The pools are awesome. The indoor/outdoor pool is so warm you can swim outside in the winter. My kids had a blast.
The place is nice got a suite with jacuzzi The resort booked a bachelor party in the suite next to us you could here the stripers and parting all night till 3:00am complained to management and nothing got done about it .
It was clean and comfortable. Good value for the price No refrigerator in room
Ease of getting in and out of the area. close to many restaurants and shopping The hotel was very hard to find due to the lack of signage on the outside
Very comfortable and nicely appointed. We came for business, but squeezed in a trip to the mall. We didn't use the shuttle, but appreciated there is one and it makes the immediate area very accessible. We'd return and recommend to others who need a place in Schaumburg to stay.
I enjoyed the entire stay! Amazing staff and the rooms were impeccable! Will definitely return! I had no complaints!
The rooms are clean and fairly large. All the necessities are included in the bathroom even toothpaste! The bathrooms are clean and the rooms are comfortable and fairly dark at night. The food at this hotel is the worst food I've ever experienced from any hotel. I've stayed here before, about a year and a half ago, and the food was horrible then and it's horrible now. Their yogurt parfaits tasted sour. The food in the restaurant is tasteless and overcooked. It's also pretty expensive for the quality.
Good location, convenient to downtown St. Charles and festival parking. Nice hot tub and pool area. Modern, clean rooms with nice décor and good function. The pillows were a little too soft and uncomfortable for sleeping on (even though there were two each per person). Had to check about the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Upon confirming that we were to receive a complimentary breakfast we still had to request the tickets since they were not given to us at check in.
Couch was nice. Centrally located. VERY small bathroom sink, no place to put personal items. And their breakfast closes at 9:30 on week days.
Booked a King bed room, but upon arrival was told it was unavailable.
We had family from four states stay here when we all came together for a surprise party weekend. We all loved the décor overall, enjoyed the Sunday brunch, and clean, comfortable rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the saltwater pool! Our ages ranged from four to seventy-five -- all gave thumbs-up! Sam & Harry's got points for a nice brunch and great service on Sunday morning - but not so much Saturday night when the hostess gave some (bad) attitude. Hopefully, just someone having a bad night. Overall -- great facility & staff! Wish the pool hours would be extended - maybe adults only later? (Hard to relax or do laps while someone else's unsupervised kids are throwing footballs all over the place!) Also - WIFI should be a given at a facility like this!
After giving me the wrong room assignment, the staff gave me free Wi-Fi! However, the Wi-Fi only worked if I was standing in the corner of my room balancing on 1 foot while I held my iPad on top of my head.
The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. It's a nice hotel for couples who want a night of privacy. No refrigerator and the pool closes too early.
Very nice room and smart layout. Hotel emailed me asking what I would like and the had my requests available. No bellman available during stay. Poor parking. Floor was designated as a dorm for college, very strange. Broken front automatic entrance door.
The staff were extremely friendly. They were very knowledgable of the area as well. We were in town for a function & not too familiar with the area but the staff made sure we knew where things were. Plus the hotel had asked if there was anything I needed before we came & the fridge was in the room Being a short stay ( 4 nights) I wasn't too concerned about the beds being made but fresh towels would have been nice. They gave us some when we saw them in the hall but only on 1 day the bed was made
Very clean and classy hotel. The room was comfy and great! Only complaint was we could hear the tv in the room next to us at 1130 pm.
Serving staff Overall state of shabiness. The hotel appears to be a relatively new hotel, while exhibiting a total lack of care to the physical plant.
Room was very clean. Bed was so comfortable! The furniture looked brand new, very nice. Everything was good.
I liked the room layout. The premium cost and then no perks. Water $4.00 a bottle, no fridge, dirty bathroom. We typically stay at Hiltons/Hamptons but they we're sold out. We drove out of way thinking that we were staying at a premium location but the pictures most of been taken 20 years ago. The place was ran down, maid service would wake you up and they lost our reservations and did not have our days in right from our booking with booking.com I would only stay here again if the price was stellar but this was one of the pricier hotels in the area.
Its very close to the main road and very clean with modern decorations. The room is a little bit smaller than I expected. I would suggest to get rid of the wall between the bed and the desk area and replace the wall with a curtain like a room divider. This way, it will provide more privacy or get rid of some snaring noise.
The staff was excellent. The room was comfy. Pillows were AMAZING! I paid $---for this room. It was very worth $---. If I had to pay the actual $---rate I would have expected MUUUUUCH more out of this room. The hallway smelled like dirty feet. I paid $---for this room. It was very worth $---. If I had to pay the actual $---rate I would have expected MUUUUUCH more out of this room.
Friendly and courteous staff. The decor of the room was awesome with gorgeous bed linens. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. TV, fridge and easy hook up to the internet are so appreciated plus the location and parking made my stay the best. No one thing...every was outstanding!
Clean rooms and good location.

The friendly staff and the ease of getting in and out Need a little bit better continental breakfast
Great location for getting to Geneva or downtown St. Charles. Friendly staff and nice amenities. Our particular room was close to the elevator and ice machine, both of which we could hear through the door.
Very clean. Nice location. Close to a lot of great stores. Nice that breakfast was provided. The covers on the bed were too thin and my feet were cold. Had to finally get up and lay the 4 bath towels over me so I could get warm and fall asleep (turning the heat on was not necessary during my stay).
Outdoor patio, proximity to shopping Room had an odor, was small
Hotel employee was very welcoming

We arrived for a 50th high school reunion after a 600 mile drive to find our room exactly as requested--quiet and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the room was quite spacious. It is not a "luxury" hotel, but that is not what we needed for this four night stay. The family that owns it works hard to make the experience pleasant. Evan the parking lot is cleaned carefully. Hot breakfast, too. Breakfast area is a bit of a squeeze, but guests were polite.
