information and very courteous. Very enjoyable.
the curteous staff, efficient, friendly, helpful and obliging we had bad weather
Location was most suitable to our needs Freindly staff
Beautiful place to stay for my first time in Vancouver. Close to everything downtown.
This is the perfect hotel to be close to the cruise terminal as well as for sightseeing, right next to Gastown, Chinatown, and the Skytrain. Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.
Staff we're very helpful and accommodating Room was super clean and surprisingly quiet considering how busy the hotel was Super convenient location Internet charge was a little outrageous
1/ Location 2/ Friendly, helpful staff 3/ Great view from the breakfast room. 1/ Parking was a joke: expensive, very poorly laid out, difficult to find the way out and the way in. 2/ I found that $20 for a continental breakfast left me inclined to eat more than normal in an attempt to get my money's worth.
The view was great, location was great and these made our stay perfect. The room was clean and maintained during our stay, the staff was courteous. All in all happy at the end.
We stayed here while attending the Sea Wheeze festivities. We loved how close the location was to the convention center and the Stanley Park since that was where most of our weekend was spent. It was very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Proximity to harbor wall, Stanley Park, and Robson Street for all kinds of entertainment and diverse dining experiences. Rooms are spacious and parking is handy.
Requested to change room due to the noise, The stuff found us a different room at 2 in the morning. Stayed a night on the 17th floor, the elevator sound was very loud through out the day and night. I couldn't fall asleep at all.
location Restauarnt tawdry: all furniture worn/torn, seriously in need of refurbishment. Security panels on doors and high-pressure door closers give impression of ongoing issues re security - perhaps unwarranted, but questionable.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful .the accommodations were only so so and paying $300 USD for a $100 room was a downer.
Very nice and helpful staff. Awesome location. Nice lobby, restaurant/bar I booked a king but got a room with two twins (or two EXTREMELY small queens), bathroom wasn't very clean and bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
Pinnacle is clearly an older hotel that has had a high style interior makeover. The lobby, cafe/bar and the guest rooms are all very stylish. For quite reasonable rates our room had harbor and convention center views. The room and bath were nicely appointed. Quality coffe was offered for the morning The exterior is lack luster and the elevators have not been upgraded and feel a bit rickety. Our room was a hallway away from the core and we could hear them on and off all night. All in all it out performed expectations.
Excellent access to the cruise terminal. A very comfy environment. We walked and used public transportation to make our way about the city, staying 3 days and two nights. We had no negative experiences or observations.
The location is 2 blocks from the harbor, easy walk to convention center attractions as well as harbor walk to nearby Stanley park. The hotel, though very nice is showing its age, mostly in exterior architecture & room hallways. The pool/spa was a bit dirty and not very well lit. The lobby makes a great first impression but diminishes with interaction with the rest of the spaces...
Great location, worth the extra money for the harbor view. Lots of great amenities, including use of the bikes because you are so close to the seawall and Stanley Park. Nice and friendly staff. TV often didn't work and had to restart it many times.
Excellent furnishings. Nothing.
Service was impeccable. Facilities were well kept, rooms were beautiful. A bit pricey without a discount, but absolutely amazing.
Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons! That we didn't get to stay longer!
Rooms. Service. Location.
Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!
It was lovely B&B with a welcoming atmosphere which felt as comfortable as being home. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was a served breakfast and it was absolutely delicious as well as healthful. A good start to the day! No. Nothing disappointed us.
breakfast is difference experience, best.
Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well. Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.
The air of sophistication and luxury. The ambience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim is hard to match. I liked the knowledgeable staff and their willingness to be of service to guests. House keeping can still improve in their cleanliness.
Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also, every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL! Loved everything about it. Will be back!
Hyatt was (again) an excellent choice. There was nothing to be desired. We were treated very well and the view from the room was fantastic! Friends traveling with us choose a different hotel in close proximity and it was nowhere close to Hyatt quality and comfort! They paid parking over $40 a day and our parking fees were much lower during the holiday weekend! We were very pleased during this stay!
Great location, great facilities, starbucks in the lobby, super efficient elevators so getting up and down from high floors is easy even during the busiest periods, comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms, excellent service from staff at all levels. An outstanding experience.
Size of room and amenities
Decent views Great food Had to switch rooms, 1st Room was very dirty and the balcony door was broken so we could hear all the street noise and had a draft. We went from 19-20th floor Beds didn't look like that photographs. No robes
Staff were excellent. From the front desk, bellman, housekeeping and concierge, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extremely pleasant.
Accessible to everything , nice staff , The Grain Bar is awesome , Starbucks on site . Fantastic , would highly Recomend it to everyone I know and will definetly Come Back and Stay None
Great service and high quality rooms. Rooms need more plug ins, especially since one were found near the desk.
Staff was excellent
Breakfast was great! Rooms were clean and spacious.
