The room was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly. On premise parking is a plus.
Location was good - between manhattan and great neck. very comfortable but pretty worn out looking
Location The beds were the most uncomfortable......
The room was clean and very comfortable, bathroom was new. The breakfast room was not well kept, but it may have been because I was there as breakfast was ending.
Hotel staff were very helpfull in giving directions and info about area and how to get around. Made our trip to the city less intimidating. Hallway leading up to room and the room smelled of smoke. Was really bad the first night. Almost asked for a different room.
Many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Close to train station from where trains run directly into New York Penn Station via NY Mets baseball stadium. Free internet use. Staff helpful. The hotel was full and we didn't get a non-smokers room and could tell the difference, although nothing bad enough to spoil our stay.
the front desk staff. I found it to be so far away fron city and was not aware of that.
Nice room...spacious' clean and very comfortable
Professional. Clean bedlinen every day. Within our budget. No complaints about anything.
Clean and rish breakfast. The location is not what we had expected.
the air blowing from the a/c smelt like feet. no tv. over priced
Very good location, easy trip mith subway to manhattan, superb view to Manhattan skylines, enough cheap, clean, polite personnel
Price and the fact that had a room open Staff very unwelcoming. Sheets had stains on them and not mention the huge stains on the carpet. Shower conditioner was used by last guest. Upon check in was told extending would be no problem the next day, just to call down and be told no then forced to check out with housekeeping banging on my door every couple mins asking me to leave. Overall, if you seen the movie, room 1408, I was there.
The room was filthy. Linen was dirty. Couch was broken. Yes there was running water but not much more.
Good location close to subway station and shord distance to Manhatten, good wi-fi, friendly staff small room for breakfest
Great location. Extremely dirty, service was awful, the room smelled.
Quiet ambient, good breakfast, convenient location and easy to reach. To me there is no bad point at all.
The hotel was very clean and ideally located near a subway station. From the station it took us 12 minutes to take the direct connection to Times Square. The hotel was very nice, but the neighbourhood was not so great. We never felt unsafe though. But we knew this in advance and the connection to Manhattan was very good and the hotel was affordable because it was not located in Manhattan.
No parking. When I asked the desk for a 15 minute late checkout he said "do you know you're like the tenth person to ask me for that today?" My reply was "so is that a no?" In the end I checked out at normal time and housekeeping wasn't even on my foor.
Convenient location, close to the subway, room well equipped and very clean, staff was very helpful breakfast room is very small and crowded
The rooms were very clean and overall very nice - either new or recently remodeled. There is not a place to 'check' your luggage other than the lobby if you get in early or are leaving later than checkout time.
Hotel is close to subway station and bus lines.Staff are friendly.Continental breakfast is provided; however, if you prefer a hot breakfast, there are several nice eating places within walking distance. Rooms were quiet. There is also a fitness room and access to a computer.
Although in a remote location it was close to subway
Very nice location close to the subway, and close enough to JFK.
Breakfast is good Smell of room
Staff very arrogant: did not say hello when you arrived back to the hotel. They promised early breakfast because we had to leave before 6 am. However, when we went into dining room before 6, they unpolitely saying that breakfast starts at 6 o'clock. Only after reminding that the breakfast was promised for us there found something to give.
Every thing nothing
Very good location, can easily access the subway the room is dark... seems we live in half-basement
staff were very nice. internet was available . it was close to Jamaica Hospital view!
The service was very good.
There is nothing good to say about this hotel as they failed with our booking. We have used booking.com for many years to book hotel rooms in Europe and many times also in usa, but this was the first time we arrived to a hotel and they did not have our booking and no room for us. Your booking for this hotel does not guarantee that you will have a room there. We arrived at 6 pm, they had overbooked their hotel explaning that they do not have our booking. When calling to booking.com it was clear that the hotel was just overbooked and they do not check their booking records. Even though new hotel was provided it caused extra expenses and stress to travel (in an unofficial taxi) through dark Queens area. Already the location of this Clarion hotel itself was scary enough. It is also noisy during nights: like sleeping on the highway (we stayed later one overnight here: did not have booking documents either although we had done that also).
orderly and without hinderance
What i like the most about is that everyone is so friendly and helpful. The staff was even friendly when i call to inquire some information before booking this hotel. I recommended this hotel to several people already. I will be back soon. Love Curacao no
quiet, pleasant. I did not find a hair drier, but is okey
The stuff at the reception was friendly and helpfully in every way. The neighborhood is not so bad as some described it. The bed was pretty good. Room could have been cleaner. Little smelly in the Hotel. As already mentioned really thin walls...
