Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed When we arrived, the front yard was strewn with garbage and chicken bones. Jacuzzi was broken.
very comfortable hotel and well placed, very helpful staff. Shame the leisure facilities were at an extra cost.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Minor points. But closure of swimming pool during April Feria was unreasonable considering high price of hotel. Lack of coffee making facilities in room was disappointing. But generally a good place to stay.
nice lobby, decent 'cantine', good sized rooms and pleasant (if a little too cold) pool. reception staff not impressive. Not very friendly or welcoming, English not great, no mention on arrival about where anything was, breakfast served etc etc. Pool only availble for short time i morning, then again in afternoon/ evening.
close to the center of the city
location for sightseeing no air conditioning in room at that time of year
the buffet brekfast was very good and the personal was very polite , smart and comfortable arranged room The noice insulation was not sufficient
The hotel was clean and comfortable and in an excellent position for sight seeing. I would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Seville.
Close to metro stop. Parking available next to hotel. Easy to drive to from the airport. The cafe which services the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Smoky and run-of-the-mill food.
The central location and availability of transport
Price and location Bed was uncomfortable
Exellent location great breakfast interesting building Noise (same music over and over) from the restaurant
central location , easy access to all monuments noisy street at night
The friendly, welcoming atmosphere with efficient staff and interesting, colourful decor. Also the convenience of a good restaurant within the hotel.
Cosy hotel, nice breakfast, excellent central location squeaky beds
The hotel is very well located in the old city, the building is very nice. Thet offer local food for breakfast, not the usual uniform variety.
Very convenient for central Seville. An unusual but pleasant layout around central courtyards and very very quiet in the bustle of Seville.Superb breakfasts. None
Very good hotel and very helpful staff. In the old part of the city None
Location in historical city center and nearness of several tapa and other restaurants - room with view: fair to the giralda. Street noise at night (cleaning - suppliers)
In general very charming and quite hotel. I like in particular its interior style. I thing it was a bit expensive, but perhaps it is usual for the easter period.
Perfect location- a matter of a few minutes from the city centre. Elegant property of the past beautifuuly modernised for today's use without losing it's old world charm. Highly recommended for those who are not looking for a modern 'gin palace'.
Great location for a city visit. Raining? Take your car out of the hotel's garage!
Hotel has a good location, walking distance or short taxi drive to major attractions in downtown.
Great location, about a 6 or 7 minute brisk walk into the heart of the tourist district. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was "so so"
Good location, nice room, good value for the money (as Sevilla is really expensive)
Staff friendly and helpful, good clean room. Nice friendly bar on street corner that practically orders breakfast for you (fresh OJ, tostada and coffee < €7 for 2) if you don't want the full hotel breakfast. Occasionally noisy outside overnight
Great hotel! Had a very bid and confortable room, the staff was very kind. Also the location is great, a 10 min, walk to the old town with lots of shops and some restaurants nearby. Fully recommended!!!
really good breakfast with everything you like incl. Spanish sparkling wine and freshly prepared bacon and eggs - despite what other stated Google maps found the hotel and it is quite easy to find (without GPS, only by using a street map)
We are two tall adults too large for two sngle beds pushed together. Had to call the front desk to get the AC turned on. Sometimes it was turned on and other times nothing happened. When it was turned on it was turned off a few hours later prompting another call to the front desk.
amazingly friendly and helpful staff/proximity to relatives top story room was hot and window opened on very noisy patio for air. No A/C that early in season. Had to use ear plugs to sleep.
The perssonel attention. In special Manolo, the bell man, and The Bartender The Air Conditioner is the worst ever experienced
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Good value for money The room we had was on the first floor. We had to keep the shutter down for privacy and this made the room quite dark. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the main centre but this was OK since we had good weather.
The hotel and room was very clean and near the airport. Free hotel parking very nice. Hotel food options was not great. Hotel hard to find without GPS.
The room is very clean and comfortable. It's very near to the airport.
very clean dinner very poor and expensive
Friendly staff, excellent room and breakfast. Very noisy neighbours in the room next door.
