Anonymous, Sep 2018 - Red Roof Inn Tampa Fairgrounds - Casino
Pros (+) Front desk staff were fine
Cons (-) Room smelled like mold. Base board under desk had peeled away and a hole was obvious so i was concerned about rodents. I would not stay there again and would pay twice what i paid for a decent hotel. There was this strange duck at the front office air conditioning unit pooping on the sidewalk

Pros (+) Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Well lit lots, stairs & walkways. Linens & bedding clean & fresh. Hard surfaces & appliances clean & tidy. Strong AC. Cable and wifi work well.
Cons (-) Carpet and drapes smell of smoke even in a non smoking room. Smokers stay here too & may smoke near your room (outside) or in an adjacent room.

Pros (+) Bed was good. Close to resturants.
Cons (-) Old, dirty, poor service, noisey A/C. I came to Tampa for a military reunion. It is true you get what you pay for. For an overnight stay this place is passable but for a three day stay it was horrendeous. The staff was good but could have been better. My AC had a horrible rattle in it...imagine a pair of boot in a dryer...and instead of changing my room they replaced the AC 3 times and it still vib...

Pros (+) I liked that it was affordable and the location.
Cons (-) I was very disappointed that it was advertised as having breakfast. To our disappointment they do not offer breakfast. One of the deciding factors to us choosing this hotel was the breakfast option. When I went and spoke to management they said there was nothing they could do and didn't seem to care.
