The beds were incredibly comfortable, the rooms were clean and spacious. The pool and bar area were great and we were able to join a daily aqua aerobics class in the mornings. The Hotel has a great coffee bar, the bar was open every day (not just the weekend) and food service by the pool was wonderful. There was an issue with one of the guests and his girlfriend by the pool on one afternoon, the male became very loud, swearing, and disturbing other guests. Although security didn't arrive immediately, they were timely enough and escorted him away from the pool area. All the staff were great - very helpful and friendly.
Upon arriving to check in I was told they had my reservation for 3 nights - I originally booked 3 nights but call the next day to change it to 4 nights. I received the cancellation confirmation as well as the new reservation confirmation and then again confirmed just days before traveling. I was told they could accommodate us for the additional night but I would have to pay and I would not receive Travelocity rates. It took 15-20 minutes with me on the phone with my reservation people and them on the phone with their people... but it did get worked out. Just not the best way to start. The lighting in the room was inadequate and the towel bar in bathroom falling off the wall - however, since the hotel in being torn down next month, I understand not fixing every little issue. We got stuck in the elevator for a few minutes because the door wouldn't close all the way - they had been working on it earlier in the day so it apparently wasn't back in proper working condition.
it's close to the places and to see what's in the area and the casino so to me it's just great .
Its close to downtown Palm Springs and there are restaurants nearby.
Front desk told us we'd have to wait an hour and half for our room to be ready and that we could wait by the pool in the meantime. We asked if there were showers at the pool because we had to shower and be at an event in a specific amount of time. She then fumbled around on the computer and let us have a room after telling us 5 minutes before they had no rooms available.
