Pros: Staff were friendly. Rooms were more than spacious.
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was really impressed with the layout and comfort of the room.
Cons: - No tub - Queen bed only had 2 pillows on it when we arrived, for aesthetics purposes, 4 should be on each - Asked for a full clean and bathroom was not cleaned well (hair left everywhere)
Pros: Excellent room design, amenities, staff and value
Cons: Nice hotel , but they were out of baby play pens. Would recommend reserving or bringing own if traveling with a baby
Pros: Very clean! Friendly staff and great continental breakfast!
Cons: No amenities in room (razor, soaps, toothpast etc...)
Pros: Reasonable size gym room & laundry facilities were more than expected.
Cons: The breakfast was okay, but for an Eco-friendly sort of atmosphere, having microwave-only breakfast meals was disapointing. Having waffles & oatmeal made it workable. i prefer the Garden Inn breakfast style.
Pros: I like the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and the area was accommodating.
Pros: The guest manager went above and beyond for us. He upgraded our room, and catered to all our extra needs with 2 young children. I definitely recommend this hotel for young families. The location is perfect. Close to all the stores, science centre etc.
Pros: new and rooms were awesome with big fridge, microwave, sink and dishes. Great price as well!
Cons: a bit hard to see from the road and we missed it the first time we went by. the signage is a bit hard to see as it is behind a doubletree hotel.

Pros: Location is excellent - among the many restaurants, bars and small shops on Whyte Avenue. Rooms are well-appointed, stylish and very clean. Staff was professional and friendly. Included breakfast was high quality with hot and cold items.
Cons: My only criticism is that the plumbing was getting worse for wear (drain stopper in sink didn't work).

Pros: location. Room. Breakfast
Cons: I though it was odd that with there being very few guests that a family with rambuxious kids were placed above us.

Cons: Not a darn thing
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Bathroom tile was loose near tub ...just overall maintenance from possible shifting.

Cons: Price slightly higher than PriceLine said. Parking is not well-kept in winter. Wine at welcome is very low-grade, and appetizers were minimal this time. Not deal-breakers but not up to usual standards.

Cons: When I arrived to the hotel after a long day of travel I was told that "due to unforeseen circumstances" they did not have my room. Basically the hotel overbooked itself and gave away the room that I had a confirmed reservation for. They didn't even bother to call me in advance and let me know. Instead they just let me arrive at the hotel and sent me around the corner to a hotel of a significantly lower quality and level of service. I am appalled by this experience and will never book a room at any fairmont property ever again.
Pros: The Staff were amazing , the view of the valley was very nice. I was thrilled to stay in a hotel which played a major Roll in the development of Edmonton, Alberta and Canada. For this reason the Mac is priceless history. I will be back
Cons: Small room garbage on the lower patio
Pros: Smudge the dog was adorable and you can never get better mattresses and pillows than at a fairmont guaranteed
Cons: The mouse/mice in the lounge
We loved that we could walk the dog, and the friendly staff.

Pros: I really liked the service and Sunday morning branch.
Pros: We were very pleased with our room, it was clean, very quiet and quite comfortable.
Cons: We feel that there should be an elevator going to the pool area, we found the stairs to be quite inconvenient. Also there should be a better means of getting one's luggage from the parking garage up to the main floor area.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and fresh and the staff were helpful.
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff was very friendly & helpful.

Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and it is within good walking distance to Rogers Place.
Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The shower and washroom in general was lacking.
Pros: The location was great, room was clean and there was parking. Beds were comfortable. We like the fridge.
Cons: Cafe closed too early. Guest Parking is kind of pricey. Door sweep not attached and therefore we could hear most noises in the hall (we were the furthest from the elevators but we could hear it ding).
Pros: Staff was the FRIENDLIEST and most helpful, restaurant food/service was excellent and the location perfect! We will come back next summer with a group of 30!!!!
Cons: There was a dog barking in the room next door to me for the first 2 nights of my stay. Calling the front desk didn't address the barking.
Cons: surprise parking fee of $19 per night in a parkade with no security or elevator.
Pros: The proximity to downtown night life!
Pros: Always meet your needs. Double beds - yes. Microwave - yes. Commercial powerful ware pool and steamed room - yes. Courteous front counter staff - yes.
Cons: In the business room always out of paper.
Pros: Four star accommodations that were very clean. Restaurant was great, staff maybe hovered a little too much, but it was very quiet there so that's may be why.
Cons: Parking spaces were too close together, makes for dinged up doors
Pros: the location is the most important to me, I also appreciate the effort taken to keep the hotel looking fresner than others in a hight price bracket. well done!
Cons: maybe have more resilient key cards, mine kept deactivating
Pros: The room was nice, very modern.
Cons: How many times can I say it? Parking, parking, parking. Again, no mention of having to pay for parking when you book. $20/night to park at the hotel. Garage is owned by ImPark. If you're lucky enough to find a meter, you can park free overnight.

Cons: We had no running water on arrival, but we did get to check in a little early.
Pros: Beds are comfortable, room was large and clean.
Cons: Check in was terrible, the counter person didn't give us all the information and our room wasn't ready
Cons: Family next to us was loud
Pros: They comped us to a larger room free of charge. Great service at front desk. Good discounts at the attractions if you buy then at the desk. Comfy beds and very clean.
Cons: Not much to complain about.... the decor is a little dated but I kinda liked the cheesy 80's design.
Cons: Two of the girls from our group were stuck in a broken elevator for over an hour.
Cons: Had asked for a king bed only got a queen
Cons: What you pay is no where near the value. Over priced
Pros: Fantasyland is a convenient stay for the whole family. While my kids were at the water park (passes r cheaper at the front desk), I was able to shop (don't expect any great deals at this mall). My family also enjoyed the theatres. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. I had great sleeps on the bed.
Cons: With so many families there for the Taylor Swift concert, I was surprised the hotel didn't arrange a shuttle to Rexall Place. We ended up having to leave a day early so we lost money on our booking thru Kayak. The hotel didn't offer us a reduction for our next stay
Cons: We had no place to put a baby with a crib and they had no cribs...
Pros: The convenience of being connected to the mall.
Cons: Wasn't informed of the construction prior to booking, rooms looked out dated and beds uncomfortable and old for what you pay. There is always an incredibly long line for the elevators! The staff were friendly but not near enough vallet/concierge staff! They always looked stressed and wouldn't let me bring my own luggage to my room! Instead they wanted me to leave it in he front entrance unattended and they would bring it up when they could .... Not a chance!
Pros: The location being at the mall is excellent.
Cons: Feels old, with poor staff.

Cons: Hotel location is only think I can think about as positive, my stay was short 10pm to 8am, when I got inside room floor was full of restaurant flyers, room insulation was terrible, could listen next room conversations if they talked a bit louder and all traffic.
The worst was aircondition, every time it went on was really loud, woke up every single time it came on during the night.
