10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay at Marie's place a lot. Marie and her sister in law, Annie, are very welcoming. Once we arrived, Marie greeted us with orange juice and showed us around. Her house has a nice front yard with reasonable parking space. And a backyard with a lovely swimming pool. The house is in gated area and Marie provided us with a remote control. We feel safe parking and sleeping inside and convenient to go in and out without having to bother her. The room itself is way beyond my expectations. I booked a deluxe double room and I ended up getting a well decorated suite with living room, bedroom, vanity room, bathroom. Breakfast was just amazing!
Cons: There were some flies in the front yard. Might be because it's summer time and the neighbor has a horse so we could understand.

Pros: We had high expectation after reading reviews and looking at pictures but we have to admit that Le Bastion EXCEEDED all of them. Olivier and his wife are the best hosts! Our trip would't have been as interesting if it wasn't for their knowledge about the area and their recommendations. We had the Deluxe room and couldn't had been happier; the view, the privacy and the room itself were fantastic! We didn't try the pool but the spa was lovely. Thank you for a lovely couple days.

Pros: We were absolutely blown away by Le Bastion des Papes! The location and facilities were beautiful and beyond anything we could have imagined. Our host Olivier went above and beyond to make our stay magnificent. His breakfast every morning was incredible, and always included a fresh baked pastry. He helped us with restaurant reservations and some last minute travel changes. Every morning, he would pull out a map and show us the can't miss places to visit in the region. We could not have asked for anything more from our stay. Would highly recommend! You don't want to miss out on this experience!
Cons: We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! We only wish our travel plans had allowed for more time in this area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fabulous B&B in a good location close to the village with stunning views across the vineyards. Olivier is extremely friendly and helpful and gave us many tips and ideas of where to visit in the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - fruit salad, fruit juice, tea or coffee, water, fresh muffins or croissants and fresh breads with meats, cheeses and a variety of Jams. The room was a great size with a large comfortable bed, separate wc and a bath with shower in the bedroom. Stunning views from a picture window across the vineyards. A small terrace directly outside with table and chairs as well as sun beds. The Pool is spotlessly clean and the area around it very comfortable with lots of sun beds. A Hot Tub is also available. Olivier also gave us good ideas of where to eat locally as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: All Great

Pros: This B&B is laid on top of a hillside with splendid views on the Mont Ventoux, right next to lovely fields of wine ranks. You can just relax at the pool or on one of the terraces. Its location is ideal to visit Avignon, Arles, Orange or one of the picturesque neighboring small villages, and host Olivier will gladly provide you with practical or general information you might need. This was our second stay, and we will surely be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts, Olivier and Estelle, were amazing! Olivier made delicious breakfasts, was always so helpful and accommodating, very warm and thoughtful. They made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The home and grounds are beautifully maintained, with an amazing pool area with lots of room to relax in one of the loungers, plenty of parking space, and a quiet and comfortable private room with its own deck and fantastic views! The location is ideal for exploring the many local towns, markets, restaurants, wineries, and then heading back to your own oasis at the end of the day.
Cons: It was summer in Provence so be prepared for the sounds of the cicadas. We loved it, but it can be quite loud so you may want to bring earplugs for sitting outside and relaxing or reading on the deck during the day. Very quiet in our room and at night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Olivier is a great host and is willing to provide recommendations of where to visit and eat in the local area. A lovely breakfast is also provided every morning. The property is very clean and beautifully restored and decorated with views of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding area. Great location for exploring Avignon and the Luberon.

Pros: Both hosts were outstanding! Their hospitality and kindness are unmatched. We had some great and relaxing days at the pool near the house and a pompous breakfast each morning. An overall 10/10.

Pros: The hosts are absolutely wonderful, so gracious, informative and enjoyable. They put their heart & soul into everything they do. The breakfast was excellent and we heard others rave about it as well. Fresh fruit from the orchard on the property, a fine pool, a lovely spacious room, guests from around the world prompting interesting discussions, a pleasant stroll to the local village (where we had a couple of surprisingly delicious meals), or many great locations an easy drive away - we highly recommend this place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a Heavenly property. The owners Richard and his wife Enxin and their two very young daughters are truly shinning and captivating Hosts with a Heart. They are the epitomes of color filled Provence. Generous attention offered to details in the rooms where again the colors of Provence are present, clean rooms, most comfortable beds and joined with sitting areas in the bedrooms for your enjoyments, where you can watch the beautiful morning sunrises and evening sunsets through the opened windows of your bedrooms that are overlooking vineyards and on the Horizon you can see the top of Mont Ventoux. The breakfast is just something not to miss, filled with a variety of fruits, cereals with the choices of Almond, soya or cows milk, cheeses, fresh and delicious homemade pies made in the evening before that are in themselves a piece of Art, fresh squeezed orange juice, espresso coffee, eggs, a variety of breads and croissants, cold cuts for the non vegetarians and you can choose to sit either outside on the terrasse under a umbrella of growing grapes while sitting at a choice of various round colorful tables, where you have the ease to join in nourishing conversations with clients who come from different parts of the world, and what is interesting, they all have been to this property in the past. They have a covered parking on the property, swimming pool for your leisure days where you can also lazy off with a nice book on the lounge chairs while listening to the chants of birds, while watching butterflies floating around you, while getting intoxicated by the divine scent of lavender flowers that cover in abundance the property along with apple trees, olive trees, figs and plums. Also if you wish to cook your own meal in the evening, they have a outdoor kitchen that is available for those who wish to bypass the local restaurants.
Cons: Not spending enough time here.

