Cons. I will be filing a complaint about mistreatment by hotel staff when I was reporting harassment by a guest
Pros. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet.
Cons. View of a parking garage. Sink did not drain. Breakfast was fair.
Pros. Big spacious clean room in an excellent location. Close to all the dining, drinking, shopping in Old Port.
Cons. There was some construction going on on the floor, rooms being redone, the halls were dusty and smelled from this work, also the wireless connection was very iffy.
Pros. I wanted to catch the ferry to the islands, so it was a great location! Parking was very convenient. and downtown area and shopping was a few steps away. I came up a week earlier that my original reservation, and the staff was able to accomodate me. They were very friendly and professional.
Cons. What was not to like!
Pros. Location is close to harbor yet far enough away to avoid all the noise from Commercial Street. Lots of good restaurants/bars within walking distance such as Fore Street, Duckfat, Street and Company, Vena's, Gritty's and more. Free breakfast.
Cons. Parking isn't free - $15 per night.
Pros. Great value, wonderful room (spacious, modern) we will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Portland!
Pros. I loved the staff, they where friendly and very helpful in giving me directions around town and what cool things to check out. I was not expecting the hotel to have a shuttle service that took me wherever I wanted to go downtown, and the driver was super friendly. My room was incredible, well lit, well decorated with a bag of popcorn waiting for me. I all around enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was good.
Cons. I paid extra for the "seaside" suite - this does not mean it is a view of the ocean. It means it's on the seaside but that your view will be of a fish manufacturing plant. I was a little disappointed that I spent an extra $30 to stare are a fishery.
