Price was good, but hotel is old, no breakfast, spartan room with old furniture, overpriced, problematic vending machines, not enough towels.

Karash, Nov 2017 - Red Roof Inn Raleigh Northeast - Downtown
Pros (+) I don't have the TIME & characters to spell it out...4REAL!
Cons (-) OTHER THAN THE NICE GUY AT THE DESK; NOT MUCH.

D Brian, Aug 2017 - Red Roof Inn Raleigh Northeast - Downtown
Pros (+) I liked checking out and getting out of there!
Cons (-) Hookers and used needles in the parking lot. We saw a drug deal go down on the site. One of the owners was bare foot in the lobby. The sheets are like sandpaper, there was stains on the linens, the A/C sounded like a monster truck rally and there was no iron in the room. This place is just trashy. Don't stay here!

Pros (+) Nice place to stay in the area. Clean room and was in a safe location. Great value for the price. I would stay there again if in the area. Be careful where you stay in this area. I made the mistake of staying at the Motel 6 in this area to save a few bucks and it was very dangerous. Free breakfast but it's oatmeal, fruit and coffee. Cons (-) I can't complain. I'm sure I'll be back next time I work in Raleigh.

Pros (+) I liked the staff, they were very welcoming, and I also liked how the cleaning people did not bother me and were very kind and respectful.
Cons (-) The one thing that turned me off was how dirty the floor was, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in months. This could have been an easy fix if they would have just vacuumed it or mopped it before I stayed in the room. The dirty floor made me feel like everything else in the hotel was dirty, which I don't think was true. But I ended up not even sleeping under the covers.
