10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing, paradise on earth, in the middle of the nature, very quiet even though Sayulita can get very busy and noisy. Mickael the host was super welcoming and helpful. One of the best hotel I ever stayed! Thank you
Cons: The room with garden view is very small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the pool and the view. The rooms/showers were awesome and had nice pressure. I liked the fact that they had snacks and drinks readily available by the pool. The place was beautiful and very zen.
Cons: We were hoping for a little more privacy. We felt like the staff was around quite a bit. We booked on booking not realizing it was a retreat, so we were a little bummed when we realized we couldn’t play our own music at the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was better than the pictures! With yoga every morning and a welcoming and helpful staff there is no place more tranquil and relaxing; oh and you can book a massage on the property overlooking the ocean. The town is so close and full of culture and fun every day/night, the suggestions made by staff at the hotel were great as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was truly perfect! The location is secluded and quiet yet just a 5 minute walk to the town and beach. The staff was gracious, helpful, friendly and extremely accommodating! And the property itself was pristine....views, cleanliness, pool, yoga studio, etc.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and well maintained. Micheal was an awesome host!
Cons: The only thing I disliked was the bedding, clean but not a heavy enough blankets. That’s being picky though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, perfect location (charming, easy walk from city center). Comfortable beds with amazing views! Staff was super friendly and helpful for booking tours or answering questions. We were worried that there might not be enough privacy, but that wasn’t the case-it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves sometimes. We would highly recommend this hotel to others!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved my stay at Anjali Casa Divina in Sayulita. Spent a week in March here with my 3 adult children in this beautiful paradise. This boutique hotel is stunning, amazing decor, lovely outdoor space to just hang out and chill and an incredible infinity pool with gorgeous views of the ocean and coastline. There is an amazing outdoor Yoga studio where my daughter and I did classes every morning with Marea who was a fantastic yoga instructor. Enjoyed the daily breakfast with delicious coffee and a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and fresh pastries. Our rooms were lovely and very clean. We had the pleasure of meeting Joe the owner and Micheal the Manager who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He arranged 3 days of surfing lessons with Edgar for my sons. Edgar was an incredible teacher and would highly recommend him. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Anjali Casa Divina.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, Michael provides a great personalized service. Highly recommended, we are already planning our next visit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Michael was very helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Vanessa and the other staff were also very friendly. The accommodation is in a great location on top of the hill which is much cooler and calmer than being in the town. It’s still very close to the small town and beach area only 3-5min walk. We really enjoyed relaxing and spending time in the the main pool area which has a great view facing Sayulita Beach. The ambience of the entire place was very calming and relaxing, perfect for a couples retreat! An added bonus was that we could borrow beach chairs, umbrellas, paddles boards and surf boards as we pleased! We booked a couples massage which was one of the best massages we have ever had and not that expensive. Would gladly return to this lovely place!
Cons: The aircon in our room wasn’t working very well so we relied on the ceiling fans. The bed could be more comfortable with softer linen.

Pros: Everything else... gorgeous location and large super clean rooms with all amenities

Cons: You need bigger TV and barbecue out in the patio and pool area
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and the balcony view - both fantastic!! Bed was very comfortable also!
Cons: The dishes were not cleaned very well- had to re-clean before use. There was no pot for boiling water for pasta.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right in front of the beach. The room and the grounds were always clean--the staff at the property (Herman and Yadira) are fantastic!
Cons: The TVs in the non-penthouse rooms are small--21 inch or so (like computer monitor size). But didn't come here to watch TV, so not that big of an issue.

