Pros: Extremely comfortable bed, warm and beautiful rooms, with lots of history. Original artwork on all walls. Gorgeous re-furnished wood doors and floors and furniture. Fabulous shower. Great views, delicious food and very interesting conversations. One of the most memorable places that we have ever stayed!
Pros: Beautiful and unique. Best bathroom ever after North Face Endurance 50 mile race. Host left me lavender bath soap for claw foot tub
Pros: The view was spectacular. I hecshower wmazing
Cons: I wish there was a writing desk so I could do some work
Pros: Fantastic atmosphere, great breakfast, great conversation with owners.
Pros: Everything! Beautiful place, relaxing room, amazing host! Of all the places I’ve ever stayed this by far was the best.
Cons: Absolutely nothing! I loved everything!
Pros: Nelson has a great sense of aesthetics, so Casa Hudson is a wonderful house to stay in. The location is fabulous. Sitting on the front verandah looking at the Hudson River is stunning.
Cons: The internet was a bit slow.
Pros: Super Host! Interesting neighbourhood, great view! Felt at home
Cons: Nothing really. Maybe a little warm without air conditioning. For the room we had, only 2 out of 3 windows had blackout curtains, a bit bright in the mornings, but with a beautiful view, no complaints.
Pros: Casa Hudson is a real home away from home. Though it is a historic villa, the rooms are very modern and everything is very comfortable. We enjoyed the open and warm atmosphere. Breakfast is not only very delicious but also comes with a great view on the Hudson River.
With a stay at Bricktown Inn in Haverstraw, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Palisades Center and Hudson Highlands Cruises. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was so delicious
Pros: The breakfasts were delicious. Our host and hostess of the inn were kind and friendly. They gave us tips about where to eat as well as sights to see. We would recommend the Bricktown Inn to our friends as well as return ourselves.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Pros: It’s just amazing. wonderful and super friendly landlords :)
Pros: Innkeepers were great
Cons: The freight trains run right behind the Inn
Pros: Super cozy inn. Cookies and coffee/tea were delicious, and we loved relaxing on the gorgeous front porch for a few hours in the afternoon. Bed was comfortable, soap in room smelled nice, and breakfast was delicious! Restaurants and town were walking distance, as was the church with Tiffany glass windows!
Cons: Did not expect the train to be so loud, but it was not a big deal.
Pros: The inn itself is a gem, from outdoor seating (cute patio and backyard garden), interior decor (beautiful rooms, library & piano, and homey vibe) to fantastic hosts and delicious breakfast. The location was perfect driving distance to Bear Mountain and towns on the other side of the Hudson, ie. Tarrytown, Peekskill. Michelle and Joe were very welcoming and offered good recommendations of things to see/eat/do nearby. We really felt at home and would love to come back- thank you Michelle and Joe!
Cons: Nothing :)
Pros: Clean with comfortable beds and amazing breakfast!
Cons: Too close to the train tracks ... truly difficult to sleep as the train runs just about every hour on the hour all day long .
Pros: Breakfast was awesome and Michelle was flexible on the timing for breakfast. Really enjoyed the after hours "snack bar" that had cold drinks and homemade cookies. Nice touch!
Pros: Michelle was extremely attentive and an excellent host. Her breakfast is something you will leave craving for days! Her amazing B&B has so much character, is charming and super clean. I was impressed and highly recommend her place for anyone staying in Haverstraw area.
Pros: Friendly, helpful innkeeper, great food
Cons: The train going by and blowing its horn 100 yards from the Inn

Pros: Nice, new and clean. Friendly staff. The power went out the last night of our stay and they did what they could to ensure our comfort.
Cons: The power outage was beyond the staff's control. However, I recommend the company install emergency generators in the event a future episode occurs. Elderly and very young can be more adversely affected by loss of power.
Pros: Clean , friendly caring staff , amazing breakfast -- great service all around
Cons: Pool was very cold
Pros: We estimated our check-in time to be 12:30 am on our online booking form yet we were delayed a lot and did not reach the hotel until 4:30 am. Regardless we were able to check in smoothly and promptly, I really appreciated the friendly and welcoming reception at the check-in desk.
Pros: Friendly Staff, hotel is clean and nicely finished.
Cons: Very pricey @ '$---/night for mid-may Friday night. I would definitely recommend it, just not during mid-may.
Pros: Location customer service
Pros: Right on hudson and not far from restaurants (but you need to drive). Large rooms. Free breakfast is typical (not great or terrible) but convenient.
Pros: I loved the location near the water and anything I needed was there.
Cons: Really have no complaints. It was a nice stay.
Pros: Clean and nice location, good breakfast
Cons: - Noisy AC - I was demanding a room on a high level and the staff didn't considerate my request even the hotel had very low occupancy on that date.
Pros: Staff was very good; room was clean & comfortable; inability to turn off fan in bathroom is a negative; no complimentary newspaper is a negative for this price point.
Cons: As said, no complimentary newspapers; nonstop bathroom fan, extra fee for the option of cancelling room. Are you copying the airlines?
Cons: No problem
Pros: Brand new hotel on the Hudson River in Peekskill. Closed for the river and beautiful riverfront walk. Delicious breakfast & cozy rooms.