I stayed at AC Santa Justa last year while working in Seville and enjoyed it very much. I like the modern interior design of the hotel, and its cleanliness. Location to the airport is very good too. However, because the taxis charge a flat rate to the airport regardless of distance traveled, location is not that important anymore. I forgot how poor the breakfast and restaurant service is.
There was a flood, and many employees did not make it to work. Those who did were excellent. A bit pricey for an airport hotel, but well appointed with a great bath.
Free mini-bar! No, seriously, probably what i liked the most is the design, the elegance and the comfort. Nope.
Very convenient to airport. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and nice shower.
Location near the Sevilla Airport Distance from a shopping center. Restricted menu in the restaurant
the hotel is very nice and beautifully located in a La Macarena little square with great tapas bar in front of the front door. some of the staff was a tad dry (even for British standards!) whilst others would go out of their way to be helpful
The hotel was very beautiful, stylish, extremely clean and quiet. The staff at the hotel attentive and helpfull. Even though I had a single room it was very comfortable and enough space. (exception is the room on the ground floor, which was not so nice, still very clean, but extremely small and did not have a good feel to it. It was ok, but nothing compared to the excellence of the room on the upper floor.
Cleanliness and decor of the rooms and the hall We could hear noise during both nights from the staircase as our room had windows facing staircase. Breakfast was very basic and not what we expected. Stuff did not explain correctly the procedure for parking a car at Plaza La Concordia so we had a lot of stress on collecting our car.
The hotel is in an excellent location only 5 minutes easy walk from the Cathedral and main square. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. It overlooks a lovely square with a great little cafe.
Great location, in the heart of the city but still in a quiet alley. Visually pleasing hotel with very stylish interior The breakfast offered only a little choice: except in plastic cellophane wrapped cookies only toast and strawberry jam.
located in the old part of the city with small tiny alley like streets. located right on a small plaza with restaurant tables . hotel and room had lots of spanish character. Room had a balcony overlooking the plaza. Close to many shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly Parking is in a parking garage 300 meters away in Plaza de la Concordia. we stayed on night and cost was 30 euros.
Nice room with large patio style windows overlooking square. Good sized bathroom with a bath. Breakfast which was included in the room cost was poor - toast and jam, few cakes, undrinkable coffee and packet orange juice.
The location is not bad, just 10-15 mins walk to the main tourist attraction places. Close to the shopping streets. A few nice bars just around the corner but if you need more choices, probably Santa Cruz is better but then more touristic. Breakfast is just a simple toast and coffee. All self service but that's all we need so I am perfectly fine with that. There is a tapas bar at the tiny street next to Zara which we find it really good. Terrific tapas and the atmosphere is great. It is located on the little street to the right if you are facing the Zara entrance. Most of the rooms are not facing the street. Actually it is not a bad thing because it might be even more noisy if the room faces the street. But rooms face inside courtyard have 1-2 windows facing the hallway. Even though the windows are closed, the automatic lighting along the corridor goes on and off whenever someone walk pass, rather ignoring. Suggest the hotel uses thicker curtain fabric to block the light. Also, set the automatic timing to perhaps 2-3 mins but not over 5 mins. This is the only downside because it kept us awake all the time.
An interesting old building that was within walking distance to the cathedral and shopping. The walls are paper thin. If you are a medium to light sleeper do not expect to get much quality sleep.
I like this hotel: excellent location, pretty rooms, nice interior, friendly staff, free computer & i-net in the hall. noisy
Good location - near Alcazar. Good breakfast. Hotel parking expensive and difficult. Fittings, furniture a bit worn.
Good location and nice staff
perfect located in near the town centre old fashoned rooms, parkintg is 2 streets away from hotel
Good value for money, good location and friendly professional staff
Everything. Most enjoyable stay. Hotel difficult to find from the instructions. No
Lovely friendly helpful staff - especially the maid None at all
Staff was very courteous and prompt with requests. They were very responible and friendly. Too much noise from surrounding rooms. We could hear everything.
Located within 10-mins walk of the Historic Centre, the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. Rooms comfortable. On a main road but the traffic noise did not really permeate. Parking the car! The garage is in an adjoining building, costs €15 per night and entering & exiting is a nightmare.....unless you have a short wheelbase Smartcar!
