Pros: Our first time in Vermont with my husband and we couldn’t ask for a better visit staying at the Lang House. Our stay was so relaxing and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Next day, we had breakfast in bed which was absolutely so delicious and fresh. Both my husband and I decided the Lang house was the highlight of our trip. The staff and ownership were so nice and accommodating. The soaps and toiletries in the bathroom were awesome-smelled great. Our room was immaculate ( we stayed in Hayward) and the bed was extra comfortable. Loved every minute of our stay.

Staff was very helpful all around and also in carrying up our luggage to our room on the second floor. Small guest refrigerator (shared by all guests) was a bonus.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms, pet friendly, great value, everything is modern and clean, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff. Just outside of downtown but for that you get very large suites and there's a 24 hour free shuttle service to any location within 5 miles and they pickup / dropoff on demand, just call. It's about a 5-8 min drive to downtown. The in suite kitchen's are also fully stocked with a full size fridge, pots and pans, silverware, sink and even a dishwasher. Feels like you're at home if staying for a few days.
Cons: To have a pet stay with you it's an extra 50 a night which which can add up and get expensive given the hotel price. I feel a one time pet cleaning fee would be more appropriate. I cleanup after my pet and there is no big mess.

Pros: Staying at The Stagecoach Inn was a very comfortable experience. The relaxed, historical atmosphere made the stay extremely enjoyable. The breakfast was superb!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint Victorian style home. Bed was extremely comfortable with 3 layers of a nice country quilt, blanket and sheet. Comfy living room with plenty of reading material. Also a pleasant surprise.... small bar, if you need a mixed drink/wine and don't want to leave the property. Breakfast included which means a continental breakfast and made to order cooked breakfast. Walking distance to a lovely downtown!!!
Cons: Nothing!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was spectacular.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great and the staff is very friendly!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. A quaint set up right in historic Waterbury, just minutes (on foot) from excellent bars and restaurants. We had a 2 bedroom ‘suite’ which was more like a small apartment, which was perfect for our family. The breakfast was really good - a buffet of pastries and fruit to tide you over until your cooked items were made to order.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful Breakfast, Staff, awesome location and lovely host that went way above and beyond to make our short stay wonderful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old stagecoach inn with beautiful decor. We were in Room 7 on the top (3rd floor). It was spacious and lovely. We had a King bed and two twins, wooden ceiling beams, a skylight, a sofa and lots of books to enjoy. We had fun spotting stars through the skylight and greatly appreciated the window A/C unit and the ceiling fan. Everything was clean and there was plenty of hot water. The free breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time and we took advantage of the opportunity to eat outdoors on the porch. It was a perfect place to stay.
Cons: The bathroom was clean and the towels were thick and fluffy. However the shower stall was too tiny to bend my head over and wash my hair. I know it’s hard fitting modern amenities into older homes, and we definitely appreciated the private bathroom, but the shower stall could definitely be a little wider. The rest of the house did not have A/C. Those with mobility issues should know there are no elevators.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a little expensive, but it looked great, was filling, and tasted fine.
Cons: The TV appeared washed out, And part of the screen was blocked by the lamp. The shower was COLD until I learned how to operate the control. It would have been nice if the shower head was directed away from the door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was lovely, so we could walk across the street to the waterfront and enjoy the sunsets. Also the Hen of the Woods restaurant right next door was fabulous. Hotel itself is super cute and had more amentities than expected and tons of great little touches. Staff was above and beyond fabulous, front desk was wonderful and friendly, and every floor had a coffee/tea station and a machine to dispense flat and bubbly water for your room. This is like a 5 star hotel in a small town, with tons of special amenities. Also loved the robes and the bathroom amenities from a local company, delicious. Plus the cute blanket rolled up on the bed, that you can take to the waterfront for chilly sunsets!
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming and very well run.Hosts were very accommodating and go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. This includes the 3rd innkeeper, the beautiful dog Niko.loved this place.Highly recommended.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host made us welcome immediately with a short tour of the house and its amenities. He was chatty, providing local information that made our stay much more interesting and easier than finding the same information on our own or not even knowing about some of the spots that he pointed out.
Cons: There wasn't anything not to like about the place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great ambience, rooms were comfortable. Beds were comfortable and clean. Inn keeper was friendly. Very sell-behaved dog.
Cons: We didn’t stay for breakfast either day we were there. They served at 9 am and we are early risers. Coffee and tea didn’t come out until 7 am. We were up and gone by 7:30. Doesn’t appear as if there were vegetarian options on the menu, though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything really, very friendly dog, very well equipped (netflix, television, pool table, balconies, hammocks ) amazing breakfast. Very relaxed and accommodating owners. There were few guests that weekend, so the owners upgraded us to rooms further away from the common areas. Close to Waterbury, Burlington and Montpellier and close (by car) to many good restaurants. Located right in the middle of nature. Seriously, go there if you like nature.
Cons: Nothing negative, but a suggestion: The b&b would benefit of a « pay attention to the dog » sign, so as to avoid any car collision. The dog is extremely friendly and welcomes other dogs and customers and does not bark. My girlfriend who is not a dog person actually enjoyed playing with Neko.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were delicious and very nutritious. Hostess grew and cooked them herself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Duane and Leah were great and we enjoyed their company along with other guests. Neko was sooo sweet! The room was beautiful and we were very comfortable. We will definitely try to go back someday. Lovely stay.
Cons: Can’t think of anything we didn’t like. Great visit!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely property tucked up in the hills. The collectibles were incredible and super fun! Leah is a wonderful inn keeper. This is a super cozy and funky place with a great vibe. I will definitely recommend to others and can’t wait to come back!
Cons: I would have preferred a gate on the back deck outside my room. Especially with my dog, it would have been nice to let her out without worrying about her escaping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We are regulars here, and we will be back. Our room this time was just renovated, and was just wonderful. Duane and Leah are the best hosts. And Niko.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it :) The breakfast was great and so were the hosts.