Pros: Location to town and beach

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can I move in?? This was one of the BEST accommodation I have EVER had the pleasure of staying at, and I have traveled a lot! From the second we arrived, the staff were beyond gracious and welcoming. The property is absolutely gorgeous with plants and flowers, a garden and a little pond. The rooms are GORGEOUS, the beds and the sheets are like clouds and the air-conditioning works great. The pool was always clean and same with the communal kitchen area, where they also provide filtered water and fruit. To top it all off, the property is about a 1.5 blocks from the beach and the area is totally safe and really close to the "hippie market". They also let us store our baggage there after checking-out which was super helpful. THANK YOU to Lorena and crew, you all created a stay that was second to NONE. Counting down the days until we can return!
Cons: I have to really dig to find something I didn't like, but if I had to say one thing, it would be the drainage in the shower. It fills up very fast and gets the whole bathroom wet. It's a concrete floor, so easy to clean and not slippery, but still kind of a mess.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible staff, location, and property. I could not have enjoyed our stay more. This is the absolute perfect place to stay during your trip to Sayulita! Will be staying here when we come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This boutique hotel is the best in Sayulita, hands down!. The decor and landscape are remarkable and unique. The hotel is quiet at night. The staff are excellent and on the property 24/7. It is truly like staying in your own home or rented house without the trouble of a car to town . The 2 block walk to the easy is easy and 3-4 block to the center of town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eveninything. This place is like an oasis in town. It has walls all around with tropical plants and trees creating a very serene environment as well as being safe. Staff is very friendly and hard working maintaining property and guest rooms. Manager is very helpful in recommendations for the area and went out of area to make calls on behalf of us for transportation and details about reservations. Rooms are very comfortable with nice furnishings and architecture.
Cons: Swimming pool not warm for this time of year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Casa Nawalli was awesome. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with every question. The location is quiet, clean and very near to the beach! You can relax perfectly and enjoy your trip at the maximum. Also the center of Sayulita is in walking distance and so are the restaurants and cafes, where you can eat extremely good seafood!
Cons: Everything was fine ;)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was really great; in a quiet street but superclose to the beach and city centre. The room was situated in a beautiful garden with a pool, really lovely.
Cons: I loved everything about Casa Nawalli. Ons minor thing: the breakfast was pretty simple and was the same every day. For me it was fine (I loved the fresh fruit and banana bread) but I can imagine others would expect a bit more choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous landscape. The bed was very comfortable. Room very clean. Filtered water available at all times.
Cons: The only complaint I will make is about my upstairs neighbors. For some reason during my last night’s stay they were stomping around and it sounded like they were moving furniture at 4 am. If it was the first night of my retreat I wouldn’t be complaining, but I was headed home the next day and it kind of crushed my refreshed vibe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Seclusion in the heart of Sayulita! Highly recommend.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I've been to Sayulita a few times. I've always stayed in the center of town. Now if you've ever stayed in the center of town, you know to bring ear plugs. However, Casa Nawalli is just a short 5-minute walk away from the center and it truly is a gem. My partner and I stayed in the Studio - This room was originally the owner’s studio with 2 main areas. From A/C to a fridge, to a walk in shower with hot water. Peaceful, clean, with a sense of tranquility. From the staff to the pool to the garden, this place is special.
Cons: I honestly cannot think of anything.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The lady at check in was fantastic, the help and maids were amazing, really sweet. Everything was enjoyable
Cons: The only thing which was really unnerving was that in the middle of the night, my last night, I stayed there 5 nights, one of my friends came back to my hotel room since it was late and we drove together, and I was woken up in the middle of the night with a knock on my door saying, "the guy has to leave, only one person in the room." It made me feel uncomfortable. I think it should've been discussed with me the next day. It felt like the staff acted like I was trying to "get away with something" or like cheat the system by having someone stay with me, even though I was actually checking out the next day and had been there for 5 nights. Also, what if you meet the love of your life in sayulita and want them to come home with you. if that is an extra charge, I would like to be informed respectfully the next day, not in the middle of the night. That was completely ridiculous.

Pros: This is THE BEST hotel in Sayulita. It is a little oasis just far enough from all of the commotion. Comfortable clean rooms, delicious breakfast and a beautiful pool. My entire family all loved it! Martin and the entire staff all deserve 10 stars. We cannot wait to come back.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super nice, the included breakfast was also very good. Location is decent, altho I think next time we come we would try to stay in a place on the beach or closer to square.
Cons: It felt a little like a commune - there were only a couple other guests staying there and because of the way it’s set up, it felt like we were always with them. We also didn’t realize there was no tv, which was fine in he end, but also no radio or any way to play music so seemed super quiet in the room. This was our first trip to Sayulita and, after getting to know the area more, I think next time we would target to stay somewhere else. This checked all the boxes, but just wasn’t exactly our cup of tea.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The pool was only exceeded by the great staff JJ has working there.Martin is the best at everything he does.We can honestly say the staff is FAMILY now.Joe and Rollande
Cons: We know that this is a new resort, and there is some things that would make the pool/hot tub more accessable for older people or those with a diability.Martin accomodated use with a small step ladder Thankyou Martin. Hand railings on ramp and steps would be safer for all guests.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice view, well decorated, great bathroom, quiet location, nice patio, lovely pool area. Very comfortable bed and nice bedding. Good cleaning service daily.
Cons: No tea and coffee in the room. Even the salt and pepper shakers were empty! The pull out couch is not adequate to sleep on it is extremely hard and there were not enough sheets and blankets to make up both parts of it. I definitely wouldn’t count on that as a bed for children. You are in a steep hill so count on lots of steps!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Liked the privacy of the rooms/suites. And that there was a closer exit to leave property, instead of having to take stairs.
Cons: I didnt like that there was only one main pool clear down the flight of stairs from our room.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a beautiful and clean room with friendly staff. It is the perfect location in proximity to the beach and the plaza. We highly recommend!! 10/10!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The stairs all the way to the top Need to have some surfboards or boogie boards to lend
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay again! Location is exactly where you want to be. Check-in and out was easy and the place was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. They provided a water cooler with bottled water which was a much appreciated addition.
Cons: The only downside was the stairs (there is a LOT of them) and our villa (#3) was at the top and the furthest from the pool and beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had our own private level of the property with private balcony, outside shower, windows of walls facing the bay... really everything we needed for a quick romantic weekend away.
Cons: No private pool for our bungalow, but there was a shared pool for guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location, the casita layout, the super friendly staff, the pool.
Cons: I had friends staying in town too. Although I do understand the policy, I would have liked to be able to have them come hangout at the casita during the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice views and easy access to the beach. The room was clean and felt well maintained. There was even a friendly cat that would stop by and hang out with us on the patio.
Cons: The fridge rattled a bit but besides that it was great.

