Pros: Great location. On the other hand, it seems a little too pricey. Parking was less convenient on Friday and Saturday

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Nice and modern. A decent value for Napa Valley.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Wydown Hotel is always my first choice for staying in Napa Valley. It is centrally located, near enough to all of my favorite wineries, and close to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast is simple but nice. Trays were provided so I could bring food and coffee up to our room. Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I always enjoy our stays here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The vibe of Wydown was splendid. I reached out to the hotel before I arrived and asked for recommendations on wineries to visit and restaurants to dine. I was treated like a familiar friend and emailed a full list of places to visit. Wydown is very convenient to town; we walked to our first night restaurant and to Gott's Roadside on the second night. Parking was behind the building. The room was amazing; even had slippers for us. Homemade delicious chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon; champagne to celebrate my birthday; a delightful breakfast with delights from the top bakeries in town. The only negative in our experience was having to leave. My three grown daughters and I felt like treasured guests at Wydown and will be returning to our St. Helena home away from home.
Cons: Having to leave after two days. This would have been a splendid place to stay for several days while visiting a variety of small towns in the Napa Valley.

Pros: Lovely location and surroundings
Cons: Breakfast was ridiculously expensive.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful, went out of their way to accommodate. Beautiful, quiet location.
Cons: An event taking place there took up a huge chunk of the parking lot - horrible parking problems as a result. Also, the hostess in the grill obviously didn’t know what a buffet is. We were in a hurry and only had time to eat if there was a buffet. I ran in to ask this, she said they do have a buffet for breakfast. My husband then spent a long time trying to find a parking place, he came back and before we sat down I asked the host again if they have a buffet and she assured me they did. No, they don’t! Frustrating. However, upon hearing this at checkout the gentleman assisting me waved our in room dining expenses from the last morning. Very much appreciated this! Thank you.

Cons: house keeping, I couldn't get rid of them, thought i had 5 extra gustrs for the day.

Pros: Loved the peaceful settings with loads of activity to do. Did not have to leave property for anything - a true vacation with adult children

Pros: Cozy and romantic place, in a very nice region, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and close to downtown. Pros: Everything was so beautiful and very relaxing. I will be back very soon. Thank you
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this place! Perfect location, adorable farmhouse with super stylish decorating style, plushly comfortable rooms, and the most beautiful gardenscape property. Mimi and Ed are so welcoming and easy to talk to. We had an amazing stay :)
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was nice to have a more home like feel rather than the standard hotel. The other guests were quite nice. The house itself is beautiful.
Cons: Our room was not clean. There were cob webs and mosquitos. I came home with two large bug bites during the night. Thankfully we were there just one night. The breakfast was weak for the price of the room. Other B&B’s I’ve stayed at in Napa area have a much larger spread with bigger portions. We were served one plate with a couple of eggs and french toast and bad drip coffee. Nothing special.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The grounds, in particular the vegetable garden, were amazing with so many little “wonders” greeting you as you wandered through it. Lovingly “curated” by the innkeepers, especially Mimi, who generously shared her passion for organic gardening, as well as her love of French country living.
Cons: Sorry, not applicable!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were fabulous! Warm, welcoming, incredibly hospitable. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful garden. Super comfortable. Great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful property, delicious fresh produce, and our host!
Cons: The shower in the bathroom needed repair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, comfortable, beautiful residence.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mimi and Ed were delightful! They made us feel like we were in our own home. Mimi’s breakfasts were outstanding, awesome and delicious. She is a gourmet cook & all the veggies came fresh out of their beautiful gardens. We also enjoyed fresh eggs daily from their hens. Don’t pay attention to the review about their dog. Their dog Baby was sweet and never bothered us at all. She was fun to have around.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Check in was easy. Host and hostess lovely. Liked we could book for one night only.
Cons: Breakfast could have been more lavish and included baked rolls and meat.

