Entertainment - Craig Ferguson Noise in room Slow time to check in. Staff wasn't that friendly
Nothing. When I checked in through online, I asked a quiet room. However, our room was very noisy. The reason was that our room was very closed to a roof of next building, and there are a lot of ventilation openings on the roof, and they are always working and that caused a lot of noise. We asked at a front desk if we can move to another room, our requirement was denied. The noisy sound bothered us all during stay.
The staff was great! Hard to find where to park. Ended up parking in garage and had to walk in with bags. Pool was closed all day for cleaning, but when we finally got to use the pool we found that it was tiny. Why does it take a whole day to clean? Pillow smelled like sweat. Tv was not always working. Woke up in the middle of the night twice with major back pain. After finally getting back to sleep got woken up by construction. We looked up why they claimed to be the #1 casino in the USA and found out a magazine pooled 400 people and out of the 20 casinos that were pre-selected (only one being from Vegas) Pechanga was awarded 1st place. Sounds like the owned paid for that. I do have to say the staff was great the whole time and there are plans to upgrade the pool, but next year we are planning on going to Vegas instead.
Easy for fun and traveling
I liked the wine and the location. Nothing, everything met or exceeded my expectations.
The staff was exceptional. The wine and food were absolutely perfect and worth every penny spent! I only wish we could have stayed longer. Stayed only one night, first time with my hubby since having our first baby! It was perfect to celebrate and have a romantic night away.
This facility is definitely on our list to visit each year. A lot of improvements have taken place over the past year, the service is still excellent, and the experience of our trip is one of our best each year. A great place.
The room and view were lovely. The disconnection of the lodging from the tasting room/restaurant.
Great value for excellent rooms. Cold winter night, nothing better than sitting by a fire place in your very own villa. Didn't like that I can't stay here all the time.
We had a very large room with a great soaking tub. The wine tasting was good and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The massages were very relaxing, but the men and women had separate sides. All the facilities were far apart. The walk to the restaurant and the tasting room did not have a clear path or entrance. The food was average and overpriced.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms Are very nice and spacious. Overall mead my husband enjoyed our stay a lot!
Can't say enough about this hotel and casino - and the pool is amazing!!!! Already planning our next trip....
Rooms ok even though my reservation was fouled up and settled for a 2 bedroom handicapped. Not what i reserved. Staff except for a couple of the women staff trying to accommodate patrons but overall the pool and lazy experience was horrible. I understand holiday weekend but staff should of been prepared. Room took a few calls to clean room were fast the last time i called but was 10 Pm already.overall not worth the money i could of reserved another hotel nicer and cheaper and longer stay.
Harrah's is a wonderful hotel, Love the pool. Just a great place to get away. They can lossen the Slot Machines a little bit, at least enough to play for a while. But I do love this Casino.
The hotel itself was clean and tge staff was very pleasant. Location... if you are planning on staying at the hotel it is just fine. It is kind of a pain to get a group of people somewhere else becsuse they don't offer a shuttle and we had to tatake a few cabs.
Front desk staff waited 25 minutes to be serviced. A joke kept taking Diamond members.
Pros: bed was super comfy, spacious restroom facility with separate shower and Jacuzzi tub, excellent dinner buffet. Cons: On our way to the pool we purchased a drink from the bar in the casino, cup was still full, about to enter pool area and we were forced to chug our drink or pour it out. Of course we managed to drink it! When exiting the pool area, once again we were not allowed to leave without finishing our drink!!! Seriously!!!! We never left the resort, we purchased the drink from THE RESORT bar, and we were NOT allowed to roam freely within the confines of the resort with drink????? What is that????!!!!!!!!! Check-in process was extremely loooonnnggggg!!!!! Come on Harrah's, schedule more employees during prime season when you know you will have more guests!!!!!
The food selection wasn't the greatest. Buffet food was not good and overpriced.