Loved the cleanliness, decor and size of the room and bathroom. Also a bonus was admission to the drive-in movie theater next door with our stay. Pros: The room was well appointed and although we stayed for only two days, it’s ideal for longer stays.
Cons: I was surprised that there are no room safes anywhere in the hotel as confirmed by the front desk. Travelling with passports and would have liked a safe place to keep them. Wrongly assumed this was a standard feature. Alarm clock needed a good dusting but the room was very clean otherwise.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast & pool warm
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was conveniently right off the highway. Beautiful property with a very pretty covered bridge with a short walking trail. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable! Staff was very friendly and had warm fresh cookies in the main lobby. Lots of things to keep everyone entertained! Small game room, and a big tv room with tons of books, tic tac toe, checkers, puzzles. All in all it was a great stay!
Cons: The hotel is very clean & beautiful but the moment we walked into our room it smelled very musty or moldy. The hill to the hotel is on a very steep incline and my husband & I came in on a motorcycle so that was very tricky getting in and out of the hotel parking lot from the light. Those are my only drawbacks from our stay.

Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best breakfast we've had in a hotel. The only disappointment was that the yogurt machine was broken the second day.
Cons: In the mountains of Vermont our view was the roof of part of the building and a parking area. My wife would have liked a microwave.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was decent. That's about it.
Cons: The room was humid, and musty. The bed felt greasy, and moist. I wouldn't stay there for free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing! The best part would be Denise, she was super friendly, and worked very hard to keep everything absolutely perfect! I want to come back just to see her!
Cons: The one thing that I would have liked would be a smartTV in the bedroom. Having access to netflix and other streaming sources beats regular TV any day.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is beautiful and noise free. Great Experience
Cons: Easy access and quiet
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, polite staff, good experience. Would recommend

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very private efficient apartment overlooking the Winooski River. It is impeccably clean, many thoughtful touches, including excellent lighting. It is located a block from a small, but lively, food scene in Winooski.
Cons: Can't think of anything that would make it better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough for us - even offered to drive us to the airport. Large modern luxurious accommodation. Although breakfast not included, they provided a range of locally sourced items such as granola, fruit, juices, toiletries etc. Great range of books & games as well as artworks on the walls. Close to very nice restaurants - a quick walk across the bridge. A little way out of center of town but regular local bus service if you don't have a vehicle.
Cons: Only wished we could have spent more time there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for us...near Intervale ...near downtown...next to Pingala cafe, and on a river. Clean and spacious. Friendly hosts. Doesn't get better than that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Airy, large, high quality, artsy, environmentally aware.
Cons: Some people might take this as a big plus. I know when I was much younger I really liked a forceful shower. But I am older now and would have liked to moderate the water force.

Pros: Very nice place and a better deal than the motels closer to the airport. Beautiful yard and woods in the back. rooms were great. Was unsure of the distance but only took 14 min to get to Airport so will use on next trip for sure
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was simply furnished, with old-style coverlets, and very clean. Clean is what I look for first in a room, whether at a drive-in motel (or which this was a charming example) or a 4 star hotel. It had a nostalgic vibe that reminded me of hotels when I was a kid.
Cons: My friends said the air conditioner in their room was loud, and kept going on and off all night and made it difficult to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was neat and clean, and it looked like it was recently refurbished. Also, the exterior looked recently refurbished. The '61 T-Bird parked in front of the office added to the retro feel. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Ideally located near the Shelburne Museum and Shelburne Farm.

4.3 Okay
Cons: Property is in serious need of updating. Room wasn’t ready at 3:00 and when we finally checked in to the room the linens on the bed were dirty. Mattress felt like it was 50 years old. They did come in and change the bedding after we complained. No apologies given. Nothing seemed clean about this hotel. It is old, dirty and depressing. I would never stay here again even if it were free. I absolutely can’t understand the high rating of the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent - food selection to satisfy all tastes. The staff at reception were exceptional - United Airlines lost my husband's luggage. We were in Burlington Vermont for a memorial service for our nephew - so it was imperative that we got our luggage as our clothes for the service were in it or at least establish where it was. This required us to make many calls both local and international -we had to use the phone at the reception desk this did not pose any problem for the staff. The luggage did not arrive which necessitated my husband having to purchase new clothes for the duration of our four day stay in Vermont.
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent

Pros: We stopped her on our way from Va to Montreal and had such a relaxing stay. This is a lovely property with an incredible view. The owners are very friendly. It was still cold when we were there so we did not get to use the deck - but we plan to go back when we can! Highly recommend.
Cons: nothing