Pros: So close to town and everything else one might need. We loved the staff and the property as a whole. We will definitely stay here the next time we go.
Cons: While I appreciate them wanting to tip the staff, it did feel a bit uncomfortable being asked for extra money at the end for the staff.

Pros: Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was fantastic!!
Cons: Everything was great!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and staff were incredible! It has a cute quaint vibe.
Cons: Unfortunately we did get sick but it seems like all of Sayulita was sick while we were here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are like small apartments. Well equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated. The Swimming pool is gorgeous and its open late.
Cons: Long wait for check-in however this seems to be unusual.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and made to order. The accommodations were incredible and beautiful
Cons: The norovirus and e-coli is currently in Salyulita. I wish we had known this going into our vacation. Our entire party was vomiting and had diahrea. The staff was helpful and cleaned everything but guests should know this prior to arrival.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is amazing! Small but very nice. Loved the pool that was surrounded by rooms. My "room" was like a small apartment! There is a full size kitchen, which is nice. When I come back (and I will!), I will know to go to the Oxxo and pick up items to keep in the fridge.
Cons: Nothing! I loved this property!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is hands down the best hotel in sayulita. Not only is it beautiful and located in a fantastic location the staff is incredible! So nice and friendly and they really do care. I was in a air B&B one trip I was on to sayulita sad to say we had an intruder and had to flee that situation one morning very early. We have a friend who stays here at el paublito so we called the hotel directly and spoke with javiar. Told him our situation and he said oh no, come over right now at like 6am!!! Not only did they get us a room later that afternoon they let us sit and hang by the pool the entire day and at last we were safe! So I highly highly recommend this hotel to everyone. A gorgeous well kept clean pool. Great food and service while you are poolside Patty will take great care of you and is fantastic to chat with. A really really fun place. It just keep getting better! The beach club is a huge bonus as haggling on the beaches can be intense at times and certainly ruins the relaxing beach. So utalize this perk!! Upon my following trip, the staff remembered us and we were so pleased with the things they did once again to accommodate 100% of our needs and wants. As well as being super informed and helpful with activities and things to do about town. Quiet, safe, friendly and fun. An a plus experience all around. MUST STAY HOTEL!
Cons: Nothing I didn't like!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great. We had a 1st floor room that you could walk out to pool or hallway.
Cons: TV was difficult to operate
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing. Helped show and print maps on some beautiful places to visit. Location was great and walking distance to everything! Good breakfast in the am. Can order right off the menu. 2 levels gave us privacy to be able to put kids to bed and still hang out downstairs. Also 2 bathrooms was nice! Place was really clean!
Cons: Wish there was a jacuzzi. Pool is shaded by the building so it was a little cold. Kids did not stay in pool because of it. Showers were cool. Did not have hot water to take shower. Kitchen nice but could use items like utensils, paper towels, dish soap. We all contracted Norovirus. Staff was good about getting us water and crackers. Lots of people got it in sayulita. Bring hand sanitizer and use frequently! There was a wedding on sat night with music blasting until 5am. No way to sleep that night. Music was louder than I can describe.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: very good location and very good staff
Cons: very small pool always seemed to be in the shade
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely decorated house right in the centre of Sayulita and very close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and worked together with the surf shop, Lunazul, just around the corner, taking care of all of your needs in Sayulita. The prize was higher than what I usually pay for my accommodations, especially in Mexico, but I got of nice little surprises, like an extra day of surfing, using the beach chairs for free and a free ride to another beach... The cleaning ladies are very friendly and did a very thorough job every single day.
Cons: I wasn't really clear to me when the reception office was open, so sometimes I had to try multiple times to find somebody.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the outdoor kitchen area and the hammock. The room was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. The location can’t be beat - a 2 minute walk from the beach and it’s right in the center of the main plaza.

Pros: Staff were all really nice, helpful, happy
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fresh, nice and clean! Good location, nice pool, helpful staff members.
Cons: The music was too noisy some nights even though there wasn't any party, it was kind of just the staff there. Kitchen is really small and the utensils could be in a better condition.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had this place recommended highly to me by a friend and I'm so please she did- Hostel Tortuga is absolutely awesome. The building itself is very new and all of the facilities are excellent. It is impeccably clean and has a lovely fresh feeling everywhere - the staff work very hard to keep it so. Beautiful pool and hang out area. Loads of showers and toilets. There is a rooftop area where you can hang out and watch the sunset or do yoga. The location is also great being just a 5 min walk away from the bridge that marks the start of town. The beach  is maybe 7 mins . Totally walkable from a night out or to the beach with your board. All the staff that work there are so very warm and welcoming. Abraham is a complete delight who will great you with a smile and a dance and will go out of his way to help you out. The owners Yeyo and Carol are also super lovely and very present, when I arrived they greeted me with a drink and were around lots. It´s not a party hostel, and I slept easily at night, but there were always cool people to hang out with and have a chat. Overall I would recommend very highly and want to thank all the team at Tortuga for a lovely stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very clean, awesome staff, good location

Pros: The place is super clean and the bunk beds give loads of space. Good bathrooms and the pool and outdoors is nice!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in a private room and they are really beautiful rooms. The pool was awesome and the staff were very friendly. There was not a lot of people staying when I was there so if your travelling solo and looking to meet people this probably isn’t the place. Otherwise it’s a close easy walk into town and the beach.
Cons: Not the hostels fault and it is Mexico but the roosters are loud in the morning. Bring earplugs.

