Pros: Breakfast in the morning, cleanliness and convenience and the pool.
Pros: The price was right for a few nights stay at the Jersey shore. The people at the front desk were helpful with questions asked. Liked that there was breakfast available.
Cons: There were some noisy people next door. The bathroom door would not stay open when trying to get fresh air inside. Was concerned about an elderly lady who sat outside and smoked . Every time we would enter/exit the hotel she was there. Just a little weird.

Cons: The front desk person kept disappearing and people trying to check in were asking me if there was anyone working
I asked for a cork screw and front desk refused to look for one and said "we don't have any" and then tried to give me scissors to "break into" my wine- never once said I will make the suggestion to my manager to have one on hand for guess
Pros: The room was very clean. Very friendly people working desk . Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the morning breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Paying $3 for a bottle of water from there snack center.
Pros: Service was the best I've seen

Pros: Great combination of B&B and hotel. Turn of century boarding house, updated in keeping with period but modern facilities. Nicely decorated room, good closet space and amenities, bathroom updated and adequate. Will return. Good value in the Fall. Not far from beach, on the lake.
Situated by the ocean, The Hewitt Wellington Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Spring Lake. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool or grab a bite to eat at Whispers, which serves dinner. Rooms at this Victorian hotel offer refrigerators and free WiFi.
Pros: Must say ... better then I thought. Reminded me of Clevelander back in the day .
Pros: Across the street from the beach, next to the Stone Pony, super comfortable beds, great staff!
Cons: Could be cleaner
From our well-appointed rooms to our poolside tiki huts world-class dance club we are setting the standard for Asbury Park the Empress Hotel has 101 rooms in a glorious ocean setting located across the street from the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to historic Ocean Grove. Together with the Paradise Nightclub and Tabu Restaurant The Empress is part of one of New Jerseys largest and most exciting entertainment complexes.
Cons: Floors are thin. Was constantly woken up during the middle of the night
Pros: Really enjoyed the nightly live music events in the lobby/bar area! The hotel is also about 3 blocks from the Boardwalk, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Asbury Park, where there are some great little restaurants and bars. Just an excellent location. The rooms have a very "college" vibe, but are bright, homey, and comfortable. You can also order food delivered directly to your room from a local place called JR's, which has a large menu and pretty good food.
Pros: Location was excellent - hotel bar, lounge areas, entertainment options and pool, etc. were great.
Cons: Our room was on the small side and was missing basic things like a coffee maker. I like the modern look, but the room wasn't upscale modern, it felt very ikea modern. So for the week-day rate/deal I got, it was fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay any more for the room we had.
Pros: The design of the hotel is beautiful. Fells very west coast and has great access to the beach.
Cons: Rooms are really small and do not have anything like, coffee machine, fridge, or microwave. Also no adjoining rooms in the hotel.
Pros: 1. Location.
4. Friendliness of staff
5. Size of bathroom
6. The rooftop lounge: Gorgeous views over the entire city. It's nice that there is a separate entrance than the hotel to get to the lounge.
Cons: 1. The room decor looked like it was Ikea. Clean lines, but looked cheap.
2. Poor design of shower. Nice big bathroom. I liked the tile. Note that my bathroom had a standup shower, not a tub (I'm not sure of all rooms though). The water from the showerheard must have exceeded the drains ability to drain, because by the time I was done, the towel I placed on the floor was soaked!!! Not moist but soaked. The threshold may not have had enough heights.
3. I was in my room until sometime in afternoon. The cleaning people knocked and said I wasn't ready, but they never came back. Not that I'm particulary smelly so it didn't matter much, but it would have been nice to have come back to a made bed.
The Asbury features a nightclub and a rooftop terrace. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the coffee shop/café or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. A poolside bar and a seasonal outdoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like rainfall showerheads and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: I was a very nice stay. Courtyards aren't usually top tier so that's why I gave it 4 stars however it was nice and clean and comfortable.
Cons: The pool was freezing cold and really needs a heater and the whirlpool had far too much chlorine which made me feel a little sick after use.
Pros: Great value for the cost. Not many dining options nearby, but Wawa across street offers a surprising variety of healthier grab-and-go options.