A lovely hotel - great location and fabulous staff
I accidentally left my wallet with my drivers license and credit cards and money in the room. The housekeeping staff was excellent in their professional conduct. The maid took the stuff to the housekeeping department. The lady there was very helpful. The entre contents were returned to me. I truly appreciate their honesty, integrity and helpfulness. I always expect to have a great stay at the Hyatt hotels, This made it even better.
Super comfy bed. Great location. Room service was great but pricey. Tried to checkin at 240 when guaranteed is 3pm. Didn't have our room ready till 4pm. I had to inquire 3 times with 3 different people whom all assured us they would call or text me and inform guest services manager. Didn't happen. Bags took another 40 mins longer to come up as they insisted on delivering. Executive suite was nice but only 7th floor. Bad view of pool/buildings. Outdated inside suite. Mismatched door hardware and odd bath/shower setup. No soaker tubs. Won't be back in future. Considering Hotel Georgia or Westin or Pan Pacific.
The staff was incredibly professional with wonderful attitudes.
The staff at this facility were very, very kind; and very, very helpful. The best I've ever encountered. Top marks.
Fantastic customer service, staff friendly but professional. Bed incredibly cozy, just what I needed after a long flight from France. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This hotel was nice We had a good time there our negative has to be that we came back with bedbugs. This were found two days later. My wife killed one and had been bitten on her arms and neck area
Called 3 times to try to stop and retrieve a phone charger. Put on hold for too long, name, phone number and email taken. Promises to get back. no follow through 3 times. finally just bought a new charger before my next stop. You would think that a 5 stare $400/night would have a system for collecting, marking and storing items left in rooms.
Hotel is walking distance from Granville Island, Stanley Park, and the Aquarium. Close to great restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent.
Unbelievably attentive staff and attention to detail.
Staff were very helpful Expensive.
Aside from being everything I look for in a hotel—quiet, great views, luxuriously comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and decor throughout—its location really makes it special when it comes to exploring the city. It's perfectly situated along major bus and train routes, and you'll never spend more than a minute or so hailing a cab on the street (which is great, as there's currently no Uber or Lyft). Vancouver's already a super walkable city, but this makes it incredibly easy to get around without a car. Even then, you're never more than a few blocks from great food, art (the Vancouver Art Gallery is across the street), landmarks, parks, entertainment and shopping. It also smells phenomenal. Stay there.
I arrived at 2.0 pm and asked for my room, but it wasn't ready until 4.0pm. I reserved a deluxe suite with downtown view, but I got one with a swimming pool view. It was a bit challenging to get my room.
The restaurant at Four Seasons had a delicious breakfast and the bed was super comfortable! The hotel feels a little old and worn down rather than luxurious, the gym is small, hot-tub was luke warm with no jet power, pool looks nice but it's small and shallow and there were silverfish in the sauna. On top of this I had some thing happen to me personally that didn't make it a great experience overall (things like the cleaning staff didn't come any day I was there).
The location is excellent. The service was first class. The restaurant 'Bacchus' was also excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
Best hotel for service and ambiance in Vancouver nothing
A truly great boutique hotel in an excellent downtown location. We usually prefer to dine out at night, but could not resist the lure of the wonderful atmosphere & superb food in house.I suspect all staff are highly trained in delivering excellent customer care & certainly they deliver it.The Wedgewood was a wonderful experience over the four nights we spent there. We would be cranks if we did !
Amazing staff, clean, beautiful room with deck. And the most comfortable beds and bedding.
The room and the food. The hotel offered a free breakfast, but there was confusion with the on line booking. The offer system should be clarified. With other hotels offering a free breakfast i.e. Opus Hotel, the on line booking for the coupon was much simpler. The Hotel did honour the free breakfast.
Great bar and restaurant. friendly staff. very comfortable / luxurious rooms. windows are older not well insulated for sound. A bit noisy as it is downtown
Our room was very comfortable &the hotel location was ideal for getting around Vancouver. Meals in dining room were v expensive, especially breakfast & frankly I've had better hash browns at MacDonalds. We had a comparable breakfast at a similar hotel in Seattle that was 25% cheaper & and of better quality by far. I just hate to be taken advantage of in that way. The box of chocolates I received for staying didn't make up for poor food at an outrageous price - even if this is a luxury hotel.
Comfortable room and quiet floor. Nice to come back to a lovely room after a day of exploring Vancouver.
Superb location, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Elegant setting. The 2 of the restaurant staff could be a little on the snooty side!
Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished. Not Applicable.
excellent service with large rooms, and a very good location in the middle of the city rooms are bit old, but do have large flat screens TV
Friendly professional staff Delightful breakfast in the beautiful Bacchus lounge Spacious room with quality linens and L'Occitaine products Great value Excellent location
The staff was amazing the rooms were impeccable the views in our corner suite were amazing !! Although the features of this hotel are truly amazing..... We were not able to stream music via Bluetooth into the stero system from our devices. My girlfriend had made a mix for my birthday celebration we had to listen to it from the iPad
I really didn't like the attitude of the employees(specially the front desk) ..and the quality of the service doesn't high to a 5 or 4 stars hotel service..comparing to other shangri-la hotels world wide
The location was good -- pretty central to downtown and only a short walk to the Skylink train. The living room was extremely small -- much smaller than the pictures on the website. It's not a room one would want to hang out in. So for the price, it didn't strike me as a good value. The check-in process occurs in a dark, run-down room in the hotel garage. I'd recommend the place for business travel. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for leisure travel.
Modern, clean, quiet and efficient
Beautiful hotel and location Restaurant is excellent Try to do a breakfast package. Well worth it.
Loved it all but found the staff to be extreemly friendly and helpful
Staff I have stayed at hotels that cost 2/3 the cost of this place in Vancouver and were just as nice if not better. I am very confused why I paid $600 a night to stay here.
cleanliness, modern, practical, amenities the after shampoo conditioner is impossible to get out of that bottle. please change your container!
It was a beautiful hotel and was reasonably priced.
Well appointed, modern, spacious. Construction noise. The hotel failed to warn us about this. We would avoided it.
The staff are amazing warm friendly and genuinely helpful. Beautiful hotel and good location. A calm oasis in a busy world
The service was outstanding. We had two suites during the day of our wedding for both wedding parties to get ready in. All of our requests were completed in a timely and gracious manner. The staff was incredibly nice and overly helpful. Thank you for making our day that much easier. Nothing, it was a perfect stay for what we needed.
Staff was great, very helpful and kind.
Very good location and good deal for the money. It might not be a good place for families being above a bar and night club and on the busiest party street in Vancouver.
The hotel room was very nice and clean. We could tell that it had been recently renovated. Free coffee in the lobby all day was a nice touch. KAYAKs site clearly stated that the parking was free but when we checked in, the hotel staff said that the parking is never free. I am currently going back and forth trying to get reimbursed for the parking that I had to pay for. Had I known that I would have had to pay for parking, I would have stayed elsewhere. Especially since the parking lot was not covered and the hotel is located in an extremely active nightclub area. I worried about my car the whole time and the management was rude to me when I tried to explain my issue.
The rooms were clean and the location was great. Very central. The room was way smaller than described in pictures, they really should have a better description.
Staff curteous/friendly Handicapped had to enter hotel thru noisy pub
Professional, helpful staff Clean room, no odours Too much noise in the small hours from Granville Street partiers Bed was too soft Small room, tight quarters
The location was convenient, staff was welcoming and helpful, breakfast on site for $18 for two, 20% off dinner in Irish pub on site, computer and printer in lobby for orintg our boarding passes, room was quiet at back, jacuzzi tub. Elevator broken so half off, great value at $67 plus tax. Walk up, but we didn't mind. Front rooms on Granville may be a bit noisier, not sure. We asked for at the back.
The lady that checked me in. That's about it. Started with no early check ins, we were a few hours early. We ended up having to walk around downtown Vancouver for four hours before we could get in our room; which is understandable...but they didn't offer luggage storage, and they didn't suggest any things that we could do in the hours we waited, (in fact we wre pretty much ignored until check in time). We had to pack our entire car in the trunk and keep checking back on it. When we did finally get checked in, there was a fight that broke out in the lobby between a man and who I believe was the manager of the hotel. Our bed was uncomfortable, it sunk like a hammock. The lamp was broken & there was little to no light. I was charged for four people but ended up with only three, and they couldn't give me a refund for the one person that wasnt there. Also, they failed to mention that we get 20% off at the pub downstairs until we already ate & paid.
Liked Irish Pub on the first floor, clean room and convenient beds Noise from outside after party crowds, air conditioner vent faces one of the beds too directly, no refrigerator
Convenient location for concert goers Rooms are extremely small and cramped, bed was lumpy. If you get a room facing Granville, expect really loud noises all night long as it's the party district. Ear plugs didn't help. Didn't know this when we booked.
Bed comfort, bathroom, wifi. Too much noise from the street - needs triple glazing.
The beds weren't that comfy
Location at a reasonable price. Sound transmits through walls but I had quiet neighbors so my stay was nice.
convenient location to downtown parking was challenging due to size of parking lot
The location and the breakfast is good. The room was clean. The hotel is like an old road motel. All is old, the room smelled like a insecticide, the carpet was break, bad value for money
The location was good. I was there for a 4 day stay and they put me right by a busy street, even though the hotel was not full. They moved me a little further from the road. But this room was next to a very noisy wooden staircase. my room was in the middle of a sports team and they were super noisy. The hotel did nothing to address the noise. The team and others were out in the parking lot making noise until 1am. The breakfast was poor. I actually left a night early without a refund because it was so bad.
