Location was excellent. The rooms were above average and parking was ample when we were there Reception service was rude and inefficient. While entering into the check-in desk front desk staff did not properly greet guests. Front desk service was rude and was more fitting of a motel 6.
Our room looked right out onto the vineyard and had a beautiful view. Everything was really comfortable and welcoming, from the bottle of wine waiting for us and free waters in the fridge, to the cozy fireplace, and delicious chocolates they left each night. The bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. We really enjoyed the Friday and Saturday night wine tastings and met many of the other guests staying at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious each day and provided yet another opportunity to mingle with the other guests. Everyone staying here was happy and friendly! We also enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. I can imagine that the rooms not directly facing the vineyard, toward the front of the property, could be a little bit dark due to the mature tall trees around the property.
Location is amazing. It's a beautiful setting. Used to be much more charming. The A/C didn't work in the room. The hotel was at capacity so they couldn't move me to another room. Did bring me a fan, a very dirty fan. They left dirty linens outside the event center which was outside the area of 14-ish rooms where i was staying. Very unappealing.
The grounds and location were good.
The room, the amenities, and the staff were spectacular. I felt like I was staying in an enchanted forest. The grounds were georgeous.
peaceful, calming, great location, an enchanted forest no
Airconditioning was welcome as it was very hot. Complimentary bottle of wine was good. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Wifi worked well. Noise of traffic nearby as it is just off the A29.
big comfortable rooms Found blood on a bed sheet and was located near the noisy road
Old style layout, probably 1950's motel that's been upgraded with new bathroom fixtures, new AC/heat units, flat screen TV's , new sink, toilet, light fixtures, etc. The bedroom + bathroom are pretty small but adequate. Nice pool. Free parking all around, no assigned spaces. Nice simple breakfast included.
Very nostalgic motor inn with modern amenities. Best of all, it isn't overpriced. .
The place was in the heart of everything yet felt secluded and relaxing. The beds we amazingly comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. But the best was the amazing breakfasts.
Roy, the host and owner of the Spanish Villa Inn redefines hospitality. The Spanish Villa is a Napa Valley diamond waiting to be found. Nothing whatsoever.
Location worked great for us, room was comfortable and the innkeeper was very friendly. We were dissappointed in 2 regards. First, after washing my hair in the morning I realized there was no hair dryer in the room. When I pointed this out to the innkeeper, he said there were some available in the common room. By then it was too late and how was I to know that. Second, it was advertised as a full American breakfast. Breakfast was a continental breakfast.
everything; the place, the matress, the breakfast, the location, the staff.
Clean and friendly Some noise from other guests
Very casual B&B
The owner is fantastic! Breakfast superb!
The Spanish Villa Inn is a gorgeous, serene bed and breakfast in beautiful surroundings. The rooms are quality furnished and the beds are extremely comfortable. Very refreshing and quality breakfast provided. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Best value for the price. Wifi internet access was not available in the room. It was available in closer proximity to the community areas.
This is a unique experince with fantastic hosts in a lovely setting?
Great location, ample parking and clean! Wonderful place with exception of the uncomfortable bed.
Open vineyard out side window Fireplace (extra log would be nice) Extra sink mirror Breakfast Architecture chimneys Comfortable beds Friendly staff Close to Hwy , disappointed hot tub closed at 9:00, drippy rain gutter Over door
The bed was comfortable and the location was great. Ridiculously expensive for a room the size of a walk in closet with no bathroom and no closet. Great view of a brick wall too. The window had cobwebs that were full of gnats and looked as if they'd been there for months. This place needs a refresh and a new pricing structure.
Rooms were very spacious and elegant. Liked the fireplace and multilevel room. Overall, a very pleasant experience! Tile in the bathroom was a little dated, but did fit the overall character of the hotel. Not too much not to like...
Modest accomodations but very clean and comfortable The staff was very helpful and the exteriors of the building were beautiful for such a small hotel. The interiors were modest but some details were great. Definitely get the rm with the fireplace which is perfect for the chilly nights and a glass of wine. While the bathrooms are not updated, they're unique and clean. The beamed ceilings were really nice. You cannot beat the location nestled right in between all the wonderful wineries and restaurants. A great value! DIdn't have a full size ironing board and the iron was cheap and didn't work well. There's some fixtures, window treatments, couch, and decorative pillows appeared old and in need of updating. The tub was clearly older. Despite the old stuff, the unit was clean which was a good save. Had it been dirty, we would have checked out.
