Great-clean etc. I would stay here again! Only 2 tissues in bathroom!
The staff are on the whole very courteous and helpful.
staff clean NOISE all night in halls kids until 5 am police etc Wedding
Staff was very nice and professional. Facility was well kept The mattress was uncomfortably soft. Woke up with a backache.
Well kept and clean. There were however, plenty of snacks and coffee and tea available Breakfast wasn't free
The rooms were clean Paid less at the Holiday Inn Express the week prior and received more - free breakfast, free parking. HIExpress rooms seemed more modern.
I wish my room had had an outer curtain so I could push the heavy one aside during the day without feeling exposed. Also as a single woman I was a bit concerned about how long it took for the door to close.
Quietness Work in progress
Very nice place, very nice people...would stay again. No breakfast included
This is my third stay at this hotel. The hotel has free parking, a decent breakfast (included with stay), and is right next to a Starbucks and 99 (great steak tips). The rooms are clean and and staff have always been polite. The in-room mini fridge is large enough to be useful; although I do wish there were a microwave in the room as well. The Keurig in the room allows someone to come prepared with their own K-cups rather than rely on the Diedrich Coffee "Morning Edition Blend." ( I think they need to step up their maintenance / room inspections. This trip the shower curtain rod was not fully secured to the wall -- screws were loose -- so the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed; it kept sliding down because the center of the rod was hanging lower than the ends. The clock radio also was randomly making noises (buzzing sounds) even when turned off. The noise was rather regular, so housekeeping should have noticed it while cleaning the room. Other than that everything was great.
The toilet rocked around when you sit on it, the shower valve was leaking at a good pace.
Breakfast room was large and well stocked. Good restaurant within walking distance. Room was large, clean and comfortable.
The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful, room was clean and very nice and the breakfast was great! I would most certainly stay again. We were in town for a concert and the venue was within walking distance. Super easy!
The bed was soft, the room was clean. They had a nice business room. The location is good if you want Worcester downtown. The walls aren't very sound proof, all night we heard doors slamming (they slam really hard whether you want them too or not). I could hear every word of the argument in the room next to me. The breakfast wasn't very good, the coffee was okay but what do you want for free.
My stay was absolutely worth every penny. My room was clean, comfortable, quite warm (since it was in the negatives). I could stay they for more than just a night if needed. I did not like the fact that the receptionist at the front desk when asking for my card for incidentals, she failed to explain the $50 fee that was taken out of my account. I would've have been perfectly content with the fee if I was told about it when checking in. Although my room was perfect, I feel the curtains do not do justice in terms of privacy for I can see outside to the front of the hotel.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everyone i encountered at the hotel was friendly. Our housekeeper Roxi was very nice.
The Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center, despite the name, does a great job servicing a family with young kids. The grounds are immaculate and the building itself is gorgeous. I wish I had some conference to attend there, because I bet they rock it. It's convenient to the Mass Pike, the 84, and southwest Worcester County. Southbridge itself is a little rundown in parts, so it not in the best neighborhood. The pillow service idea is genius--you can order up a different pillow for your sleep style. I wish them nothing but success and recommend them wholeheartedly. They gotta switch to UHT half-and-half over CoffeeMate, CoffeeMate is garbage.
The building is really nice. great setting The carpets need to be refurbed. Also, the Bar Staff really need some customer service lessons.
The friendliness of the staff on arrival.. I had just worked a long day and was filthy and hungry and just wanted to relax.. They treated me no different than if I was in a 3 piece suit.. They offered me some menus for take out and had me in a room in a just a few minutes.. The room was clean and comfortable.. I will def stay here again when I'm in the area..
Welcoming, comfortable and convenient
The beds were comfortable There was a screaming crying baby in the to right next door. They also had workers directly outside our window banging away in the roof at 7am working in construction. It was awful! We were up all night due to these and they would not give us a credit for being rudely awoken.
Unfortunately we had to cancel but at the time of booking I was not told that If I cancelled would be charged the full amount of my room charge. I contacted the Courtyard in Worcester and they informed me that it was third party reservation and there was no refunds. The cancellation was due to an emergency operation on my wife after the operation she couldn't travel. I'm very disappointed with your organization not explaining this policy at time of booking. I plan on showing my displeasure by posting a review and comment on Face Book and Ripoff.com You can contact me with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org
The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. It wasn't pet friendly.
