McGrath Family Farm
Was there for pleasure, that's what I got. Would have liked fluffier pillows.
The bathtub was large, The wifi worked great, and they give you a cookie upon check-in. The bed was really uncomfortable and squeaky. The walls were super thin and I heard everything. Parking was right outside of rooms so you heard people coming and going and car alarms. Tub was stained, sink didn't work properly and drain smelled like sulfur. I would skip this place and try La Quinta inn.
We had a large group of friends. Everyone felt the hotel was na great deal. To begin with the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was a nice perk.
The rooms were clean and the Casa Ojai Inn permitted pets.
Your staff are lovelyI'm .There was sand in our bed when I pulled down the covers. We hadn't beeN to the beach...
The proximity to the beach, the room's comfortability was standard. Previous occupants of our room smoked in the bathroom, despite our request for a non smoking room
The room and bed were comfortable and clean. No ice machine on site.
Gentleman at front desk was informative & courteous. Bed blankets & bathroom towels were stained (but not dirty).
This location has new , clean rooms. For the price, you can't beat it. Friendly staff. The bed was so-so. Extra cost for wi-fi. Low water pressure.
Check in was fast, staff was friendly! The room smelled terrible, we had to spray body spray to fall asleep. Then someone was smokinh in the room next to us and and it was coming in our room. You have to bend down to take a shower, the shower head only reached my shoulders. I'm only 5'9. The sheets were very old and rough.
Comfortable bed, large room, updated kitchen - all super nice! -Lack of muffins/OJ/snacks for the morning, but it's not really a complaint. Really liked the place
The manager stayed till midnight to wait for our late check-in. He also allowed us to check out later than 11am. The kitchen is very convenient for a family. No coffee in unit.
I liked bathroom and the bed super comfy. Parking , the fact that people live there oh and the fact the cops showed up because drugs
location was perfect for what we needed. night staff was accommodating when i told them that we needed 2 extra towels. we had two adults and two kids, and there was originally 2 towels in the room. had two towels in hand right away. we originally booked a non-smoking room... they gave us a smoking room and said that is all they had. smelled horrible. also, they must have just shampooed the carpet, as it was still wet. everything in the room was aged and worn. TV barely worked, the cable signal is bad, very snowy picture. while we did not need a fancy hotel, this made a regular Motel 6 look really high end. good thing we just needed the room to come in late, sleep, and leave early.
The title says it
i had to have a place to stay. there was not even a clock in the room to keep time. I did not feel safe there. Someone in the room next to ours was getting beat up the second night we were there. Many shady characters here.
Excellent value. The customer service from the front desk to the maintenance ladies were ever so kind during our entire stay! They always replied to messages. And the cafe was quick and convenient! Bathroom was tiny and at times felt cramped... parking filled up fast but it really wasnt an issue considering there was plenty in the front. Bed was a bit stiff (especially coming from one enjoys firm mattresses) and the sheets felt scratchy.
It was easy to get in and out of and it was clean. I thought it would include breakfast but the front desk said it wasn't included because I booked it on hotels.com. The price was the same as if I were to book it on their website so that made no sense. The beds weren't that comfortable. The electric plug next to the bed was broken so I couldn't plug my phone in to charge there. It was okay for 1 night but I don't think I would stay longer than that. It reminded us of the small hotels in Europe. Very basic... Also there is very limited parking. We arrived kind of late to check in and we had to park on the street.
Very clean for how low it was rated happily surprised Hard to get in and out of the parking lot
Nothing Room was not ready, housekeeper wasn't there but door was wide open. Room smelled like smoke, was to be nonsmoking. Young lady at front desk was not as friendly as I would exoect. I work as a motel desk .
The Outside of the Inn is very quaint. The rooms themselves are larger than you would expect. They also seem to have little cottages as well that were bigger. Would definitely come again. The only real thing I could complain about is that they didn't clean out the fridge, there was an open bottle of Pacifico and a couple other random drinks.
Close to a lot of restaurants and some attractions. Nice view in front of the hotel. Price was descent for Ojai. Staff was friendly. Rooms are small. Walls are very thin so can hear neighbors turn I their faucets and walk around. Patio was shared with neighbor and had construction so was not useful for dog (Patio room was required to allow dog). Floors squeaked in our room. Shower mirror had black splotches on it.