The staff were very helpful and the hotel's location is excellent. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and only a short walk to the historic centre of Sevilla. Room quite small, but good bathroom.
It's in a good positions for visiting the town.. the staff very nice and friendly
Air conditioning! Nice in Sevilla in July. Kitchen: good for budget meals. Room towards patio: Quiet.
Beautiful building and room. Room could almost be described as that of a boutique hotel. Non touristy area on an interesting square with bars and restaurants enjoyd by locals. Layout made hotel noisy in the mornings -if you wanted a lie in or had been enjoying the typically late Spanish evenings out. Some might think it is a bit far away from the main sights but it was a pleasant 15 minute walk seeing real Seville and near more local and less expensive restaurants/bars.
Clean and tidy, recently renovated to a good standard, functioning Air Con unit. Phone was dead. We were woken up at 8am due to repair works outside our room - no warning! Generally the hotel was faceless I.E. could have been anywhere in the world. Windows opened to an internal patio = no privacy when windows open.
the romm was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Would recommend to friends and colleagues
Mix of mod rooms with old building. And clean! Elevator under construction.
Great design with a spanish flaire, ask the staff about the tapas in the neighbouhood :) Though the room was great, the bed was not comfortable.
On one of the main squares of Sevilla and so excellently located. Good quality accommodation, pretty internal patio areas. Lift out of order, arriving by car a nightmare in the one way system even with Tom Tom. Car park charged at 24 hour rate but 12 Midday is leaving time despite when one arrives. Luckily manager allowed us to stay there 3 more hours but for a lte evening leaver an additional heavy cost.
Close to places I needed to go to. Nice decoration. Access to Internet Air conditioning, too cold and noisy and could not be adjusted. In hot weather, I had to have it on and bear the noise and freeze or turn it off and open the window and stew... The buffet breakfast was lousy and the price makes it a robbery. I should have been paid to even consider eating it. Disgusting croissants...
.Nice facility, at the heart of Sevilla. The staff at this facility are rude and don´t follow through with requests. For instance, I check in and asked for two additional pillows, never received them ever. Additionally, while the facility is nice, the location is very close to loud and obnoxious drunken idiots who tend to yell and scream in the middle of the night, it is just a very loud area. I did not sleep at all for the few days I stayed there. They charge to use the safe deposit box, which I find strange...perhaps it isn´t. The overall vibe from most the staff, with the exception of one or two is very uncaring and cold. I would never come back.
The place is very Spanish. Very homie. It has a small kitchen, small stove but we never use it. The room are huge, as well as the living room. Bathroom is small like most place in Europe. The receptionist is very helpful. About 10 minutes walk to the attractions. Many restaurants around and much cheaper than in the attractions area but most only speak Spanish. It doesn't bother me but there is a park/placa alameda de hecules has live concerts in the weekend and can be very noisy till 2-3 in the morning. Also the park is pretty stinky.
nothing the service and quality of rooms where unaceeptable
The hotel's staff was speaking english (which is rare in Spain) and helped us in every question that we asked.
Convenience of location, excellent service, cleanliness, decor, facilities. Room was quite small, but this is to be expeceted in a city centre hotel!
design of hotel..very modern and clean; excellent breakfast in a lovely clean and compact eating area, great bed with nice sheets; very comfortable lobby area with books on Seville, Islamic architecture, ceramics, tourism etc.; free internet; excellent location near major sites and the river; free minibar with nice selection...overall a very good stay...also, staff were very friendly, helpful and even assisted us in printing our boarding passes for our international flights
Comfortable and clean environment. Breakfast buffet had a good range of food. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Free internet in the lobby was useful.
Good base for walking to main attractions in Seville. Buffet breakfast good and worth the price. Small functional room. Worth asking for quiet room away from main road which is very busy. Not easy to navigate way to hotel with one way streets, but at least its located on a wide road. Car parking arrangements are not on site and expensive.
the room was small but very comfortable, clean, staff was nice, i liked staying there ...
A good location near the Triana Bridge. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast Not far from the bus station. Walking distance to the old town.
The rooms were very comfortable with excellent facilities. The free mini bar was very good although we only used the water. The situation of the hotel was very close to everything we needed The air conditioning coule be abit more powerful.