Pros: Boutique, small, lovely countryside property- not far from main roads, but feels remote. Quiet, beautiful grounds.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were so impressed by our stay at the Wine Country Inn. The location was perfect with lovely views, the bed was incredibly comfortable and they made lovely choices with their remodel. Everyone who worked there was incredibly kind, even letting us drop off wine we had purchased during the week before our check in time (as well as holding it after our check out time) to ensure it wouldn’t be sitting in our warm car. Our room was in the building above the kitchen and office and we never had an issue with noise or anything. The breakfast was also a really wonderful touch... delicious quiches and frittatas, beautifully made fresh baked goods, fruit etc... it was wonderful to be able to stay at the hotel patio overlooking the vineyard for breakfast. I wholeheartedly have now recommended this hotel to our friends who may be traveling in the area - out of all of the hotels we stayed at while in the valley, this was by far our favorite and even more affordable... we would skip the others next time and come straight here...
Cons: Nothing / everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and cozy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was our third time here— quiet, understated, a peaceful getaway.
Cons: All the rooms are wonderful, but I do like some more than others. I wish we had been able to request more specifically what we wanted. Perhaps that was because we went through a third party.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere. Price
Cons: Every thing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Super nice rooms (I would say best out of 15 hotels we were staying in US). Good breakfast - also one of the best we had. Compliments - free wine and water.
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: A nice large room in a conveniently located property close to downtown St Helena. Great gym and spa, simple but tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The place does not have the country feel suggested by the photos—it is a bit bland, but certainly comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent room with separate living room Lovely breakfast Spa facilities are excellent 5 mins walk into StHelena
Cons: The hotel has very limited grounds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was handled with attention to detail and aesthetic. All staff were warm and completely responsive.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
6.3 Good
Pros: location and staff
Cons: Bed. it was the most uncomfortable bed I have stayed in. So hard. not sure if I could stay here again due to the bed unless they fix the issue. This was the 2nd time I've stayed here and it was the same last year, so not just the room I was in
5.1 Okay
Cons: It's been 16 years since my first stay. The peeling paint and lack of timely hot water and marred furniture indicate maintenance isn't a priority for the price.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Coffee maker uses Illy espresso pods.
Cons: The air conditioning was not up to the task and we had to move to another room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spacious and beautiful, as was the bathroom. The hotel property isn't large, but it's beautifully planted and has all the amenities one needs. I won't forget the wonderful smell of the olive trees there. It is close to the shops and restaurants in St. Helena and is a perfect play to stay if you want to experience the Napa Valley. I hated to leave!
6.3 Good
Cons: The rooms are very basic and need of an update. Definitely not worth $400/night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: King Preferred room was very spacious. Walls were well-insulated and we could not hear our neighbors. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was nice, sufficient and very convenient. Free apples and bottled water were a nice touch. Access to Health Spa was also a nice added touch. Location is fantastic! We mostly walked to where we wanted to go.
Cons: There were quite a few bugs (spiders, mosquitoes, flies) in our room even though we hadn't opened any of the windows or kept the door to our room open. We weren't sure where they were coming from but every night as we would be getting ready to go to bed, we would see a spider on the wall or a mosquito or fly flying around.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, up-to-date, romantic
Cons: Very common bathroom

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The setting was beautiful. Lovely cottages set within Redwood trees and facing a vineyard. Altogether very charming.
Cons: The rooms were a little gloomy but we had a balcony overlooking the vineyard so it was lovely to sit there. The pool was wonderful except there was no restroom nearby, you had to return to your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, quiet and quick access to all wineries. Staff was extremely helpful. Accommodations felt more like in a secluded French villa- almost cottage like facing lovely courtyards. Breakfast was delicious!
Cons: Concierge came in late so never able to access her experience. Same food served daily for breakfast- all delicious but would have liked a little more variety
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Traffic noise on rooms next the road
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the location of the Harvest Inn and the beautiful setting up against the vineyards and foothills. We did not eat on the property but did enjoy the coffee each morning. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The bed is nice. But be sure you know which room view you are getting.
Cons: The checkin clerk was very inattentive and it took a bit of waiting to get checked in. Our room was very dark which has no easy fix since we were in the Redwood Grove. The last time we stayed we had a vineyard view and although I thought I was booking the same room, I did not get it this time. I thought the price of the room was a bit high for the room we ended up with so when booking be sure to confirm your view. Also, we did not have maid service until 4 PM. She was delightful, but must be overworked.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Grounds were pretty.
Cons: Very strong fireplace smoke smell in the rooms.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location was central to all wineries
Cons: Just a bit better cleaning in the room
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Walking distance to many wineries, complimentary driver service. The bar and restaurant are very good. Staff is top notch and very helpful. The ambient and the gardens are beautiful. Nothing not to like.
Cons: Not the cheapest stay but still good value for money overall.
7.5 Good
Pros: The view outside in the back was gorgeous
Cons: Not enough chairs at the pool