A failed attempt to make your run of the mill sleazy motel motel into a hotel
What I didn't like was the room smelled like smoke and I ask for a non smoking room I had children with me we smelt like smoke leaving
Large bed, cable TV Can't open the window and... the room smells too much chemical spray.
Very close to the bus stop to take you to new york
I stayed for a night in Capri Inn.It was very affordable and decent. The room was large and had microwave and refrigerator also. It was worth for the price.
I liked that it was not too far from Manhattan with the express bus across the road. They should act more professional. And clean the bathrooms a lot better! That would help a lot.
It was a cheap place to go for a night Was a bit dirty
Breakfast was never available
Responsible. Free breakfast and parking. Clean sheets and blankets.
Very good hotel! Would definitely come back if I return to the area.
hair in sink and old towel left in room......
Love the fact the rooms are so big and the staff is always so good to us will always go back to the hotel !
Staff was friendly, free breakfast was good, rooms very trendy, clean, plenty Of free parking One complaint the bathroom smelled moldy from the drain on floor
Great staff especially the new Manager Hudson. Loved loved the seafood all you can eat buffet restaurant and the foot massage sevice was Devine! Unfortunately the air conditioner in my room was very loud like a truck motor.
The rooms are very good. They are contemporary. Very well designed for senior citizens. Has a restaurant open till 12 in the night. Vending machines for drinks and water on every floor. No bell boy. Not a problem for single travellers but we had a lot of luggage.
Rooms were nice. Too far away from the main area for restaurants. Nothing good was within walking distance.
Good condition. . Yes
I did like nothing at all... This place should be shutdown.... I didn't like: The service. Room has fungi on the bathroom [tiles, wood cabinet, cracks on tiles] The front desk personnel attention was the worst I have ever dealt with... Supposedly their airport shuttle was broken during 11:00pm but next morning at 8:35am it was ok... Thing is that they don't pick anyone at the airport at stated in the KAYAK ad, unless you flight arrives before 8:00pmEST.
The room was nice looking clean and odor free. No smoking room. Had a refrigerator and coffee maker , TV etc. Not a big selection of cable channels. No adult channels also A busy highway was on my side on the hotel so it was a little noisey.
Proximity to airport Breakfast started at 6:30am and the shuttle left at 5:45
Great staff! Clean, quiet room. Very limited parking
It was the best hotel I ever when so far.
The location. It was near the airport My wife and I had a rough...the toilet over flooded. It was crazy
The location is excellent. The best is the airport pick up and drop. The hotel people were very friends and gave us good tips and guided us nicely to go around the city. Though it was our first visit to Newyork, we did not feel lost as the hotel staff helped us in every aspect. A special thanks to them.
The room was small. I booked a king and got a double. We looked in the other rooms and they were bigger not really sure why we did'nt get a king! The room we stayed in had a funny smell like there was water damage in the room but over all it was ok for the money.
Quick check in/out. Convenient to JFK. My room was 5 feet from Rockaway Blvd. The 1970's single pane glass windows didn't block any noise
Eggs, hot coffee, fresh fruit at comp continental breakfast; updated bathroom, friendly staff, economical cost Traffic was loud even on third floor, bed was a bit hard
Too far from the underground No
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the site that I was working at. It was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can not think of anything.
It was very peaceful and quiet. Nothing
I did not like anyting about it not clean at all and really does not worth the money I paid for, As said the room des not worth more than $50 a night I paid $141 with tax. I was very much surprised when I arrive at the hotel, in a bad location, dirty and was really angry about everything. I could have paid the same amount and stayed in a decent hotel elsewhere.
The staff were amazing! Very polite and very helpful.
dirty, smelly, discusting
There were some kind of blood mark in one of the bed sheets. Also found one spider in the corner of the room. Except these two remaining everything was above expectations.
The friendly ppl who work there great atmosphere felt like a home away from home Nope
Very cool hotel. Fantastic that it was so close to the subway and a very quick ride to Times Square. We loved the fact that it was a 10 minute walk to Astoria, which was an awesome area. A huge assortment of restaurants and markets that are more reasonably priced than most in Manhattan. Definitely a more relaxed area if you have had enough go the chaos in the city! I didn't find the hotel to be cold at all. It was a bit loud at times, but I expected that based on the fact that it's an old factory. We would definitely stay here again. I personally like an in room coffe pot but that's just me. They did have a coffee shop in the lobby though.