Excelent, frot desk was outstanding
If you are looking for a romantic place in Seville "Hacienda de Oran" is an excellent place to stay, romantic, cosy, beautiful rooms and clean. The only thing I do not agree is the information about the distance to Seville on your site, it is not a few minutes it is 25 minutes for sure, but it is worth to do it every day by car. Wrong information on booking.com about distance to Seville
Excellent friendly staff (Jose) No kitchen/restaurant
Hacienda de óran is a peacefull and beautifull place to stay. It is not far from Seville (by car of course), and it is a very good alternative to the city hotels. Breakfast. I think it can be more "country side" breakfast. For the price, it is very poor.
very nice loacation near Sevilla, very good service, English spoken, nice big and cool rooms, relaxing atmosphere, but only breakfast, good thing: you can drive to a nearby train station and from there you are in 15 minutes in Sevilla, saving a lot of trouble if going into Sevilla by own car, much more relaxing than staying in Sevilla missing Internet access although my notebook indicated a WiFi but hotel manager said it was out of order (a bit hard to believe if my notebook could find it)
Great hotel, only stayed one night but wish we had made it our base for our four night trip to the region. Will return .........
the contemporary elegance of the room No
Very cleanliness and value of money.
I went to buddha del mar and did different site seeing. limited parking around the hotel and long distance walking from parking to from of hotel to check-in
Good hotel, good value for price, clean, swimmingpool could be better, free minibar, great helpful staff, inside parking, bus stop around the corner. Breakfast very expensive (20€ / each).
The small splash pool and the free min bar. The room was quite small and the walls were very thin. You could hear people on the coridoors and in the adjecent rooms talking. Very lucky the hotel wasn't busier as this would have been a serious problem.
Exterior and interior is nice! De bathroom has a whirlpool bath and everthing what you need was there. Rooms are clean and big enough. I like the free minibar with some refreshments. The rooms doens't have a safe/locker. The hotel staff is kind, but they don't no much from sevilla for tourist information.
one member of staff was relatively pleasant. Hotel is clean and central-ish. And my wife thought the goat's cheese salad was decent. Staff attitude not particularly helpful. Several examples including no-one to help with luggage during check-in (we arrived at 4pm), giving incorrect information about what time breakfast ended and then almost refusing to serve us, refused to serve drinks after a certain hour (fair enough, but given cumulative impression....)
Very nice hotel, typical AC, rooms are clean and very comfortable, and though I used to live in more renewed ACs, this one is well mantained anyway. Staff is friendly, always ready to assist and english speaking. Restaurant is not not bad at all as it often happens in hotel restaurants, we have had dinner two times and it was fine. Parking in wintertime was almost empty. Location is far from city center, but the district is nice and picturesque, good for a short walk as well, and quiet. Getting to the centre is easy by bus, which stop is a few meters from the hotel, or about 30-40 mins walk that we never did though. Nothing.
Clean comfortable room, about 30 minute walk through nice area to the city center. Very quiet at night. Cord leading to shower was broken, leading to poor water pressure at the head.
Nice quite centraly located hotel, around 15 minutes walk from the cathedral. I would def. come back.
The location was in a quiet area in a noisey city
Near metro, staff was helpful, room was ok.
Beautifully designed - a real pleasure to stay there. Staff courteous and spoke excellent English. I would have liked a kettle in the room to make an early morning cuppa. But other hotels in Spain don't seem to have caught on to the needs of the British in this respect!
Good position. Nice Staff. Good Room Breakfast was poor
The best thing in this hotel is its quietness, a rare thing in a city so beautiful but so noisy as Seville is. This hotel is in a quiet street, though near the centre. Besides, I asked for an "interior room", whose window opens to a tiny little courtyard, and it was like beeing in the country -- no noises.
A quiet place as very few guests. 1, The location is not as near the central as they claim in their website. 2. The receptionists are unhelptul, inefficient and irresponsible. One of them, the night reception (I think she's philippino maid) made a blunder on check-out procedures - she forgot to return me the visa card. I didn't realise that until I was in Portugal. I phoned them immediately and requested them to DHL my visa card to the hotel address in Lisbon at their expense. However, they defensed their maid(I think she lied to them), saying she did give me back the visa card but I didn't pick it. How ridiculous!!! Even so, she should have reminded me the card instead of leaving it on the desk. How can a hotel be so irresponsible, unwilling to pay for their mistake!!!!!!!
