Cons: Breakfast was the worst!!! I mean the worst!!! Eggs & so call veggie sausage. Watered down orange juice.

Pros: The staff is amazing. Usually you find 1 or 2 exceptional people at a hotel; everyone I have experienced - from front desk to cafe to janitorial staff - is amazing.
Pros: Starbucks in the lobby. Variety of restaurants and shopping close by. Close to freeway but not too close. Free paper in the morning. Desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Great gym.
Cons: Pool was small. No microwave in the room. Starbucks in the lobby did not offer my wife's favorite drink, so still had to visit a Starbucks. No continental breakfast. Elevator was slow n noisy. Other staff was accommodating but not overly friendly or happy
Pros: Very well kept. Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Convenient location.
Cons: I booked a king room and was given a room with 2 double beds. I passed on another hotel that was $10 cheaper because it only offered 2 double beds. Explained to the clerk, he said he did not have any other rooms.
Pros: friendly staff, resturaunt and bar was just what we needed after a long day of travel. We wanted 2 rooms but the hotel was sold out so the front desk Rep. accomidated us with a larger room & pullout bed already made for us and it was very comfortable
Pros: Very clean room and friendly staff.
Pros: Staff as soon as we walked in the lobby. The layout of the lobby/bar area. Our room was excellent and wished we could have stayed a few more nights. Check in/check out so easy. Loved It!!!
Cons: The bar closing at 10PM may have been the only downside of our visit.
Pros: Location, staff, overall experience.
Cons: The toilet wasn't cleaned in the first room, BUT went back down to the front desk and the clerk was very, very apologetic and put me in a clean room with complimentary beverage.
Pros: location, room size
Cons: A little noisy from other guests
The food should be price more reasonable.
Pros: The public spaces were very good.
Cons: i booked a room with a king bed, and I didn't get the room that i booked.
Pros: Quiet, late check out, friendly staff
Cons: Scratchy towels, no extra amenities, cost more then comparable hotels with nothing above standards to set them apart.
Will definitely stay here again if I need to.
Pros: This was my first time staying at a Marriott Hotel. Decided to stay here because the Hilton was $--- more per night. I'm glad I stayed, friendly staff and very clean room with plenty of towels!

Pros: We got out of our test earlier than expected and went to the hotel and asked if we could check in early , about noon. The lady who was at the front desk said sure and gave me an accessible room next to the rear door that was perfect for my needs.
Cons: The ice Maker in the fridge was turned off and the bin empty but the front desk staff went right to the kitchen and got me my bin full for my medical ice cooler machine. The staff was very helpful and responsive to my needs.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, safe, private and attractive.
Cons: Marriott might try something else for breakfast
Pros: Rooms had sufficient dishes in the kitchen
Cons: Staff was EXTREMELY inflexible with us and would not let us keep the same room after paying upfront for 3 weeks staying there. Made us move all of our stuff. Rude and discourteous staff. Ruined me towards marriotts altogether. DO NOT recommend the hotel.
Pros: The TV had an hdmi port
Cons: Staff was rude and unprofessional. Do not go there and expect to be treated like you would at any other Marriott in the world. Hotel employee at the front desk is rude and not helpful and the operations manager doesn't help much either.
Pros: Newly redone room. Great(and safe)neighborhood. Everything is clean and maintained. Staff very courteous/professional. Exercise room is open 24 hours which was very helpful at 11:30PM. Free breakfast was very good, lots of choices but not an award winner.
Cons: New sofa is not soft. No pull close shaving mirror. Need light over the kitchen sink. The only light is overhead and you cast a shadow over the sink when using it. Door lock worked only after many tries or even with a new card. High price for Saturdaynite
The hotel has comfortable, spacious rooms and is newly updated. There is a medium size pool, tables outdoors with a nice area for lounging. The hotel employees, were very courteous, checked on me to make sure everything met my expectations! The hotel is located in a convenient and safe business area. It was quiet durning the night. A nice plus is the complimentary continental breakfast and evening light meal with beer, wine and assorted beverages. I would return without hesitation if in the area again.
Pros: This hotel is located near restaurants, some shopping and has easy access to the freeway. They offer a nice continental breakfast in the morning, and a light meal in the evening at no extra charge. The room was spacious, clean, and newly updated.

Pros: I was surprised how nice the rooms were for a 'Holiday Inn.' I haven't stayed in one for ove 25 years, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Cons: Do they need to vacuum outside the room at 8:30 a.m.?
Pros: Hotel was nice and the staff was very attentive and courteous. Would recommend.
Cons: Close to the freeway, a bit noisy.
Pros: Very nice hotel.
Pros: It's so clean and the rooms are so well appointed. I love this place.

