Cons: We booked this particular hotel because of the pool and rooftop options and when we arrived we found that it was closed until the end of June. Perhaps of no fault to the hotel, but the closure of this facility was definitely detrimental to the enjoyment of our stay and was not advertised very clearly when we booked the hotel.

Cons: I cant really say there was anything I didnt like but perhaps some very minor suggestions, could be to offer a TV with some movie channels ? Perhaps also make the rooms a bit more wi fi / internet friendly ? - the USB port didnt work ( to charge our Iphones. but we never reported it ).

Pros: We stayed at this well situated hotel 27 years ago when the whole city was dug up in preparation for Expo. In pre sat-nav days it took ages to find the place. It took almost as long this time through the narrow streets but on arrival the efficient front desk staff had my car whisked away to nearby secure and reasonably priced parking. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable but would benefit from two chairs rather than just one. The staff were outstanding. Predominantly young but clearly properly trained, attentive without being intrusive. The four of us were there to celebrate my wife's birthday, we made no mention of this to staff but at breakfast on 'the day' there was a delicious cake presented to her and on retiring to our room at the end of the day we found a nice plate of fresh fruit. The front desk manager had spotted the birthday from our passports at check-in. The rooftop terrace and bar is comfortable with lovely views and attentive bar staff. In the summer months the pool and sun terrace must be a real attraction.

Cons: Our room was on the second floor. You could feel the cooler air from the airconditioning on the ground and first floors, but on the second floor it was warm and stuffy. Our room was also stuffy and the aircon in our room didn't work properly. I had it on the cold setting, with the temp set to the lowest and the fan on full and all it blew out was hot air. We eventually switched it off completely and just opened the doors. The sink in the bathroom must've been blocked because it dammed up quickly and took forever to empty. We were only there for two nights so we just dealt with it. If the hotel sees this, please see if it can be fixed. Room 220. Breakfast wasn't bad, quite a variety of things to eat. The chairs, however, felt like those cheap plastic chairs one sits on at functions. The dining hall was quite stuffy. Coffee was good. If you arrive by car, the hotel has a sort of valet service. They take the car and park it... for €22 a day...

Cons: A few minor points...as mentioned above a room for two people in a 4* hotel should have two chairs. The bathroom lacked a shaving/make-up mirror and there was no mirror in the bedroom. The breakfast selection was excellent but the hot selection was only tepid at best. We were looking forward to the piano recital in the lounge but although the pianist was accomplished the piano itself was awful! Please get a decent instrument to complement the talent of the musician!

Cons: The woman I think was concierge was not very attentive to the guests. Myself and other two guests were in the lobby a bit lost about whom to ask for specific information and/or service, and this member of the staff was walking around the lobby, seemly doing nothing. She looked at us and then walked away. Not even once asking if we needed assistance. Then she walked to her desk and sat down. Finally after like 10 min of being ignored, one of the receptionists helped me and I am very grateful, since I noticed that they were very busy with Check-outs. Wi-Fi was a bit slow and I had to re-connect to it every few minutes.

Pros: During this trip to Seville we also stayed in La Cruz which is a better neigbourhood for sightseeing and enjoying Seville. The spa at Gran Melia Colon was great for tired legs, the room and bathroom were wonderful but the noise from the street below kept us awake. Tino at the check in was wonderful and upgraded our room. We were welcomed with champagne which was really nice. The hotel bar could have a bit more ambience, music and more bar foods. Breakfast

Pros: During this trip to Seville we also stayed in La Cruz which is a better neigbourhood for sightseeing and enjoying Seville. The spa at Gran Melia Colon was great for tired legs, the room and bathroom were wonderful but the noise from the street below kept us awake. Tino at the check in was wonderful and upgraded our room. We were welcomed with champagne which was really nice. The hotel bar could have a bit more ambience, music and more bar foods. Breakfast

Cons: Our room only had a tiny window, which you couldn’t open entirely so it was quite hot during the night. That’s really the only thing we could complain about, other than that this hotel is perfect.

Had a great meal at Zarandaja a local tapas 5 minutes walk away and Buhaire 31 opposite the hotel. Easy walk to the city about a 15-20 min walk way, but didn't feel far. We then requested to ensure both of our rooms are with double bed rooms but instead Jose upgraded us to en-suit rooms. We were more than happy when arrive in our rooms as it is the luxurious room we ever had. it just ease our tiredness away. Thanks Jose

Cons: we got to the hotel on our wedding night to find out we couldnt have a double bed eventhough we had requested it we were given a room which to our surprise when we got there someone was already in the room. we were given another room which again was for someone else so third time lucky. We put the do not disturb sign on the door and the cleaner still walked in at 8.30am on a sunday when we were asleep. so not a great experience.

The hotel itself is stunning, so romantic & charming. The hotel is a maze - be patient it could take you 45 to find your room but it's worth the adventure. It's a very charming hotel that hasn't been updated in a big way in a long time so if you're looking for something NEW this is not the place for you. If you like character & tranquility you'll love this spot.

Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. The location is wonderful. It's not in the center of the hustle and bustle but very close, only a few minute walk. It's nice and quiet at night. The hotel itself is stunning, so romantic & charming. The hotel is a maze - be patient it could take you 45 to find your room but it's worth the adventure. It's a very charming hotel that hasn't been updated in a big way in a long time so if you're looking for something NEW this is not the place for you. If you like character & tranquility you'll love this spot.
Cons: I don't have anything negative to say but there are a few things I wish I knew before I booked because for some people these could be deal breakers. If you have mobility issues or can't climb stairs easily this is NOT the place for you. I mentioned the place is like a maze, which I loved but when I had 8 bags (2 weeks worth of luggage for travel around Spain) and couldn't find my room for 45 min. There is no rhyme or reason to the layout of this place so some rooms are up around winding hallways and hidden passage ways & there are no signs. Not handicap friendly! The other thing is that there is only wifi in the one common area lobby - so if you need to work or don't feel like splurging on an international data plan, you'll be disconnected for most of your stay as a lot of surround places don't have wifi either.

Pros: The Level is an exec club which is excellent and great value. It is spacious and open all day with various drinks and snacks. The staff went out of there way to be helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a courtesy room to tide us over for our late flight which was a pleasant surprise. A permanent taxi presence outside meant that we had no trouble getting about. Its about 6 euros to the centre of Seville. A shower in the bathroom was common which is hard to find in Seville.

Cons: The rooms are looking a little tired.Is a little far out but not bad location if you like walking in parks etc. Gluten free bread could be a better as the microwave version goes a bit solid. A straight loaf would have been better.

Cons: The reception staff were very unfriendly and quite rude at check in! We were a big group with 7 young children in tow so this caused a lot of unnecessary stress when checking in. The shower was full of cal and the water pressure was very low! No bar available by the pool was a bit of a disappointment.

The view of the river was beautiful and the hotel is situation very close to the hustle and bustle of Seville. The hop on hop off bus also has a stop right outside the hotel which is handy.

Pros: The hotel rooms are quite spacious with a nice sized closet. I liked that it had a safe in the room as well.
The location was good for me and I loved the view of the river.
The breakfast has a lot of variety and the food was quite good.
Cons: I like that the hair dryer was in the bathroom, but didn't like that you had to hold the on button to keep it going. This might sound picky but it's not the best way to use it if you have to spend a lot of time.
Also, the décor is a bit outdated, but the rooms are spacious and quite clean.

Cons: We had a Deluxe room and we felt like in prison. Our terrace was surrounded with high walls and we could see only peace of sky and with some chains. Toilet smells really bed so we could not breathe at all. In toilet there is no venity kit, no wardrobe in a room.

Cons: Definetely not a 5 stars hotel. First they gave us a small back yard room with a terrible smell from the sewer. They told us to leave the room , put a machine and clean the smell. When i say thats unecceptable to sell this room in a five stars hotel , they move us in an apartment in a side building. They forget to move our suitcases wheh we arrived there. 3 times they gave us wrong keys and we couldnt go in. No safe box, no room service no paper bin in the wc. Stuff was very kind but not enough. The manager of this hotel has a big responsibility. Also the room apartment was very very noisy , we couldnt sleep. Not a comfortable stay at all.

Cons: It was old but it was not nicely renovated. The rooms especially the floors appeared untidy and unclean, the old pipes were showing. . Overall, the atmosphere gave me an icky feeling. The walls were very thin, you could here shouting outside till the wee hours of the morning and you can here the very minute noise from the other guests inside the hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable andthe pillows were a joke, very thin overused and flat.

Cons: On arrival our room for 2 adults and a 3 year old was actually a small double room with a single bed squashed in. We complained and got a large family room which was great but for the entire stay they had building work going in the next room and outside the window, we were on the ground floor. The room was out of use for the whole day due to the noise and smell of paint stripper. The shower door did not close, the sink tap was on the wrong way round, cold was actually hot and hot was cold , very dangerous to have especially with a child who enjoys brushing his teeth independently. All in all, I would appreciate a full refund from them.

Cons: First room: We were placed in a room with a joining door to another room where there was no sound insulation at all and the people in the other room were yelling at each other. After complaining, the hotel upgraded us to a larger room. Second room: While the larger room was nice, the air conditioning/heater was extremely loud and it wakes you up at night. Could smell cigarette smoke coming from another room or the hallway (we think) throughout the night. The staff did not seem friendly and rarely smiled. Would not stay here again.

Cons: Reception staff , although not unhelpful, weren't over anxious to assist. Breakfast was fine but the "hot" dishes were always lukewarm. Bed was comfortable but the pillows weren't.

Cons: From the reviews we thought the hotel was closer to the city and historical sights, it was in fact closer to the commercial shopping area, or at least part of it. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the start of the sights. A nice walk through the local parks if you don't mind the walk. The bass from the gym can be felt throughout the hotel, we were in room 115 on the 1st floor so perhaps we heard or felt it more than elsewhere.

The place itself is adequate, clean enough and serves a nice continental breakfast each morning (coffee, tea, fruit juice, cereal, ham, cheese, tomatoes, bread, butter and jam). The saff are really nice and accomodating. We stayed in 3 bed room with private bathroom, the beds were comfortable and had extra blankets if needed. The roof top area is nice and spacious. For value and location this pension is good value. Great that you don't need to check out until 12.00!!

Cons: I will not blame Nuevo Suizo for that but if you are in a car you must consider that it was difficult to park nearby. We had to leave the car for 2,5 days at a secure parking lot; which costed us an 'extra' €72.