Pros: Very lovely and exquisite. Excellent breakfast und very kind owners
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Bastide Saint-Didier (2 day early October). The Bastide is an old Provencal house, recently fully renovated. The center of Saint-Didier is just 10 minutes’ walk from the house. We discovered Saint-Didier; it’s a lively village. If you sit at some café along the Rue le cours (Main Street), you are going to meet the locals engaged in animated discussions. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with a modern bathroom. Breakfast is great, with a lot of fruits, local cheese, ham and eggs, the way you like. We had twice dinner in the village. We especially loved the restaurant “De l’autre côté du Lavoir” (friendly, excellent food, reasonable prices, and unpretentious). There are also very good restaurants 10 minutes’ drive from the Bastide (most were unfortunately closed on Sunday evening). We only tried “Le 6 à table” in Caromb (highly recommended). The owners’ family is very friendly and always helpful. We will definitively go back. Claude
Cons: rien/nothing

Cons: The fact that there is no air conditioning
9.2 Excellent
Pros: What a warm welcome by two beautiful, kind and genuinely caring hosts! It gave us comfort that we communicate properly in English too! Sophie and Uri were so helpful and passionate about their beautiful property. They went out of their way and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! We LOVED the beautiful property, the apartment we stayed in, it was super clean, had a great shower, wonderful (well equipped!) kitchen with coffee and tea supplied, excellent and reliable internet reception... we loved the huge garden, magnificent pool, the fresh bread each morning... The location is a little bit out of town, on a quiet country road in the middle of fruit orchards, however, it was only 10 min or so drive to l’Isle sur la Sorgue (where we wanted to go)... Perfect for us! Thank you so much Sophie and Uri for a most memorable stay!

Pros: We arrived when expected and were warmly greeted and shown to the attractive suite upstairs. There was one room with double bed and one with couch/single and extra television, so we were able to spread out. The view out the windows was of a well-tended pear orchard and we had homemade pear preserves for breakfast.
Cons: There was some confusion about payment since the info from Booking.com said that our credit card would be charged two weeks before our arrival as well as that we would be asked to pay in cash, which we were happy to do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a really friendly women. We were welcomed by a cool mint tea. The house is really nice decorated. I really like the france romantic style. Every morning, she prepared the delicious breakfirst. Each day different color theme. I made a lot of pictures of the dishes and the wonderful roze garden. We had a lot of nice talks, even though we cannot directly communicate with. Because I cannot speak French. But it is no problem. We can understand each other by google translator! We watched the World Cup together! We really enjoy living there and talking with the owner. The view of the room is really wonderful with nice garden and the mountain. 我们非常满意,非常开心,非常难忘。
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is simply beautiful, every details have been carefully chosen by Dany the space is bigger than what you see in the pictures ; You have a feeling to be in a fairytale. The breakfast is amazing the homemade jams are just from an other world. But what really give this place 11 points is Dany: she is “tres gentile” so nice and so helpful: despite the fact that she speaks only French she went up and down to organize our days and give us very useful tips she is an amazing host!! Merci Dany!! We want to go back with our kids one day
Cons: Absolutely nothing

