Pros: Excellent location and the hotel was comfortable and the meal we had in the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: We were told that we had been selected as ‘guest of the day’. This was a near worthless honour and so created disappointment and therefore did not add to our experience. As an example we were told that the mini bar was complimentary but but the contents were laughable.

Pros: Terrific location for T4 Heathrow. Great modern, stylish hotel - super comfortable beds. The only down side: Air conditioning in the room. Cons: It’s a little noisy as on main road but it is london so expected
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an absolutely brilliant short stay I had at the Queens Head. My partner and I had a lovely evening, with absolutely delicious dinner served by the pub. The room was so tastefully designed I even took a few photos as inspiration for renovating my own home and told my partner that I would love for our bedroom to look like this! The staff were so delightful and helpful, and the breakfast was out of this world. Thank you so much for a lovely lovely stay, it’s refreshing to not stay in a typical hotel for once and stay somewhere that feels homely and cosy.
Cons: Loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room 7 was quiet and had very comfortable beds. The en-suite wet room was roomy (instructions on how to use the shower would save guests some time) Breakfast was perfectly acceptable although we are used to better bacon! Service was friendly and our preferences for our cooked breakfast were catered for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a hidden gem of our trip! The location may be a little challenge for some foreign visitor for the first time but in fact, the place is convenient by bus and railway to get, besides, very close to the Thames River, Richmond Park and the Kew garden. Except for the location, you will receive a very warmhearted and helpful welcome and care, you can feel the guys here are proud of their cute inn. Although it's a little bar under here, you can hardly be interrupted in the client room, which is elaborately decorated in a classic style (victoria maybe?) with history to be explored. And about breakfast, definitely the most extravagant we have had during the journey! Thank you all! Oct, 10th.

Cons: Can’t think of anything to improve except maybe a light above the coffee/tea area as was quite hard to see what I was pouring!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place, spacious and clean rooms and staff who are practical, genuine and pleasant. Very short walk into Central Kingston, some parking (limited) provided on-site. Thoroughly pleasant stay.
Cons: Nothing really.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with plenty of storage and a chair. Excellent breakfast and service.
Cons: Toilet roll holder located too far from the toilet (Atillia). Height of the bedroom door Yale lock and the key was difficult at times to remove. The poor explanation/justification for the credit card £50 .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great right by the river. The decor inside was lovely and cozy.
Cons: The staff didn’t provide us with info about the hotel on check in and it was only through my own research I knew about it. They seemed not fussed about us being there or not.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely position on the river. Didn't realise we needed to book a parking space We arrived before check in and left our over night bag at reception and was disappointed that it was not taken to our room
Cons: Didn't realise we needed to book a parking space We arrived before check in and left our over night bag at reception and was disappointed that it was not taken to our room Service charge added on drinks so they were quite expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed is a great size and very comfy
Cons: To add breakfast it would have been £20 a person
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location - handy for town but suitably quiet Lovely outlook across gardens and river. Attractive décor in room and public areas and very clean.
Cons: Restaurant poor value. Breakfast (continental) was overpriced and not well stocked - even relatively early no croissants available and would have been 15 minute delay to acquire more..!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent quality and choice.
Cons: In room internet and digital radio were not working, and television was only partially working.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Amazing position on river, bedroom nice with lovely view. Friendly bar staff. Lovely view from terrace. When we arrived the bar was closed for filming which appeared to take priority over hotel guests even though hotel had been informed day before it was our wedding day! They did however give us some complimentary sparkling wine!
Cons: Reception staff very bored, unsmiling and underwhelming especially as our wedding day! A vacuum cleaner stored outside bedroom door with other laundry items stacked up!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well decorated, friendly staff and attractive building. Good quality all round.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms were spacious and clean
Cons: The menu in restaurant didn’t have much variety was a bit basic for 4* hotel. Only one steak on offer which is sirloin no other option
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location for exploring for he Great River Race, which was why we stayed
Cons: Dining room was a bit odd, nothing really well defined. Buffet breakfast was average at best
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent, more than enough to choose from.
Cons: Probably that our room was located across the car park in a separate building. Especially inconvenient when the weather was inclement!
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was lovely, great location and surroundings! Nice facilities, tasty breakfast, comfortable rooms. Pleasant stay, good customer service would definitely return!
Cons: Family room (we shared between four adults) was a lot smaller than expected - pictures of the rooms on the website are not a good representation of the size of the rooms. We arrived late after travelling from Cornwall on a friday evening after work. The room was only set up for two people (two sets of towels, two drinking mugs etc) had to phone reception and ask for more of everything. We were looking forward to getting to the hotel and ordering room service after a long drive, we asked about this before arriving and were told it’s a 24/7 service - unfortunately the menu changes at 10pm and is very limited. Breakfast was very tasty ! However on the weekend we stayed it was very busy and we had to wait a while fit lots of elements of the buffet style full English to be replenished after running out. It seemed that the hotel was almost too busy and not keeping up with demand.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The lensbury is an excellent hotel with a fantastic history. The staff were some of the best that I have met, a great experience for our 30th anniversary
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. Excellent facilities. Family room was exceptional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gym facilities are excellent and the riverside position is wonderful.
Cons: Air conditioning units on flat roof outside our window weren’t a good view!
7.1 Good
Pros: Facilities were really good
Cons: Our room was separate from the main building and was much smaller than expected so we were disappointed.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with the back lawn stretching down to the river Thames. Very nice facilities (swimming pool) and lovely bar/lounge area that was nice to sit and relax in. I also greatly appreciated the vending machines for an inexpensive snack after swimming and the room service which was prompt and with nice food.
Cons: The room itself was nothing fancy, although it had everything I needed and it was quiet and with a comfortable bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: good to have the swimming-pool available; good location; convenient for public transport
Cons: breakfast could have been included for the price

Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: Price
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views over the Thames, delicious duck salad on room service and a very comfortable room. Great spa facilities and massage.
Cons: Very busy when we stayed so the pool and spa was quite crowded. We opted for a walk along the Thames and a later spa session to avoid the crowds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, and world class spa
Cons: Nothing
6.5 Good
Pros: Awesome spa facilities, the whole place was clean.
Cons: The rooms were very hot and no way to control air conditioning. The staff at check in lacked any listening skills or emotional awareness. We requested english breakfast tea bags in the morning as the room had none and the porter delivered earl grey?! In too much of a rush to get to an event to chase. Hotel is right in Heathrow flight path so very noisy for most of the night when the window is open (as room to hot!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff superb very friendly vibrant atmosphere
Cons: Absolutely Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was completing in the Thames Path Ultra 100km challenge and had hiked 31 miles to get to Runnymede. I liked everything about the hotel from the great welcome I received at check in, the comfort and facilities of my room, and the friendliness of the bar and food service staff. I left in the early hours of the next morning completely refreshed. I totally recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing, it was all good !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was the main reason we came back to the hotel, we loved the buffet service and gourmet produce available with a view of the river. Our room this time was smaller than our last but equally comfortable and lovely. The dinner was nice at the Lock and Bar Kitchen and the wine was incredible.
Cons: Check out is a bit ridiculous, really dampens the mood on the way out when you have to queue for 20 minutes just to leave. Maybe a different service could be offered? The spa was nice, not enough loungers though and we had to sit on the floor. Also, big groups of regulars walked around owning the place so we couldn't get into the hot tub or into the nice adult only quiet section.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate in one of the restaurants. The food was pleasant and good value. The room was nice.
Cons: This is the second time we have stayed and it is a nice hotel. Not a "you must stay there." but a perfectly pleasant hotel with friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming staff
Cons: Choice of firmer pillow