Cons: The door to the room doesn’t close without locking it with the key. So when I went for a walk, I had to lock my sister in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Teresa is so Wonderful! She is so helpful with anything & everything! She’s the Best! Her staff are the same, the place is spotless under her direction! The breakfasts are much more than a Continental style! Best way to start your day! Everyone there is so kind & friendly, we will definitely stay on our return to Sayulita !
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Owner was super friendly. The breakfast and coffee every morning was a treat.
Cons: Our room was across from a bar that was rocking until 3:30 am!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. In the morning, coffee and light breakfast foods available in the morning.
Cons: No complaints.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were absolutely amazing - incredibly helpful and even went and got my friend items from the pharmacy when he got sick. Breakfast was continental (fruit pastries, yogurt, muesli etc) and laid out fresh every day. Room was comfortable and cleaning was excellent
Cons: The only thing I can think that would improve the rooms would to have a small fridge in each one - there is a communal fridge downstairs you can use, but it would be nice to have one in the room for water etc.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really nice, the pool and the rooms are good enough for a couple of days
Cons: The street is a little bit noisy but that’s not the hotels fault
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Such a cute, quaint, boutique hotel. It is like being at a BB. Room was very clean, location. Is great!!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There was a communal fridge that was available for guests and a small continental breakfast was prepared for the guests to help themselves. They had beach towels and an umbrella available to borrow. The beach was about 400 meters down the street.
Cons: It was hard to get an internet connection in the room, but was easily accessible in the common area.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice family run hotel, very clean, great location close to beach and restaurants and bars. Very quiet and still close to the action.
Cons: nothing that I can think of!

7.0 Good
Pros: Needs more hooks for hanging things up. Like towels and bathing suits
Cons: Cup of life is good but not super filling. Maybe some toast as well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Mexican and ecological style of the hotel
Cons: I liked everything
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Booked a one-night stay here at the last minute to escape the crowds in Sayulita. Room was breezy and comfortable, with cute little extras and pretty design. Finally got a quiet night’s sleep! Included breakfast was light and refreshing... and returned for lunch which was great too!
Cons: I would suggest not playing loud rock and pop music at breakfast, as there are rooms overlooking the cafe area. Quiet instrumental music would probably be more appropriate.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Ambience, decor and accommodating staff. The food was exceptionally creative, delicious and beautifully presented..
Cons: Internet fluctuations and copy of a detailed final bill.An exceptional
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel Cielo Rojo is beautifully decorated, has terrific beds, and has a great location--it's an easy walk to restaurants and the beach, but away from much of the noise. Also, it's wonderful that they accept dogs. San Pancho is a fabulous spot for dogs as they are welcome on the beach as well as at most restaurants.
Cons: The hotel charges 500 pesos per day (on top of what one paid via Bookings.com) to have a dog stay in the room. The hotel's website says that dogs will be welcomed with a toy, water bowl, and dog mat. When we checked in, there was no sign of these things. We asked the the front desk clerk and he found a bowl and mat, but no toy. We were surprised that the room had no closet or chest of drawers for clothing. We had to clear the books and tchotchkes off the decorative open shelves and store them below the bathroom sink (also open shelving so it looked terrible) to have a place to put our clothes. There was a small rack with 3 hooks and 6 hangers. There was 1 small bottle of purified water upon arrival and no note anywhere about the water in the bathroom being safe to use to brush one's teeth, so one would assume the need to use bottled water. The hotel's room manual made reference to the first bottle being free and then you could refill via large water bottles stationed on each floor. When I went to look for said bottles, none were to be found. The front desk clerk said they didn't exist and that all additional purified water cost $. We ended up buying water from the corner tienda daily. It seemed bad customer service that they don't provide at least 1 bottle of water per night. We were there five nights. Also, there were no bedside tables--the lights were attached to the wall. Not having bedside tables was uncomfortable. There was no place but the floor for books and drinks. We were in a room that had a double bed and a single bed squeezed into it. If you book this hotel, ask for a room that only has a double bed, as those rooms were designed with built-in bedside end tables. Lastly, at night they turn off all the lights in the hallway, stairs, and even the door light outside of the hotel. One small light is left on in the lobby. It's pitch black, so if you have to say walk your dog before dawn, that's a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find and in a great location and just blocks to the beach. We only stayed one night and the room was perfect. Bed was comfortable and had all the amenities of a hotel and a shot of tequila was waiting for us in our room. The special decorating touches were awesome! Breakfast at the restaurant was top notch. I would definitely stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect - close to restaurants and the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most significant thing, other than the excellent food and accomodation, was the friendly and helpful service provided by Alex, the receptionist.
Cons: Street noise late at night, but I can't imagine how the hotel could do anything to help, other than the earplugs they provided in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing. The staff was incredible, everyone!, front desk, kitchen and house cleaning. It was relaxing, wonderful area in town. , The restaurant was great, and super clean. A little pricey but well worth every penny. Ahhh! The beds and pillows were the best I ever slept on!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious. I ate there twice and each time the meals were excellent. It's an organic bistro, so it's not bacon and eggs, but what they do serve is excellent. The fruit was fresh.
Cons: Not much.