Room was clean and spacious. Happy that our room was in newer section that opened into an interior hall. Some rooms have exterior doors which I would not have been happy with. Hotel clerk that checked us in was not friendly, gave us room keys without letting us know that room was in newer section of hotel in back.
It was conveniently located with a generally up to date interior (nicer than the exterior) & friendly service desk staff & delicious breakfast with more friendly staff. I disliked that even though the front desk sign clearly stated check out was at 12PM, we had housekeeping wrapping on our door at 9:15AM to see if the room was ready to be cleaned. Seeing that I was still dressing she turned and began knocking on the neighboring doors. Only half the room lighting worked & the bathroom floor was covered in dirty shoe prints.
Price OK Bed fine Room clean but smelled a little funky Bath fine WiFi fine All about what one would expect from a 2 star motel No TV for three nights. The proprietor just blew it off when I reported the problem on the first evening. Never followed up. The hallway smelled terrible. A dog barked from 4:30 until 5:30 for two mornings. I left in disgust at 6am on my last day because I couldn't get back to sleep. I don't expect much when I book based on price but this place and treatment was pretty bad. I have learned to trust Super 8 but will not use then again.
Location Early check out time - 11am! Horrible supplies in bathroom, Uncomfortable bed.
As soon as you enter the hotel smells like cigarettes, a lot.
Great place big rooms frigde stove sofa very nice. Bed bit uncomfrtible but very clean.
Location, service, cleanliness, WiFi Speed, Breakfast and evening snack options Very uncomfortable beds, bad placement of beds with respect to the ACs
The bed was really comfortable and the thermostat had a large range for comfort. It was nice that the tv swiveled. The shower curtain had dark dirt spots in a few places. One of the towels also had what looked to be makeup spots all over. Get to my room was always challenge because there would be 4 to 5 house cleaning carts in the hall. The stairways were dingy and disgusting, especially the north west stair way. That was never adequate help at the front desk and always a line. The overall feel of the hotel was gross, outdated, and very poorly maintained. I will definitely not be staying there again!
I enjoyed the limited time i stayed at the hotel. The staff was really helpful, the continental breakfast was always hot. i always had a clean room w/ clean sheets.i would stay here again the next time i am in chicago
Never again. Very disappointing place to stay. Room was very beat up-bugs on floor in kitchen area, red spots on carpet, and couch and chair had tears. Really needs some work.
The suite we had was excellent. It was clean and spacious. Very much worth the money which we got at a very low price. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel again in the future.
I stayed here with my kids and it was a good experience. The manager was nice. The room was clean. I liked having the full kitchen. Good value for the money.
I was very impressed with the staff, clealiness of the entire grounds & the room. The breakfast buffet was great - something for everybody. The room was extremely comfortable & clean. The staff was very attentive to our needs, We were close to everywhere we needed to be. We will definately stay here again next year!! ' FOUR THUMBS UP!!
In my quest to find an affordable place to stay while attending classes at the Motorola facility, I found the Staybridge Suites and elected to give them a try. The rooms were comfortable and facilities exceed my expectations. I would highly reccommend and plan to stay again when I again visit the Schaumburg area.
This hotel was every thing we were expecting and much more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and very nice. We will definitely stay again.
After spending one night downtown we moved to the Staybridge so we could visit IKEA. My husband (a snorer) and I stayed in one bedroom and my son had the other one. Both bedrooms had their own bath and the living/kitchen area was in between so the rooms were adequately separated and my son wasn't kept awake by his dads snoring. The grounds were great, plenty of free parking and a very nice breakfast. All at a very reasonable cost. Doesn't get much better than that.
The staybridge suites were excellent for a 3 star hotel. Not only was it very roomy and comfortable but it offered so much. We had a kitchen, living room that separates from the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and perfect size. We really did not want to leave, I could have lived there. And the location was great also, everything was less than 5 minutes away.
The staff was exceptional. They provided needed information with a smile and even provided their own pizza to my hungry children who had been stranded on the highway for a couple of hours due to a car accident. The bed was uncomfortable. We woke with aching backs.
Room was nice and big. Free breakfast. VERY GOOD VALUE if you are staying near Chicago!
The hotel was very clean, the room design was nice, convenient location, city was very safe. Overall I had a nice experience. There was only one thing that I didn't like, which was that when I booked my room I had free breakfast, but the only way I could have it would be for me to leave my room and go to the lobby.. It would have been nice to have it come to my room.
The location was great and staff were responsive when we had an issue with the door jamming and with billing confusion over a prepaid room. It's nice having an all-suite hotel so we don't have to think about which room we want. There were ashtrays in the non-smoking rooms, several cigarette butts in the sink when we arrived, and the whole room stank. We arrived well after bedtime with a cranky toddler and were only staying one night, so we just dealt with it, but it was gross.
Location was good and close to shopping. To start off with, the room had several spiders in it with cob webs everywhere. There was black mold on the wall by the window when we pulled back the curtains. The 2nd day we found an earwig crawling on the bathroom floor. The walls were paper thin, you could hear the entire phone conversation of the guest in the other room including the person on the other line. Not a good stay at all. I brought this to the attention of the front desk attendant and he could of cared less. I would not choose to stay there again and would never recommend this place to anyone based on our stay.
Very dirty and uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
The floors in our room were very sticky, even the carpet. We didn't even take our shoes off because it was so gross. My parents room had the latch on the frame of their door completely missing. The staff working breakfast didn't even speak English, so you couldn't even ask them anything or explain anything. That was extremely frustrating. To pay that kind of money and have your room be dirty, and not maintained, as well as staff that doesn't speak English? We were extremely disappointed.
