Pros: This place is amazing and so authentic. We loved our stay with Raven and Mark, learning about the island, the lava, the trees ... The breakfast is delicious too. We really recommend this place
My property is a very unique design all stone house with a pool and a cottage and a room in the house for rent very open design with plenty of windows everywhere to see and hear these beautiful sounds. I've got two rooms available each room can handle three people max and the price given is for one room but two rooms can be rented at the same time but would be charged twice. The pool has a cement courtyard and a 7 ft wall for privacy hammocks shades and tables, a nice BBQ pit for your BBQ needs there's always music playing there it's a very fun place to hang out. The cottage is a rustic unique place with its own fridge freezer music station and tv and DVD player the room also has a beautiful sitting spot with windows and sun. The kitchen which is available to all guests has everything stove micro wave toaster oven sink spices and a cool hot sauce station, it also has a 15 ft bar with stool to be next to the yummy food. The kitchen and the living room are open approx 50 ft long perfect for a nice meal with friends We offer tours on availability:kayak, paddle board surf lessons Mauna Kea and green sands adventure tours

Pros: Jim and Jim were the most generous hosts one could ask for. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with fresh fruits, jams and syrups provided from their property. We intended on eating and getting on the road but found conversation enjoyable and full of great recommendations that we stayed 1.5 hours more than we thought we would. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and if we return to the big island we will definitely return again.
Cons: Being early risers, coffee wasn’t available until 7 am. That’s probably our fault. Had we asked, it probably would have been available earlier.

7.5 Good
Pros: In nature, beautiful, and quite. Great place to unwind. The staff is great!
Cons: It is far from town but close to a beach.
7.5 Good
Pros: The guy wearing the pink sarong:) the cats, open bathrooms were nice
Cons: Double bed needs a boxspring, mattress was comfortable but sags at end feel like your going downhill.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Sooo loud, and smell soooo bad. If you ever thinking to stay here, i suggest you just sleep in the car.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great staff ! A very nice place, lots of bountiful gardens.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Daily fresh vegan food, very creative. Cool Yoga sessions. Beautiful location close to or rather immersed in nature. Jungle-like flora, fauna and weather close to the Pacific. Airy and spacey room which probably could have housed some more people. Ah, and last but not least a very intriguing bathroom! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is charming and very calm and cozy
Cons: Nothing
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The room was not as advertised here on booking. Most importantly, I booked the room for a private bathroom. There are only shared bathrooms. I also paid extra for a "sea view" and could not see the ocean. Don't expect much privacy either as we were basically in the yoga studio. Also asked to turn off lights by 9pm.
6.3 Good
Cons: Location. Locating accommodations and parking was unclear. Always a wait to shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great vegan food at reasonable prices, kitchen to cook your own, fresh fruit from the garden
Cons: While facilities are great for a retreat, it is an off-grid site and may not be for you if you have luxury expectations
Welcome to Paradise! We are an 8 acre farm and Bnb with 5000 acres of forest reserve in our back yard. The only sounds you will hear are the birds in the day, the BirdFrogs at night. and if the ocean is at high tide, you can hear faint sounds of the waves coming in. (The Birdfrogs are actually just tiny frogs, but they sound like birds singing) On other websites, our 5 star rating is over 95% as our rooms are crisp and clean and our beds are super comfy. Most of our guests enjoy our 400 square foot Lanai to dine or simply to soak up the sounds of nature. You will be staying in one of the bedrooms in our BNC (Bed & Coffee) Your room and the main door has a key less lock system that only you will know the code to. You and your belongings are very safe and the other guests are always delightful. Most of the time, they interact with each other and often do activities together. We do serve coffee in the morning and often times there is fruit from our farm. Just ask Tracy for a coconut as we typically have plenty to share. We are less than one mile from the main road, located on a private road. So you will never hear any SOUNDS OF NATURE. Even though secluded, we are within minutes to the ocean, hot ponds, tide pools, green lake, and 2 beaches. We are only 12 minutes to Pahoa Town and 20 minutes from the active lava flow. We will be happy to teach you how to get directly next to the flowing lava and have $10 bike rides there. Our private road is unlike most dirt roads in Hawaii, it is very drive-able in a regular car and you can go around 10-15 mph. Just watch out for the occasional dip. If you ever have any special requests, please ask us as we aim to please. Please enjoy your vacation with us.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I used it again because I had a very good stay 2years ago I was also very happy to see the Mark and Kilauea. I enjoyed the location of the sauna and the very beautiful garden ,this time too . Marc introducing 'Dolphin Swim' made me the best memories!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view is simply spectacular. You could sit for hours and gaze at the steam coming out of the vents against a backdrop of the ocean and the scenery. Besides Marc was fantastic person to get to know, which to me people you meet are as important as the places you explore.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Funky off the beaten track house, nice sized room with use of public living space, kitchen and saunas. Close to town with lots of restaurants.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: There was absolutely not one thing about this property that was advertised as was online. I should have done my homework and read the reviews. No breakfast , house smelled like mold and musty, Marc was there just to take my money. Our room was dark and dingy. This property is in some sort of court litigation and is owned by a lawyer and Marc just stays there to take money from unsuspecting tourists. You have a small shelf in the fridge with barely two eggs and a pat of butter the rest of the fridge is filled with their food. This property should be taken off of every website! I will do my best to write as many reviews that I can. We paid for four nites and left the next day and lost our money 577.00 Booking should look into this property as a scam. Now I’m hesitant to Book anything from this website. I was scammed!
5.5 Okay
Pros: The room was very spacious, and the views were incredible! Private location that is peaceful and quiet. Host is friendly.
Cons: There is no sign with the property name; in fact there is an old sign bearing the name of a previous inn, making it difficult to find. The property must have been impressive in its heyday, but is now somewhat dilapidated and run down—it needs a lot of work. The lighting is poor, especially given the large space. The water is not drinkable from the tap, so should be boiled or use the bottled water they supply. We booked as a B&B, but the host said they no longer serve breakfast, and told us we could have some food from their referigerator.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Mark and Ishiko are very nice and had good ideas for how we could spend our time. The facility would make a great youth hostel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Pele’s sauna was unique. The facilities were far different than my expectation. It is a very basic place to stay. Beds are average at best. Bathrooms were very basic. Marc was nice, he seems to be working on upkeep but it is not a place if you are expecting a B&B. It is best for the person who is seeking basic accommodations.
Cons: Beds, eating arrangement, and overall facilities.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very special Place, we felt very previleged to stay there. Natural Sauna heated from the vulcanous heat! georgeous garden with fruit trees! very warm hospitality by the owner and his team.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything but thoroughly enjoyed the natural steam and jungle that surrounded the place. I did not want to leave. The staff was very friendly and kind as well.
Cons: Can't think of anything I didn't like
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Beautiful view
Cons: Very smelly molded house and dirty bed sheets and towels