6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were great, super friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar are great
Cons: The rooftop rooms felt really old and unclean. I don’t think it was value for money.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and overall the facilities were clean
Cons: Location is not that great and the included breakfast is a scam, other than being bad quality it only starts so late at 9am so you really can’t use it if you are a morning person and want to enjoy the day. Also very noisy room, you can hear people in adjacent rooms very loudly, specially when there is a door connecting two rooms (single door w/ no acoustic isolation)
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The general manager is friendly
Cons: This place is a scam. It is wildly overpriced. My room had no windows and it was suppposed to be delux. You wake up to roosters crowing, but rather than 1 it feels like a thousand. That will wake you up if the huge trucks outside don’t manage. The staff is overall inept and rude. You are way better off going to any of the other hotels that give same quality at better price
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, and the cleanliness
Cons: I didn’t like that when I got room service cleaning they stoled money it was 200.00 dollars that I had in one of my pants and my daughters ear plugs please pay more attention on this cituations because you might loose clietel
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Awful, no staff, nothing works in the room... in the buffet....
Cons: Service is terrible
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The facilities were immaculate and the rooftop pool and bar were clean and lovely. The view was particularly nice from that area. The hotel restaurant also had a wide variety of delicious food.
6.8 Good
Pros: We liked the way staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Staff was excellent. The breakfast was amazing! It was excellent.
Cons: Outside sounds were loud. Hotel is located on busy street and all sounds came through to our room. Hotel needs more insulation in room from noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roof deck and bar were awesome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is far enough from the center that you are out of the crowds but also very close to walk. The staff have been very friendly and have responsive to all requests
Cons: The only thing that would be nice is if the breakfast offering was a little earlier than 9:00. But that is a small thing

Pros: Close to beach - 5 minute walk, secure parking, clean room with kitchenette. Quite at night (we stayed in early June), nice balcony with a little shop next door
Cons: Wifi only available if sitting on balcony - weak signal (no Wifi in room). Minimal kitchenware. DONT Drink the water! We Boiled all water (>3 minutes) for coffees/utensils etc and i still got sick. Tight staircase up to rooms.. not great if you have mobility issues
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, nice staff & central location
Cons: Just the beds were hard, so comfy softer bed would go a long way but otherwise great!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fabulous, and the place was super clean. Great pool, and it was in a nice location just a couple of blocks from the town center.
Cons: The bed was a little stiff for me, and the internet didn't work in our room.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice airy rooms.
Cons: Wifi could have been better