Shower was not clean enough.
Value is great if you're able to get a deal on Kayak. Wouldn't pay $200 a night. Location convenient access to subway rooms spacious staff friendly and helpful. Beds firm. Bedding clean and fresh. Wifi good. Lots of places to work around the lobby overall for the Kayak discounted price - it's great Should have more staff not a fan of the Turkish/Latin breakfast buffet. Nice to be different but sometimes you just want some eggs and a piece of bacon. Coffeed on Northern Blvd has great breakfast sandwiches. Shower curtain too high floods the shower room floor (they are apparently fixing that) room could use a comfortable chair band a lamp as the LED reading lights were both broken.
Location, room size, decor, bar (also expensive) Pretty much everything else. Unpractical design of room and bathroom (no single hook in bathroom), poorly designed heating system, mediocre cleaning ( no vacuum cleaner in 21 century, really?), inexperienced stuff, uncomfortable bars, tinny small pillows, no coffee machine or refregirator, tiny TV ...
The decor, staff, access to the subway, and all over experience were perfect!
The staff was friendly and courteous, good live music at Mundo a restaurant they have downstairs. They have a communal kitchen on he 4th floor (convenient for some not for all) and a decent gym on the 2nd floor. They have good eco friendly toiletries The room was small and the air conditioner didn't work. It turned on but I didn't feel an change. The elevator is a little creaky and there's no mini fridge in the room.
Clean. Nice front desk staff. Comfy beds
The place was great with a funky decor. Clean with comfy beds. Bar and restaurant in hotel a bonus! Easy enough on weekends to find off street parking. Not sure if it was as easy during week Construction on our side of building starting at 6am!! Cannot sleep with that noise!
A revelation being so close to Manhattan. Short on staff
The hotel and staff were very nice. The hotel scenery was awesome and it always smelled good. Our room was clean. It was really close to the subway station and a short ride to the city. Its also close to a cool town called Astoria with bars and little restaurants and its also super close to La Guardia airport. The area around it is not the nicest and I wouldn't walk by myself but it wasn't too bad. There's an awesome lil coffee shop next door called All American II Coffee Shop & Deli that serve up a mean grilled cheese with bacon and $1 hot coffees. But for the hotels.com price of $122/night it was really worth it. Everything was good except for our bed. It was the squeakiest, loudest bed I have ever slept on. And yes, the walls are very thin so when my neighbors phone rang it sounded like my phone rang next to my bed. Not a great place to stay if you are newlyweds, light sleepers, or enjoy privacy.
Got a good long term discount on the room. Nice coffee downstairs. Restaurant closed for renovations much of the time I was there, which was disappointing. Room bright and clean and comfortable. Right on top of the subway, though lots of repairs and delays when I was in town. Housekeeping could have been a little more meticulous. Sometimes things weren't replaced.
Horrible . Gym flooded while I was in it and the gm- Zoe, was there and didn't even apologize, I had to tell her leave and unplug the wires before someone gets hurt. Unbelievable.
Complimentary water in fridge, pork buns for breakfast, close proximity to great authentic food, great service for transportation to outside venues
It was quiet and cozy. Staff was friendly. Room was smaller than I expected. Cleaning staff had left bag of old linens in hallway all day.
The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great! It's a couple of blocks from the subway. There's a mall across the street. Close to LaGuardia Airport, about $15 cab fare. The hotel room was small but tolerable. The area is not great. I never felt unsafe but I would definitely recommend staying in Manhattan or Brooklyn if you could afford it. Many restaurants in the area only had menus in Chinese. Very few places took cards so I would recommend bringing a good amount of cash.
Front desk service was very nice very helpful very kind and very knowledgeable and willing to assure me that they will be there The cleaning personnel's wasn't that Ferrell of cleaning did not replace my soaps had to purchase new soap for was a vacuum properly bathrooms was that white down either
Nice, clean and comfortable. Friendly and accommodating staff. Convenient to several malls, Citi Field, great Asian food and the 7 train. Breakfast was great! Pork buns plus some usual doughnuts and bagels. Realize you are in "new Chinatown". Little English at restaurants and cash only in several places. Smaller room than expected but plenty of space for just sleeping. Walls were a bit thin. Room cleaning service seemed to come at random times and often we were in the room so they would just not come in. Ended up asking for replacement towels, toiletries, etc.