6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful decor in guest rooms, balconies & restaurant. Extremely comfortable bed. Very well-intentioned service; excellent breakfast.
Cons: Beautiful wooden floors in guest rooms, but we heard every step taken by guests in room above us. Need more rugs or sound-proofing. Avoid the Beringer Estate Garden View rooms. Our view was over the Beringer employee parking lot and too close to the traffic on Highway 29. Sitting on the lovely balcony felt more like being at a very upscale motel, rather than a relaxing resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was spectacular And the staff at this property were very hospitable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: View of vineyard from the room
Cons: They did not reimburse my USD. 769.94 deposit. I am very angry. Carlos, from your customer service is currently dealing with this matter
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying a Las Alcobas was a wonderful experience from the moment we pulled up to the valet to the moment we checked out. The room couldn't have been cleaner or more functional. The balcony with the fire pit with the couches and view of the vineyard was just an extension of our room that we used daily. The bathrooms were roomy and comfortable and the room was too. Las Alcobas exceeded my expectations although it does come with a hefty price tag so I guess we got what we paid for, and happy that we did.
Cons: There was nothing not to like about Las Alcobas.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The rooms are well appointed. Food delicious.
Cons: Service is struggling and to get all jobs completed. Attentiveness to room clean up and turn down is short staffed. Room lighting is very challenging for those who cannot read the small print.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Didn't expect that the room would be serviced during the day like at a hotel, but it was a nice treat to come back to. Judy is great to talk to and is so welcoming and warm. The location is excellent and check-in/-out was super easy. Would stay here again if I returned to the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Judy was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We were very pleased to have a comfortable, relaxed retreat after a very full day enjoying the Napa Valley.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Judy is an absolute jewel, one of kind, she is the perfect host. I had asked her if could book a reservation at a good restaurant close by, I figured I would just get an email but she called me to my surprise! Which I personally think shows real customer service. I can't say enough on how much we enjoyed our stay with her. If you want a nice warm, comfortable, quite, personable service and hospitality you can't do better than Judy's Inn. Judy WE LOVE YOU!
Cons: The bathroom was a little on the small size but wasn't too small to make our stay uncomfortable
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing location, like staying with an aunt. Judy the owner is pleasant to talk with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private entrance to our room.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming old guesthouse and Judy is adorable!
6.8 Good
Pros: Proximity to town.
Cons: Place is run down.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Judy, the proprietor, is 86 years old. She has been running this B&B for over 30 years. She is sharp as a tack and very friendly. She no longer provides a warm breakfast, but her selection of pastries, fruit, and hot drinks were perfect. The location was perfect for a nearby wedding at Harvest Inn. The room was suite-size, with a sitting area, fireplace, dining area, and bathroom. I loved opening the windows at night and enjoy the fresh air!
Cons: It would have been nice to have some ice in the freezer section of the refrigerator. I know we could have asked Judy for some, but it was not a show stopper. The door from our suite to the main house did not have a working slide lock. Judy said that she would never enter our room when occupied, but perhaps I would have been more comfortable with it working.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Owner of inn really made our stay comfortable