Pros: The balcony was amazing. Really big with a nice view. Rooms were clean and with a big bathroom. Service was very good, stuff was friendly and helpfull. Swimmingpool was a bit cold, but good and in a nice, clean garden. Parking lots were save, because there was a door outside of the whole hotel. So you didn't had to park outside at the street.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Vogue is like a little oasis right in the heart of Sayulita. Right near the main square and 2 short blocks to the beach, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is set up in clusters of charming bungalows with beautiful landscaping throughout and a nice little swimming pool. Added bonus was the supply of beach chairs, towels and boogie boards to borrow. Very friendly staff who worked hard to help me find my lost (expensive) sunglasses!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel with wonderful garden and swimming pool. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. The owner was kind and very welcoming and we enjoyed dogs Piñata and AllyB as a bonus.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful, a few steps to everything! Great ambience, nice space distribution and gardens, fantastic and lovely Mexican-inspired decoration. The new pool is just what was missing here, now we've got it. Great value for money!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the hotel is very nice and super clean, the people of the hotel are very friendly and respectful, the owner was very friendly and with excellent talks, the room is spacious, clean and very equipped with excellent decoration, the beach is one block away and in the hotel they borrow chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers. SUPER RECOMMENDED
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house dog was great! The staff was very friendly! I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat !!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very close to the ocean! They provided beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The staff was very friendly. The housekeepers were nice and kept everything very clean. It was very safe and felt secluded even though it was in the middle of town.
Cons: It was very loud. Other guests and neighboring venues were extremely loud. Some amenities like hair dryers and safe were not readily available.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything! The bad reviews have to be from people who either had a one-off experience or else would have been unhappy regardless of where they stayed. It is low-key and just as described. I almost didn’t want to review it because I don’t want it to become over populated!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms and bathroom. The hotel is very near the plaza and very near the beach. Everything is easily accessible. The room was very spacious. They also provide free rentals of boards, umbrellas and beach chairs so you wouldn’t have to rent else where. I would stay here again. It’s a bit pricey but it’s fair for all the amenities they provide. Tip: if everything is almost or fully booked in sayulita, more likely than not it’s going to be very very very crowded. Sayulita is a small town. So when I went, it was difficult to find a place to eat because everything was full and the atms are crappy. So bring sufficient cash (pesos preferably)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super-helpful, very friendly. Hotel is central, but secluded; an enclave in the City and an easy walk to the beach. Reasonably level walkways in the downtown area. (Most of Sayulita's streets are narrow, winding up steep hills cut through dense jungle foliage; not always easily accessible.) Lovely well manicured pool area. Water is crystal clear. The whole place seems very well maintained. It's done unobtrusively -- without big ugly housekeeping carts parked outside the rooms. Very nice touch! The owner is in the office a good part of very day and always provides help and pleasant conversation. Pinata, the official greeting dog, is adorable -- a little fur ball that patrols the the property faithfully. We looked forward to those visits!
Cons: THE TILE FLOORS ARE SLIPPERY WHEN WET. "PISO MOJADO" SIGNS BADLY NEEDED!! ROOM FEATURES list online should be edited to omit some things that are misleading, i.e. there was no spa tub, balcony or terrace or pool view or real dining area/table, closet was not a walk-in, no saltwater in the pool, etc. This is not a complaint! The property was NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT IN ANY WAY. But it should be possible to get more accuracy in the descriptions. Some of these may apply to other One Bedroom apartments here -- but not ours. So they should be listed elsewhere as PROPERTY features. The pool and its surroundings are beautiful! But it's hard to see the edges of the curves that define the "pathway" and the depth divider across the center, Outlining those edges with a few darker tiles would make it safer. (Clearly, we are Senior guests!)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel and very clean. Although the hotel is very close to the activities it’s surprisingly very quiet.
Cons: I would have preferred a room not on the ground floor. There’s a little lack of privacy on the ground floor because of the large windows and the closeness to walkways.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pool. Yoga classes. Ocean view. Location on the beach. Friendly staff.
Cons: No car parking available. Lights from outside lamps get inside at night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location overlooking the sea and a view of town and beautiful rentals and grounds, far away enough to be peaceful but close enough to stroll into Sayulita for some meals. Our place was so so lovely. Lots of care went into it. The pool is lovely and temperatures just right. Free yoga classes were great. The restaurant by the water is excellent. And you can swim off the tiny beach next to it then traipse up to the pool.
Cons: The place is exquisite and so well set up but the beds are a bit hard and main bedroom very musty. I wish they would not let people play their own music by the pool on speakers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The setting is lovely with the villas decorated in a rustic Mexican style. Pool and fountains are also lovely. The staff are warm and work hard to meet the guests needs. There is a nice open air waterfront restaurant in front of the hotel. Due to electrical problems we were moved to a different unit, it was only a few steps up from ground level with a stunning view of the ocean. We would return to Villa Amor but only to specific units with out multi flights of steps.
Cons: The beds are very hard and many of the villa units are up A LOT of stairs. Our first unit was 90 irregular and steep steps up from ground level. The power went out and we had to be moved to a different unit. The pool was closed for part of our stay and nearby road construction meant scrambling up and down the boulders of the sea wall to walk to the beach or town.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Casa Parota Boutique Hotel in Sayulita, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Gringo Hill and Sayulita Farmers Market.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, beautifully decorated spacious room. Excellent well-appointed communal kitchen w/ good appliances, good security as rooms have combination #s for entry, no keys.
Cons: No outside sign, just a small sign on the door at the top of the stairs with 2 phone numbers that you have to call to have someone come and let you in as there is no reception, we waited almost an hour after 2 phone calls, if you don't have a phone or a Mexican cell it's stressful after a long day of travel, very noisy corner as it is right by the the bridge into town lined with kiosks and a main taxi stand, and this was Sept before tourist season really gets going.
7.5 Good
Pros: The decoration of the room
Cons: The room's sheets were not clean. So the floor. The shower head suboptimal
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing house with an enormous room and bathroom. Although the house was shared with others, we almost always had the common spaces to ourselves. Beautiful decoration. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, probably the best one we've ever had while traveling. It really felt like a home away from home, and the daily cleaning made it even better. Wifi was also perfect.
Cons: Nothing really!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Unique house, close to everything. kitchen is easy to use and clean
Cons: its a fun house

Cons: Love it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful and really comfortable. It was just off the main center. Very convenient.
Cons: No parking. Busy street. We used a great Uber driver but had to park in the middle of the street. Not really anything bad about the property.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location and it was clean. Very large room.
Cons: We waited over an hour for someone to come to check us into our room despite me calling 3 people multiple times, them telling me 5 minutes and never showing up.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and pretty.
Cons: The bathroom was separated from the room, not very comfortable.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: They decided not to disclose the fact that the beaches are closed because people are getting sick.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The second room I had was very spacious with a nice terrace, facing the quiet side of the building.
Cons: There is one street facing room that I initially booked but I did not like it because of of the street noise and the disconnected bathroom (it’s private but you have to leave your room to get to it with a key).

