Paraty Hotels

The hotel is good. New furniture, new bathroom, good breakfast, but the location is really bad. Far away from the city center of the old town. You need to walk in not a very nice neighbourhood, dark and bad sidewalks. I changed pousadas (hotel) after the first night as I wanted to be close to the city.

The staff were fantastic, very thoughtful and kind, indeed. In addition, all recommendations about things to do in Paraty were spot on. I have fond memories of Bamboo Pousada.

This really is a very nice place to stay. The tasty breakfast by the river is truly beautiful with the mountains in the background & the beautifullly coloured birds at the bird feeder & lovely gardens with a spa. Netto & Isabele did everything they could to make our visit memorable. We didn't have a car but Nettu found time each day to take us into town. It is 15/20 mins walk, worth it for the tranquility you won't find in town. I have a problem walking but we easily got a taxi back for R$15. Believe me the exc. reviews are correct.

The place is really gorgeous, everything is clean, nice and hi-quality. Staff is friendly, although they speak few english. Hotel is situated in the way that you get all the sun in the open space during the day and you need not to leave the place. Atmosphere is very relaxing and soft. They serve home made pizzas, have place for barbecues and etc.

The location of the hotel is quite far from the beach, although the beach of Paraty is not very good and hotel's pool and internal facilities way better than beach, so we even didn't go there.

Nice and cosy B&B with excellent breakfast on the terras overlooking the beautiful garden at the riverside. Bungalows are clean and comfortable although a bit on the small side. City center is only 10 minutes away by bike, which you can rent at the B&B.

Everyone was very friendly and willing to help us out with ideas for our days.

Our room (205) had a bit of a urine smell. We weren't in the room for very long so did not complain or ask to be moved.

The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is excellent.

I liked everything.

Pousada in real life was better than on pictures, which is really unusual. Staff was really responsive even though english is not their strong point (almost nobody speaks). This hotel is great to stay even if it'd be not situated in the historical center of such a picturesque towan as Parati.

The rooms are lovely, very nice place to stay, and very close to the bay
