Cons: Offering mainly Unilever products, such as solely Lipton teas, Douwe Egbert coffee or Dove products does not match my idea of locality or diversity, but rather shows cooperations between powerful companies. Even if the breakfast is included, I would rather pay some extra for this but have a more local, vegetarian (vegan) selection instead.

Cons: Room wasnt ready having been travelling from early morning. We arrived after 1pm and asked on the off chance that the room would be ready. We were told another 30 to 45 minutes. We then called back after 2pm. Room still wasnt ready. We were told 3pm. At 3 the room still wasnt ready. It was 3.40pm before we got into our room with a tired child. We were due to meet family at 3.20pm but had to cancel the taxi. The reception area was like a cattle market with queues and the staff work at too slow a pace.

Pros: I had made a reservation for 2 of my best friend to stay in the the luxe room in the Weena House as a part of their Rotterdam Surprise Weekend. And a surprise it was!!! The room was beyond expectations. Jaw dropping great. Tatjana made them feel at home straight from arrival. . If you want a great experience the Weena House is the place to be.

Cons: I hadn't realised it was a shared bathroom, but that's more my mistake than a characteristic of the property I guess :-)

Cons: I have't checked before that there are no separate bathrooms, so I was disappointed that there is only one single bathroom&wc for three rooms, but that's my fault; the carpet is not very clean; it is also not very easy to find the place (it's good to call the host before)

Cons: After a nice introduction everything went down hill from there. I left early before breakfast as turned out to be less than Expected. I ordered single bed but expected a single room. 2 single beds in same room and very close to each other. I went out for evening meal and when came back it was very noisy and lights flashing constantly from toilet situated next to bedroom. Wanted early night as been travelling previous 8 days. Then whilst in bed someone , a male voice , tried my locked door. Then constantly lights going on and off during the night . After a further bout of noise about 6 am decided to leave without breakfast.
