Pros:The return is 24hrs
Cons:The pick up is not easy at all. There is no stand on the airport (like all other companies), for Payless there should be a representative to pick you up. And then you drive. So the description on the website is wrong. Also, they took 1300 Euro guarantee that takes few days to remove.
Cons:I have a serious issue with Kayak due to the fact that i wanted a full insurance on the car, i selected the option from Kayak. On pickup Payless told me that i don't have a full insurance although i paid for it and i have to pay again for insurance or they hold 1000 Euros. It was very misleading from Kayak not to mention that this insurance is indirect and i need to pay for any accidents to Payless and then claim to get my money back. First and last time with Kayak, thanks a lot.
Pros:The Payless employees we dealt with were apparently willing to help and were courteous, however this didn’t really resolve our problems.
Cons:Payless office did not have our reservation in their local system. Their office is not located in the airport terminal as advertised, and when we’ve called their number the gentleman on duty was not expecting us. They didn’t have a car as specified on our contract from Kayak and ultimately offered us a lower category replacement in poor condition, with no price adjustment. We’ve picked up the car shortly after midnight however we’ve been charged the previous day as well. We’ve dropped off the car a day early and again, there was no price adjustment whatsoever.
Pros:I liked the price on kayak and ease of booking They dropped me off in the same car so didn't have to take a shuttle
Cons:The check in took over 1 hour Gas tank was recorded as full when it was 9/10ths The employee bogdan literally yelled at me as they didn't update that I'd be returning the car the next day yet less than 24 hours and try to charge me an extra day. Eventually it was sorted out however, Bogdan threatened to keep my security deposit if I don't pay the extra day. He literally wanted to charge me two days of rental for less than 24 hours. When I showed him on KAYAK that the price is the same at 10 hours or 24 hours he didn't care because it only dependent what was on the reservation which I had adjusted in person since it's a fiasco to do online. It's not my fault for their oversight. Not to mention even the day before when I rented the car, he was yelling to his colleagues back-and-forth. He is completely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company . I also got suckered into paying highway tax and bridge tax, which was higher than the actual cost and I ended up having to pay the bridge tax at the bridge again. No refund given.
Pros:Car ran well, it was clean and got good mileage.
Cons:Remote location with no explanation. We just had to ask around and finally the Enterprise guys called them. On our return, same situation. The guy did come pretty promptly to pick up the car. Paperwork stated there was a 50 e drop off charge. It was 60e.

Cons:You offer a very cheap rent and the insurance is three times the rent, you also offer an insurance and when you get to the place they tell you that it does not work, I had the same experience in Tulum and in Bucharest.

Cons:Kayak said it was on airport and not only was it not on airport, but they didn't have a desk. It all worked out in the end, but I had to ask another rental agency where their desk was and ultimately call them.