The staff was very nice, informative and helpful. I learned that booking a Marriott through Kayak, they don't give you any of the rewards points you get when you book directly through Marriott. Of course, booking a Marriott through Kayak was less expensive than booking one through the Marriott itself. I think that is ridiculous. Also, the hotel is overpriced for the location, and half the parking lot is under construction making parking a very difficult task.
room did not have desk lamp or easy chair which is usually standard in the hampton inn's I have stayed in. bathroom ceailing was all patched - it seemed as if this room was under renovation and should not have been used until it was finished. breakfast was good as was pool and fitness facility. location great.
This is a really nice place to stay, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was very nice. We had the two queen room with microwave and small refrigerator, my only complaint would it would be nice to put in a small chair and reading light. Enjoyed the spa and pool as well.
A great disappointment! Staff were very confused and unprofessional upon check in. Took 20 minutes to check us in, then advised us they did not have room type we were guaranteed. As we checked into our room and settled in, we found hair in bathroom, mold on shower curtain. Bed linens smelled of body odor. Breakfast area was for sore eyes, low on food and no attendant to be found anywhere. At check out, we presented all the problems to the fdc, which occured during our one night (unsatisfied) stay. We were promised under hotel standards that we would receive a full refund under hotel's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. To date we have not received any phone call, letter or refund. We will be contacting hotel headquarters in regards to this property. Will not stay again!!!!
We had decided to use this hotel for my daughter's out of town wedding (40 rooms for a span of 2 nights). It went so terribly wrong. When we arrived at 3:00 pm (check in time) there was only one person at the desk who was extremely overwhelmed. None of the rooms were clean and we all had to wait in the lobby until 4:30 pm until we could get keys. We should have run then but things only got worse. They put my daughter (the bride) first in a dirty room, then gave her a room that smelled of smoke. Some of the bridal party experienced no shower curtain and a buzzing noise that started at 1:00 AM which all seemed so minor to what came next. We came back from the wedding only to find they locked my sister out of her room and refused to let her in! Although we had booked the room for two nights, they said we only paid for one so we were not allowed back in the room!!! We asked for a receipt of how much they had put on our credit card and they said they could not give it to us. After my husband was on the phone with the manager for 1/2 hr (amazing he didn't have a heart attack right there) they finally agreed my sister could get her belongings from the room. She ended up having to stay in our room, while we all had to share a king size bed!! When my husband asked about their 100% guarantee they said we would need to take it up with Corporate - nice. My husband asked to meet the manager when he came in the next morning at 7:00 AM. When he met with him, he said he was sorry and we would not have to pay for one night's stay - seriously. They also said they gave us a room to eat breakfast in, that we did not ask for. When I think back to how beautiful the most important day in my child's life was, I need to totally block out the embarassment and heartache this establishment caused. Do not be fooled by the pretty exterior, for the customer service on the inside is just a shame. So sad this happened to my guests - truly unbelievable that they would treat people who brought them s...
It's exactly what I expect from a Hampton Inn. Great loaction, friendly staff, good breakfast - many quality restaurants close by. A great museum (Old Sturbridge Village) is less than a mile away - highly recommended!!!!
I usually stay at Hampton Inns, finding them well run, comfort and clean. And this one in Sturbridge was no exception. the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was cheerful and the food was good and plentiful. It is located near several good restaurants and Sturbridge Village.
THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT OPTIONS FOR DINNER.
Once again another quality evening spent in Sturbridge. Great hotel, with a great location - lots to do, and good choices for food - will be staying again.
Hampton Inn has always been our favorite hotel. the beds are large, the hotel is clean, There are plenty of amenities, breakfast was the best we've had for continental breakfasts. We would definitley stay here again. Hopefully we can use the pool the next time.
When we lost our directions, the public computer terminal in the lobby allowed us to print last minute directions to our day trip destination via map quest.
The Hotel Europe outside Killarney is fabulous. Great setting, food, services, location. Just hated to leave!
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly GPS cant pick up were the hotel is exactly so don't rely on that to get you to the hotel. The hot tub was broken the entire time and the breakfast was subpar with the food not very well stocked.
Comfortable bed. Friendly & courteous staff. Good breakfast and coffee all day. Ample well-lit parking. The window could not be opened and the air from the air system was not fresh at all. I think a previous guest may have broken the no smoking rule.
