Pros: Nice car, easy pick-up and drop-off
Cons: Pricing was misleading. The insurance costed 4 times more than the rental itself. Felt like a trap.

Very nice experience overall
Pros: The service was very good, the rep was very accomodating. I got an upgrade and ended up being the first driver in a brand new Audi A1. Overall I was very pleased with my experience eventhough it wasn't cheap due to the mandatory insurance of $23/day. Sixt offered an additional coverage for scratches and dents, which set me back another $10/day but gave me a peace of mind I needed. Upon return to the airport drop-off location I got a private shuttle to my terminal. The driver helped me to load and unload my luggage and was very pleasant overall.
Cons: The mandatory insurance of $23/day by the state of Israel was not a pleasant surprise. When I made an online reservation, I was under the impression that the car will cost around $20/day. Once I got to the pick up location, I was told about the mandatory insurance that EXCEEDED the actual rent. My 2,5 day rental ended up setting me back $150, which is double of what I would spend in US. Another unpleasant thing is the "hold" of $1200 Sixt places on your credit card, which resulted in another $36 charge by my cc company as a 3% international fee. The $1200 got refunded, but I'm still arguing with Chase about that fee. This is something US travellers should keep in mind and maybe discuss with their cc company in advance.

To make this thru Kayac was very bad business
Cons: At the end I paid a lot more money to do this thru Kayac, because the milage is limited and they forced me to take an insurance that I dont need because I paid with American Express. The Car the gave me was very damaged, the air conditioning malfunctioning. The car was dirty. The service at the counter was a disaster

Horrible user experience with Kayak
Cons: I needed to add a child seat to my reservation but Kayak's interface dies not provide for that. There was also no reference regarding how I can do that on thexrental company's site. So when I came to oick up my car, they had no child seats available. I had to cancel ghe reservation on the spot which ruined my eeekend plans prettybad. I wrote to Kayak's customer service about this and received a very indatisfactory answer.