Cons: Bar next door is loud late into the night and can impact noise in rooms Need to utilize pool and roof top terrace areas better No Continental Breakfast Has great potential but they need to invest in finishing off minor hotel details.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is epic - but can be a bit noisy if you want an early night - but who wants that when you are on holiday!!!
Cons: No en-suite - my problem for not booking a room with!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, very cute chill area with hammocks. Extremely accommodating to pets, early check in and noon checkout. Best location.
Cons: Could be a little loud from the streets on weekends, but it wasnt bothersome to us at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff could not have been nicer, they made me feel very welcome and were extremely accomadating. Location was amazing and the hotel itself had a lot of character and charm. I will definitely stay here again!! Thank you :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Rooms were very unique and beautiful!
Cons: There were no TVs in the rooms and no access to fridges accept for medications. The bathroom had little privacy.
7.0 Good
Pros: The place had a nice ambiance about it.
Cons: Bathroom is not connected to room(public hostel type of bathroom). Due to location it's quite loud at night(party time) and in the morning when construction crews we're breaking apart concrete across the street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, location, all great
Cons: The construction across the street
8.3 Excellent
Pros: If you like nature embrace the tree in your shower in room la turquesa!
Cons: With nature comes lots of mosquitos and this morning we had a frog in our bathroom.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was excellent
Cons: They had construction Next door. Our room was right In front of the main check in lobby (Cuarto Azul) so you hear the phone ring constantly people checking in and out. The light was turned on early and really late and there was no way for us to have full quiet rest. We had to take 2 min showers because after 2 minutes the water turned super cold...
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is perfect, close to the beach and the restaurants. The bathroom had a tree in the middle, I loved that!
Cons: Sayulita is one of the noisiest places Ive ever been to(and I live in New York!). If your plan is to rest, relax and enjoy the place, forget it!!! There are public parties everywhere and there is no official time for ending the noise. I found myself wearing earplugs at 4 am in the morning. The walls of the hotel are not real, so there is zero noise cancelling. Sleeping in Sayulita all of the 3 times I've been, was an utter torture.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing except possibly it’s location.
Cons: Where do I begin? The room should not have been considered a room. It should have been a storage room. It was dark, smelt musty, floor was sandy, toilet leaked, no air circulation (fan was inoperable) and not fully furnished. Description on Booking.com was very misleading. Price on Booking.com was double what the actual price of the room. We paid $131 (taxes included) for a $72 a night room (US dollars). Also according to Booking.com breakfast was supposed to be included but it wasn’t. They did pay for two breakfasts but we actually still paid for it. Hotel compensated us about $55. They did replace some burnt out light bulbs, put in a new fan, cleaned the room and added some more furniture but it was a little to late (they never fixed the toilet). All of that should have been done before we occupied the room. I contacted them by email and they felt the $55 was more than enough to compensate us. There is no way that I would ever stay there again and we, in all honesty and in good conscious cannot recommend staying at La Morada.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location ( quite, safe , close to the beach and stores), the big room, the breakfast and the view while eating breakfast.
Cons: The towels were not so clean as expected but as for the rest was perfect. Not that it minded me the fact that it didnt have a small elevator for to bring the luggages up to the rooms but for somoone else ( or for elder people ) it could be useful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything completely exceeded all my expectations. The hotelito is a little house of dreams - gorgeous, meticulously clean, and has a relaxing environment. I loved spending a day by the pool or under the palapas. The staff are incredibly helpful, sweet, and friendly.i looked forward to the breakfast each day. Yoga classes were a bonus! We'll already planning to come back.
Cons: The property across the alley burns dried mango tree leaves which fills the area with smoke. It happened irregularly during our stay. Not a problem when inside with windows closed but interferes with air quality in the area when burning is happening.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff. Very clean. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: Our first room was small and noisy. We asked to be moved and the new room was excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast! Good location.
Cons: No internet in our room or by the pool at back(not one by the reception) at all, even there were three different networks.

Bungalows Junto al Rio offers spacious suites and bungalows located right on the beach in Sayulita, just 200 metres from the town centre. It offers an outdoor lounge area and free WiFi in the rooms, bar and beach club. The bungalows boast a fully equipped kitchen and ocean views, while the suites have a small seating area and a kitchenette. The property also offers a fully furnished tent. Las Huertas Golf Course can be reached in a 10-minute drive, and Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport is a 45-minute drive from Bungalows Junto al Rio.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Right on the beach.
Cons: Sewage smell from right next door (city working on pipes), duvet cover appeared old and not fresh/clean, cold at night, lizard poop on bedsheet, dog poop outside the bungalow, random buckets of water lying around (attracts mosquitos??), generally not a very clean or comfortable place. Could not sleep at all!
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to the beach and town. Not in the central part of the beach. Excellent massage and Bar.
Cons: Next to the sewage treatment plant. Bad smell. kind of dirty. people hanging out near the room. Hot shower started with brown water and went cold after 2 minutes.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our bungalow was under the cover of trees so it was cool all day and although there was no view of the beach, it was steps away and close enough to hear the waves at night. We liked that it was located just off the main beach so it was quiet and less crowded. The office staff were helpful and friendly; and the cleaning staff did a great job of keeping our bungalow clean.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: although I have an iron stomach and am reasonably cautious I still came down with something brutal (I later found out Sayulita's water/sewer system infrastructure is 3rd world) and I've never been intestinally ill in many (100+) trips to Mexico/ South America, etc. I do not blame the property whatsoever for my misfortune but avoid consuming anything that potentially could be vulnerable to the aforementioned infrastructure.
5.8 Okay
Cons: City sewer project in full swing in riverbed immediately next door with sewer smells and loud tractor noises throughout the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lady was nice with upgrade for free