Cons: The type of customers that stayed at the hotel at the same time we did were shady looking characters. I honestly worried about my wife and children on a couple of occasions when I left them in the room to pick up a few things. the guests staying above us were loud and disruptive on the night we stayed. The were "partying" till about 2:30am. The front desk was unresponsive and when called did nothing to address the situation, as a result my wife went upstairs and respectfully requested that they keep it down as we had two young children attempting to sleep. We then received a call from the front desk saying that we were not to disturb the guests and if we "disturbed" the guests again we would have to check out and the police would be called. We were baffled! The grounds were filthy and we had to have our room changed because of the smell of our initial room. Dont stay here, if you do remember: "I told you so!"
There is so much to see and do near our newly renovated Red Roof Inn Neptune. Six Flags Great Adventure is 24 miles away, enjoy more family fun at Wild Safari also located at Six Flags, Keansburg Amusement Park is also nearby and offers enchanting fun for kids of all ages. If you are feeling lucky, head to the Monmouth Park Racetrack, where you can place your bets on thoroughbred horses. We are close to Monmouth Beach and other Jersey Shore beaches and Jersey Shore Premium Outlet Mall is just 2 miles from our hotel.
Pros: The hotel staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. Breakfast was very good and convenient, something for everyone.
Cons: Pool was way over chlorinated. Cleaning person removed our dirty towels and took out trash but did not make beds or give us new towels.
Pros: Our stay was fabulous and I can honestly attribute that to the staff. Everyone was so accommodating, and dedicated to making our stay wonderful. We used the facility for wedding prep , and for me and my husband to spend the night after the wedding. Knowing about the occasion the hotel went above and beyond.

Pros: I loved the atmosphere...very sophisticated and nice! Bed very comfortable...wished I had a chance to use the jazuzzi tub!
Very comfortable and convenient stay...def. will be there again; had a nice surprising UPGRADE...and breakfest in the am had fresh everying! Was impressed :)
Cons: The only thing that I did not like, is the movie selection; no way of renting a movie in the room....for privacy...
Situated in Spring Lake, this bed & breakfast is within 1 mi (2 km) of St. Catharine Church and Washington Ave. Beach. Sea Girt Lighthouse and Algonquin Arts Theatre are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: Neat and clean. Basic amenities for an overnight stay and affordable.
Pros: Cheap. Bed was decently comfortable.
Cons: Non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. Thin walls and was kept awake and then woken by loud people in the room next door.
Each season of the year presents great opportunities to bring your family or business associates to our newly and comfortably decorated, centrally air-conditioned and heated motel. Enjoy the beautiful beaches of Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Manasquan, or take a dip in our in-ground pool.
Situated by the ocean, Walden Inn & Suites is a great choice for a stay in Spring Lake. Guests will have free perks like breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms at this Victorian bed & breakfast offer DVD players and free wired Internet.
Doolan's Shore Club is a great choice for a stay in Spring Lake. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out The Shore Club Grille, which serves American cuisine. A bar/lounge and a seasonal outdoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer plasma TVs and refrigerators.
Cons: Tv was broken, hair dryer Dodd not wor, room was never cleaned and we stayed 3 days. The hotel is over priced.
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Was shocked to see how cheap and broken down so much of the hotel is (e.g., the elevator floor is uneven, the walls on our floor had poorly covered holes in the wall, the room did not have a mini fridge, the television was so pixelated it was uncomfortable to watch, etc).
Pros: We were given free parking to compensate for the fact that our room was not ready upon our arrival.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was not available during our stay, which was a huge disappointment. The handles on the dresser were broken, the volume button on the iHome was broken, and there was some sort of water damage to the ceiling. There was also a round of housekeeping where some trash was not removed.
Pros: The staff couldn't have been nicer. The lobby and the building itself is absolutely gorgeous. The location of the hotel is prime for going to the boardwalk or the nearby venues such as the Stone Pony. The pool was a really nice area in which to relax.
Cons: The rooms were nice but for $300+ a night (the going rate for a summer weekend), I would have expected it to be nicer. The room was small, which was expected, but it seems the room hasn't been updated in several years. The bathroom is a bit strange - at least ours was. The sink was super shallow and the shower doesn't have a curtain or door. It has a glass panel that doesn't fully prevent the water from spraying onto the bathroom floor. Not the worst hotel room I've stayed in but not the best one for the price paid.
Pros: the people that work at the hotel was very nice, polite and friendly
the maid that clean my room was very sweet, polite and respect woman because i gave her a tip and she was happy
Cons: the breakfast was terrible
the chair of the pool a lot of them are broke and no comfortable
at night people screaming and very noise,i call the security to let them know
i ask for ocean view but the room only had very little ocean view a building was block the view because i was on the 4 floor,i pay the ocean view and i feel i loss my money because the view was horrible
Pros: Great location! Right across from the beach and walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly - everyone smiled and said hello. Easy and quick check in process.