The room was fabulous. All the staff were very nice, happy and helpful! From the front desk, to the housekeepers! Every one deserves a "pat on the back". The buffet was horrible! We paid $30+ per person. Bad food. I was served a large "slab" of prime rib w/ a huge, and I'm not kidding, fist size full of fat in the middle of it. I wished I had my camera. Nothing really had any flavor. My boyfriend called it "army food". He tried the beef taco meat, rice & beans, amongst other things. We did like the cauliflower like an au gratin side dish. OH and don't let me forget to mention Pinks hot dog stand... HORRIBLE! For $5.99, I expected a delicious dog since I never had one from that establishment. I ordered the dog w/ chili w/ cheese. So they take a piece of american cheese and cut it in half and lay it on the bun cold. Then place the hot dog and add chili on top. The cheese never melted, the but was old and crumbly, and the chili wasn't hot enough... hence the cheese should have melted. OMG that was not good!!
The rooms had modern design elements and were comfortable enough for a night's stay. The grounds were very nice and the people performing live music around the grounds were very entertaining. We were lucky enough to have a hotel room complete with its own aroma. It might have been mold but I would more accurately identify it as a human biological odor. Sprayed some foo-foo around the room and went to sleep very late. Left very early. Wouldn't recommend for people with sensitive noses.
The staff was very good--professional and friendly. The room itself was not very clean looking. -- The grout and tiles in the shower was very dirty or stained or both. --The windows were dirty. --The carpeting looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The room itself was older, but that doesn't mean it has to be dirty.
I like that they had great ventilation to the facility. Service was very friendly. there were no signs that identified where to go. starting from parking all the way to check-in. Food was not good at all. Tried their cafe and their buffet.
We love the lazy river & pool If you have kids the Lazy river is all they have to accommodate the little ones, and there's nothing else around outside the casino .
Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, nice, helpful staff. Split bathroom was convenient. The bathrooms ( toilet in one and shower in other) had sliding frosted glass doors at the foot of the beds which would be fine for a couple, but not for our room sharing situation as it afforded no privacy.
The bathroom doors had frosted glass that you could see persons using restroom and no locks was not very private. Room was not very cool and we bough small fans from Target to keep kids comfortable first night. Spoke to front desk in the morning and they immediately sent maintenance staff to check and they moved the bench built over air unit which was preventing air flow which improved room comfort within 10 minutes
Clean, good simple breakfast, convenient location, pickup from the hotel for grapevine wine tour.
Updated rooms, very nice Forgot my shaving cream and front desk was out of stock
Very clean and friendly. Great value for the money easy access to everything , however it was to close to the freeway and there was highway noise all night long. Other than We had a pleasant experience as we always do with any of the marriott hotels Highway noise level all night long
Breakfast buffet saved the overall experience shower had multiple heads, nice for sore muscles the floors and walls had weird stains that looked like blood the floor had a huge wet spot the day we checked in there aren't any bathmats in the bathroom. be careful you will slip! the beds are ok. they had a part where it sunk in and wasn't super comfy weird room set up with the shower and toilet separate and a random room divider separating a couch from the bed.
Clean comfy suite. Great breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay again.
The dual living room and bedroom combined. The breakfast was mediocre.
You need a vehicle to see the wineriea, tour old town, and take a hot air balloon ride. This hotel is right in the city centre with plenty of restaurant choices, drug stores and other shops nearby.
Loved happy hour.. Pool was great..we had a pleasant stay and would stay again. Room was nice ,bathroom was outdated and a bit shabby.
Room size and furnishings were nice and modern. No remote control for living room TV. No microwave. Only one trash can in entire suite. No water glasses.
The location was close to old town front street. Nice hotel, room was clean, and the parking was free :) Room was small and the air conditioner was extremely loud. We had trouble sleeping due to the loud air conditioner. Mattress was a little to hard and pillows were uncomfortable for me. The only reason I wouldn't stay here again is because of loud AC, it needs to be fixed.
Rooms were excellent. Staff was super. Breakfast was awesome.
Cooked to order breakfast was delish, staff was friendly and accommodating, room was very comfortable, and location was perfect for our vacation. Randomly, I also loved the smell of the shampoo and soaps (a little thing that made every day a bit nicer). This was our second time staying at the Embassy Suites in Temecula and, although we really enjoyed our trip last year, we felt that the hotel and service was even better this year. Exceeded our already high expectations! Hot tub wasn't quite hot enough, and we couldnt figure out how to change it - but a very minor complaint in a sea of great amenities and service
Breakfast Happy hour Tub didn't drain properly. Lights didn't work
I liked the breakfast, it was rich small rooms
Great hotel with excellent costumer service, great facilities and perfect location. It was an excellent choice for our getaway weekend.