Beautiful decor (really), high ceilings, very clean, very neat. Even with the place pretty full (we went on July 4), we didn't hear much noise. Also very close to highway, but no highway noise. Their continental breakfast arrangement could use a little re-arranging. The coffe is squished into the corner making it difficult and awkward for people to get to. Seating is at tables that is really the motel lobby.
Have been using motel for number of years when pssing through. Always clean and comfortable. Old but has many updates.
Rooms are updated nicely and I like the balcony overlooking Cedar Lake with the ducks and wildlife They need to clean up all the garbage and refuse along the banks of the lake and premises also they need to take care of their apple trees With an arborist because they are splitting at the base Of their roots because of all the heavy apples that nobody picks or uses which is really sad.
We will not be staying here again. Pull-out bed had old linens on it. Pillow had stain. Front desk made a big deal of finding new linens for it and then asked me to carry them myself even though I was still dealing with luggage. Sketchy activity into late night in the parking lot - didn't feel terribly safe.
Nothing Bait & switch with the room reservation. A reservation for a king bed and Jacuzzi turned into the actual room with two double bed and hotel had the nerve to tell me it would be no discount because two double beds is more expensive than a king room. I would not have booked the room if I knew I was going to get two double beds. I was a solo person and two double beds doesn't do me any good. The cleanliness of the room was terrible, the cleanliness of the lobby was terrible, ambivalent attitude of the staff was remarkable.
That hotel had a strong smell of febreeze type chemicals.
The shower floor in room 203 felt like it was about to cave in. The hot water would also go from hot to cold in the shower. My bed sheets had cigarette burns on it.
Staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Having a fridge in the room was a very pleasant surprise. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Also, the continental breakfast was quite a luxury. Our room had greasy puddles and handprints all over the furniture and head board. Six condoms were also left in the side table drawer.
Lots of charm. Not a chain place. Very cute, clean, and different. Wonderful gardens . It is really spread out almost like a mini resort which is good and bad.
Rooms was clean and quiet. I actually had a great night of sleep in the bed. Had dinner in the tavern; chicken pot pie was quite good. Next time we plan to try the Inn. Rooms could use some updating. Lots of toile: toile wallpaper, toile curtains, etc etc. I was a bit disappointed when our reservation stated the price included breakfast. In fact it includes coffee and a pastry. We went out for breakfast.
setting and historic setting
The tavern in the lower level had excellent food and wait staff. I found this relaxing and enjoyable. The potted plants around the exterior and in the entry were beautiful. No coffee pot in the room! The first thing I want in the a.m. is coffee.
Bed was comfy, hair dryer in room No coffee maker in room, had to shlepp across parking lot to another building for ice, no fridge, because I was the driver my friend in next room would have a hike down to the main building if she wanted coffee in the morning
All was very neat and orderly. When we went out to our car--we discovered that someone had hit the passenger side mirror and broken the lens. Light still works--but lens will have to be replaced.
Really enjoyed our stay, clean and comfy place to stay!
shortened trip from warwick ma to t f green airport. enjoyed the breakfast and my nephew hade use of hot tub.
Clean, free pancakes after 8pm, nice staff, room was big, breakfast was good and plentiful. Right off of the highway, so easy to find. Beds and pillows were TERRIBLE. I woke up with back pain throughout the night and in the morning. It went away as soon as I got home. The facilities weren't the most lavish, but they got the job done. Staff was nice, but it seemed a bit bare bones at times. Location is terrible, but that's not really the hotel's fault.
Great sized room which was well equipped with microwave fridge coffee maker etc. lots of pods, tea bags for machine. Toilet was not very efficient flushing. Weakest water pressure at any hotel I've ever visited. Ok for a bald person, but forget about rinsing conditioner from long, thick hair. Coffee and hot water dispensers were empty in common area the afternoon I was there. woman on duty at breakfast was very friendly and accommodating to guests in the morning.
They made my bed. Each day room service came, they forgot something. Washcloths, coffee, forgot to empty the trash. The whole building smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The hallway to the left of the receptionist smelled like trash each day I was walking to my room. I don't think they vacuum either.
Lots of broken dirty items. Not kept up well. Coeefilterstl had coffee, clock not fixed.