Pros: The breakfast was great for what it was. I always like eggs, which they didn't have, but everything else was good and fresh, and I liked the fresh strawberries.
Cons: Eggs for breakfast would have been a nice option
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Affordable in an absolutely great location.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a return trip to El Bonita after many years. We loved our poolside room, with parking just outside and close to the pool area. Such a great value for wine tasting in Napa, we shall be back!
Cons: The woman who checked us in was rather rude when we asked about our room assignment. Also, staff spent about an hour using a power blower along the entire length of the poolside room building -- the hour before checkout time! We literally had to wait to load up our car because of the extreme dust blown outside of our room. Please think about timing for this task!!
7.5 Good
Cons: No reading lights and no table on balcony
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious and simple continental breakfast; fresh local pastries plus fruit, great coffee and yogurt too. Warm and clean pool and hot tub. Staff were outstanding! Location and grounds are lovely and quiet. Plus in the back garden there is a fire pit with ample seating. Super comfortable beds. Plus the facility was pet friendly. Easy walk into St. Helena.
Cons: To have stayed longer. Actually nothing at all!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Conscious about using recyclable materials. Huge room sizes, great amenities, lovely staff. Pool and sauna available, long with outdoor eating and relaxing space.
7.0 Good
Pros: We really enjoyed sitting round the fire pit after a day exploring the Napa Valley.
Cons: The rooms were a little dark and there was limited seating for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Close to alot of vineyards and restaurants. It's like half way up the valley and a perfect place to stop.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It met expectations as usual. Extremely convenient to our function nearby.
Cons: Some more protein at breakfast would have been preferable. Plenty of carbs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and very clean. Large balcony was a bonus. Loved having a microwave and mini fridge!
Cons: It’s not easy getting onto the highway. A lot of traffic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and beds were nice. The complex was nicely landscaped and had a good hot tub, fire pit and picnic areas that we used often to eat dine outside.
Cons: Road noise was loud from the highway in the complex (not in our room though) and we didn’t have a view in our room of vineyards or mountains.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was average not great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was really a sweet place. Breakfast was excellent! Emma is s great cook and housekeeper! The bed was really comfortable and the linens were terrific! The strange thing is that there was no one there running the place after Emma leaves at 3. Front door is open (you can lock your door) at all times. Great location for wine tasting and shopping and restaurants.
Cons: See above about place being open.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Gina, the caretaker, was fabulous. Breakfast was great and she kept the room tidy and perfect.
Cons: The only thing I'd change is am update to the decor and furnishings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location very private and quiet home
Cons: Wish they served one breakfast that had some eggs over the sat and sun stay
5.0 Okay
Pros: East Uber ride to downtown.
Cons: We never saw the owners. No smoke detectors. Breakfast started at 9...too late for us. Not eggs. Dry waffle
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best location for a morning run. Fantastic breakfast.
Cons: I always like it when the owner is there to great and to say hello at breakast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff, especially Andrea was fantastic!! My wife and I are both gluten free and she went out of her way to make sure we had things to eat and snack on during our visit. The housekeeping was also great. Our room and the rest of the facilities were spotless.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the double bed in our room. It looked beautiful but it's a little small for 2 people to sleep in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the owners and staff, they made us feel like family and were very helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful, quiet, and in a fabulous location. The room was so comfortable and cozy with all essentials provided. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious and bountiful. And every evening if you wanted to partake, wine, snacks, and wonderful conversation was always available!
Cons: What wasn’t there to like?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy and homey
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Excellent location. Staff was very friendly. Very cute place. Loved the fireplace in the room
Cons: There wasn’t the wine and cheese hour that was promised at 5. It wasn’t very family friendly ( 9 am breakfast too late for kids). There were towels missing in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the peaceful feel of the location. The room was country vintage style which I felt gave it great character. It was clean. The beds were comfy. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was delicious along with the coffee and mimosas. Happy hour at 5 with wine and cheese was really a great bonus to the day. Location was conveniently close to all the great winery's and downtown.
Cons: I didn't like that I had to leave..lol