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, my wife had room service and no tray charge!
Cons: Terrible check-out experience we had to wait roughly 40 minutes to pay and leave, there was a queue and only one person at the desk and nobody coming to her assistance.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A perfectly satisfactory place for what we wanted to do in the area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to Kew Gardens for a day trip and the hotel was exceptionally well placed for a visit there. With parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We couldn't fault this hotel at all. The location is great, it's value for money by London standards and having private and secure parking was a real bonus. Breakfast was good, as were staff. We had a great meal just across the river at the Steam Packet Inn. For anyone visiting Kew Gardens this hotel is perfect. However we also found it really handy for getting into London with rail and tube stations nearby
Cons: It was all good
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms where small, carpet filthy with stains, mould in the shower, bed was so hard, didn’t sleep much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff, and very good quality meals. Very good value. Adjacent to Elizabeth Gate entrance to Kew Gardens, and conveniently located to central London by tube or rail. We were particularly impressed when within a couple of hours after our departure, we received a phone call from the hotel to say we had left an article behind and that they would post it on. We received the item within a week.
Cons: Breakfast service was a bit slow, but nice to get a freshly cooked breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: The position of the hotel was perfect, the food excellent and very comfortable and friendly staff.
Cons: A few late night noises which were annoying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good rooms, excellent breakfast and pleasant staff. Fresh clean sheets and towels. Free car parking.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location, tea & coffee making facilities in room and secure underground parking. Pleasant room at a comfortable temperature.
Cons: Tea at breakfast was lukewarm but put right when requested without any problems. Receptionist was unsure about processing credit card payment and the other staff member available was not very helpful to her to resolve so took longer than necessary to check out.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were return guests at this hotel. The room this time was at the rear and much roomier than our previous visit. It was quiet and has good food in the restaurant. A very good place which served our purpose of being relatively close to Heathrow for catching a flight. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: A bit of a walk to a tube station (900m). Taxi is best for airport transfer. Breakfast choices were a bit limiting in sections. Operation of the TV was a bit of a challenge but staff solved it quickly.

Cons: Lovely comfortable bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. Went to order another drink and was told the bar was closed, no last order had been called or advised. Rather upset that we were not down there enjoying our family get together.

5.0 Okay
Cons: At £160 per night for a twin room, when I requested a double, grumpy reception staff, I will stay elsewhere in future.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was ideally situated for our visit. The room was clean and roomy enough to relax in. Thee was a good variety for breakfast so we were both happy.
Cons: Our bathroom door was extremely tight so it was very difficult to close.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Too expensive for a basic room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy and yes the croissants were excellent! Very good array of breakfast items and seriously good coffee!
Cons: Bacon a little overdone but this is really being picky!
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Room was clean and beds comfortable! However small and heating control complicated and without explanatory info! Bathroom clean and shower good but no bath which I would have liked. Reception staff a bit surly as were some of the breakfast staff. I asked if I could take my mug of tea to my room after breakfast as it was too hot to drink quickly and was told no! Despite my assurance that I’d return it! The breakfast buffet was not good! The cooked food limited, poor quality and frankly inedible. Continental side, ie croissants, cereals and yoghurt! - limited and just about ok! All in all very poor value for money!

4.2 Okay
Pros: Being able to open windows
Cons: Receptionist on arrival very curt and insisted we only booked one night instead of two. Finally realised her mistake and didn’t even apologise. Walked past a male staff member and smiled saying hello and no smile or answer in return. The room was much smaller than we anticipated.
6.7 Good
Pros: Welcome was good. Breakfast was excellent. Bedroom was made of paper thin walls! Sounds from below quite audible despite them talking normally!
Cons: As above.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room at the top of the stairs. Excellent shower and plenty of light in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Gardens are very enjoyable to walk in early morning and evening and Richmond Park is only a short stroll away.
Cons: Room gets very hot with the afternoon sun.
6.7 Good
Pros: The home itself was so beautiful.
Cons: I think the staff were mostly overseas part-timers, so they weren't invested in the job. No one to show you around the home and explain the family significance, as most people would come for the house and history. Felt more like a big hotel than a boutique historic home experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here are amongst the best I have known. So friendly I felt I could have moved in permanently! Food is also great - everything home made and very British.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location!!!
4.0 Okay
Pros: The setting for the hotel was beautiful, everything else was ordinary.
Cons: The room itself was average and in the annexe which I hadn't been informed of before arriving. It lacked any insulation and so could hear absolutely every sound from room above. Changed rooms at 1.00am to a single but that was even noisier so returned to original next day after having hardly any sleep. Bar food was mediocre and had to return chips as they were not cooked.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was on a private road. Very quiet area. The dinner and breakfast were good. The room was pleasant and comfortable.
Cons: The hotel often caters for weddings and conferences - individual guests might sometimes find such events distracting. This was not the case during our stay for Friday night only.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable for an "entry level" room
Cons: The menu was very limited indeed for a restaurant to match the hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Surrounding gardens and location
Cons: WiFi is not strong enough and constantly drops out. Blood on one of the pillows.