Cons: Very noisy. Heard the people next to us and above us like they were in our room. The train would go by every few hours throughout the night and I was woken up three times from the whistle.
Pros: Ease of check-in and check out and the cleanliness of the room.
Pros: Comfortable rooms / beds.
Cons: Noisy (near train tracks).
Did not have the room we anticipated on late arrival (despite calling ahead to advise re flight delay).
Pros: Very clean, nice room. Service was superb; very courteous personnel. I forgot to give my key to the valet and (after calling to confirm) he came upstairs to get it rather than asking me to bring it down. Excellent. Also, I get the feeling that this is the nicest hotel in Modesto area; the locals all seemed impressed that I was staying there lol.
Cons: It's RIGHT next to the train tracks, and a loud train comes by at least once an hour at night. They provide earplugs for guests, but I recommend asking for a room that's NOT facing the tracks.

Pros: The price seemed right, but... and the front desk clerks were nice.
Cons: The property was a bad patch job of its former self (changed names over the years). Needs a complete renovation. Building security doors don't work. Carpets are stained. AC unit was loud and rattling. Service requests made by us through, the front desk, were not responded to. The bed seemed old and soft. There is much more.
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: No refrigerator
Pros: Our family was just passing through on our way to Disneyland, it was my husband and I with our two year old. We had a nice big room and was able to have breakfast in the morning. We checked in really late but they didn't mind at all. The receptionist was very polite and asked if we need anything. It was a wonderful stay, and truthfully would ask for this hotel again when we go back!
Pros: Spacious room with large desk area. King bed was comfortable. I asked for a room with mini fridge and mircrowave which was nice to have. Great wifi connection. Great location, lots of restaurants nearby.
Cons: As I have read in other reviews, there is way too much air freshener being used on carpets/rooms. Carpet was dirty looking though ? They just try and cover up the smell I guess ? Only other thing was Very thin walls, you can hear everything.
Overall it is a decent place to stay for the price and location. Would probably stay here again.
Pros: Breakfast and Wifi Included.
Good location (next to WinCo, In N Out)
Cons: Towels could've been cleaner but overall it was a clean hotel.
Located off Highway 99 and within range of Yosemite National Park, the Ramada Modesto hotel is well situated near downtown, Blue Diamond Growers, Stanislaus Food Products, and Del Monte Foods, as well as Gallo Center for the Arts, McHenry Mansion, and John Thurman Field. Merced Regional Airport (MCE) and San Jose International Airport (SJC) are within range, as well as Memorial Medical Center and Doctors Medical Center. Guest rooms feature flat-screen HDTV, coffee and tea maker, and ergonomic work station. Rooms with microwave and mini-refrigerator are available for a nominal fee, as well as suites with hot tub.
Cons: Food was left in frig from previous guest. Light in door entrance did not work and I would not choose this hotel for its free breakfast...not that great.
Pros: Very pretty lobby and staircase.
Pros: Very clean hotel with great accommodation for a baseball tournament with kids!
Cons: Only down fall is pool is very small. For a hotel being out in the hot valley, you would think the pool would be larger than spa.
Pros: Room was well equipped.
Cons: Not enough parking to handle guest. Parking spots were smaller than compact. There were ants in the bed in the morning.
Pros: very clean rooms
Pros: Smaller hotel so it seemed less hectic. Location to freeway is great. A nice choice of restaurants to eat at just outside the hotel door.
Cons: Allows pets on the first 2 floors in all rooms. Every time I went out the room there was a person with a dog in the hallway, elevator and lobby. Its not that I do not like pets, there were just too many and made me feel a little uncomfortable.
Pros: The room was nice, there were restaurants and stores within walking distance. We stayed 2 nights. Hotel was clean, breakfast was we expected, eggs, sausage, cereal..the usual. Our stay was good no complaints. We would stay here again.
Cons: Can't think of a thing. There was a large group with noisy kids but we closed our room door and it was pretty sound proof..we really liked that.
The hotel is a very nice hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The hot breakfast included with our stay was excellent.
Pros: The location was perfect for my needs and amenities were excellent. The customer service was outstanding.
Pros: Upon arrival I was told that I was upgraded to a better room (no charge) because the room I had been assigned to had been a smoking room.
Cons: There was remodeling construction going on and it seemed to go later in the day than one would expect. Lots of hammering in the room adjacent to my room.
Cons: Got stuck in the elevator f9r roughly 15 mins. Fire department was called to rescue. Horrific experience. They offered no kind of compliments in return. Definitely not going back there again!!!!
Pros: The hot breakfast was one of the best breakfast's that I have ever had at a hotel with scrambled Eggs, pork sausage links, and hashbrowns, plus everything else usually included in a continental breakfast. Friendly accommodating staff. Top marks with us.
Cons: Carpets in the room were stained, and the tub could have been recaulked, but I'm sure those will all be taken care of when the current renovation is finished
Pros: Big room and really clean place! Eventhough this place is 2.5 star, it worth 3 or more.
Cons: Nothing at all.