The open expanse of the reception area & balcony attached to our room. I couldn't connect my IPOD with WIFI
Clean, calm and well located, near "plaza de armas" and the historical center of Sevile.
The free WI-FI connection, the laptop per room, the hotel design and excellent location The price of the breakfast, some rooms are very small
The location is good, concerning to the big bus station around as well as the supermarket and the old town close by. Free bike cycling is very cool. The double-room is so so so so small. I can not even turn around all the time, it was a horrible memory.
free laptop and internet Very small closet.
Staff helpful, excellent position in city, good buffet breakfast.Room small but ok.
Great location in calm area Tiny room. No shelves in bathroom for things and shower curtain kept falling down and bathroom window did not have a latch so always falling open.
I liked the free internet service in the room. The room was way to small!, there was no space to put my luggage for example. The shower was not good, there was so not enough water.
Very clean and perfectly situated hotel. The internet and laptop on each room is very useful. There was a bad smell in the badroom.
Very helpful on front desk booking expeditions. Laptops and free internet access provided in bedrooms. Very convenient location for exploring Seville. Small bedrooms. No food or drink available other than breakfast and mini-bar in bedroom. Very functional design which largely lacked atmosphere. Stains on carpets in corridors.
Location is very good, 15 min walk to the old center, 5 min to river and shopping streets and centeres, it was peaceful at night, room had flat tv screen and a laptop. Good choice to stay. Room was really small, but it isn't really a problem.
Location; A computer with broadband access in all rooms; The design Maybe the room could be a little bit bigger....
The location of the hotel was excellent for a visit to the tourist spots of Seville. Anyone travelling by car has to pay extra (20 Euros) to park, which was not mentioned when booking. Rooms were small and there was nowhere to relax.
The hotel restaurant and the location of the hotel the room was nice and clean, but had no contact with the outsite world. it resembled a luxurious cell
The location was great and very close to great restaurants, shopping and sights The room was unusual in that it didnt have a proper window - the window faced the public corridor.
nice, big room in a central location
Great location, very stylish interior, very atmospheric
Very chic hotel, old and stylish. The rooms are exactely as in the photos. The bed was very confortable, like sleeping on clouds. The rooms were very tastefull decoretaed and the old style of the hotel was perfectly kept. The area were is located is noisy, especially if the rooms are with windows to the street.
We paid less than $70 a night, including breakfast. Can't beat that! The location was about a 15-20 minute walk from the main part of town (Cathedral, Alcazar, etc.) but in a great location in its own right. The Alameda de Hercules is a lively square/park surrounded by tons of restaurants and is only a few blocks from some of the best places we ate in all of Seville (can't recommend Eslava and Az-Zait highly enough). Rooms are small but nice. The 2 real issues with the rooms were that there are no dressers, just a closet with a few shelves, and there is no full-length mirror! I had to go out to the mirror in the hall/courtyard when I was getting dressed. Breakfast was included, but was only enh. I would not recommend paying for breakfast there if it is not included.
An historic building, tastefully renovated. The breakfast was excellent, and the room well appointed. The rooms are a bit small and have windows that only face the interior courtyard. The neighborhood in Seville is interesting and lively at night, but a healthy walk from the central attractions
the location the room didn't have a window
the proximity to plenty of cafes and tapas bars (the one next to the hotel is absolutely great in terms of the affordability and quality of the racion/tapas. hotel staff and facilities were very good (awesome HVAC in room 208). none, we enjoyed the hotel and surroundings greatly..
Good location, nice room, pleasant design of hotel Room had no window and was rather noicy from internal court yard
Spanish Atmosphere Friendly Staff Family Room
Excellent location Breakfast was unimaginative
helpful staff , use of computer, peace and quiet! nothing
it's impossible to stop the car near the hotel to unload luggage and you have to walk with heavy things far from parking. difficult to notice from the street. difficult to find.
This was our second stay at the Hotel Abanico and if we visit Seville once more,we will stay there again.