Pros: What a special place that completed such a special weekend. Thank you for your hospitality, Elisha.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, scenery, the hosts were so nice and accommodating, quaint and very old world charm and well kept, bed was super comfortable, continental breakfast
Cons: Not much not to not like, though we would have liked another trash can in the room and more comfy patio furniture, but otherwise there’s nothing to not like.
7.0 Good
Pros: The property was spacious and pretty. It had interesting elements. The outdoor seating areas could have been nice. Each room had a small patio and bistro table
Cons: The outdoor seating areas had drawn us to this place, but none were cleaned and ready to use. the common areas had a musty smell.
6.0 Good
Pros: unique
Cons: pricey, no tv, lack of air conditioning or lock on screen doors to allow cooler air into the room securely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is very charming and located within easy access to the valley. People were very friendly and the room was delightful. I especially liked the very private balcony from my room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds and an idyllic property. The staff (including Alicia and her mom) were very helpful and sweet. The breakfast is fine (bagels, toast, fruit and muesli... coffee/tea/ OJ). I would definitely come back.
Cons: This isn’t really a dislike more of a suggestion for improvement (and a way to guard against inconsiderate guests). We had to wake up Alicia and go knocking on doors because one guest decided to park parallel in the driveway, completely blocking the exit (and I had to leave at 3am for a flight). To prevent unnecessarily waking up other guests I think it would be a good idea for each guest to have to Not their license plate, in case their is an issue, Alicia will know who to go to.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room and Villa
Cons: No TVs in room and no bed making between nights
4.5 Okay
Pros: Dissapointing
Cons: The property has a tremendous upside. A lot of deferred maintenance and outdoor areas were dirty
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great little country area, most comfortable bed ever, friendly staff
Cons: It is definitely more of a bed and breakfast, we loved it, others may feel misled
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the ambience, the rooms, the welcome, the strawberries for breakfast, the tiny inner yard... we totally loved the place!
Cons: for some reason they forgot to empty the bins and to replenish the stock of those small shampoos in the bathroom, twice in three days. and the centralized air conditioning system did not operate normally. we had to shut it down
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: That I didn't find it sooner.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was nice, but the pictures made the grounds look more appealing than they were. Nowhere to really relax outside.
Cons: Grounds and distance to town.

2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: No parking, no AC or tv, you had to rent that. Shared restroom and bath. Beds are not queen they are full size. Carpet stained and odor is stuffy and old. Breakfast was way below a continental. Will never come back and wasted $170 for one night!
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing. Except for the staff was friendly and theyhad a good continental breakfast
Cons: Everything else.
6.2 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the location was great.
Cons: Ridiculously expensive for a room the size of a walk in closet with no bathroom and no closet. Great view of a brick wall too. The window had cobwebs that were full of gnats and looked as if they'd been there for months. This place needs a refresh and a new pricing structure.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Only the location
Cons: For $400 (tax & continental breakfast included) you get a tiny room without closet, one little bar of soap for two people, and a shared bathroom in an old hotel that is desperately in need of renovation. You’re better off camping in the nearby campground.
7.0 Good
Pros: Your staff is wonderful, however, the rooms are extremely small, and the breakfast was not good, just dry cereal and old bananas. I went out to breakfast.
Cons: You need a much better breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Unique older hotel right in the middle of St Helena. Shops and eateries walking distance. Could have even walked to a few vineyards!
Cons: Secured a room while driving- did not realize shared bathroom meant community bathroom.it was clean and convenient. Updating this hotel would make it sooo desirable!
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location and price were the only two good things about the experience.
Cons: The room was dirty (dirty bed linens, hair on the towels, cobwebs on the ceiling & walls), the shower was terrible (old and mold in the shower curtain), and it is nearly impossible to reach someone who works there because they have such limited hours. We checked in at 6 pm, got settled in our room, saw it was so dirty, so we went downstairs to talk to someone about it at 630pm, and there was a sign that said "sorry we missed you" with a clock that indicated they'd be back at 9am the next day. I called the after hours number and was on hold for 15 minutes before giving up. And on our last night, the AC went out. My husband called at 1130pm (again that after hours number), left a message, and didn't get a call back until 1030 the next day. They left a voicemail, saying that they understood that we'd called and left a message and wanted a call back to talk about the issue. It was fairly clear from their message that they hadn't yet listened to the one he'd left. I get it, it's Napa so things will be expensive, but good grief. For $1250 for 5 nights, I'd expect it to at least be clean.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Convenient to attend our event
Cons: The roll away bed was very uncomfortable tub was rusty. Wall paper coming off wall in bathroom.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Noisy hedge trimmer outside window at 7am
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was simple and delicious. Very Historic building and cuter rooms. Art work and furniture was very cool, Receptionist was very nice!
Cons: Didn't like the fact that we had a leave!
6.8 Good
Pros: location victorian decor
Cons: no staff after 4pm no other guests in hotel breakfast was served but we didn't know when so we went out spotty wifi sometimes!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked several things: 1) it did not have the 2 night minimum stay in Napa, which makes for an impossibly expensive weekend; 2) there was parking available; 3) breakfast was included!