Pros: The basic room was clean and I loved sleeping under the palapa with the sound of the waves.
Cons: The rooms were very basic. The sewage smell came up through the shower drain and was present throughout the property. We were overcharged at the bar which wasn’t corrected. I would not recommend this place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It's a wonderful little oasis just north of the river in Sayulita. Cute tents or treehouse style rooms, fantastic beach bar with good food. Wonderful place to stay
Cons: the ongoing pollution problem at the river is in the process of being sorted out. Stay tuned!
6.8 Good
Pros: Location by the ocean great.
Cons: Sewage creek adjacent to the property was somewhat ripe. Very loud construction noise with big machines, I assume trying to fix the sewage problem. Very loud music on the beach, very difficult to sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location from the beach.... steps away! Sound of the ocean waves from bungalow.
Cons: Toilet wasn’t flushing! Didn’t care for the treated sewage being dumped into the ocean down the beach from the property. Putting a pipe out a mile to dump the sewage isn’t a good idea either..... shame! Shame!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hostel I have ever stayed in, the owners were usually around to help with any questions and if they weren’t there the staff was also very helpful. Excellent location in Sayulita, only a minute walk to the beach. Extremely friendly atmosphere, I will definitely be back.

Pros: Nice staff - especially Macarena! Really nice and helpful.
Cons: The amount of emails I got to my inbox asking for a review after staying.
5.8 Okay
Pros: I liked the people that were working there, are quite friendly. The other patrons were also interesting and friendly. It was very close to the downtown center which made walking everywhere easy
Cons: Well the staff and owner, Ana, we’re friendly and smiling all the time, they left much to be desired. For instance, while they were happy and eager to enforce there no personal alcohol between 8 PM and midnight, they did not in force the quiet time that was supposed to be from midnight on. They all loud music and loud voices to disturb the sleep of others well past midnight one morning all the way till 3:30 AM! Even with earplugs I could not sleep. When I mentioned this to Ana, apparently the owner, she just smiled and said “it’s even going to be worse tonight, because it’s Friday night!” Also, from day one I expressed the desire to have the reading lamp in my bunk fixed as it did not work, and they were very agreeable and said sure, and I asked every day and it didn’t happen ever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a close walk to the beach, and there was lots of restaurants and bars in the area to choose from. They had an excellent breakfast each day which was always different and really fun! I always enjoyed wondering what today’s breakfast would be like. There were awesome little trips they had planned, and were very reasonably priced if it was a paid one, many were free. Happy hour at the hostel bar made it nice to have affordable beers and drinks for the travellers. Overall an amazing place. Absolutely loved my time spent here!

Pros: Nice location. Nice breakfast. Comfy bed. Clean shower. It is calm and quiet at night, I has able to have a good sleep.
Cons: Can improve the comfort in the sitting of lounge areas. Hamacas need distance adjustment for better comfort.

Pros: I’m gonna rate this Hostal 100 out of 10. Everything was incredibly amazing. Staffs were so friendly and the breakfast was also good as well (taste like home), even tho I only stayed for two nights, but I still made couple friends there. Really had an excellent experience there, and that was definitely a highlight of my whole trip.
6.8 Good
Pros: just as a hostel should be
Cons: mattress pad was not clean, staff was all in to themselves and basically hooking up with each other and guests, not a good social vibe in the place.

Pros: Our stay at the La Redonda hostel in Sayulita left us with mixed feelings. There are a few things about the hostel we didn't like and that weren't that great. The thing that bothered us the most is a general lack of hygiene. The rooms could use some dusting and cleaning, mainly the beds, fans and windows where you could see a layer of dust. The mattresses (at least in our room) were really uncomfortable, you would literally sink into it. The kitchen which is for shared use could also use some general cleaning and the sponge for cleaning the dishes could be changed more often. On top of that, the other kitchen used by the staff to prepare breakfast in the morning (included in the price by the way) started being renovated on our two last days. That included a lot of noise like hammering, drilling, breaking of tiles and walls etc. which we really don't find professional to do while there are guests staying at the hostel. But it wasn't all bad. The showers and toilets were cleaned daily and were in a much better condition than the rooms. The hostel is on a great location, literally less than 100 meters away from the beach. Across the street there's a pharmacy and a tourist doctors office in case you get sick (which is quite common in Sayulita, google it). Also there are two shops a few meters away, and most of the restaurants and bars are just around the corner of the street. The staff and people working at the hostel were really helpful and friendly, sharing tips and giving us lots of advice. To conclude, the hostel has great potential, and all of the not so good things are easily solvable with a little bit more care and thorough cleaning.