Cons: Location isnt really ideal for anything other than passing through unless you are there on business.

Pros: The staff here were extremely friendly and accomidated out late arrival very well. We were concerned about having our bikes stolen which were on our car so they let us leave the car parked in the security camera view right up front. They also offered to hold the bikes in the back for us on our return stay (after coming back from Yosemite). Nice rooms and amenities. Used pool and hot tub and which were nice.
Cons: Only negative which didn't really bother us were the noisy refrigerators in the rooms. They ticked like a clock.
Pros: Nice hotel, an OK breakfast. Waffles good, eggs not so much. Easy check in and check out. Right off the freeway which was nice. Good hotel for the price, would most likely stay here again.
Cons: Would let us check in thirty minutes early. check in was at three, tried to check in at two thirty, had to leave for a wedding at three thirty so we had to start changing in the parking lot. Staff wasn't the friendliest, but wasn't that bad either.
Pros: Staff was great even with two teenage boys running around. Gave us larger room without even asking.

Cons: The hotel doubles as college dorms when school is in and can become loud.
Pros: The view was nice
Cons: The towels were dirty and looked like they had blood on them. There were no shampoos in the bathroom and the conditioner bottles were empty. Looks like they didn't do a room service. The walls are not soundproof and you could hear the next door guest talking on her phone at 5 AM. Very noisy place.
Pros: Room was clean and seemed updated. Full size fridge in room. Nice bar, lunge and restaurant. Pool/spa is usable. There is an outdoor area with artificial grass with lots of seating. Thats a great place to relax outdoors. Pool table and ping-pong table are a nice touch too. Staff was friendly and were quite accommodating with early checkin / late checkout.
Cons: Location and folks in and around the waterfront park look a little dicey. Fortunately, with all the options at the hotel you dont really need to step out.
Pros: The room was great. Very clean, modern, and welcoming. Will definitely make my way back; as long as a great deal comes up again.
Cons: I could tell the receptionist was having a rather hectic day, and was a little snappy. Can't do much about peoples attitudes, but that was a little offsetting. Maybe some more support for her from her staff would have alleviated the load.
Pros: Nice and clean with secure parking lot. Nice sized room with comfortable beds. Nice grounds with waterfront view of a waterway. Nice outdoor sitting areas with comfortable lounge chairs and fire pits. Great place for some conversation and an evening adult beverage
Pros: Nice Blue wallpaper in Bathroom
Nice Blue Bedding
In summer, courtyard would have been great for reading outdoors
Big refrigerator and microwave
Double paned sliding doors
Good enough if all you want is a fairly decent place to stay overnight.
Cons: Too modern a feel, IE: no carpeting, only cream colored ceramic tile, very cold looking, not to mention hard cold surface to walk on.
No dresser, small 48" desk with 3 small drawers
No chair to sit in, small bench only
1 tiny hook in bathroom to hold towels, only hand towels would fit due to smallness of hooks.
No hook/towel racks for bath towel, had to put bath towel on floor next to shower as had a 3/4 clear glass partition to keep water in the shower which went to ceiling so couldn't hang towel on that.
Receptionists were nice, but gave no information on parking, if there was a restaurant on sight, I had to ask.
Hall carpet very dirty and stained throughout the whole hallway.
Top floors rented out to University students. Possibly in summer, regular customers have access to those, better view I'm sure.
Extremely strong disinfectant smell throughout the hall and in the room, a BIG turnoff.
Neighborhood kind of iffy, homeless man was walking across the entrance outside when I arrived
Shower mat too long and covered the drain hole in the center of the shower, had to move it around to drain the water as I showered.
A little hard to find location
The bright stainless steel faucets in bathroom had spots on them were they hadn't been wiped clean.
Doubtful I will stay here again. The cons outweighed the pros
Pros: The courtyard/pool area was pretty. Our room was comfortable.
Cons: It was okay for an overnight stay on a road trip after12+ hours on the road, but it's in a bad, rundown (scary) area. We almost kept driving, but had prepaid for our room. It was so noisy that we had to keep the fan and a/c on all night to drown out the loud music and we weren't able to get much sleep.
Pros: Stockton has a great waterfront and this hotel captures that beauty. We stayed in the "King Suite", and it was roomy with an abundance of windows. Newer style is nice and the staff was nice, but not very competent. Asked for a late check out and it was granted after more than two calls.
Cons: Stay here at your own risk -- this is not the kind of place you'd want to venture out and walk around. The "King Suite" is basically two separate rooms at the end of a hallway. The room looked like it had been unkept and most of the carpet is stained.. and we found small bugs on our bedding (after we'd slept there). There's a hallway light that is part of the main lighting system, so it never turns off. Older style toilet, ours overflowed twice.
Pros: The room was very nice, comforters a bit big, but overall very nice. Huge bathroom, wow.
Cons: Location. Other than being next to the waterfront and directly across the street from the coliseum, the location was horrible. The limited menu in the inside restaurant with the high prices was discouraging. Tried to go find something close as an alternative, not. The delapitated downtown section offered no real alternatives for food options. So, reluctantly having no feeling of choice but to stay at the hotel to eat and paying 40 dollars for a quick lunch was a bummer.
Pros: The waterfront is located near a college/crime area yet it provides the security and serenity. The room deposit and the cable selection is not good... But if completely bored and you don't want to go to the movies rent the one you most want because your paying a couples price!!
Cons: I don't like that the clerks seem to harbor the rooms with a view even with prepaid reservations. In fact one clerk blatantly lied and on my next trip the new clerk was extremely nice. The two men clerks are not personable at ALL
Pros: Everything was great!!!!!