Saweville Breakfast was a bit hit and miss
Of all the places I stayed throughout Spain and Portugal, this hotel far exceeded the others in respects of serenity, comfort and value for money. An excellent choice to make if considering a hotel in Seville.
staff very helpful, very authentic room very small and noisy
Very friendly and helpful staff. Moorish atmosphere of the hotel Entrance to hotel is on a very narrow street with a very narrow sidewalk - can be a little hazardous - especially if dragging a suitcase!
Service Air conditioning
the staff was very helpful and friendly the spanish guests were very noisy or maybe the rooms are just not sound proof.
They allowed pets Every noise in the hotel and outside the hotel we can hear and it was difficult to sleep in the night.
Hotel was near the citycenter. Easy to walk to the center -
the stuff especaly the good servise of the recepcionists no aircondition!!! they said it automaticly but it never worked!!!!!!!!
Attendant at desk helpful and location Decor very dated, expected better for the price. street noise prevented sound sleep, hotel needs renovation to charge these prices, more like a one or two star
Great location, helpful staff, comfortable bed Parking was tricky but manageable with a small car
free wirless, hot water, location very noisy and 70's style
The reception staff were courteous and efficient. They were also able to speak some English, which was helpful. The location is also excellent, within easy walking distance of the city centre, the tourist hotspots and also the Alameda de Hercules, which is a great nightspot. This might sound slightly bizarre, but there was no toilet brush in the bathroom, which was a bit annoying! No further details!
helpfulness of staff could over hear the occupants of the rooms either side..
The room was large and it was very quiet, so we had a good night´s sleep. There was also plenty of space for hanging clothes. We were in a good area near Corte Ingles close to all the shopping streets and bars. Excellent value for money.
Beautiful location and well enjoyed swimming pool. There were no times for breakfast or when the restaurant opened and closed displayed. Menu was only available in Spanish and very limited for the quality of hotel. Similarly this was true for breakfast.
The room Parking difficult(especially if you have anything bigger than a hatchback.
We stayed 3 nights-two days in Seville. We used the hotel free bus to the city and back and found it was on time. There was a public bus nearby which we could have used instead. It is only 15 minutes from the centre of tywon. We left the car in the hotel car park. It is near the ring road/motorway to Cadiz and Cordoba No other restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the hotel dinner was very reasonable 11 Euros
I stayed only in the hotel to sleep at night and to rest from 1pm to 4pm and had a shower afterwards. Lunch and breakfast werre OK It is a bit far from the city centre although transport is provided even when requisted outside normal timetable.
Easy Access Nothing to eat late at night
Easy access by car from autovia and secure parking garage for minimal fee. Well appointed, very clean and comfortable room. Staff was very helpful. Free shuttle to tourist center of town that runs on a regular schedule by reservation from 10 AM to 11 PM. Good buffet breakfast included in room rate and excellent dinner for a fixed price that was very inexpensive.. Safe deposit boxes available at desk at no charge. Free WI-FI throughout hotel. Frequent student tour groups but management does a good job of keeping regular guests rooms and tour room apart. Even though there were 2 large groups it was not a problem during our stay.
The hotel was very good and the staff very helpful. The free shuttle to Seville was very useful. It was nice being able to park in the hotel garage. To reach the hotel garage, we had to drive a couple of yards into a one way street. This was the procedure and one of the staff assisted us. This was a little worrying!
It was a quadruple room to accomodate a family. Breakfast was included and a courtesy bus to the centre also provided. Parking was close and easy. Room was quite small.
Hotel staff were really helpful. Shuttle from/to airport and to city centre really efficient. Good breakfast.
Clean, fair price The underground parking is very hard to access. Cigarette smell in the room.
Very good location, confortable rooms and pleasant decoration, kindness and effectveness of the staff. Especially the breakfast, quite mediocre(although it was included in the price of the room). I w'd prefer pay for it and have better meal.
Perfect hotel!! Great and helpful staffs! Clean and cute room !!! Nice patio ! Hard to find their hotel ! I lost 2 times .
It´s position, service. Everything excelent.