Cons: Absolutely nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: The bed was confortable, though nothing else really was as described and expected
Cons: We arrived 20 minutes before 17h and they refused to open the door or pick up the phone call. We were coming from a long drive and were exaushted. As finally it turn 17h they open the gate but everything was dark and not at all as the pictures. Felt like they weren't at all expecting visitors. The spa is just a small jacuzzi in a small room which we had to pay extra althoug she never informed us in advance. Also we had to ask to see the jacuzzi and the room was messy and not at all prepared to receive guest. Wouldnt recommend it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very well situated at the center of a very nice traditional village of Provence, called Saint-Didier, close to nice little restaurants. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The gite is a small apartment within a recently built house with all the convenient facilities, perfect for a short stay at very good value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: These are en-suite rooms with either a terrace or a balcony/terrace depending on the room selected. They have a full-size fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and their own separate entrances. They are classified as "chambre d'hotes." Chantal, the owner, is very friendly, hospitable and helpful, but be aware that she speaks almost no English, so unless you speak good French, it's probably best to take a dictionary/phrasebook! Very close to the heart of St. Didier, easy walking distance, which is a charming village. There are a few steps to access the "superior room," so be aware if you have mobility problems. Delightful area, delightful property.
Cons: No air-conditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a seriously lovely holiday home with everything you could possibly need and hope for. It was clean and very well appointed and had wonderful gardens and total privacy. The pool was a lovely bonus and the owner brought around a wonderful breakfast each day and was so helpful and welcoming, making my stay here a very pleasant experience. I could not fault anything and would highly recommend this holiday retreat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and private, great hosts and location was perfect for my stay.
Cons: No complaints at all.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and pretty
Cons: We only had 3 teabags 2 sachets of coffee no milk no biscuits. We were never given clean cups no cutlery or plates. One easy chair although there are two of you. The room was adjoined to the house through a connecting door. This was noisy in the evening. At 8euros each breakfast was mean. No offer of a refill 1 small piece of baguette 1 croissant 1 portion butter pack each orange and a very small bunch grapes. The jam was nice. One pillow each was broken up.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The friendly owner served us a rich breakfast every morning on the terrasse. The place is very close to the center, where there are two nice restaurants and two brasseries where one can eat as well. The pool was well kept and everything was very clean. A great start for sightseeing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful view from the room, clean and nice pool, nice room. The room is quiet and it is very close to many main atractions of the region. We had also full privacy. The owners are very nice and kind people-thank You for Your hospitality!:)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pool/jacuzzi and wellness area open till 1am!!! Very calm garden, nice balcony, beautiful spacious room. Luxury hotel feel!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Awesome installation with lots of rooms with own verandas or patios. Very well maintained. Big lofty room.
Cons: The location might scare some at the beginning but worry not, the quality lies within!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything, lovely place
Cons: Cant think of anything.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful gardens, room and pool. Good food though very expensive.
Cons: Hotel staff said when we checked in we would have to pay for breakfast (26 euros each) if we wanted to eat there and only when we checked out did I see we had prepaid breakfast. I mentioned this and they were unapologetic. This is highly dishonest. We paid nearly $200 for breakfast we never ate. The AC in our room did not work. When I asked about it they asked me what temp I wanted and I said 20C and they acted shocked. It never did get fixed The tv had very limited channels with CNN being the only English speaking one. The TV did not work normally and at times had no picture The high-end toilet was equipped with a Japanese style cleaning spray which did not work at all. For 300+ Euros a night I expect better. I would not go back. The breakfast issue was particularly galling.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant is excellent.
Cons: Many problems with wifi conections.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: nice location, helpfull owner.
Cons: the bed was not stable, no dark curtain for the early light.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a wonderful B&B about 10 minutes outside of Avignon. Quiet with plenty of privacy. I felt safe and Philip was always available if I had any questions or comments. Good breakfast with plenty of variety. Host also had lots of local literature on things to see and visit. He even went out of his way to verify information on the internet when my guide book was a little vague.
Cons: The only comment is that the neighbor had a dog who barked anytime someone came and went from the facility. I also wish that the town had more restaurant options for dinner on a Sunday evening, but that is true in many small towns in France.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Philippe was an excellent host. Welcomed us with the cold drinks and provided us with all the information we needed to go in and around Avignon. Breakfast was great, room clean and comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly family run establishment, with suggestions of places to visit. Very accommodating when we needed breakfast earlier than normal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything inside and out was extremely clean and well-kept. There were lovely trees in the courtyard for shade - breakfast was served under them. Breakfasts were delicious - lots of home-made pastries and goodies, fresh fruit and eggs cooked perfectly to order. Excellent coffee. The pool was very clean and comfortably cool and the bar fridge stocked with refreshing drinks (at vey reasonable prices) were a real bonus. The sheets were good heavy cotton and well-laundered. Towels clean and soft. Very good restaurant just around the corner. Our balcony fridge and the aircon were very welcome.
Cons: Through no fault of our own (Eurotunnel delays) we were held up for three hours on our journey down, which we communicated to the owners in the morning. This meant that we would be arriving at 10pm instead of 7pm. We were told in no uncertain terms that check-in at this hour would be impossible and that we should stay overnight somewhere else en route (and then criticised for trying to do the journey in one hit!). After several more phone calls (a relative who lives locally suggested coming to squat in the room until we arrived!) the owners finally agreed to leave the room keys in the door. Had we been arriving after midnight and had the b&b been in the middle of an unsafe neighbourhood this attitude might have been understandable but it was very unwelcoming from people supposedly in the service industry. No apology was ever made although other than this the owners were friendly.
7.9 Good
Pros: Welcome Advise from the owners Spacious room Good breakfast
Cons: Area without restaurant open Swimming pool water not well filtered during our stay.
