We have really good breakfast and - almost an exception in the United States - it was almost plastic-free!!!
The Rooms with the little private patio/garden outside. The big and many windows that let the light flow through the room. The whole hotel area felt very private. Like visiting someones house. The fire at nigh just outside our window.
Music on at the pool at all times. It didn’t bother us as much when we stayed in the garden room. But the second time we stayed there and were given a room by the pool it got really tiredsome. The big cheese and meat platter for $30 is very very small.
The staff was lovely! It was super relaxing:)
Staff are helpful and friendly. Chilled and relaxed ambience. Great chill spot
Very clean, and detailed. The staff is friendly.
There was nothing I didn't like.
In beautiful Palm Springs, California, travelers will find quite a bit to do. When they are looking for a place to rest, there are plenty of options for them. One of these options is the Sparrow’s Lodge. This hotel was built in 1952 and was restored in 2013. This is a very quiet and private lodge. There is little technology here because guests are urged to relax and unwind instead of being on the phone or watching television. There are various rooms to choose from such as the poolside rooms, garden view, cabin, or owner’s suite.
Each room comes with queen or king beds, rain showers, Argan toiletries, unique artwork, private patios, and WiFi. Some of the larger rooms do come with full kitchens, and the owner’s suite has a fireplace in the sitting room. None of the rooms have a television or telephone for the simplicity of the Sparrow’s Lodge. There is dining located on-site at the Barn Kitchen. Guests can also relax with a massage from the Massage Tent. They offer many services to guests of the hotel.
When it is time to get out a bit and explore the Palm Springs area, guests of the Sparrow’s Lodge will enjoy many attractions. They can check out the Moorten Botanical Garden, Wet ‘N Wild Palm Springs, many golf courses, Ruth Hardy Park, and the Palm Springs Art Museum.
Guests who genuinely want peace and quiet will enjoy staying here. The rooms are easy to book, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