My friends and I loved this place! Each room is unique and very comfortable. The staff are charming and most helpful. Light breakfasts, Spanish style, are available, followed by substantial lunches and evening repasts. And the location! Deep within narrow streets (we're talking less than 2m wide) with no vehicle access and thus quieter, plenty of restaurants and tapas bars, and close to the fine flamenco shows at Los Gallos. Within walking distance to Cathedral and La Giralda, Plaza de Espana, the fascinating Museo Arqueologico, Parque Maria Luisa, and numerous other wonderful places. No criticism, but just to prepare tourists (particularly American) for some differences that might upset them if they are unaware: The streets in Santa Cruz are mostly winding alley-type affairs, so that your taxi (or rental car) will not be able to drop you off anywhere near the entrance. Bring only luggage with wheels. Always carry a city map. Sevillanos are friendly and helpful, but few speak good enough English to set you straight verbally--but pointing to a map works. Give yourself time to "bungle" your way through--it will let you see delightful streets and shops you might never have encountered otherwise. Relax and enjoy--Sevilla is a jewel beyond compare!
Some of the service was great. The room was tiny, also we booked a double but had two single beds pushed together. When we spoke to reception about it we were told that there were no doubles in the whole hotel, however subsequently found out there were. Not good.
Loved this hotel. Staff was great, friendly, helpful, professional. Great location close to everything. Highly recommend it.
The assistance of the staff was incredibly efficient and everyone was extremely friendly and open to guests enquries and needs. Also the location was perfect--in Santa Cruz bario and close to major transportation.
Friendliness and competence of staff, items provided in bathroom and room good and renewed each day. Comfortable bed and good food. Instructions & map for finding hotel could have been clearer.
Perfect location for easy access to local sights and restaurants. The room was very attractive with the most comfortable bed on our trip! Useful to have free access to internet for all guests. Very noisy from nearby bar and rubbish collection in the night.Stressful searching for the hotel when driving into the area- advice is don't have a car! Once again quite expensive to pay for public car park for 2 nights.
Fantastic service - the front desk staff were helpful - suggestions on things to do as well as lending us an extra electrical adapter. I would love to stay here again! Our room overlooked a street that was a bit noisy. Otherwise perfect.
The friendly staff and its location - I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again it was not possible to access the jacuzzi or the sun deck unless you had booked a superior room - not that important but it had been advertised
The staff are efficient and welcoming. The hotel facilities and rooms are plain bur everything works and meet all needs for a comfortable stay. I have stayed several times at the Adriano and have been completely ssatisfied every time. The location is excellent as is the value for money.
the location was good and the cleaning lady was a doll. Besides the cleaning lady the staff was awful. they charged me for an extra night, they were rude, inconsiderate and out of line
I was not expecting too much from a two star hotel...but was overwhelmingly surprised at what a great place the Hotel Adriano was!!!! We stay all over Europe, usually in 2 or 3 star hotels and this beat any 3 star I've stayed in! Beautiful, spacious rooms, sparkling clean bathrooms, great cafe in the lobby....If you have a room facing the street it can be slightly noisy....but I kept the windows open every night and loved it. Plus having been to Seville several times, some hotels in the Santa Cruz district can be hard to find and Hotel Adriano sits right behind the bullring so it was incredibly easy! Great location with a short short walk to the Cathedral and sights....Probably the best " budget" hotel I've ever stayed in Europe!
Location, it was clean, the staff was excellent, it allowed pets, and had parking ...the jaccuzzi was not working because it was winter...????
NIce Andalucian style of building Near city centre Helpful staff
We got the quiet room originally requested. The hotel did not respond to the remarks made in the original booking about breakfast (which is available on a pay-as-you-go basis in the hotel's cafe) and the only ironing facilities were centralised (i.e. you had to pay for it). I agree with previous reviewers - there was a strong smell of sewage, and thank goodnes we were only there for one night.
We appreciated the helpful, friendly staff. Loved the location of the hotel, and found the accommodations clean and charming. Didn't like not having the option to turn on and use the air conditioning system, since leaving our window option was difficult with the noisy bar under us!!
comfortable rooms, nice furnitures, good location and friendly staff
the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great although difficult to reach by car.The breakfast buffet was really excellent. the room was a little bit small.
