Pros. The staff is great
Cons. The area is seedy and the other guests who stay at this hotel aren't people you want young children to be around.

Pros. Nice hotel and very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast variety. Although I'm not a fun of the style my wife loved the "lodge style" feeling of the hallways and rooms. Somewhat unique architectural design.
Cons. They cut of my room and building access key 15 minutes before the official noon check out, as I was transporting my luggage from the room to the car thus locking me out of the building (I was in their second building, which is not staffed at the lobby apparently). Therefore access to the building and the room is card access only. I had to call my wife and ask her to bring out the rest of the luggage since I couldn't get back in. It was either that or have to walk back to the main lobby in a different building and ask them to reactivate my card. Also while this is not the hotels fault I'm not impressed by the fact that you pay three tolls to get from downtown Richmond to the hotel
Pros. This hotel occupies a beautiful old brick building. We appreciated the choice of a decent hotel with comfortable beds that is also pet friendly - thank you Best Western. Staff is kind, helpful and breakfast choices good.
Cons. Found 2 live roaches in my room. Notified staff who were willing to relocate however no other rooms were available. Suggested construction workers were likely culprits for bringing bugs into room.