The room was very well equipped with frig, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, etc. The bed was comfortable. The room was well cleaned and serviced. The included breakfast was very good with a wide choice of items. The a/c was noisy. The hallways and lobby are drab and show signs of wear. The breakfast room needs considerable improvement in terms of looks and space. We thought the cost was excessive for the type of hotel but then it is NYC so we might be wrong about that.
I was not impressed by attitude I got over the phone. The staff didn't take the time to actually listen to what I was asking, and responded with whatever they wanted. Then, when we arrived, they said they would call us to let us know when we could check in, however, they did not. So we showed up and took a chance they we could finally check in. And I got charged the extra 25 dollars for no reason. We came back to the room after 1 in the morning, and left at 8 in the morning. All we did was sleep. Nothing was touched, broken or ruined. We are always very respectful, yet they kept the extra money. Over 150 just to sleep for 7 hours, too much if you ask me. I will not be coming back when we go back to new York next month. The beds are very hard, and the pillows are extremely lumpy. And the towels are very cheap, thin towels. Was not impressed, for the amount I was charged.
The bathroom vanity was small, not very much room to put your things. I asked for a quiet room but the street noise was pretty loud. The beds are hard so if you like a soft bed you may be uncomfortable. This hotel is ok for 1 or 2 nights but I wouldn't stay there longer.
The deluxe breakfast was GREAT!! It saved us alot of money with 4 kids. The shower squealed terribly intermittently during showering.
The breakfast was very good .
My room was clean and comfortable. There is a great buffet breakfast served every morning. The room includes bottled water. The staff is excellent Especially Darma the buffet server. She made sure everyone had plenty to eat. You also get free parking.
Staff was extremely friendly and did their best accommodate my needs. There was no heat during my stay and it was freezing that night. They tried fixing it but it only lasted for an hour. They did give me blankets, but I was still cold.
Staff is very nice and rooms are basically new and really nice and clean!
This hotel was very nice, staff was professional and helpful, within close proximity to the train station (the Manhattan bound 7 train will get you ANYWHERE you want to go in NYC), and there were great "mom & pop" restaurants, grocery stores, etc. in the vacinity. Good to know a little bit of Spanish for this part of town. The Corona location is VERY close to the airport. Plan on allocating 40 minutes or so to get into Manhattan. Snacks are a bit overpriced, especially given there is a grocery store down the street from the hotel. That's NYC for ya:-)
Pleasant atmosphere just across the bridge from Manhattan. We rented CityBike bicycles outside the hotel and rode across the Queensborough Bridge to Central Park. Took about 45 minutes one-way but good exercise and a fun and different way to experience NYC. Our room was on the first floor very close to the reception desk. In the mornings, it was a bit noisy outside our room - but only the first two first floor rooms are close - ask for different rooms if you get them.
This hotel was what we needed it to be. We were visiting family in LIC and just needed lodging, we were not spending a lot of time here. This was perfect for that. They have extremely minimal vending. After getting in for the night, my husband wanted a soda. They had 1 machine with a very limited selection of cans. Since you need to walk several blocks to find a store, this had to do. Also, on our second day, we returned to the hotel at 5:30 PM to rest and clean up and housekeeping had not yet been to our room. They came to clean our room at 7:00. We found this odd and inconvenient.
It's very nice hotel It's located in very silent area with no traffic too much All facilities are available near by surrounding of this hotel
The restaurant was closed for renovation - we would never have booked this hotel had we known otherwise. This was never mentioned on the hotel website. The diner next door was hardly an fair substitute. Room #701 - shower head needs to be replaced. The hotel was quick to bring in a repair man who told us that it need to be replaced - his temporary fix, not his problem, did not hold. Showering was extremely awkward. The view.
The shuttle to and from the subway station was not running. The staff provided no apologies or a reason why it was not running.
A hotel known for its view put me on the ground floor across from the elevator where I could hear everything. Bathroom had a roach and was filthy. Manager only offered to have someone in and clean. Overpriced for an experience I could have had at a Motel 6.
Free Shuttle Rides to local areas and substations. Extremely friendly staff. Very Accommodating. There was a little construction going on locally but hotel fully accomidated any and all needs. The club on the roof top during the weekend was a little unexpected went until 3/4 if you are trying to sleep at a decent time this place isn't recommended for the weekend.