The receptionist the night we arrived was nice and understanding when we wished to shorten our stay. From the moment we walked in it smelled like stale whiskey and weed. This place was the most disgusting place I have ever been to and I was debating sleeping on the lawn outside knowing there would have been less of a chance of rolling into someone's dried jizz. I took my shoes off to get into bed (fully clothed in fear of bugs or crabs from the public hairs in between the sheets) and felt something sharp prick my foot. In horrifying disbelief I pulled a large toe nail off the bottom of my foot. I then looked at the floor and there was several toe nail clippings. Under the bed there were a bunch of crushed chips and old food smashed into the carpet that was covered in dark stains. The whole hotel reeked of stale alcohol that has been spilled a thousands times and never cleaned up. The smell of marijuana was pouring out of our vents. The bth tub had obviously not been cleaned with someone's hair stuck to the walls of the shower. There was also a used bar of soap left on the side of the tub. The heat cents were filled with dust and would be a nightmare for anyone with allergies. There was also someone walking around outside our window for most of the night. We were originally booked for four days and immediately asked to cancel the other three. We were still charged for the full amount for four nights and when we called to ask for a refund the person on the phone was very frustrated and angry saying "he told the maids to do a better job and they just won't listen to him." I'm pretty sure any good manager would hire a staff that would do their jobs. He was snapping at us and making it seem like it was the end of the world to refund our money for the nights we didn't stay. It is most definitely worth paying $20 more for a good night of sleep!
cost I've only been disturbed 3 times by a hotel room that I've stayed in and this is one. I slept with my clothes on, never took my socks off, and I put t shirts in my pillow. In hindsight, great story to tell people about road experiences.
The friends African American woman was very helpful and cordial. No elevator and only one luggage cart. Breakfast.
The check in and out process was quick and easy. Very dirty carpets and air conditioning unit. Room was about 10 years overdue for a remodeling.
Bathrooms in rooms where disgusting,.. bathroom vent in my room was being held up with about 20 strips of scotch tape. kept falling out of wall with vibration (when turned on) exposing a big hole to the outside. Comforters in room were from the 70's Showers had been painted and paint was chipping. bathroom sink looked like it was being held up with hot glue and the sagged on one side since it was particle board.
Quick check in Dirty the floors r terrible there were items from last occupant still in room water pressure is bad toilet has hard time flushing room stinks halls stink..
Desk staff was very helpful. Hole was punched in a wall, tv didn't work w/o assistance, location of hotel is difficult if one wants to go out to eat and return.
Staff and comfort Some days cleaning in room was not good
Room was large and spacious. Nice fill-the-fridge service option. I did not use this, but have never seen this offered before. Innovative.
After spending multiple weeks on the road, I felt a great deal of comfort at The Residence Inn Worcester. The staff was amazing from start to finish. The room always smelled fresh. on either Monday or Tuesday, there kitchen attendant who was highly unprofessional .. seemed really unhappy, while throwing food around, and carelessly moving from dining room to back room. White woman, with a ponytail.
Excellent condition and attention. Very comfortable rooms Kind of bad the free WiFi and, nowadays, I won't be paying 5 bucks for the few time I'm in hotel and want to chat with my family after my long work day...
Great location...wonderful staff...would definitely stay here again! Bed and linens showed their age
My wife and I stayed here one night on our trip through the northeast. We weren't looking to spend a lot, and we also weren't looking for things that we weren't going to have time to use, such as a spa, pool, fitness room, etc. It had just been renovated within the last few months, and everything was in great shape. Plus it was a good deal on top of that. Nothing.
The price was good. Comfortable beds and newer bathrooms. There were stains on the comforters. The microwave buttons hardly worked. I think the owners are about bottom dollar. They did the least amount possible to this place.
clean, convenient, donuts are fresh nothing

Standard hotel room Standard hotel room
There was no internet access the entire stay. My children were unable to watch movies, play video games, or do anything they normally would making them misrable. I could not do any of the work that I needed to. The staff did not seem concerned.

Very clean. Very friendly. Nice breakfast. Definitely staying here again when we return to this area. I didn't like the promotion they promised but hopefully that will be solved.

Breakfast was ready before published time. Nice for people who have to leave early My room didn't get made up. The plug in the bathtub didn't hold water very well.

Morning staff was great. It was difficult to locate without a GPS.
Very clean room. Comfortable bed! Nothing!
Friendly staff - very clean bathroom! Breakfast in the morning, just enough variety to keep everyone happy. Would definitely stay here again.
Only stayed for one night. Affordable and booking reservations was hassle-free.