Cons: S L O W elevators!
Cons: No parking available for my car.
Bed was incredibly uncomfortable.
No holder for the toilet paper, we had to leave it on the floor in the bathroom.
TV reception was poor.
TV was not an HD TV which one would think was standard in 2016, especially at a net rate of $250/night for a beach hotel.
Handle on chest of drawers was broken couldn't use the second drawer. None of the drawers were on their tracks. Sliding closet doors were off the track.
Touted as a dog friendly hotel, the cleaning crew was not obligated to clean the room if the dog was in the room at the time they arrived.
Pros: The ocean view was so relaxing. Hotel was quiet, but going off season, that's to be expected. Bed comfortable, staff helpful and nice.
Cons: Hot water took over ten minutes to go on. Windows drafty and hotel is old. They can use some updates.
Had some issues checking in that annoyed me but overall it was ok.
Pros: right across from the beach
Cons: No hot water in the morning.
Pros: The outside of the hotel looks better than the inside of the hotel. The hotel is located in a quieter section of the boardwalk.
Cons: I received a text message at 2 o'clock telling me my room is ready, when I arrived at 6 o'clock my room was not ready. They upgraded me to some sort of better room however it was disgusting! Holes in the couch, dirty windows and Doors that were falling off the hinges. The valet boys do not help with the bags. They only allow you to keep your car until 12 o'clock for an additional $20 fee
Pros: The hotel is conveniently situated across the street from the beach and boardwalk.
Cons: We had called and asked to arrange for parking but when we arrived we were told that they were all booked up because of a wedding and we had to park at meters. Our bathrooms were dirty. There was a safe in my friends room but none in mine and when I asked why I was told that it didn't matter anyway because they didn't have the keys for them. My friends bed sheets were stained and she asked for housekeeping to change them and was told that that was normal wear and tear. We wanted to go to the hotels bar located on the first floor but we're told they were closed until August but then they opened the next day. Right now it's 1:22am and I'm sitting here waiting for about an hour now for someone to come because our tv doesn't work. Not worth the hefty price per night. It's definitely a 3 star hotel at best
Historic hotel, located on the beach, in the center of Asbury Park, on the famous NJ Shore. 236 stylish rooms, most of which face either the ocean or our beautiful city. Outdoor pool, tiki bar, restaurant, fitness center, and 30,000 square feet of event spaceParking is limited space on first come first served basis, 1Car per room$10 per night in the off season ( Subject to change when there are large events in Asbury )$35 per night in the Peak season Memorial Day WeekendSeptember 30th 2017
Pros: After stepping into the room, I immediately checked the bed to see if the sheets were changed / crease free, and they were, though I was afraid to touch the blanket. The TV works well. Refrigerator in room.
Cons: The room has a hardwood floor, the tub has a dirt ring around it, the lampshades are cracked and dusty, and the bed makes A LOT of noise. I was appalled to see a hotel room with a hardwood floor. The floor becomes very cold at night. After turning all three lamps on, the room lighting was still very dim. If it wasn't for the bright TV coupled with the lamps it would have been difficult to see particular items in the room. The hallway had a strange subtle smell to it. The water pressure in the tub was decent, except both the water in the tub and bathroom sink took a while to empty. The night front desk staff member looked like he was straight out of prison. I've never stayed at hotel where I've been forced to sign a contract.
Cons: The room smelled mildewy.
Cons: The rooms smells humid, we checked 3 before deciding on the least smeally one.
Cons: Got bit by something. Probably a bed bug
Pros: Room was wonderful and very clean. Staff at the front desk were extra friendly.
Pros: The price
Cons: Was a little noisy at night. Sounded like the plumbing
Pros: -Bed and pillows were most likely the most comfortable I have ever slept on.
-Staff was super friendly
-Fridge and microwave in the room
-Free Breakfast everyday
-Nice flat-screen TV
Cons: -Lack of TV channels unless you like HSN or foreign TV
-Would have liked some more selections for breakfast but hey it was free can't beat that.
-Pool and hot tub should be open later.
Pros: Good hotel, I'll stay there again.
Cons: Pool is closed too early and breakfast could be little bit longer too