The staff were great, the area was perfect, and the walk from the train, and to restaurants was not bad at all- there's a free hourly shuttle too but we preferred walking. The price was very reasonable. There was some construction going on, but it wasn't that noticeable and the club and traffic is audible- that may bother light sleepers...
If you are on duty for business in Manhattan and it is the firm who pays for fancy but tiny hotel room for you downtown then after the meeting ends you realize that it's not worth the money if you want to extend your stay for a couple of days more on your own budget, this one is the perfect match! You'll get nice view of the city , easy access to public transportations , shuttle service oh..and the rooms are huge and classy with less pay! The rooms, NYC view from the rooftop restaurant, and the restaurant itself, staff are super nice, no-rip-off private car service to JFK.
The only positive aspect of the hotel was that the wedding we were attending was at The Foundry. The other positive aspect was the girl that helped with my luggage. She was very courteous and helpful. The hotel was under construction and there were no clear signs indicating where to park or where to enter for the main lobby. I drove around the hotel 4 times until I finally called them to get information. You had to find your own parking on the street since there was no valet when I arrived at 4:30 PM. I actually had to call the hotel to inquire about the check in process and the location and called the front desk for the gentleman to come out and get some of my bags. When we went up to the room, there were flies and my husband actually killed about 10 of them. He called the front desk requesting a fly swatter and received no help. We also came back from the wedding and checked out that evening without staying overnight. The bar in the hotel became a nightclub and was very noisy and crowded. We also smelled marijuana in the stairwell of our floorl. It was a very disappointing stay and we will not be paying for our stay there and have requested a refund. Until they finish the construction, they should offer severely reduced rates. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Stay in Manhattan over the bridge. Might be more reliable.
The rooms are spacious and beautiful, very clean and up to date. The feel of the hotel overall is very trendy and modern. I would come again any time hands down Because of the intense cold (and not so great insulation) the hall way and restaurant on the first floor were on the chilly side. I know it's petty stuff, but I just thought that being indoors would allow me to walk around without a jacket or sweater, and though I did, I regretted it right away because I was cold.
Spacious rooms compared to Manhattan hotels Some of the clientele were just trashy. There was a couple making out in the lobby right when you walked in at night granted the hotel does have a rooftop lounge that the locals treat as trashy Queens club, but it was a Sunday night, and the lounge was closed so you can't blame it on the alcohol. Room designer seemed to be obsessed with positioning fixtures in the upper right hand corner, which is ok I guess with certain things but not lighting fixtures. And last time I checked an electrical outlet should be by the sink, not above the toilet bowl, unless they consider there guests really hardcore multi-taskers that can shave and blow dry whilst...well you know
The penthose The price
The best thing about the Ravel is it's proximity to mid town. A free shuttle or 10 minute walk to the nearest subway and you are two stops away from the heart of the city. For half the price of a comparable room in Manhattan you get almost the exact same convenience. Long Island City is still very much an industrial area. The walk to the subway is past many warehouses and the area is kind of trashed. Fortunately all the streets stay pretty lit up but there is litter all over and you have to switch street sides because of construction.
more parking hard to get too, no subway within walking distance
Good location The hotel was run down requiring millions in renovations. The rooms were unsanitary in every respect. The furniture was terribly stained with cigarette burns all over the couch and chair. The desk was badly damaged. Lamp shades were stained and walls scraped all over with black scuff marks all over the white walls. I had to check out. They wouldn't refund my money but I had no choice.
The location to get to downtown Manhattan was great. You can take the tunnel or the bridge and get there relatively quickly. When I asked for the car service, the car was on time and the driver very courteous (I used them every day for a week). The Rooftop view of the Manhattan skyline is terrific. I felt the hotel was very secure and safe. Did not like my room. I stayed in 106 which is on first floor right outside the elevator and main hall (room 105 is also located there). They have recently added a second door inside the room to help keep down the outside noise but it did little good between 5am and 9am each morning. The hotel has obviously had complaints about the noise or they would not have added the interior door with a sign as to why the door was there (noise). The elevator doors were constantly opening/closing and the cleaning staff were busy getting their carts to each of the other floors to begin maid services. Not to mention the numerous people coming down to get to breakfast and the chatter. The room itself was dirty and was in desperate need of a paint job. I realize they saved the top renting units for the top buyers but for what I did pay (which was not cheap) I was greatly disappointed. As I stated in the pro's of the hotel, the rooftop view was incredible, but they have little to no seating to enjoy the skyline unless you want to sit in the covered restaurant, which greatly obscures the views. They had closed off the very top seating area on top of the restaurant the second night I was there. When I asked the hostess why, she had no reason to give and eventually allowed me to sneak up there to enjoy the night views and relax but made sure to close off the stairway access behind me so that no one else would go up there.
clean and very quiet.I will come back and stay. Just the parking space not muvh space to park.