Patio overlooking vineyards. Lots of Windows and high ceilings. Loved how big and spacious room was. Soaking tub was awesome. Ligh switch lighting placement for patio not right. That's all I got on wrong it was fabulous.
Well appointed, spacious private accomodations. The Deluxe Bungalow was a place you wanted to hurry back to, even if it meant cutting wine tasting a bit shorter this trip. The nightly rate through Kayak allowed this property to be affordable; although final Resort charges still brought the nightly stay up to the $300 range. The Resort would like to be charging over $400, and they may consistently get this when construction is completed. Until that time, it will be fun to watch this delixe off-shoot of neighboring South Coast Winery develop and mature. If you can stay here for under $300 a night, take advantage of it while you can. Wine tasting charges for Resort Guests were only reduced down to $25. While it was a quality experience, a discount down to $15 would have felt more of an ackowledgement to their Guests. These were the South Coast Reserve wines, but $15 a tasting is still a strong charge as "the discount". Comping the tasting with a two bottle purchase would also be appropriate, which they did not offer.
If you're looking for romantic getaway, this is it. The rooms and view were excellent. Free wifi, walkin shower, mini frig, and grape vines off your private patio. The menu was limited.
We loved the accommodations, the staff was helpful. The wine selection was delicious.
Bungalows were unreal and a real surprise from the norm of luxury hotel rooms!
Comfort and style! Good sized room with luxury bedding For the price per night, I think it should include breakfast which cost us an additional $40.00 plus per day (not I including tip).
this is temecula's newest best kept secret! Amazing location and the bungalows are truly the size of one bedroom homes. The bed was absolutely divine and don't get me started on the double head shower and huge tub! Loved it and can't wait to return! The property is brand spanking new so there are a just a few small things they are still working out. SO minor. They should put screens on the windows and doors and a door stopper on the bottom of the door as we have a few pesty flying friends visit us.
The bathroom was amazing Very clean and large bed we stayed in the king bungalow Overall was the perfect birthday with my boyfriend
No breakfast room service and wouldn't allow a to go order from the restaurant, noise of water pipes running, no bath tub, very small room for $400.
Perfect location within walking distance to vineyards. Beautiful grounds. Delicious food at the onsite restaurant. Comfortable beds. No hot tub
Comfortable bed, clean room, pleasant and responsive staff, good breakfast with many selections including healthy choices. Nice area with seating, bar with laptop and cell phone chargers, flat screen TV in lobby/breakfast area. The pool area and inside of the rooms could use a renovation. Freeway was directly behind our room and was a little noisy at night.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and kind. The "continental" breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks all.
Ok breakfast Advertised as having fridge etc. nope. Bathroom door swung completely in room hard to walk around. Room was size microtel. Overall not a marriot quality property
Comfort, location, hospitality
Very cute and comfortable. Excellent location and wonderful host! Room had comfy bed and jetted tub. Water didn't get very hot and the water that was hot ran out quickly
Clean - private love the area!
The place is peaceful and quiet. Hotels are kinda noisy so this place is just Perfect getaway. None
The breakfast was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and free wine tasting. The front desk was very un friendly. They say you get free breakfast but charge you extra fee if you have more then 2 people in a room which is $25 per extra person. This is a very romantic get away, went with girl friends after wine tasting and the hotel really accommodates couples, not much to do if your not on a romantic getaway.
It was a brief overnight stay and everything met my needs
I wanted to drive after work and get closer to San Diego. Temecula is a great town to do that in. All I needed was a good night sleep and Hampton Inn was great. The Bed was terrific and it had a nice TV. We slept great then had a perfect breakfast and left.
It was just an overnight stay but We liked everything. Well definitely stay again
We enjoyed the breakfast and your polite staff. The room was clean andvery well laid out. The comforter on thhe bed was wonderful. You need to have better signs for driving into your drive way for both directions on Jefferson Ave. If I had arrived at night from the North I would not have known to turn into the drive way of your competature and that you had a road way between the two hotels.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was very clean. Breakfast was really good -- lots of variety and quality. Beds were nice. Rooms were quiet. It's right off the freeway, so there was very easy access. No complaints.