Cons: But a little bit overpriced & very closed for incinerator factory
Pros: The staff was very nice
Cons: The breakfast spread wasn't what I'd expected. There weren't many options for people with dietary restrictions
With a stay at Inn on the Hudson in Peekskill, you'll be on a river, within a 15-minute drive of Bear Mountain State Park and Peekskill Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location. Room was cute.
Cons: There was a bug in the towel for the floor in front of the bathtub. Long black hair in bathroom. "Free breakfast" .. apparently first come first serve... When they ran out at 9:30, those who came after.. well too bad.
Pros: The food in the restaurant / bar was surprisingly tasty. Far exceeded the expectations I would hold for any bar food. Absolutely brilliant service too.
Cons: Nothing. All was very good.
Pros: The shower, the bed was super comfortable. Loved the view from just sitting on the bed.
Cons: Tight parking on the hill. Could have a little bit more variety with breakfast. But I did like the bagels and pastries.
Pros: The pool was the highlight
Cons: The shower were backing up. The carpet looked dirty. If it rains they close the pool and don't reopen it even if it stops raining and it's sunny again.
Pros: Good restaurant and swimming pool
Cons: Located near a major railroad junction so trains were sounding there horns into the early hour and as a result we had very little sleep!
Pros: Provided all I needed plus there was a fridge and microwave, which I could use, but didn’t Desk agent responded positively to my pointing out tears/ware in carpets. Great view of Hudson!
Cons: Poor maintenance and floor cleaning. Desk agent said new manager was getting around to doing better maintenance by replacing the carpets gradually in each room. Back stairs led to disaster area where staff smoked and dodn’t clean. Front stairs ok. No elevator.
Pros: Location was great for our needs. The small room was clean, with the bathroom newly redone. At breakfast, they had run out of bagels about 45 minutes before 'closing time' (I asked if they had more as I saw people seated eating bagels, and was told 'no', as the bakery serving cabinet was completely bare but the 'fixings' for toppings were stocked); then as we were checking out an hour later after the breakfast end time, the staff was putting away English muffins from the cabinet), so the staff could have said 'no bagels left but we will be restocking with English muffins or bread shortly', instead of 'no more bagels'. Coffee was passable, yogurt, cereals, and waffle maker were available, so overall a decent breakfast offering.
Cons: There was a person being waited on at the check in desk, who was having difficulty with credit cards/insufficient funds loudly complaining about her wait, and there were 2 other families ahead of us also waiting to check in. The desk staff was patient but reluctant to pull in the manager, but she should have had the manager personally deal with the troubled check in, as the people in front of me had been waiting 45 minutes (so they said to us). Our own wait was 20 minutes, which would have been OK if the front desk/breakfast room itself had not been so hot (people coming in/out from the pool area). The actual check in process only took a few minutes, and the check out was fast too. Parking was fine (right in front of room).
Pros: You should remove inn on the Hudson from your list. I would really like to explain the problems I had checking in, and the no cash policy, CREDIT CARD only
Pros: The view from the balcony was lovely.
Cons: The room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, the carpet was literally thread bare, the shower mouldy, overall I believe the hotel should not be more than a two star property.
Pros: The bed was soft
Cons: My preference of the room
Pros: The view fron the room to the Hudson river
Pros: The pool was the best thing about this place although the area around the pool was grubby with missing tiles and loose concrete.
Cons: We booked for 5 but they didnt know we had so booking.com need to rectify this. They squeezed a cot in the room which was uncomfortable with springs coming through. Very basic breakfast dont bother. Grubby room in desperate need of an upgrade.

With a stay at Budget Motor Inn - Stony Point in Stony Point, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bear Mountain State Park and Penguin Rep Theatre. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Dirty room, did not make up room in a.m., mold in bathroom, owner/manager disappeared & could not be found, noisy from road and next door room, dangerous outside stairs to room, scratch bath towels the size of wash cloth.
Pros: Great room were to comfortable
Cons: Room were to comfortable
Pros: Air condition.
Pros: The bathroom was clean. Hotel was close to event I was attending is its only real plus. Overpriced for condition.
Cons: Very smoky and mold across the ceiling tiles really set off allergies. I was concerned for my safety trying to get to second level of older area. Window blinds partially torn away in rooms gave this place a very sketchy feeling. Only a deadbolt avail.
Pros: The person at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The place is walking distance to the store & bank. The room has a great cabin look, wooden walls all around.
Cons: There was no phone in the room. The Carpet needed vacuuming maybe an occasional shampoo.
Cons: Dingy and smelly room. Carpet was filthy and floor sagged.
Pros: The cost was low. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Close to our event. When our event was canceled hotel management was willing to refund one evening when we left a day early.
Cons: Room reeked of cigarette smoke. A 'clean' bath towel had dry crusty yellow substance on it. Dirt in all corners (showered with flip flops on). Overall hotel is old and in dire need of remodeling.
Pros: Quiet room. Microwave & fridge. Bed was also comfortable.
Cons: Comforter smelled like it hadn't been washed in yrs. Sink was not clean around fixtures and top of basin. Towels were very thin. Only 1 bedside table.
Pros: It was a BUDGET motel in every sense of the word - budget! BUT it was clean. It had a/c but I did not need it. The TV reception was fair at best.
Pros: The staff worked hard to make our stay comfortable and we did But it is a budget property and that does mean budget Worked for us and our needs
Cons: Didn't service my room
Pros: Very clean