After calling for the shuttle, I waited for 1:30h but it did not show up. The smoke detector in my room was not working properly and randomly started ringing every couple hour. My room was close to the breakfast room which means lots of noise.
The staff was professional. The hotel was very well run. The free breakfast was really great! It was a bit noisy
Beds were great. And the food at the restaurant was excellent! No pool hours during the week day mornings.
That room service ended at 11 and the kitchen closed at 12 downstairs at the bar. I had gotten in from the airport at just past 11 and really didn't want to have to sit down at the bar. So it was quite disappointing to find out that room service had ended.
Everything except the soap. The soap makes your skin dry like sand paper and makes you smell like meatloaf. I'm dead serious.
Services Parking availabilities
To whom it may concern, I was dissapointed in my stay for the cost I payed for almost $200.00 a night I would have expected the follow which was not the case: -Clean and orginized hall ways (maintainance trolly blocking path) -Clean room with a order free bath room (bath room smell was horrible) -No one else assigned to my room which at about 02:30 in the morning I had another person enter my room while I was asleep and stated they were assigned the same room! Can you imagine the embarssesment and alarm to wake up to a stranger entering a room where you are half naked and asleep. I called the desk to complain and all i got was I'm sorry! (Really!) VERY POOR EXPERIENCE, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND........
We had an overnight layover and an early morning flight, so the proximity to JFK and the convenient shuttle service were major considerations. The room was clean with comfortable beds, and the staff were very good, although we were unable to get a receipt because the system was running something when we checked out. The shuttle was speedy and prompt with courteous drivers. While the location is convenient to JFK (or maybe because it is), the neighborhood was such that I would not have felt comfortable going outside the hotel alone. It was also right next to the Queens Sanitation Department--that did not impact our stay, but gives you a picture. The hotel could definitely use some updating.
Close to the airport Dirtiest Best Western I have ever stayed at. Staff was rude, rooms smelled dirty (city dump next door), dehumidifiers in hallways to help with musty smell. Floors, towels, bedding, and pillows all need replaced due to stains or holes. Felt like a Motel 6, really disappointed...
Comfy hotel that did exactly what it was supposed to do as a layover stop. Walls are super thin and the hotel security was in and out of half the rooms on my floor during my one night stay.
10 min to the airport, clean room and friendly staff. not a luxury place and a bit expensive.
The hotel was perfect for a stop over between flights at JFK.
The nights were somewhat quiet. The rooms were to small, the Wifi wasn't working, and slow when it did.
close to the airport, good price. breakfast was decent. better than most places that offer free breakfast. i've been itching non-stop since i checked out. bites all over my body - head to toe. i just hope i didn't bring any home with me. the shuttle only runs once an hour.
Limited staff, rooms have a extremely strong odor especially on the first floor. Hard to breathe inside these rooms, I was very frustrated and disappointed overall.
I guess that they were kind enough to give me a bed. I waited 1.5 hours for their airport shuttle and they argued with me about how that was my fault. Their driver was rude. Their front desk personnel was rude. Everyone had an attitude and Custer service was obsolete. I wouldn not recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope their manager sees this.
Breakfast was served from 5:00 am. Since we had an early morning flight, we were able to have breakfast before boarding the shuttle to the airport. In many hotels, breakfast is not served until 6:30 am or 7:00 am. The shuttle to JFK airport only runs hourly. It should run more often.
The front desk staff was really helpful At first i got a ugly room and the door was broken and they send a guy with a stick to open the door for me but i went to front desk and the staff changed my room
pretty close to the subway. off-street parking was located pretty good.
Free breakfast, with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, coffe, tea and danishes/breads.Location is great - one block away from 7 subway. Elevator is ridiculously slow.Room was pretty small.
Staff was friendly and INCREDIBLY helpful. Beds were comfortable and the location was right around the corner from a couple great deli's and a subway entrance. The room was a little small but that was fine since all we did was sleep there. Recommended!
The convenience of the train No dislikes
I loved the location of the hotel, close to transportation and great food
proximity to subway The breakfast was very tight for the number of rooms to get to food and then take back to you room because of small area to even try to eat in.