Stayed here on business and the staff was friendly, facilities were clean and safe. Wish breakfast was extended a little longer.
The location. The rooms were updated. The breakfast was good. The grey and black decor was not relaxing to me. The halls don't have signs to locate the elevator.
It was convenient that there was a computer and printer at front. They happily faxed a document for me. The freeway was close to outside of my room. It didn't bother me but for those who are noise sensitive might want to request room facing other way.
Good value for the money. Improve the outside seating area.
Nice clean place.
My husband booked a room for me. I arrive to check in and since he is not present and needed to be due to credit card being in his name I can't check in. The reseptionist told me if i were to go through a third party and book a room I wouldn't have an issue then and then I'll be able to check in and stay. So after cancling my $459.00 transaction, I rebooked and spent $544.00 just to be told AGAIN that I cannot occupy the room due to the credit card that I needed to leave on file was in my husbands name. Even after telling me I would be able to stay basically lying to me I was out of $1003.00 till they refund me my money. After all of that I had to figure out a way to get more money to stay elsewhere which was another $400.00. It was an inconvience and a HORRIBLE experience. Will never stay at another La Quainta. And this isn't standard policy. I've been able to check in at other locations without the card holder present. Everything.
It was newer, sparkling clean, easy to find, close to what I needed. It was difficult to reach by phone as the front desk was somewhat understaffed
We stayed on the 2nd floor next to the elevators and the laundry room, we could hear all sorts of noise through all the walls and from above us. They should just keep that room vacant until they put more sound barriers.
The room was very clean, the location was perfect, checking out was fast, decent breakfast, some of the staff was courtesy. Our room wasn't ready at check-in, we got put on the 3rd floor and we were told to try to keep our 3 year old from jumping or making to much noise.
Rooms very clean, beds comfortable, supplies refreshed well. Dining availability-free breakfast. One of the best supplied I've found at the Temecula location. Staff friendly and efficient.
Beds no good.
It was very quiet and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. Hot coffee and warm cinnamon rolls! No vending machines....only over priced drinks and snacks were at the front desk/lobby.
The staff was very friendly, the complimentary breakfast had quite a selection of hot and cold options, and the pool/jacuzzi were nicely heated and clean. The beds felt really small. My three friends and I shared a room with two beds and it was a tight fit.
Gorgeous view Checkout staff was a bit unfriendly.
Our room smelled like cigarette smoke! They were all booked and didn't have a room to move us. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so it was not fun!!
The golf course was very nice and the restaurant was top notch! Very nice property, but I feel the rooms do need upgrading, especially the mattresses.
The location was great, nice, quiet and views were the best The door going into the room had a quirk. Use your key to open the outside door, and you enter an anteroom. There's another door for your room, and a door to an adjacent room, and there was a third door with stairs going down to the room below. We couldn't close the pocket door to close off the stairwell, so that was a little unsettling Probably would have been nice if the receptionist had warned us.
We had a fabulous time with a group of good girlfriends for the weekend. We had some special requests and they really did their best accommodating for us! The hotel made me feel at home and didn't really feel like a hotel. The view were amazing!!! We also ate at the Cork Fire Restaurant and everyone working there was so polite and welcoming! The food was also amazing!! I would definately recommend to anyone!!
Great location. Great food from CorkFire Housekeeping was spotty. Sometimes the coffee/tea/cream was refilled and sometimes it wasn't. Asked to have a pile of "recycle" removed and they said yes but didn't do it. Stuff like that - room was clean.
The view from our room was nice. The restaurant had good good too. The room was not good. They forgot to give us coffee pot and then they forgot the utensils. The omelettes did include toast either.
The grounds and the pool. The walls are paper thin and the check in is too late when attending sunset weddings in the area.
