price quoted on Kayak different upon checkout! Not cool -- I was quoted a price of $66 (which came to a total of $71 after taxes). When I showed up the front office charged me $71 base price and with taxes it came to over $80. Something went wrong with the pricing and it took me by surprise.
Location; a very minimal room No shampoo, conditioner, or facial tissue. Adequate for 2 nights while visiting Point Reyes.
Nice staff, clean and updated room, convenient to highway. Natural preserve across street.
Nothing Bed and pillows are super thin Couldn't park in front of our room because the pool was there The shower just sprays on the floor and soaks the entire thing resulting in us tracking water into the room
Clean n ez to get to from the highway Price
Stained in the tub
Pool was nice Hairs on the bed sheets, vinyl flooring through out the room looked clean but was filthy. my daughter came in from the pool and dripped water so she cleaned it up with her white towel and it was completely black when she was done. so grossed out. when I complained they gave me a $15 coupon for my next stay. I think NOT.
Price was decent, location close to freeway Air conditioning was not working, lamps were not working room was not very clean
I didn't like anything. Room smelled like smoke, they came to spray the room but it didn't help at all. They offered to switch me to a room without a TV, which I wish I would have done because the TV wouldn't turn on. The light in the sink area wouldn't turn on either. The bed was so uncomfortable that I have really bad shoulder pain still after 2 days. Way over priced for what you get, I would not recommend staying here.
If you're just looking for a place to stay and want to save money, but won't settle for a dump, this is your place. It has everything you need and it looks good. They don't have any fancy touches, but they don't look neglected either. This place is well cared for. Not a honeymoon spot, but definitely a nice place to stay for anyone on the road. See what I liked. It includes what it's not. I have nothing bad to say about this place.
Location was ok The AC doesn't work on auto so it's on and freeze or off. It also doesn't take moisture out of the air so the bed seemed damp. The people that stay there were shady, the staff wants more info and IDs than a 4 star hotel, the showers are awful, they don't provide shampoo like other hotels, the small towels feel like sand paper, there is no iron and board in the room and if you want to rent one you need to leave your lisence along with $10 and still no board. Sink for the bathroom is in the bedroom, They need guards at night.
The room (except the bathroom) looked essentially brand new, modern, and particularly nice. Black stone counter by sink, bright colors, wood floors... Bathroom was a bit of a surprise, given how mice the rest of the room was. Toilet might have been newer, but tub was in very bad shape. Looked like it was refinished many years ago and the paint/fiberglass/coating of some sort was peeling off everywhere, and they put two rubber antislip mats in the bottom to cover as much of this peeling stuff as possible, but it still looked pretty bad. But given how mice the rest of the room is, I can only guess that the place is half renovated and the tub will be going soon!
The second room we tried didn't reek of cigarette smoke. No hot water in the morning sucked. It was also really loud.
The hotel was very clean inside and out. There were also not many guests at the time of stay, so it was quiet which is always a plus. They served coffee and small breakfast in the morning. The owners of the hotel were very paranoid and a little extreme. When I checked in the owner mentioned to not smoke in the room, which is obvious unless you paid for a smoking room. He then noticed that my boyfriend was smoking outside and reminded me to tell my boyfriend not to smoke in the room. I'm like dude, I'm 30 years old I understand. He then went on to say he wanted to hold a $100 deposit. That's when I got upset because no where on the site did it say that. He then said ok I will not, and only charged me $1. The next day I had things to attend to, so my boyfriend stayed in the hotel until checkout time at 11 am. Room service came at around 9:30am while he was still sleeping and just barged in. For one this is way before check out time and second, KNOCK! 11 am rolled around and I was a bit late to picking him up and the manager called and asked why he wasn't gone, he went to say she is running a bit late it will be another 10 mins. They called 5 mins later asking, then another 5 mins. I thought the hotel wasn't bad if you were paying $65-$70 a night and we paid $90. The owners were a bit ridiculous especially since they didn't have a lot of business in the first place. Overall not a bad stay though.
Clean and simple room for a good price.
Simple but covered everything I needed Breakfast was late one day.
The room was clean and the location was great. Screaming adults after midnight. I smelled weed and saw a broken crack pipe on the ground by my car.
Price was right and I just needed a place to sleep. This kind of hotel works for that quite well. If you're road tripping and just need a place to crash, you already know what to do. Internet was not free, and it was very slow. No shampoo. Extremely thin walls (multiple people bad much better time than I did). When checking in, attendant gave me a code for free wifi in exchange for positive review online — not cool.
The room was okay but very small. Clean. Shower water pressure was better than most. The Direct TV channel selection was better than most basic cable systems. Place was quiet. Starbucks was next door and the freeway southbound ramp was very close by. First at the rate I expected better. Santa Rosa due to its proximity to the California wine country is fairly pricey. The room was very small and fairly basic. A Motel 6 would have been I presume as adequate but cheaper. The continental breakfast, I believe was advertised to start at 6:30, I went down on Sunday at 7 and found the office dark. (it was open at 7:45 when leaving). Do not expect much other than vacuum carafe coffee, toast and fruit. At least that is what I viewed from the window as I passed by. In short I expected a little better (not much) than basic lodging and what I got was basic 2 star lodging
Very clean, lots of pillow!
The stains on the sheets and on the chair.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at reception.
Booked reservation on amona.com on May 5th for a stay on May 20th and they did not have a room for us. Which was pre-paid on May 5th.
locating on a parking slot of a commercial center nothing to do with wine country atmosphere basic motel, much too expensive for what it is dont trust images
Brand new mattresses arrived the same day as we did. Motel was freshly painted inside and out. Best shower of our entire trip.
Would not stay again Room not made yet, expensive, same hotel for $49 only 17 miles away
Friendly staff, convenient location, nice TV, clean Mattress was saggy, sloped toward the middle
It is what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is.
the price was very reasonable Rooms are old but clean
The room offered a microwave, refridgerator, free wifi. All was just fine with powerful shower and hot water was right. I only needed a place to rest and leave relatively early the next day. No problems, I would stay again. Nothing.
The room was comfortable. It included things like a TV of sufficient size and containing many cable channels. The room had soap and shampoo, iron and ironing board, but no coffee maker. The towels were fresh. The room contained a refrigerator and microwave, plusses for anyone staying for a while. The Inn is near all sorts of eateries, fast and slow, and the liquor store across the street carries all sorts of beverages, soft and hard. Noise from busy Santa Rosa Avenue could not be heard. We didn't try the complimentary continental breakfast. Parking was available near the room. Wireless internet coverage was sporadic and difficult to set up. The refrigerator was not plugged in and the tray beneath the ice compartment was filled with stale water when we arrived. We moved the heavy dresser to locate the outlet for the three-pronged refrigerator plug that would not fit into the extension cord behind it. The soda machine on the first floor was not working. Someone had inserted a sheet of paper into the dollar bill slot warning guests that the machine took their money and didn't dispense any product.
The location to downtown and immediate access to the freeway.