Pros: It was convenient for me. I was there for a real estate class and it was also at the hotel. All the hotel staff was great. Except the manager in the Hotel restaurant.
Cons: Yes the restaurant inside the hotel. The food was OK but the manager was so rude. I ended up getting charge for the same meal twice. She wouldn't do anything about it or listen to me. For that reason I will not go back. She is awful even to employees
Pros: check in was quick cause there was no line. confy beds, linen and towels that felt new! had a nice swim in the am too!
Pros: I've been to Stockton several times in the past few years. This was my first stay at the Hilton. The main reason is location. So many convenient eating, drinking, and shopping places within a five minute drive make the after work time pleasant.
Pros: Very nice. Luxury hotel for sure.
Cons: No problems at all.
Pros: Nice lobby
Cons: No cleanliness, no microwave in the room, close or open the door make so much noise.
Pros: Indoors quiet secluded!!!  she's awesome!!! She made me feel comfirtable and personable 😃
Cons: Short staff @ rest bar on a Friday night.
Pros: Great beds!
Pros: Nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Pros: nice setting
Cons: poor restaurant and poor check in people across the board
Pros: Was in nice area very friendly hotel. Staff was very nice.
Pros: Good location, parking was well-lit. Easy and fast check in.
Pros: The comfortable bed and cleanliness
Cons: The staff seemed either incompetent or did not care.

Pros: I noticed in their pictures online that it had been remodeled. Everything looked clean and modern. Great place for being on a budget. Also the breakfast spread is a very nice bonus.
Cons: Whoever remodeled the place had some bad craftmanship especially in the shower.
Also, be prepared for freeway noise, and I was right next to housekeeping which is noisy as they start work at 9am( I arrived very late and was looking to sleep in)
Pros: Staff was friendly. Check in was quick which was significant since there was a line of several people ahead of me when I arrived. Room was clean and breakfast was good. No issues.
Pros: Friendly staff and tremendous breakfast
Cons: Lukewarm shower and malfunctioning door locks were unwelcome surprise.

Pros: The pictures definitely make it see that this hotel has it all together, I had a "suite" and this place was definitely not a cool looking suite like in the picture. They try to sell yea on a modern room but I felt a little dirty after sleeping in the room. The bathroom was in bad shape. Toilet seat was broken, paint breaking a long the edges of the bath and no shampoo or other items included. The BestWestern in Turlock is way better.
Pros: Overall best hotel we've ever stayed in,good customer service ,great rooms,#1 for breakfast
Pros: Very comfortable with a pool and spa. Excellent free breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: This hotel should hire a competent maintenance supervisor! The bathroom needed repairs and the workmanship of prior maintenance was very poor. The carpets in the hallway and stairs are badly stained and felt dirty.

Cons: I would like it if the pool area was open later and checkout was later than 11am, but it's not abnormal hours so it's do-able.
Pros: Very clean quiet and roomy room, will make a return visit