From the minute we turned up the road to get to the hotel, I knew I'd love it! I was not disappointed. We were greeted with welcoming words & were accommodated with a comfortable room. We enjoyed a light bite at the Cork-Fire rustic bar & dining rm.... Xlnt service - even with a crowded room! Would definitely return & recommend to any age demographic! There was a very minor issue with the toilet - it would begin to flush by itself - but honestly we weren't in the rm that mych - if we would've stayed longer I would have complained to the office, but we just shut the bathrm door & it was fine....
The room was huge and comfortable, with a great supply of lotions and shampoos. The bed was really comfortable and I can't wait to come back and stay. The restaurant was wonderful and the food was delicious. The only thing I can say is that the shower was a little out dated but that is no big deal as far as I am concerned.
Nice hotel grounds and room. very relaxing! Line to check in was long and slow.
The cork and fire restaurant is supposed to be extremely nice, so we tried dinner there... it was terrible and on top of that expensive. I wouldn't eat there again, but the hotel itself was nice, quiet and quaint.
Everything is very clean, Staff is friendly Too much security deposit
Internet conection. The time i was there, the wi fi was down. I call technical support twice and they didnt fix it
Loved the breakfast! I never did try the bisquits and gravy but it is there! Honestly between the extended stay holiday Inn and this one I figure at least I'll get a free meal for the same price using kayak. Shower head was nice nice nice! Staff was extremely friendly!!! Breakfast lounge very clean and stocked well! I liked that it is close to freeway not too hard to find. My remote control for the TV was freaking nasty! The pillows are tiny and so are the rooms. The TV was not HD so it was kind of fuzzy.
Not much. Cheap. A lot of potential. Asked for a quiet room. Was put well back from freeway which was a good start. Problem was I was put on ground floor and there was a party above pacing all night long. Creaking floor was so loud it kept me awake all night. Miserable. This property is old and tired and needs a big makeover.ake sure you get a second floor unit.
The lobby The room smelled like old wood, was totally outdated and a disappointment all together. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off the walls. The toilet moved every time I sat on it. The tv didn't work and the furniture was damaged.
I loved how close it was to the wedding we were at. I also liked the beds. I didn't like the fact the bar closes at 10, the shower was dirty, and our toilet barely worked.
Our room was quiet except for the dripping water sounds from the mini-fridge... Our room was overpriced for such a remote location. We don't play golf & it was too cool to use the pool.
We arrived at night so we vouldnt tell but in the morning the place looked nice. But we only stayed one night The room had a bad smell the beds were too high and there were bedspreads and decorative pillows that look like don't get washed or changed the pillows were very flat too. It was an ok experience we only needed for one night. I might stay there again if I can't find rooms somewhere else.
The price good and the room was very clean.
The room we were in had a very efficient use of space. The storage shelves and open platform bed give you an open feeling in a small room. I thought the nice plank look linoleum floor was a good idea. It added to the open crisp look. It's not all smoke and mirrors, the room is functional. Our bed covers both had stains, as did one of the towels. Not dirty, but stained. Our towel bar was in pieces on the toilet. A person with a screw driver could have re installed in under a minute. The toilet is a little close to the door. The sink is pretty but a little small, and thus not that functional.
The staff was great. Tasha at front desk was very kind and very understanding when my friend and I didn't feel comfortable staying there. The guests who were staying at the Motel made us feel very uncomfortable. We did not feel safe being there.
The room really wasn't bad. Everything was clean, modern and updated. Definitely have stayed in worse! Perfectly adequate for what a Motel 6 is meant for. So many sketchy things happened in the 1 night we spent here. Ambulances, screaming tweakers a few hours later...the price obviously attracts a "different" crowd but it was pretty unsettling. Temecula is a nice place, so we were surprised.
New renovated contemporary look with lots of lighting options. Convenient outlets and TV hook ups. Mattress was not up to par. Towels were small and rough. Also no hair dryer supplied.
The staff were exceptionally friendly. Fast check in and out. Staying at a motel 6 you don't expect much to begin with so it met my standards. It isn't until you get there that you realize how nice a comfortable bed would be or the convenience of a microwave or fridge in your hotel room are, things not found at this location. It was fine staying there one night however I would not stay here for extended period of time. Also the cleaning ladies opened our door long before check out time which was disturbing.
good location, enjoyed the pool, reasonable price. Would have been nice to have a refrigerator i n the room.