The breakfast was good with several hot items.. The pool was smallcbut nicely heated. Cleaning and desk staff were helpful. Close to severalcNorth Vancouver attractions. Parking is a little ctight for a big vehicle.
As someone who tries to healthily it was so refreshing to have fresh fruit, real oatmeal and other goodies. Room was clean and well kept.
Good location, the best option out of the few hotels in the area. Really polite and helpful staff. There are a few rooms right next to the street. If you're a light sleeper, you'll hear every car passing by. Keep this in mind and ask for a room in the interior court if traffic noise bothers you.
Friendly Staff, good connection to the city e.g. Stanley park through public bus. Nice walk nearby to Capilano regional park. Poor breakfast. Breakfast location much too small at weekends, breakfast of low quality.
Computer available in the lobby, very easy access to west and north Vancouver, easy access to the Lions gate bridge. You should have specified that the rooms would not be cleaned (beds be made) every day.
Great location, friendly staff and overall good 3 star hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable. The rates were good except for taxes. It was good to have breakfast included. Happy with the stay.
This is my third stay in this property. Great location, great staff, having a seating area a big plus! Very quiet. Am appreciative that it's not your typical business type chain hotel. Because my first stay was after property first opened, like all "homes," am starting to see the wear and tear of time. Hope the property stays energized vs transforming into a tired grande dame.
no slippers in room ...
The rooms were clean and spacious. the facility was nice. The people were helpful. No problems.
This is a great location.the staff is helpful and you are able to easily walk to many Vancouver sites.
We booked this hotel somewhat last minute after an Airbnb reservation didn't work out. We were very pleased with the hotel. The location couldn't be better, service was very friendly, and the room was spacious and well-appointed. No pool or hot tub, but for a smaller hotel like this, it's not unusual.
The rooms are small, but everything else was great. Fantastic front desk. The hotel was quite willing to change a reservation by 24 hours, but not the hotel booker. Turns out that the booking service (that begins with "K" and won't allow comments on this site, uses a third party hotel booker (also not allowed a mention here) but begins with a "G" who are totally inflexible.
Suite was beautiful
Friendly staff. Clean room. They didn't have an exercise room....the one elliptical and bike in a room with a drop down ceiling that couldn't accommodate anyone over 5'5' was VERY disappointing.
Restaurant has very limited options and very rude staff. food taste poor and not worth money. Hotel is very small with limited facilities. I will not like to stay again.
Staff and Building were fabulous. Location was great. The online/website marketing advertised hot tub and swimming pool facilities as part of the building. Turns out, there is none. Also - details in the room itself for maintenance = the drain plug on the "soaking tub" did not close and, therefore soaking could not happen....and the "hot" water only ever got to tepid-warm for the shower I took.
Proximity as well as view from our room. Breathtaking. Even with the view of the planes taking off we heard nothing because of the great soundproof windows. That our stay was too short to enjoy everything.
Gave me a suite
Watching the planes landing and taking off; being able to walk the concourse of YVR and people watching. We could hear the neighbours talking at night while we were trying to some sleep before an early morning flight ... not very sound-proof.
Being inside the airport and being very quiet. For the amount of $$ the room was, I find it insulting for the hotel to charge over the Internet usage. Its an old business model that has to b changed. Absolutely not acceptable.
Location - convenient for flights. Appalling lack of maintenance including: An electrical junction box with an extemporized, ill-fitting metal cover through which exposed wires could be seen, Shattered tiles in bathroom, Peeling wallpaper, Cracked sink, Stained carpets, Beat up furniture - scraped, scratched, chipped. For such an expensive hotel, this room was unacceptable but it was really late and we had a 6:00am flight next morning so we slept in it. I informed the clerk upon check out and got "So sorry, thanks for staying with us, bye". My advice: take the shuttle to an off-site hotel.
At the airport so very convenient Food in restaurant a bit expensive
View of the airport was amazing, And completely quite.
This is a very nice new hotel. What sets it apart though is its location. It is right in the airport steps from international terminal. Though more expensive than typical layover hotels, the convenience to us was more than worth it. No shuttle buses or taxis!
We just stepped off the plane and into our hotel. The bathroom doors didn't allow for complete privacy.
Very polite staff n efficiency in dealing with luggage. I had a bag full of smoked salmon that needed to be kept in the freezer overnight. Done.... Nothing.
It's very nice to be able to walk from your gate to the hotel and vice versa. The staff is polite and efficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only real drawback is the price of everything. Vancouver is an expensive city, and airport property is expensive, even in more affordable cities, so you can imagine how expensive YVR ends up being.
We liked the proximity to the airport, the staff, size and cleanliness of the rooms. The sliding, louvred doors on the bathrooms.
