Trying to submit lost & found report and no way to contact them and link sent from phone logic tree is invalid when selecting my return location.. calling the location directly results in being put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on. Caling the corporate customer service live agent directed me to Avis website.. They are unreachable and it seems like its intentional.Reviewed Oct 21 2024

No way to figure out which shuttle to take to get there. Once there, the upsell was brutal. Gave us a car that smelled like cigarette smoke. Drop off people acted like you were bothering them to be there.Reviewed Oct 20 2024

I arrived at the rental company and the agent was not there. He ended up arriving 10 minutes late. I ended up paying $165 for a car that was quoted $37. The agent insisted that there would be a €1,000 deposit because I booked online and didn't have insurance thru them. However, if he canceled my booking and made a reservation himself, then I would be able to purchase their insurance for €100 in addition to the rental fee and I would still have to pay a €100 deposit. We prepaid for a Tesla 3 and spent $100 more than a regular car, but instead were assigned a small Mustang that didn’t fit our group of 4 plus bags. Payless said Expedia requested a small sports car. We would up being charged $200 extra for a Cadillac sedan in terrible shape (broken parts in interior). Called Expedia and they took a week to say that since we agreed to pay the fee (we had no choice, needed a car) we would not be refunded fed any money. We will never use Kayak or Expedia again after paying close to $700 for a five day rental of the worst car we’ve ever rented. Original price through Hertz was $380 and we are sure it would have been a nisl nice rental car. Miserable experience where we were misled and overcharged.Reviewed Oct 14 2024

Price was fine however the chat had mechanical issues and was poorly maintained from a safety stand point. The car would shimmy if hitting a jump over 50mph. This wasn’t noticed until partway through the rental because the prior renter and or the company had over inflated the tires.Reviewed Oct 14 2024

They should rename themselves to PayMore. I received an extra charge of 112 dollars with no explanation or notice. It was apparently for gas even though I returned the car with a full tank. I was put on an hour long hold to dispute this. Waste of time and no respect for renters.Reviewed Oct 11 2024
